First off, I’m struggling to understand why there is so much dead time between rifts. The current one ends on January 5th, but leaks say the next one doesn’t start until early February. Then that one ends mid-April. I thought the original plan was for rifts to last a full 12-13 weeks? Why can we not just let a rift ride out until the next one releases? My husband and I each have our own Xbox and we play this game together multiple times a week. After the new patch, it won’t let us join each other’s lobbies. Let me add, briefly, that A) we just moved and had to get new ISP (but didn’t have this issue the couple days leading up to the update) and B) Xbox had a new firmware update around the same time as the game update. Have every character start with their 3 unique perks at Tier 3 and universal perks (for killer, for example, this would mean Spies from the Shadows, Sloppy Butcher, etc.) at Tier 1 (maybe Tier 3 down the road as more content gets added). Now that we have so many perks (presumably with tons more to come), can we get them alphabetized in the inventory regardless of rarity/tier? It would make finding things so much easier. So a few days after the new matchmaking system, lobbies started taking ages. They reverted to the old one for a day or two, back to insta lobbies. Back to new one, back to infinite waiting times. This whole thing is so frustrating. I just want to play. Is anyone else having my issue, or does everyone find the waiting times better with the new system? Please know before I get into anything that I don’t complain about this game much. I love this game, and I appreciate the work the goes into it. But the current states of the ranking and matchmaking systems are completely broken. When I play killer, I get a whole team at red ranks. She kept vaulting the window even though I heard and saw the entity close it off a few times. Someone on Reddit said they saw evidence in the game files that charity case may be coming to consoles after all. He said the placeholder codes have been replaced with actual store codes now. I know there is an issue with console companies wanting a cut when the profits are all supposed to go to charity. But was the possibility ever discussed of raising the price to make sure the same amount goes to charity while letting Sony and MS take their share? Which they don’t need, obviously. I'll preface this by saying I'm a survivor main, but I play both sides. I am Rank 1 survivor and Rank 5 killer. I see a lot of survivor mains being pissed about the additional objectives, but I have actually enjoyed having something else to do during the match.
