There are too many pallets in this game. There are too many strong pallets that take too long to loop. There are many pallets where M1 killers have no chance for a down, or any chance for using their power to get a hit. Getting stunned and losing a bloodlust token neuters the potential for killers to outplay a lot of overpowered loops. Take the connected loops on a broken map like Garden of Jo11 comments 191 views last activity

There's too many pallets in the game. Most maps have an abundance of resources. A big part of playing killer well is trying to zone survivors into parts of the map where you can end chases fast. Having a perk that let you break an undropped pallet would be extremely useful and a great chase perk. You could make it have some requisite like Spirit Fury, where you need to break 2 already dropped pal17 comments 532 views last activity

Every time I think "Yeah, this is about as terrible as you can possibly do." You always find some way to blow away my expectations. RCPD was complete garbage, then you came out with Eyrie. Eyrie was somehow worse than Cowshed, and then you surprised me with GoJ. Then you reworked Eyrie to be less survivor sided, which just made all the pallets clustered together and didn't address how many god pa4 comments 111 views last activity

God, what a garbage map. So many stacked tiles and connected loops. And that main building... who thought that was a good idea?! Who the hell is making maps these days. Please stop!5 comments 91 views last activity

Are you serious? Billy is a c-tier killer at best. Why the HELL would you nerf his addons? He needs an addon overhaul, not a nerf to a trash killer. The pay-off of having base-overheat lessened is a terrible trade-off. You could not be more tone deaf to Billy players if you tried. Is this an actual joke? You've messed up completely. Billy was in a terrible state, and now he's in a worse state. Pl30 comments 1,181 views last activity

I hope if/when there's another meta-shake up, they address how busted the current maps are. Every map in the game, except maybe a few, could use 3-4 fewer pallets. It feels like most, if not all of the maps are too big and have far too many resources. Filler pallets really ignore a lot of killer powers and neuter a lot of potential that lower-tier killers have to exist in the meta. It makes the m4 comments 51 views last activity

2 of the 5 matches I played today were Skull Merchants defending 3-gens. If I didn't Kobi on hook, it would've been a 40 minute game of 0 chases. Is this what the developers wanted when they made this killer? If they buff her weak kit, it buffs her 3 gen potential. What's my solution? Buff her chase by making her drones strong at pallets -- give her some addons basekit. And then remove the abilit5 comments 141 views last activity

Billy is in a horrible state since his rework. He is extremely weak. His power is absurdly difficult to use and each new realm rework seems to screw him over harder and harder with the amount of junk collision they keep adding. The latest culprit, Red Forest, has absurd hitboxes for damn-near everything. After the removal of SkyBilly, there's but a scant few Billy players who actually linger arou10 comments 151 views last activity

They're silly. They're useless. It doesn't hurt the lore if I want to equip a Bill charm on my hook. The killer/survivor restrictions add nothing to the game and only take away. Do away with them and it would hurt nothing.0 comments 21 views last activity

You know, like Cowshed, Rancid, Rottenfields, Thompson House, Torment Creek, Groaning, Suffocation Pit, Blood Lodge, Garden of Joy, Badham 1-5, Disturbed Ward, Father Campbell's Chapel, Ormond, Eyrie, Gideon, Shattered Square, Family Residence, Mother's Dwelling, Grim Pantry, etc. Or are we just trying to make every map egregiously favor survivor?0 comments 31 views last activity

Remove the AI from his kit. AI's implementation into DbD has been a massive failure. Nemesis' zombies were okay because they were fairly unintrusive and seldom useful. Knight's entire power being based on using AI to chase is terrible. If you use the Knight to chase, he is incredibly easy to counter-play by just holding W. If you use his power to camp a 3-gen or zone hooks, it's insanely strong12 comments 1,011 views last activity

Why is my IP address visible to people with cheat engines? I have been DoS'd twice now -- one before buying a VPN and now while using the VPN. Because I use a VPN, I just dropped the IP and got a new one instantly, but I was still knocked offline. BHVR, this is 100% a security issue for you. If someone were to SWAT me, that'd be your fault. Can't you guys nerf a perk without making it completely worthless? Look at how strong Dead Hard still is -- it's the best exhaustion in the game -- and Eruption just got completely gutted. 10% of progress repaired is worthless and not worth the time investment. I'm fine with incapacitation going away but you've completely gutted this perk. It's a terrible regression, it might even be among the wo6 comments 91 views last activity

Seriously. There hasn't been a balanced map in years. And when maps get "reworked" they hardly address the core issues. Eyrie still has too many safe pallets. Gideon is a joke. Badham Preschool still has 3 broken buildings. Shattered Square is BIGGER than Ormand. And every tile feeds into multiple filler-pallets. Garden of Joy is a complete joke. Literally one of the worst main-buildings in t1 comments 41 views last activity

Title says it all. You nerfed the size, but not the strength of the filler-pallets. There's too many safe pallets on that map and the smaller map makes them clustered. It needs another nerf.4 comments 191 views last activity

That's all. I'd just love to get a legendary skin for Billy that turns him into Ash Williams sprinting with a chainsaw. I know it'll probably not happen, but why not at least ask?2 comments 23 views last activity

I'll preface the whole thing by saying I have about 6.5k hours in the game. Most of those hours have been on killer, most of those hours have been on the Hillbilly. I play on NA West servers at nighttime, which is referred to as the "demon hours" or "juicer-hours". For those unfamiliar, it's when all the sweaty SWFs, God-tier solo-queue survivors and literal comp teams get on to destroy late-nig63 comments 1,964 views last activity

I'm a killer-main with about 6.5k hours in this game. I never, ever slug for the 4k. It takes too long, the match is already over, I've already won, an extra killer means nothing to me. I'd rather have the match end so I can leave and go to the next game. Slugging for the 4k is a big boring waste of time for everyone, and I see far too many killers do it. My proposed change is simple: when two12 comments 1,161 views last activity

One of the singular most annoying things in this game are survivors who give up on first hook because "They hate the Knight" or some other dumb reason. You've wasted the time of 4 other people because this wasn't your favorite killer to face. I understand the necessity to want to concede what is a losing match, like if you have a teammate who dies at 3 generators because a killer has 7 hooks alre15 comments 211 views last activity

It's a good chase perk, but not good enough for the perk slot. It's a c-tier/b-tier perk that could use a bit of love to be a compelling alternative to the meta. If it had built-in Undying, it would be more useful. I think more weaker hex's should have built-in undying. Like, Huntress Lullaby is practically worthless and not even a real alternative to Devour Hope. Hex's aren't meta and haven't be3 comments 31 views last activity

Slowdowns are already strong enough. Buff chase perks to be compelling alternatives to things like Eruption, CoB, PainRes/DMS, etc. Notably, Brutal Strength could use a buff because there's just too many damn pallets in this game. Survivors have too many resources.1 comments 31 views last activity

As the title reads, if you place your camera firmly into a wall, there is NO REASON why a survivor should lose collision with you and get a bang save. When the killer is picking up a survivor, if another survivor is lingering for the flashbang save, they can lose collision when the killer picks up and drop their bang, getting a killer-grasp rescue. Now that flashbangs/flashlights have all the ski10 comments 151 views last activity

I remember back when they did the MMR testing how random and chaotic the games were. It'd be fun if like, once a year, they just shut the MMR off and let the matchmaking prioritize que placement instead of MMR. Increase the BP rewards for the night, maybe make some timed exclusives. Or if they actually got The Purge license, it'd be a great tie-in. Just a random idea.5 comments 71 views last activity

Hello, everyone. The script-kiddies are back. So, I'm a streamer, and while I was trying to stream this game on Thursday night, I encountered a hacker who DoS'd me in the middle of a game, knocking me offline. I enabled some anti-DoS safety measures on my firewall after I was booted offline. I was able to get back online, but he kept DoS'ing, making me rubber-band and the game wa4 comments 311 views last activity

Tombstone piece is an addon that hasn't aged well. The ability to outright kill someone because your two dummy teammates fed Myers is incredibly boring gameplay. It's non-interactive and pretty unfair.1 comments 41 views last activity

How has the culmination of 6 years of map design lead to something as laughably one-sided as Garden of Joy? As a survivor, I hate this map because the killers get ran for 5 gens and stands no-chance. I sit on generators till the match is over. As a killer, I hate this map because, unless I'm Nurse, I've already lost. The main building is overpowered. The bottom floor has 2 god-vaults -- sometime6 comments 271 views last activity

Ghostface, a fun but often overlooked killer, got his own rift. The sets were community aggregated and all of them look stunning. There are 85 tiers, and every piece of clothing looks stellar. Adam, Ghostface, Wraith and Ace -- characters in need of new clothing, all got attention. And then they removed those horrible charm recolors that NO ONE liked, and replaced them with fairly generous BP i2 comments 21 views last activity

That main building... Oh my God. How has the map-design team learned nothing from 6 years of progress? Even if the main building was nerfed -- WHICH IT NEEDS TO BE -- there are enough filler pallets to chain all the loops together. What were they thinking? Did they any competent killers to playtest this thing? Why are those bush-hitboxes so absurd?! Why hasn't it been nerfed yet. How have your ex14 comments 381 views last activity

The main building is overpowered. The motel sign loop feeds into the surrounding tiles and can all be tied into shack. There's too many filler pallets in the middle of the street. The bushes have infuriatingly huge hitboxes that makes it impossible to hit a survivor with an M2. This map is a mess and needs to be reworked. It looks nice, at least.7 comments 21 views last activity

Hey, guys. So, I am one of the top 20 Hillbillies in the world in terms of saw downs ( https://dbd-stats.net/profile/76561198001716436 ). I have, roughly speaking, about 25k saws to my name. I got all of these saws relatively quickly, as I only started to really main Billy back in November of last year. This new update makes it impossible to stock-pile green, purple and iridescent addons. This is a big problem if you main an addon reliant killer like Hillbilly, Myers, Trapper, Freddy, etc. Weaker division killers who relied on higher quality addons are now forced to drop millions of bloodpoints into killers in an attempt to get more addons on the way from 1-50. And then once you get to the large5 comments 111 views last activity

You can't get on gens anymore. His momentum is stopped as soon as he gets a bit of air. Completely stupid decision on their part to nerf a completely benign, and insanely cool bug that the community cherished and beloved. I am genuinely angry with BHVR right now.5 comments 171 views last activity

Title pretty much says it all. I would augur 2/3rds of the maps in the game are balanced around the philosophy that even mediocre survivors can have enough resources to get a 2-man escape against a seasoned killer. With this philosophy in mind, when you get 3 or even 4 survivors who make very few -- if any mistakes -- survivors receive an abundance of resources in very large maps. Hello, everyone. I have about 4.5k hours in DbD. I recently passed 15k saw downs as Billy, and according to the DbD stats website, I am one of the top 100 Billy's in terms of saw-downs. I would make two small changes to Billy's base kit that would make him feel better to play. Firstly, Billy's base kit power is slow. Every addon combo involves some form of Doom or Death engravings. It totally screws most killers out of their power. Worse yet, the pallets leave virtually no mind-games to be had. The survivor can perfectly counter your movements because they have clear visibility of you at all times. Running the map as a survivor is literally just dropping as many god-pallets as you can. And the map is completely busted if the survivors bring Dead Hard. The fact that this is2 comments 131 views last activity

Title pretty much says it all. As a killer, anytime I spawn into The Game, Haddonfield, Cowshed, Ormond, Springwood -- I know I've lost the game. And then other maps like Crotus Penn, Mother's Dwelling, Coldwind, Backwater, I have to wait and see how hard I've been screwed with RNG. If DbD is a competitive game and MMR is here to stay then there needs to be a serious overhaul to the maps. Generat12 comments 201 views last activity

A killer main's thoughts on the state of solo-que survivor, game balance and the health of the game.Hey, Dead by Daylight. So, a little about me, I'm a rank 1 killer/survivor. I have a little over 2k hours in this game and I'm currently at about devotion rank 7, almost 8. I would consider myself a killer main, with most of those 2k hours, 80% have been killer. I currently have only 2 killers left to P3. I'd like to consider myself to be a decent, fair killer -- with the amount of hours I've pl56 comments 1,351 views last activity
