I remember back when they did the MMR testing how random and chaotic the games were. It'd be fun if like, once a year, they just shut the MMR off and let the matchmaking prioritize que placement instead of MMR. Increase the BP rewards for the night, maybe make some timed exclusives. Or if they actually got The Purge license, it'd be a great tie-in. Just a random idea.

    Don’t forget to disable DC penalties as well.

    Funny thing is, matchmaking already priorities short queue times over fair matchmaking. That combined with MMR already flawed because it’s only really considering escapes/kills and not gameplay at all makes it already messy and almost as random as old Rank based matchmaking

    Pretty sure the mmr changes went live and the number of survivors that escape now also factor into it.

    Even then it needs way more time to settle. I think they even said SWF groups are now included in calculations?

    still needs way more improvements tbh.
