The problem is that players and people in general dont know what they actually want. Just because you think you want something does not mean that it is a fact. On top of that, most people are not aware of cause and effect.
Here is a simple example: I used to play a game years ago where loot was very rare but people played it to death. But they spammed the forum with "buff the loot" for ages. After a while the devs gave in and buffed the loot so everybody got what they wanted.
After they had what they wanted, people stoped playing and / or complained that the game is boring now. The game died within months (after it was alive for years)
Was this the fault of the people? No, it was the devs fault by not beeing aware of the #1 game developer rule. Listen to yourself, the publisher and the audience and figure out what they REALLY want instead just doing what they think and say they want.

You can curve and even mindgames are possible. The guy who plays billy in the video is obviously like everyone else not used to the new mechanic, but he already gets some nice curves and some good chainsaw hits.

I play survivor and killer mostly equally, but prefer killer. I am a huge fan of the original Texas chainsaw massacre for over 20 years so obviously main Leatherface.
After 3 years of playing, I've come to a point where literally 90 percent of my matches I find myself finding a corner to stand in so survivors can get some points so the match feels worthwhile to them.
In response to the hate mssgs I received when the game was new to me, I've learned what not to do (tunnel, camp, plank ppl for no reason, etc.) Playing survivor helped me also as I never do as killer what I hate being done to me as survivor.
This is my point I guess, I can come out of a match with 60-100k on average without actually killing anyone (I run BBQ, discordance, gearhead, and beast of prey.) And I feel good that everyone got a lot of points and had fun. I like playing games w survivors to make it interesting and have got nothing but good feedback from matches in the last couple years..
So question.. am I the only one that gets it? Cuz I'm sick to my stomach with the way killers play/act. It's attrocious the things ppl do "because they can"
Wake up killers, your not only hurting your own score by playing with no concience, keep in mind that NOBODY likes getting 3k points a match. It doesn't make you good friend, and karma will get you.

I just want fair and fun games, on both sides. I try my best to completly avoid tunneling and i never camp, no matter what happens in the game. But i give my best as killer and survivor to have a challanging experience.

Comparing to other people. That means, even if i might be a good Bubba does not mean its auto win because of that. I just think i am better then most who are around. Said that, i compare myself with other rank 1 killers of course.
Have not tried Pyramid Head yet, to busy with other stuff. I will tho very soon.
I tried Deathslinger, but i despise him with all my heart. I dont want to see other survivor suffer under his presence.

Can we please finally stop using True as a reverence for "good killers"? Especially when its about Hillbilly. I dont want to be rude and no offense to anybody but he is not a fantastic killer and especially not a good hillbilly. If he looses its very likely because he was just playing bad, at least what i have seen from him. I would be okay with a mini buff like +1 Trap and +1 Trap he can carry on default, but all of his traps? Absolutly nono. This would make him insanly strong and yes.. overwhelming. The Trapper is not nearly as bad as some think he is, he has a very solid killratio on any level and can snowball better then most other killers. He does not need a monsterbuff like this.

Its genrush vs killrush, and that is just the most aweful design i can possible think off. Genrush is boring, and his chase is without any counterplay. Horrible, reminds me of old legion.

Best perks looping (DH, Spine Chill and Irion Will), good for information (Spine Chill), extra speed (Spine chill), less noise (Iron Will), untouchable after unhooked (DS), Stealth (Iron Will)... gl topping this combo.

Is it really that bad? I always thought Billy was in a very good state if they just nerfed his charge and movementspeed addons a little bit. But i can at least understand why they do it - not so experienced players hate versing billy. But i am not sure if those changes will help especially the new players.
I guess Freddy is next. At least with that killer, i think he deserves a nerf, because he is on top of his power also extremly easy to play (compared to Billy or Nurse especially)

I dont think Developers will risk loosing a big part of their playerbase with stuff like this. Personally i also would not want to see people leave, for the sake of queuetime or matchmaking in general. It is what it is, SWF will probably stay the way it is right now, if you like it or not.

This is not about longer or shorter time to complete a generator, its about how to prevent early game genrush and in compensation give survivors faster repairspeed for late game, where they begin to struggle.
The core problem of DbD frustration (for BOTH sides) is exactly this topic. Killer complaining that gens fly early vs survivors complain they can not complete last generator(s).

Base gen speed is 80 seconds regardless of what point in the match your in. Thats a fact.
Thats all true, but 80 seconds is just a number, which means not very much in DbD. Like i said, in the early its easy to complete generators for obvious reasons and its much harder to do the same when there are only 3 gens (and maybe even only 2-3 survivors left).
Its crucial to think off an idea how to ballance early and late game without touching the games core concept. Whe should also stop denying that there is no significant difference between those phases. Some changes WILL come in the future, its on us to find solutions and give devs our input, since they will implement something.
Another okayish idea i found is this one by Scott Jund. Unfortunatly it has more flaws like only benefiting the killer which will NEVER be the case since the game is already at a at least ballanced state for killers right now... but its an idea.

The early game problem can be solved with Corrupt Intervention and late game is actually harder if the survivors don't 3 gen themselves.
A perk is not and never should be the solution to game mechanics. I would rather do this change and then nerf/change Corrupt Intervention.
Late game generators take way longer then early game generators, there is no room for discussion, its a fact.

To simply add a secondary object would just increase the time it takes for survivors to get out of the trial, which would not change genspeed but rather buff the killers in general. If they dont give survivors something for compensation, this is not an ideal solution.
It is also safe to say that generators will stay in the game and wont replaced by anything different. If that would be an option, devs would have implemented it long time ago.

May i ask why you picked these numbers? Asking for 120 seconds instead of 80 is beyond absurd. There is no way any survivor team would EVER make it out. Why not asking for 85 or 90 seconds?

Huntress is no way S Tier. Also Freddy is not stronger then Spirit and espeically not stronger then Nurse.
Spirit and Nurse should be S Tier.
Myers and GF are not A Tier, both should be B+ or B.
Deathslinger is A Tier
Clown is C Tier, one of the worst killers in the game
Demogorgon is C Tier, one of the worst killers in the game
Hag is far better then you think, A Tier
Legion is no where near B+, rather C tier.

God no. Alien or Predator wont fit at all in my opinion. They are more Sci-Fi creatues and not horror icons.
On top of that, like @Tactless_Ninja said, Predator (and also Alien) would have to use the invorement different then the maps would allow them to do.

They buffed killers a lot, maps are way more killerfriendly now, many strong things survivors had got nerfed or even removed...
I dont have trouble winning as killer, its more stressful then playing survivor, but in general not really harder. Said that, its FAR from beeing impossible to win.
Also keep in mind that survivor mains are usually more experienced then killer mains since they only have to learn one model and thats it. As a killer main, you have to learn 20 killers, all of them come with unique power and their peculiarities. It takes longer to master them, unless you only play one certain killer all the time
My honest suggestion: Try to improve first before complaining. Go watch strong killers on youtube. I recommand you FunGoose.

- Who is not? For example (and there are many) check out players like Zubat, Ayrun, Fungoose or Umbra just to name a few. This game is really not very competetive and those i listed are also far away from pro level, but compared to those, he looks like a beginner.
- He 4Ks ... that does every half decent killer most of the time. Its nothing special, when even i can do it.
- "against red rank killers" ... this might be a suprise, but red rank means nothing (like absolutly nothing, people with less then 100 hours are red ranked, i boosted total beginners to rank 1 with no problem). The skillgap within rank 1 is probably the same as rank 2-20. And yet again, this is not a competetive game. I reached red rank in my first season and R1 within a good month... with both roles. Its really not that hard.
- His very good points about balance issues... lol sorry but he is the biggest crybaby in Dead by Daylight thats all. His points are usually nonsense. Look at his "Wraith and Bubba are underrated" stuff recently. Both killers carried by best addons.. Its not that every half decent player knew what the best addons of both of those killers were before he said it and everyone with 2 braincell know that both can be good under some circumstances. He comes with these "new" ideas that are known since ages but are somehow a miracle invention to sub-par players... and they are not evne thought out to an end. When i was a beginner, i also thought he is a good player, but i improved.

I totally agree with all the complains. He is not overpowered in my book and it takes skill to be good with Billy. What they should have done is nerf his "insta-chainsaw" and maybe a small nerf to his speed addons. After that, he would be fine in my opinion.

I am normally siding more with survivors, but the op is right with that one. Its bad on both sides so killer is defnitly no exception.
The community is very toxic, and it does not really matter what you do as a killer. You are either an ######### or game was EZ, depending on how you play or how the outcome is. I can with all honesty say that i recorded games where i switch between target all the time like 1-2-3-4 1-2-3-4 1-2-3-4 and still got accused of tunneling. Or camping, when i hook a person, run across the entire map (!) checking every gen, and eventually coming back for a few seconds after that.

I was mistaken about Zubat, but Fungoose regards Huntress as much better IIRC. Showstopper is a high level PS4 player who regards Deathslinger as an unspectacular killer and Huntress as pretty good. However, now you ask I'm taking another look, and Dowsey has a rank 1 tier list that places Deathslinger above Huntress. Although he does mention this is based on 'rank 1 viability' and mentions average rank 1 killers as a factor in his placement of Huntress, so I'm not sure if a competitive viability tier list from him would put Huntress higher.
I'm not sure what Jund thinks, he doesn't have a decent tier list, which is a significant omission.
Thanks for answering. I heared in the past when people first had to learn Slinger that he is not that great, but now i almost never see anyone placing him below huntress.
I am also one of those who thinks, Deathslinger is better then Huntress. His quickscope machanic is the main reason for that.

Every top player regards Huntress as better. Bypassing pallets is incredible, long shots are incredible. Deathslinger must either shoot you, hit you and then land a regular 110 M1,shoot you and then lose huge distance by reloading, or land a regular 110 M1 to open and then shoot you. He doesn't snowball like Huntress, who can simply hit two hatchets and drop you.

Deathslinger is at least A, rather S Tier. His killing potential is 2nd best in the game.
I would rank Clown lower, probably C Tier. Legion also a bit lower.

These perks help me and personally I enjoy perks that work in the background which I don't have to use like pop goes the weasel or overcharge.

This is in my opinion still one of the best build for any M1 killer (like Doctor, Pig, Trapper etc)

- Pop goes the wheasle
- Corrupt Intervention
- Tracking Perk (i always use BBQ & Chilly, but mainly because i want bloodpoints - others like Discordance or Thrilling Tremors are also great)
Best Addon combinition
- Discipline Carters Notes
- High Stimulus Electrode
Playstyle:
Doctor is super straight forward to play. Use powerblast to find survivors, shock them so they cant use pallets or windows (prevent them from early dropping the pallet). thats it more or less.

Yes, that is exactly what I meant. When I'm against swats, it really isn't playing the game when I'm just running around the map.
The thing is, that this is in my book a fair game - the team is just better / more experienced. When a bubba is facecamping a random survivor, it has nothing to do with skill. I dont mind getting camped, but i can see why so many survivors hate it so much.
I also really dont think you can compare loosing vs a better player with loosing vs a camper.

And tapping, OMG, gameplay mechanic invented in 80s, because back then people had only one buttton and 4 diretions to control the whole game. Tapping a button? Seriously? In 2020? Now i just giving up most of the times after secound time on hook and i after playing more with players on higher levels i see more and more of them doing the same. It is not fun, challenging or exciting. It is boring, tiring and tidious. Especially in 10-15 minutes gameplay loop like this.

Devs, you have really good game here. Its just convoluted in F2P economy (disgusting), archaic game design (tapping in 2020, lol), lack of balance in gameplay (some of the killers are just bulls.t, or maybe some skills) etc. You should pay more attention to gameplay experience, because all those killer/survivors skins you are making now (to milk more money), yeh, its not enough to keep new player like me.
Ps. One of the worst events i seen for a while. Why do i have play to unlock anything? Just give players +100% and free crown skin. Jesus, its not that hard to make good event, just look at Minion Masters or something. Its not celebration when i have to work to earn it. And it feels like it - work to celebrate with this usless disadvantageous crown looking like a golden turd (im sorry, but design of this crow is so ugly, and its look like a turd).

HUD is perfect, there is no need for more information. In fact it would only distract from what matters. And the lack of information is part of the game.

Its a grind. Without the grind, the game would be dead by now. And is it really "so much"? To get a decent perk setup you need to spend maybe 3 million bloodpoints. That could be done in a few days.

Killers have their unique powers and overall unique mechanics. And you complain is very shortsided too - i had the same as a beginner, but trust me, the longer you play DbD, the more you will like it. Finding out which perk the killer is running is a helpful skill as survivor. Not knowing that the killer can only have this and that perk makes it actually better.
Most of your complains are the ones many people have when they start, because they dont realise the pros of most points. Give it a while, and you will actually appreciate things you might hate now.
