I'm having a lot of fun with the buffed Dead Man's Switch on Freddy. I managed to block 3 generators using his Class Photo addon last night lol. Has this perk found it's way into your builds?11 comments 171 views last activity

Is anyone experiencing sound issues after the new patch? Everything seems to be amplified, especially in the lobby. There's a loud chirping noise which is very annoying. I play on the Steam version.0 comments 31 views last activity

Is there a compilation video of all the quotes on the load screen for the 5th anniversary? I've checked YouTube but I can't find anything. I like the trivia type of quotes from the developers.6 comments 171 views last activity

This achievement really tested my patience but I finally managed to unlock it today. I've been focusing on achievements over the past couple of weeks to keep myself occupied until the Resident Evil DLC is released. Anyone else have any funny stories to share regarding this achievement?14 comments 171 views last activity

As taken from the 4.6.1 bugfix patch notes: "Fixed an issue that could cause a small delay in the activation of the Wraith's post-uncloak speed boost." I'm really glad this has been fixed, anyone else with me?4 comments 211 views last activity

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/223368/optimization I asked this question in the 'General Discussions' category and it was swiftly moved to the 'Optimization' category, I guess to minimize exposure rather than move it to the correct section? Why is a new HUD needed when the current one is perfectly fine? I've been asking myself this question ever since the 4.5.0 PTB. I think the new HUD looks like it belongs in a mobile game and it's placement takes up too much of the screen. I think BHVR should implement a modular HUD so you can move the different elements around.33 comments 541 views last activity

With more and more realms receiving a graphical update, advanced graphics settings are needed more than ever, this is especially the case on console versions of the game. I play the game on both a PS4 and PC. What are your thoughts on this?13 comments 201 views last activity

As it's near impossible to purchase a PlayStation 5 in my country, I have switched from a PlayStation 4 console to a PC for the time being. I am devotion 9 on the PlayStation 4 version of Dead By Daylight and I have almost every survivor at Prestige 3 Level 50. Given this, I really hope we get cross-progression between PlayStation, Xbox and Steam soon. Is there anyone else in the same situation a10 comments 161 views last activity

I have a background in game testing and I have beta tested games on the PlayStation 4 before they go to retail. It is possible to download test builds on consoles via code redemption through their respective stores. Now that next gen consoles have released, I hope BHVR provide codes to download test builds to perform testing on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X consoles. Is anyone experiencing low frame rate and stutters on every map as both survivor and killer after installing the 4.1.0 update on PS4? Midwich and Lerys is literally unplayable, maybe 10 FPS max for me. If a killer is running Sloppy Butcher and hits a survivor the game completely freezes for a couple of seconds. Thank you.0 comments 51 views last activity

I'm a dad and the only game I play is Dead by Daylight in the evening whilst my kids are asleep. Last night I managed to get all of the killers to level 50 (with a few prestiged killers here and there) on PS4, it took me a while with the little free time I have. I wanted to share this with you all as a way to show the diversity of the playerbase in Dead22 comments 431 views last activity

Ever since the dedicated servers went live yesterday, queue times have increased considerably. Before the dedicated servers went live, it took no longer than 10 minutes for me to find a game at rank 1 solo. It took me 25 minutes to find a game last night (timed with a stopwatch). Unfortunately, I don't have time to queue for upwards to an hour every evening to play two games as survivor. On the12 comments 2,791 views last activity

Last night I tried this combo on The Shape for the first time and it was great fun. Simply take a pallet stun to switch obsession and gain super fast stalking due to Judith's Journal. I recently bought the Stranger Things DLC as I am a fan of the show. I was looking forward to trying out The Demogorgon but I am experiencing frame rate issues which makes him very difficult to play. I think the frames per second top out at 15 and on some maps it's worse than others, Hawkins, Red Forest and Mount Ormond Resort in particular. Does anyone else have this issue? n.b., I play Dead b1 comments 42 views last activity

As quoted from the news thread: "some Chapters ARE unavailable? You are right. The Leatherface and The Nightmare on Elm Street aren't available on Switch. The perks that would be coming with the chapters are included in the base perk pool." Are these chapters unavailable due to a licensing matter or hardware limitations of the Switch? I am guessing the dream world is quite graphically demand3 comments 111 views last activity
