I just recently reinstalled the game after taking a year long break from it. I am on a new computer and I even tried to turn off my firewall just to test. Unfortunately nothing fixed this error from popping up at the start of the game. I know there are a lot of posts about it but I never saw any fixes. I like a lot of other players have slowly stopped playing DBD just because of how many times ive come across someone using some form of a cheat in the game. Its a pain to code out i know especially when you have either sloppy code or too many lines to sift through to find it. I want to suggest a challenge to you all this is for killers as well as survivors. Spend a day playing where you wear the absolutely most bright and stand outish outfits imaginable so the killer cant just ignore you blending into the fog. What exactly would you want it to be Chucky, a mannequin, a voodoo doll? i could list a bunch of ideas i just always hated some of those evil looking dolls that just scream IM Possessed. This idea would have to be handled perfectly otherwise it could become abused but we all know that killers are certain ranks are rather lackluster if they arent one of the top 3. Lately ive been playing a lot of Overwatch and while i know its a completly different game it does have something that could potentially work for dbd and that is timed ultimate form abilities. There are way too many chinese vpn users in your game now and they are using this as a boost to their account. I am in Southern cali and even tho the servers are dedicated my frame rate drops whenever I am close to either a survivor or killer using this tactic. I need work at healing better and feel as tho out of all the badges altruism is the one I lack the most in. Currently my build is the following: (Autodidact - Bite the bullet - Botany knowledge - Empathetic connection) and a medkit with speed addons or charge ones. Its honestly making the game unplayable and its happening more and more. I keep seeing Chinese players who are most likely using a vpn to tunnel to the us and anytime you are near these players your framerate and lag just increase. I know cursed seeds are old and ive had them sitting in my characters inventories for a year and presting used to be a way to remove items you couldnt use anymore. We used to be able to control the darkness like that before they were replaced with fog offerings. People complained about it and then every match was filled with Blendettes utilizing their cloaking ability. What 2 killers would you pick and why? For the sake of the topic lets not worry about addons but just their powers if we see the conversation going the right direction maybe we talk about them too. So I play both sides and I realize boons have tipped the scale slightly into the favor of survivors changing killers into often what seems to be a dog chasing a bone. This isnt always too big of an issue for high mobility killers who can often make up for it with a minor cd. So I havent played blight in about a week and you all know you can get rusty really fast on him. My first game was obviously on the game and usually with so many corners and tight walkways youd love it but it is also way to easy to be juked on that map. Id rather it be Terminator than FNAF as terminator is much more intimidating as a threat than some 10yo broken down amusment park. Yes i know Terminator wasnt a horror franchise but neither was stranger things but they both had horror elements. I am just curious to ideas theyve thrown out and the only one ive ever heard of was The Smasher. It be interesting to see where they felt they couldnt go or ideas they tossed out in favor of more manageable concepts. In case your not aware its called the ricochet system i think and its a system that detects if your using a cheat and then makes it impossible to kill anyone or do any objectives. They are not banning players just keeping the flag on your account and it seems like a good idea to think about for dbd. I am currently running Breakdown breakout resurgence saboteur with a alex and speed adddns. As long as you tell your team to avoid the basement it is soo much fun to run with. The idea is simple each person has to give a KILLER NAME and the next person posting has to describe the previous posters killers power and 3 perks and then give a new killer name. With stranger things now gone we have no monster type chars there are so many to pull from and granted i realize its probably a lot harder to balance especially if they dont walk on 2 legs. Because i just had a game that was going fine as far as i knew killer just hooked a guy and i ran to a gen to start working on it. All of a sudden the match ended and a msg popped up saying that so and so dced before the trial started but i still got the few bp from what i was able to do and the killer was like ######### happened. A player mightve touched starts to explode like they missed skill checks I unfortunately didnt record my game so i cant report it even tho i wasnt the only one seeing it. The entire map was exploding 5 min into the game and the player that was doing it was floating. Do you guys think by adding Alternate Killer Playstyles it would make the game a bit more difficult?What i mean by this is a few killers have iri addons that completely change how they are played. Such as Trapper iri stone, mint rag hag, and myers fragrant tuft . I just feel like some killers dont recieve a different enough play style with their iri addons and it would definately keep it more interesting if every killer had one at minimum.
