Charity Case on Console Logistics

I know there is an issue with console companies wanting a cut when the profits are all supposed to go to charity. But was the possibility ever discussed of raising the price to make sure the same amount goes to charity while letting Sony and MS take their share? Which they don’t need, obviously. But I know a lot of us would not mind paying a larger amount to ensure the proper amount goes where it should.
