Okay I'm officially convinced this is an underground survivor main movement to get the devs to buff survivors and nerf killers.
KILLER IS NOT EASY, SURVIVOR IS.
-
Completely and utterly OP, EVERYONE would pick this survivor and killers would dodge lobbies full of them.
Not to meation would break the game since everyone would run these perks along side of DS and other OP perks.
-
@HatCreature said:
So being in a chase or using add-ons will increase their Fear and slow them down and also reduce their stun time against IT. If he chases the entire team then they are all weaker against him, spreading the Fear around and limiting their power. If they work together as a team their power over him grows because their Fear goes down.
Now in theory this would be awesome against SWF, if they're all afraid then flashlight saves, pallet stuns, and hook sabos will still have an effect but it won't be that powerful against him.
But that is only what he is good for.
This Pennywise has no map pressure and is only good in loops and against try-hard teams which is good but because he has no map pressure then these teams will not resort to those tactics and that makes him weak. This Killer actually encourages Gen rush and teaming on Gens because it makes Pennywise less powerful. Sure he is good in a chase because the Survivor only has pallets in a chase and those pallets won't be protecting them for very long but because IT has no map pressure then the Gens will fly and Pennywise won't have enough time to make the others afraid enough to be weak against him.
All in all, this perfectly fits the character lol he is powerful against 1 Survivor but when they team up they have no fear of him and he is weak. I do love the concept though, this is really cool.
They gen rush regardless... so imo there is no drawback to this at all but meh.

-Game is the most balanced its EVER been...
-Survivor mains complain that killers are OP or that they are getting nerfed too hard even though they are still pretty OP...

I run it because I play distraction. I bring a flashlight so I don't really use medkits and I don't want my team wasting time healing me either. That said, I also run adrenaline, balanced landing and spine chill so I guess bad killers would call me toxic. If you don't want to be toxic, don't run sc or any other perk. If you want to play a game where you take tons of hits, SC is fine for that.
GOOD KILLERS would call you toxic. For starters, your running Adrenawin(an OP perk with ZERO downsides) and secondly if your playing Flashlight Jesus, you're most likely stunning killers during a pickup when they are framelocked and unable to dodge the stun.
As I have said in the past, the only reason the ability to flightlight stun killers during a pickup hasn't been patched out yet is due to the inevitable survior main outrage that would follow since it would render the flashlight USELESS. And if one minor change renders an item useless...then maybe the devs should rethink the uses for the Flashlight period.
-
Survivors who get downed by a Billy without addons are just bad period.
-
Nothing. You're doing nothing wrong, its called lag/latency. Something that will(hopefully)be fixed with the addition of dedicated servers.
-
He's a bigger joke than he was before the PTB nerf, I could at least keep up with a survivor in a pallet loop and get one hit, now there is literally NOT DIFFERENCE. Frenzy or not they will keep on pallet looping me.
In fact, I DON'T EVEN WANT TO USE FRENZY while in a chase with a pallet because the moment frenzy ends with them looping me, they gain a HUGE distance advantage.
Legion has gone from bad to A COMPLETE AND UTTER JOKE with this patch update and the worst part is the devs don't care and won't listen to us more experienced players in later ranks because they NEVER MAKE IT PAST RANK 15 and think that the low ranks are the ONLY RANKS THAT COUNT.
-
I frequently play every killer and also the Nurse and so i know how powerful she can be, but it really gets stupid when she brings addons, especially range and multible blnks Just faced another Nurse with 4 Blinks + Range, one 5 Blink Nurse and a Megablink.
-
A mori is good for one thing: Crippling a survivor team. If you know one survivor is particularly good as evading you and you manged to catch and hook them, you don't want to give them a chance to get away again.
Another good use for Mori is the mid-game when 2 or more gens are done, axe off one survivor you hooked right away and that's one less to worry about doing gens.
Mori's aren't meant(at least with the current emblem system) to be spammed after one hook, you hook them twice, THEN mori them for max BP and emblem points.
-
Freddy is already a joke to begin with and once this PTB goes live, so will Legion.
-
Fun Fact: SWF wasn't even supposed to be an intended feature! It was added(hastily might I add!) due to the playerbase being so small and demanding the ability to play with their friends in a party.
It's why when the host disconnects, you don't remain in the same party and have to remake a SWF lobby.
The reason why it wasn't apart of the original game at launch is because the devs KNEW of the unfair advantages this would bring but added it to attract new players with the prospect of their pals being on voice chat with them if they were a new player and helping them learn the ropes.
And of course, once added, would be a bad PR move to remove so they had no choice but to keep it in despite it going against their original vision for the game.
-
Ruin, and pray to god the RNG places it in a well hidden location so it can do its job.
Spoiler warning: Most of the the time it won't.
-
Let's be honest, everybody, who knows only a little bit the Game have always Selfcare in their perk built but how about making it as a Ability for everyone and not a Perk?
This is the worst idea I have EVER heard, if this became a thing, killers would be forced to chase a survivor down until they downed them or resolve to never get them on a hook.
-
Every flail should count as a full attempt to escape.
Your preaching to the choir sadly my friend. These survivor mains will defend this BS till the day this game dies. They KNOW what flailing on the hook means and they also know it COMPLETELY NEGATES any possibility to bait unwitting survivors into a save.
So as long as they know this is yet another OP advantage they have over the killer, they will defend it.
-
@RakimSockem said:
LOL. So ignoring the bs about the game being survivor favored (statistics show that most matches end with a killer getting 3ks or 4ks)
Did I just hear a killer main complain about BODY BLOCKING??? lololololol
Hmmm, at least you have a way of moving someone who is body blocking you. Unlike hmmmm, a survivor trying to escape a basement while the killer stands on the staircase and somehow blocks the entire thing. Or a Wraith who traps you in a corner when there's 5 gens left and refuses to move until all the gens are done because they want a free NOED kill (luckily my team broke all the totems). Stop crying, hit the person, and follow their bloodtrail.
Nothing but people who don't get it or morons who think they are entitled to escape just because their pal exploits the killer's cone of vision.
-
Will there be future perks specifically geared towards being used in the "End Game Collapse"?

Did you read past the first 8 words?
Did I EVER MENTION the phrase "carrying them to the hook"? NO! I'm talking about chasing a survivor!
-
@Mc_Harty said:
Iron Grasp and Mad Grit exists...
Did you EVEN READ my post? This has NOTHING TO DO WITH carrying a survivor to the hook.
-
@Trikset said:
Just another boringly predictable one sided killer buff, essentially a free Noed. Like the game needs more easy wins handed to killers.
By god, if you think killers are OP or that survivors are weak, then you must be new to the game still...
-
@darktrix said:
Just trap people in the basement - wait out the timer.
That's reportable and not to mention a bannable offense. Bodyblocking I believe it is called.
-
@not_Queef said:
They will probably make it so that the endgame timer is paused while Blood Warden is active.
Otherwise there would be scenarios in which survivors would have no choice but to die, which would be terrible game design.
No, THAT would be terrible game design. Pausing the timer because a killer played smart and punished survivors for hanging around too long with a timer going would be a VERY BAD choice for the developers.
-
@Andreyu44 said:
Ehm...BW....weak? When,what,where?
Blood warden was weak due to the fact that even if the exit gates were blocked, a survivor could just pallet loop you for that 60 seconds making it rather pointless but with end game collapse, that 60 seconds suddenly becomes a death sentence if its activated with less than a min remaining. :3
-
Can you imagine a little under 1min remaining as a SWF rushes to save their pal, you down one, and hook them, the remaining survivors go:
and run for the exit only:
*insert kefka laugh and dramatic horror music here*
I can see a mass rage quit happening everytime this happens. XD
-
CALLED IT!
I'd like a link to said proof for starters and if it is in fact true I can only do this and groan: -

I have 2,2 k hours in DBD mate and I do play both sides. I am not biased but the fact is killers do make a lot of mistakes in a chase which causes the chase to be much longer than it should be. Also if you have a survivor abusing semi-infinite do not be a tool and leave him, there are 4 survivors you know. It's not survivor's fault you are being stupid and dragged though an infinite like a good puppy following a bone.
Oh yes, because I have COMPLETE AND UTTER CONTROL where the survivor runs to during a chase... I only know of 2 killers who can actively dictate the direction of a chase, Clown and Nurse and even that control is limited to how much they can use their powers.
If a survivor knows where a pseudo infinite is, they will ALWAYS attempt to run in that direction. Sure you can try to cut them off but they will do everything in their power to get over to it and if you can't stop them before they get there, you've already lost the chase.
This isn't including how much they pallet loop you prior. I have seen it a countless amount of times, a survivor running a killer into a pallet loop then into the pseudo infinite nearby to avoid being cutoff from getting to it.

Bamboozle is also not required - learn how to deal with tiles as killer. Not my fault you lack skill and knowledge so the only thing you can do is press W while chasing someone. I suggest watching some youtube tutorials from great killer mains about looping structures and how to deal with them and practice, practice, practice. Killer side should have some skill involved, the game is already holding your hand too much.
Ya know, i get the feeling even if i showed you a video of a survivor using a pseudo infinite, you'd STILL try to say that I'm just an unskilled killer so I'm not going to bother arguing this one.
btw: Your survivor main bias is showing.

@[Deleted User] said:

Infinites are not a thing anymore and killers have bamboozle. It's not my fault killers can't deal with loopers properly or jungle gyms. There is a looping strategu to every tile when you play killer and it is not impossible to catch a survivor. Git gud.
So what your saying is, if a killer doesn't run bamboozle, they suck.
Love that one-sided logic ya got going there.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
So basicly when the game demands some amount of skill from the killer side it's an outcry. Wow, it's precious how you guys defend your precious Legion cheese mechanics to abuse as you see fit. I'm for once am glad the devs see reason and will not cater to crybabies anymore.
I'd love to know how getting ran through a pseudo infinite requires skill to catch said survivor. If you read my thread(and I'm wondering if you actully did atm) you'd see that when a survivor runs one of these pseudo infinites, catching them becomes impossible. No matter how you change up the chase, once inside a pseudo infinite, you will NEVER catch them.
-
@RoKrueger said:
If the killer goes down, you go down with them ;-)
damn straight. Survivors don't deserve to escape if they're being toxic little asshats.
-
So get this, playing survivor and I happen to bring an alex's toolbox and its against Freddy... yeah you know where this is going. It SHOULD OF BEEN Freddy's own personal nightmare and would have been...if my team wasn't a bunch of idiots who go "OH GAWD! IT'S OP FREDDY! RUN AROUND LIKE MORONS OR D/C!"
A game that should of turned an already laughable killer into an absolute joke became a 4k with zero gens done after 5mins had past and only one done by the time the last one(me) was sac'd.
-
@GodDamn_Angela said:
Playing survivor is easy mode. Especially if you are going for Adept achievements.
Agreed. The only survivor who doesn't know how OP they are is a new survivor.

-
If I stab you through a window or over a ledge with a sharp object irl before you can react, even if you've just jumped through it, its going to stab you. The same logic applies here.
-
I think this is a major flaw in the games ranking system, no one should lose rank because the killer quits.
A good killer only ragequits when the survivors are being toxic as hell.(aka:bullying them)
so if your above rank 14 then odds are you or your teammates are being toxic to the killer.
-
For me, a 3-man game became a 1-man game within 30 seconds of the match starting. Instead of downing and hooking him, we non-verbally agreed to just farm points.
Honestly, in most cases, I've dealt with so many toxic asshats as killer in any given day that i feel zero sympathy for most survivors in these situations but lucky for them, my day had just started so I was feeling generous.

Hex: Devour hope is better at 5 stacks than Lullaby, hence why no one uses Lullaby, It' one of those perks that got powercreeped, Good rework to make Lullaby more competitive, but good luck getting them to rework killer perks. Huntress perks in general could use some love, like what's the point of Beast of prey and Territorial Imperative anyway.
Believe it or not, even seasoned survivors rely on that bloodstain so they know when to pop dead hard or if they should vault. If they can't see it, it means they have to guess when a killer is within melee range and trust me, that range is VERY DECEPTIVE. A lunge can close a gap just enough to smack a survivor BARELY within range of their hitbox enough that it registers a hit.
It's also GREAT when in a chase around a jungle gym since they rely HEAVILY on seeing that bloodstain through walls to know if they should run back, keep looping, or vault. I've caught many a survivor off-guard because I hit bloodlust tier 1 backtracked on a loop and smacked them as they were making a turn to continue the loop!
-
I like this! It still retains its weakness and punishes survivors for not cleansing totems!
The only issue here is that this perk would instantly make any hex totem you have a target meaning you had better move fast or risk losing a hex instead of one of your lullaby totems.
-
The pipping system is broken as ######### anyways, rank even 15 asks for TOO MUCH from killers.

There's this little thing called a TERROR RADIUS that prevents killers from blending in and smacking you as you walk by them. Perhaps you've heard of it? It's the loud thumping noise accompanied by LOUD MUSIC that plays the closer you get to the killer.
