For some reason, when I equip Jonah's "Logical Love" cosmetic set, it changes the usual menu music to another tune, a heavy and dark music track that I don't recognize. I'm pretty sure this is a bug, it didn't do this before, and a Valentine's Day cosmetic doesn't seem like a reason to make the music spooky.0 comments 11 views last activity

Hex: Grim Embrace When you hook a survivor for the first time, gain 1 token. Upon gaining 4 tokens, a Dull Totem is transformed into a Hex Totem and Hex: Grim Embrace activates. When Hex: Grim Embrace is activated, all generators are blocked for 120 seconds. Once 120 seconds have passed, Hex: Grim Embrace deactivates permanently. The Hex Totem uses the same function as NOED, revealing its aura3 comments 81 views last activity

I had a survivor match against a Trapper on the Shelter Woods map. Throughout the entire match, there was no Terror Radius music. No music while being within the TR, and no music while being in chase. The only audio cue I had was the heartbeat sound effect, which worked normally. I don't know what caused it, and this is the only time it's happened so far.0 comments 1 views last activity

A respected and fondly-remembered horror game series that just got a positively-received sequel this year, featuring a distinctive and recognizable protagonist kidnapped from his reality, struggling to escape a hellish dimension of darkness ruled by an evil god that repeatedly attempts to torment him, frequently sending killers to hunt him down that he must fend off with flashlights. My suggestion is to add a new functionality to Insidious: The killer begins the trial Undetectable. Much like how Corrupt Intervention and Lethal Pursuer are roundstart perks, this would work in a similar way. The question is, for how long should it last and should it have any conditions? I have three ideas for that: The Undetectable lasts for a time limit, preferably something like 30 ~ 60 se0 comments 11 views last activity

Make it function more like Guardian but with pick-ups. They see the killer's aura and are given Haste to run away from them faster. It even fits the perk's name better. We're Gonna Live Forever and Made For This are already healing-based Endurance perks, we don't need a third one, especially one that overshadows WGLF as strongly as it does now. We don't need perks that are just better/worse vers10 comments 111 views last activity

Some killers have add-ons that let them see the progress on generators. I think this would be an interesting feature to also add to Visionary, where the auras of generators are colored lighter or brighter depending on their completion progress. It adds more info to a somewhat limited info perk, especially since Deja Vu overshadows it these days.3 comments 41 views last activity

Events should be a fun and casual time for everyone, in my opinion, so I'm glad the Event Tome challenges aren't anything too difficult. Archive Tomes are fine being tough sometimes because they can be done at any time, but Events are Events and don't last that long. Especially since we have this new system of requiring to do all the challenges to earn all the special currency to buy all the rewa0 comments 21 views last activity

Had my first game against this since the Anti-Facecamp feature. Ended up on hook with him staring at me, waiting for the bar to fill up so I'd unhook myself and he'd Tombstone Mori me. But I didn't play along and instead let myself die on hook, so he got mad and started hitting me over and over and over. The anti-facecamp feature is nice but it does nothing against this, and is just further evid8 comments 361 views last activity

Ripley's silent running perk gave me an idea. Could we add silent footsteps to Self-Perservation's effect as well? Considering its trigger condition requires being in close proximity to the killer, I think this would add some valuable utility to a rarely-used perk. I'd also like to see its range and/or duration increased slightly as well.0 comments 12 views last activity

I would like to see these ideas implemented into Trapper's basekit: All Bear Traps spawn on the map already armed. Survivors cannot escape Bear Traps on their first attempt. Survivors are inflicted with Hindered for a short time after being freed from a Bear Trap.3 comments 31 views last activity

Do these perks really need to be completely mapwide? Any Means Necessary functions as a mini Windows of Opportunity with unlimited range on top of the pallet resetting function, which can make tracking the killer's movements easy just by watching for pallets being dropped elsewhere. Meanwhile, Alert can give away the killer and their position at the start of the match just by them kicking a wall5 comments 91 views last activity

Still can't see player prestige in the pre-match lobby. I know this was disabled as part of some experiment, but I've noticed it's been re-enabled on PC but not on Switch. Please correct this.0 comments 11 views last activity

I think it's time to give the Offerings Screen a visual overhaul. The screen should display the survivors going into the match, the usernames of the players, and the offerings they're each taking in. The killer remains hidden but their username and offering is displayed too, so that every survivor in the match knows who's brought what. If there's concern about killers tunneling out survivors who0 comments 11 views last activity

You made a whole cosmetic collection based on Nordic clothing, and you didn't include the one Nordic guy in the game? Seriously?5 comments 51 views last activity

Make them the same pink that survivors see the killer's aura in. This would make them easier to see when their auras are revealed against the red generator and hex totem auras. No other auras for the killer are pink so it would minimize confusion and increase visual clarity for an important game mechanic.3 comments 51 views last activity

Kinship: When a Generator is completed while you are on a hook, the Sacrifice Process is slowed by 50% until you are unhooked. This perk deactivates once the Exit Gates are powered. The intent of this is to punish a killer for camping instead of pressuring the other survivors on generators. If the killer just sits there doing nothing, other survivors doing generators would keep the killer wait24 comments 321 views last activity

The new sausage cook outfit for Clown partially clips into the killer's camera while walking, blocking his view during play. It happens every match I have it equipped. I think it's the body cosmetic that does it, as I don't remember the head cosmetic doing it when I equipped it alone.0 comments 11 views last activity

Why do you keep making these? Does no one on the team play Wraith and therefore realize how hard it is to see when your weapon is blocking the entire right side of the screen? For clarity, this is about the Wraith's skin in the current Rift. It looks neat, but that weapon is like nerfing yourself with how much you're blinding your FOV with it equipped.5 comments 151 views last activity

This game isn't fun at 15 FPS. Skill checks where you see the arrow for all of 6 frames. Getting disoriented because the game randomly framedrops to 3 in the middle of a chase. And of course, every single texture in the game takes a good 5 to 10 seconds to pop in correctly, not to mention how polygon count drops as soon as you're 2 feet away from anything. And it just gets worse with every patch2 comments 51 views last activity

I'd love to see them add a Hadley's Hope map, and a playable Corporal Hicks or Private Hudson. Though I don't think they could add a second xenomorph killer, so it'd be more like a half-chapter, which would be fine by me. They did pretty good with the Nostromo map and its mix of indoors and outdoors, and I'd want the same for the colony map: more creepy hallways in abandoned buildings and desolat0 comments 31 views last activity

Since DbD is collaborating with musicians like Iron Maiden and Slipknot, I think it would be interesting for BHVR to consider the synthwave/darkwave artist Carpenter Brut as another candidate to create a promotional collaboration with. He's recently put out singles and an album inspired by the slasher genre that revolves around a slasher villain of his own creation, Leather Teeth, that I think wo0 comments 11 views last activity

A robot killer whose power is setting up surveillance cameras and using them to jumpscare survivors out of nowhere! They even included the backstory where he got set on fire but came back! Great job BHVR, this is a great translation of FNAF's mechanics into the style of Dead by Daylight! Freddy Fazbear looks kind of weird though, I'm not sure he looks like a bear at all, and I have no idea who t28 comments 5,081 views last activity

It made sense for RPD because Resident Evil used yellow marks as signposts in the environment so it matched its source material, but then you started doing it on new maps (Garden of Joy, Toba Landing), and then reworking old maps and using it there too (Haddonfield, Red Forest, Shelter Woods). The only recent exception was Shattered Borgo, which does its own thing and that's good. The yellow tape7 comments 141 views last activity

Mending is not fun, it's people's biggest problem with Legion, and I think it's unhealthy game design to include features that force survivors to do even more of it. It should be standardized across the entire game. Add-ons that make it last one or two seconds longer are just annoying and obnoxious, I doubt they actually have that much of a meaningful impact on the match. As far as I know, the o7 comments 101 views last activity

The Skull Merchant has a lot of intentions in her design: information-gathering, stealth, stalking, etc. As far as I can tell, she's supposed to be an intelligent killer that survivors can't see coming until it's too late. But she doesn't really feel like that. I'm not sure what she feels like, to be honest with you. Her stealth is weak on most maps, her tracking can often be useless, and even wi0 comments 11 views last activity

Many people have said that DbD needs a new objective other than generators in order to make the pace of the game more manageable in the face of coordinated survivors who hammer out gen repairs as fast as possible. My suggestion for this: require the exit gates to be repaired before they can be powered and opened. This could be repairing a fusebox, a gearbox, a junction, whatever. However, becaus17 comments 162 views last activity

Homogenizing the medkits was a necessary step in nerfing them down to a more manageable level, so we can start tweaking things again from this new starting point. My first suggestion is to tweak the heal speeds to be a little further apart so that the medkit rarities mean something again. Brown Medkit: +15% heal speed, smaller skillcheck success zones Yellow Medkit: +30% heal speed Green Medk26 comments 341 views last activity

It was already bad, but now it's really bad. The game can barely animate half the time, everything is choppy, sudden frame dips are common, and the graphics definitely aren't any better either. I don't know what you did with this version but it's disappointing to see.1 comments 21 views last activity

BHVR seems to have a good relationship with Capcom at this point, so I think it would be a great movie to include their other zombie-fighting horror game protagonist, Frank West from the Dead Rising series. He's a popular and fondly remembered character, enough so that he got into the widely beloved Marvel Vs. Capcom fighting games just like Chris and Jill did. Unlike them, he's also still a regu0 comments 21 views last activity

The remake did a lot to make those characters more endearing to the fans, and they'd fit perfectly fine into DbD. It'd be a solid tie-in to bank on the success of the remake's release.1 comments 21 views last activity

Gearhead: Good change, but I think it still needs either an audio indicator, highlighting the generator in yellow, or both to be an effective info perk. Many people complain red survivor auras on red generator auras is too hard to see. Overzealous: Fine, but I'm uncertain if it will make people start using it. Pain Resonance: I'm not sure this needed nerfing but it did have potential for big ge0 comments 11 views last activity

As more and more characters are added to the game, the grind for Iridescent Shards to unlock them has become absolutely absurd. If you're a new player on PC starting with only the basic characters, it would take you upwards of 300,000+ Shards to unlock all the non-licensed characters. That is insanity, and it's time BHVR starts mitigating that grind. So I suggest that players receive Shards in1 comments 31 views last activity

Amanda's Letter lowers the Pig's number of RBTs by 2, but I think it should instead extend the timer of active RBTs by an additional 60 seconds. This still significantly reduces the pressure of her RBTs but doesn't nullify it as much as just taking them away from her does.0 comments 11 views last activity

Since this is going to be a part of Skull Merchant's power in the next update, it should receive its own unique audio and visual cues to solidify it as her kit, instead of just reusing Dissolution's visuals like it does now. it could be anything, like a flash of electricity and a bang as the trap explodes and the pallet shatters It doesn't have to be much, it just needs to be unique to the Skull0 comments 1 views last activity

Skully got the Clown/Plague treatment of borrowing another killer's realm instead of receiving their own, but what if BHVR had given her her own realm? Personally I would have liked to see something set in the Brazilian jungles, perhaps with a military-style compound in the center of it much like the Shelter Woods building is now, but a little larger. The map could be set at a daytime hour but st11 comments 181 views last activity

I play Switch, and Haddonfield is unplayable now. It runs at 20 FPS at most, maybe less, and it makes the game horrible to play. It wasn't like this before, either. Now hitting skill checks is way harder and that's just as survivor, playing killer like this would be truly abysmal. I don't know what you did but this is awful and dealing with maps running this badly is a good reason to quit this ga0 comments 11 views last activity

In the same way that a survivor gets a 1000 BP for dying as the Obsession, I think there should be a similar bonus for being killed via a killer's Mori offering, or Devour Hope, or the killer-specific deaths like Myers' Tombstone add-ons or Pyramid Head and Sadako's powers. Consider it a small consolation for dying with no chance of rescue, while adding a little fun to it; some people can get ups0 comments 11 views last activity

Game Afoot, in addition to the 5% Haste after kicking an object while chasing the Obsession, should also have a 10% kicking speed boost while in chase. I'm not sure whether or not it should still be limited to chasing the Obsession or not, but I think it would give the perk some additional utility and further emphasize it as a perk for relentless pursuit of a target.0 comments 1 views last activity

Currently, Leverage debuffs survivor healing speeds for 30 seconds after a survivor is hooked. I suggest a change: Leverage activates upon a survivor being hooked, and remains active indefinitely while any survivor remains hooked, and continues to remain active for 30 seconds after the last hooked survivor is either unhooked or sacrificed. Basically, Leverage is always active while any survivo5 comments 41 views last activity

I had a small and simple idea: if a survivor is Locked On and visible on the Skull Merchant's radar due to either being in a drone's detection radius or wearing a Claw Trap, their dot should appear red on the radar instead of white to distinguish them from any other survivors on the radar and make it easier to track the most vulnerable survivors. Maybe the dot should maintain a white outline to i2 comments 41 views last activity
