I am a survivor main and I know slot of survivors love the packing plant but honestly if they could just get rid of the meat plant and the silent hill school I'd be 100 percent ok with that cause I really don't like either of those maps

No, you can't, because saying survivors are weak would just be a massive ######### lie lol.
Just to clarify your saying that those survivors are abusing keys by doing 5 gens and hatch escaping instead of exit gate right?
Surely your not saying that ita after killing one or more survivors that a survivor is using a key, becuaee that would mean your over powered survivors are dieing to even use the key and such an overpowered character wouldn't have to worry about dieing right?

- None of those are an abuse by any stretch of the imagination.
- Killers are weak and those are legitimate ways to secure some semblance of progress, if done correctly.
- NOED exists. So does DS Locker, Borrowed Time, God Loops, etc.
- Survivors aren’t meant to win every single game.
- This has absolutely nothing to do with an instantaneous win for multiple members of the team at once, which is occurring far FAR too often because key spawn rates are bugged and the hatch is heavily unfair on all sides - for Killers and for Survivors.
Can you just repeat 3verythung you said with keys?
Survivors are weak and keys are a legitimate way to escape
Killers shouldn't expect to get 4 kills etc

As a survivor main getting the adept killers was a challenge for some killers but just cause it's not easy doesn't mean it's not good. Achievements aren't all supposed to be easy.
Some advice is that your gonna want to focus getting the irridecent devout emblem. I find that getting devout emblem usually means your getting gold or irridecent on the others so you'll get adept.
Avoid getting the same survivor over and over becuase you need to get all those hooks.
Also try to get it on the 13 or 14 it's easier to got merciless after the rank reset

It is a tactical exploit. Think about it this way, the maps Survivors truly hate number pretty small. They don't come up that often. So if you cycle who takes the DC for the team, you have four people to disperse the occasional bad maps. They get plenty of maps in between the ones they don't like so by the time it comes back around to the first DCer... it is just a five minute ban again.
It isn't something that is happening every match. It isn't being used to try and get a specific map. It is to say "hell no" to the odd map the SWF gets now and then that they do not want.
Fair enough, I'm curious what maps do you guys hate as survivors. For me I just don't like the meat plant or the silent hill school maps

It would be great to make something against the slug... like after 1.5-2 minutes if the killers don't pick you up the survivor can recover from dying stat...

They already have perks that do this just run one of them

@Crowman said:
You can't really stop another player from tunneling or camping without getting to a point where you create situations of where survivors are actually invulnerable which isn't fair.
Anti-Tunneling/Camping perks work by making it take longer for your opponent to succeed.
BT prevents a camping killer from instantly downing you and giving you time to reach safety.
DS gives you another chance at leading the killer on a chase giving your teammates more time to do gens.
I don't think that's true. If the devs wanted they could prevent camping by making it a poor strategy.
Something like the hook timer not progressigm when the killer is close to the survivor and not currently in a chase would do it

That's not the trick. Of course they all have to wait for their teammate who took the 5 minute ban. What they are avoiding by cycling who disconnects is the Ban ever getting larger for one of them in particular.
But then they can at most do that 4 times becuase when it cycles back to the first one wouldbt his ban time jump up for the second offense?
-
@Moundshroud said:
I am always impressed by the inventiveness of "some" SWF groups. I've now run across two different groups who have a trick for avoiding maps they don't like. If they load into a map they don't like, one of them disconnects in time to cancel the match. Naturally, that one will take the (5) minute ban. Next time they get a map they don't like, a different member does it and so on, round and round she goes.
Because the chances of getting one of the disliked maps isn't that great, the number of disconnects each one takes isn't enough for the Ban to build up beyond 5 minutes. Interesting scam? If this ever becomes commonplace, I would hope the Bans start applying to the ENTIRE SWF who joined together from a Lobby.
I don't think that works if you have a four man team and one disconnects and Getz the penalty then they all have to wait for the 5 min or play without the first guy
-
I like to play with my friends so I play survivor more than killer but I still enjoy playing killer when in by myself. I'm not particularly great at it but I think it's still fun. Besides it's much easier to bully players as the killer than the survivors.
I mean your faster and the only things they can do to do you, flashlight saves pallet stuns etc can all be avoided if you are wary about them. Usually I get hit with the first one theb work on avoiding the rest.

Now its my last respond to you, I cant anymore.
He just killed me and no 3 survivors, you are just a troll who dont read me, I will not feed you again.
I said so many times I blamed more my teammates, and you still focusing on the killer, youre clearly a troll.
Have a beautiful day. Bye.
Sorry that I read your posts about blaming the killer to mean blaming the killer, if you were only trying to blame your teammates then I will apologize, so to be clear are you in any way blaming the killer or not?

I just think you have not read all the comments and just the ones you wanted to.
Like I said many times before, I dont care about winning, I care about my mates.
If I stayed so long was not because I wanted to win, but because I wanted my team to win. Can you understand the difference ?
I was too naive to think my mates will go on the generators. I can do chases for them, I can do generators for them, but I cant do both at the same time.
I didnt let him kill me for so long because I was too naive, that is the real problem, Im too kind, Im too naive, Im too altruistic.
Why I blamed the killer ? Because he knew 2 survivors were missing. He knew we were only two working on generators. Even if he couldnt catch me, he knew my friend was an easy target, he is very bad at looping and he was at stage 2 on hook, one more and he could have kill one survivor.
But he just wanted to protect the generators, I think he doesnt care about winning, it was a loose for him and he knew it.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2153826#Comment_2153826
Survivors won because I let him kill me after one hour. My friend took the key and let the Claud and Kate be killed haha
See there it is again you blaming the killer. Alright let's walk through this slowly.
The killer was ensuring you guys wouldn't win by not letting you do the gens in your mind thus was terrible killer behavior becuase .... he should have left the gen area so your friend could finish the gens?
Why should the killer give up his chance to win and let you win instead? You spent an hour not letting him win Why should he just let you win?
And could you explain how you were being altruistic by staying trying to win?
Oh it wasn't for your win no it was for team survivor to win you claim.if How generous of you to sacrifice your time so your team could win...but wait if you were really being altruistic and just doing this for your team wouldn't letting yourself die spawn the hatch and actually let your team escape?
Doesn't sound like you were playing to let your team win but for you to escape.
Well now it doesn't sound very altruistic of you. Sounds like you were just plain old playing to win
Again nothing wrong with you playing to win just don't kid yourself about it. your a hypocrit who wanted the killer to let you win, you were playing for yourself to escape not your teammates and did I mention your a great big hypocrit.
The killer did his best and killed 3 of you is say he played it as best he could in the situation and apart from you having a key he'd have got all 4 of you.
You lost he won don't blame him for trying to win. Blame your two useless teammates itnsounds like you all could have escaped if they helped but don't blame the killer for trying to win just like you were. And don't pretend your altruistic either. You clearly weren't.

You are not reading me, or you are just a troll.
I'm not ignoring you blaming your two teammates. If you read my last post you'll notice I specifically said there was nothing wrong with blaming them.
The only thing wrong was you blaming the killer because your blaming him for doing the exact same thing you were doing. Forcing a stalemate by trying to win. Your a hypocrit for that and you seem to think somehow that the killer was in the wrong even though you were doing the same thing.
So who won you guys or the killer?

Sorry to try to play the game as I should.
I ran the killer for 4 generators, but I should take the loss and let myself die to punish myself because I did well.
No you seem to be ignoring the entire point of my post. Let's try again.
You played to win which resulted in a 1 hour stalemate.
The killer also played to win which resulted in a 1 hour stalemate.
Both of these are fine.
Theb you came to the forum and whined about how the killer (who did the same thing you did) was aweful for forcing you to spend an hour in the match by playing ti win.
THE WHINING about the killer for doing the same thing as you was the hypocrisy. If you didn't want a one hour game either loose, or DONT WHINE ABOUT THE KILLER PLAYING TO WIN.
I know you also complained about your two teammates for doing a terrible job. That was perfectly justified because they were terrible.
Also who won by the way?

@MadLordJack said:
It's because people can choose to play one side, usually survivor. Which, while good for the longevity and enjoyment of the game, means that people don't really understand the opposing side. They create their own ideas of how their opponents should play because they genuinely think their imaginary way if playing works.
And I specified 'survivor' because that seems to be the root cause. Certain survivors attack the killer for breaking their imaginary set of rules, a lot of those killers get driven even further away from the survivor experience because of the tribal mentality common to all humans, this creates the "us Vs them" dynamic that you see a lot more the further up you rank, and suddenly you have people that have no clue what their opponents go through because they refuse to play both sides relatively equally.
The problems that inflate this are the power gap between killers, the power gap between solo and SWF, the power gap between what each side brings into trials (Nurse Vs 4 solo's, Pig Vs a full genrushing party), and certain people essentially bullying those players who are less prepared than them, either for their own twisted version of revenge for when it happened to them or for pure videogame sadism.
Yah most games have a set of unwritten rules that if you break them the other players get mad, mostly because the things your doing while a great way to win suck the fun out of the game.
Examples include spawn camping in most fps, battlefield didn't like vehicle theft, In certain team deathmatch games hiding in a corner list goes on but you get the idea

Cool...
Its nice to read that Im wrong to try to play objectives but the Claudette just afking in a corner is right.
I just cant read that type of comments anymore.
No the problem isn't that you played yo win.
The problem is that when the killer also played yo win you whined and complained that he was holding the game hostage.
Just admit that it was your own fault that the match lasted as long as it did becuaese you were forcing the stalemate.
Again nothing wrong with the way you played, the problem was that your a hypocrit for complaining about the killer doing the exact same thing you were doing then pretending it was completely out of your hands that you were stuck there for an hour

Oh my days. 🤦♀️ il say it and say it again...
The term "gen rushing" doesn't exist. It takes nearly a minute and a half to fix one alone.
The only way this would be fair is if one per gen and not have 3 around it at once. I tend to avoid being a third person on a gen. Because firstly yes, it's far to quick, secondly it's pointless, and thirdly.... if that killers coming over he's having a field day knocking 3 people are once and I'm not being that stupid.
It seems massively quick for a killer having 3 gens pop and playing Michael I'm literally like "How's this happening? I've just played survivor and sat at one for a minute and half, how does it seem so quick?"
Also, several matches have I played where we've all died and had 4 gens left. So it's nothing the survivors are doing wrong they have objectives. You as a killer need to figure a game plan, like maybe il just patrol the gens closest to the EG and work my way in the middle. I always tend to catch 2 at the same gen and just hook those idiots first.
The term certainly exists. You used it yourself. This entire thread is about it. You can no more deny it exists than your name it is being used therefore it exists.
What it doesn't seem to have is a consistent definition. Which is what we're working on here, a definition that can be applied to the term and spread through the community. Like face camping or tunneling

He tried to hit everyone who stay on the generators, but didnt chase anyone
And if he hits you and you just stay on the gen then what? He leaves to go hit someone else you keep working on gen and finish the game. Or he hits you again you go down and....finish the game win win.
Unless what you really wanted wasn't an end to the stalemate you were perpetuating, and what you really wanted was a win you were prepared l to spend 60 min to try and get. You could have ended the game at any time and blaming the killer for keeping the game going by trying to win when you were doing the EXACT SAME THING is a degree of hypocrisy usually reserved for politicians
-
I thinkbwe should work towards a sustainable definition then try spread it around on the forum.im liking:
A survivor who works on the gen instead of healing their downed teammates or rescuing their hooked teammates, unless another teammates is going to save or heal them.
Thoughts? Situations where this would be inconsistent? I'm looking for feedback

He had Overcharge and my friend missed all the skillchecks. And we were only two working on.
So if he hit you but didn't chase you then stay on the gen who cares if your wounded?
-
I don't really get the appeal, I play survivor more than killer but I find myself wanting Lithe or spribtburst over dh. I find that I can use the distance to escape from the killer with those perks but with dh I can extend the chase a little longer.
As the killer I find that i always chase the survivors til I'm close enough to hit them the second time without then lunge unless the survivor is heading for a vault. Usually this means dh extends my chase by a second. If they dodge my hit a couple seconds more.

The problem is you dont know what really happened in this game and keep saying its not a game hostage.
But when the game is more than one hour, its clearly a game hostage.
Not only killer fault, but the Claudette and the Kate too looking for a hatch with a key, but the hatch didnt already spawn.
We were 4 survivors alive, but only two playing the game.
Except you were helping to keep it hostage of you kept running away. You could say the killer should have left the 3 gen area to chase you which would allow your friend to finishbthe gen uninterrupted. Ie you wanted the killer to let you win.
Why didn't you just run around in the three gen area you'd likely get caught and downed and loose the game
You blame the killer for extending the game by not just giving you the win hiw about you apply the same rules to yourself. He was chasing you when you were near he just couldn't leave without taking a loss. So you should have let him chase you in the area or let him down you so you take the loss and stop holding the game hostage

Also my question was about the end game collapse why do you think it needs to be automatic at 30 min when the option to die is there?

Most forms of hitting the last unhooked survivor.
But the situation can often be that the unhooker is better at hiding/fullhealth (not making noises of pain) or does not protect the unhooked.
Also when the killer chases a survivor to a hooked survivor and decides to hit the freshly unhooked instead of risking to hit the unhooker twice (only to get bodyblocked by the unhooked who might be protected by borrowed time or decisive strike).
Edit: It has a similar loose definition. But yours in terms of ignoring any potential hits on other survivor (even presenting themselves to the killer) and focussing one survivor until death would be the most fitting.
Btw my Definition of gen rushing is also either the coordination of load outs to toolboxes with brand new parts and using action speed ups like proof thyself or the ignoring of saves and healing for the sake of gen completion.
So if they brought all the perks and items you mentioned but didn't do a single gen for 5 min because they all spent the game trying to save their teammate you think itsngen rushing?
That doesn't match up very good to me as a definition then
-
@BioX said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2146606#Comment_2146606
there is gen rushing and then there is gen rushing.
what would you call it if a 4-man squad comes in with toolboxes, all have BMP, all have prove thyself and Stake Out and Fast Track and all focus above all else at doing the gens as fast as possible.
would you call it: "being super efficient at completing the generators"?
orr "doing the gens very fast"
orr rushing...as in being in a hurry to get something done and as it partakes to the generators we shall call it rushing the generators or gens for short or just gen rushing.
I mean there is the concept, but then there is just plain English....
I don't think it matters what perks your bringing in though, if you brought all the perks you listed and then ran around doing nothing would you call it gen rushing? I don't think any killer would.
That's why I still going to go with the doing gens and ignoring your teammates to get gens done. Ie no saving hooked or downed survivors.
It's a consistent definition I think applies in all situations that could reasonably be called Gen rushing.
Any disagreements?

Because I didnt knew it will be so long, I tried to play the game.
I mean at the ten min mark you didn't know it would go that long I get it, but at the 20? 30? 40? 50? At some point you must have figured it out.
You said at the 30 min mark endgame should start becuase 30 min it's already too long for a match in your view.
So at the 30 min mark of your own match why did you not just let yourself loose if you couldn't win? Why did you stick around for 30 more min then complain that the game didn't kill you at 30 min mark? Why not just let yourself die?
-
@furymeteor said:
To me it makes sense that survivors do gens at the start of the game since other objectives are less efficient. What i consider as gen rushing is to bring your best items and change your perks to focus on finishing gens within the shortest time possible. In which case, a SWF would get 3 gens done 50-80 seconds from the start of the game, depending on how far the active gens are away from survivors' spawn location.
Shouldn't that also be possible for a group of solos depending on how good you as the killer are at chasing? 80 seconds per gen with 3 people doing gens and a forth doing a gen for a bit before you find them

If I stayed too close he tried to hit me.
I tried to stay injured to be an easy target, but that wasnt enough for him to chase me.
The problem is I couldnt make the killer kill the Claudette because he doesnt left the 3 gen area and the Claudette stayed away from that area.
OK so why not just stay on the gen and if he downs you then bleed out and the match ends? Seems like you could have saved yourself a lot of time if you just wanted to die anyway?
-
Really? I've only seen tunnel to mean going after one survivor to the exclusion of all others. What other definition have you heard?

I started a game with my friend who is yellow rank (im red rank) I looped the killer during 4 generators.
Then the team got 3 gen...
The killer didnt wanted to chase me, or other survivors. He was just kicking over and over the last 3 generators.
I told my friend to start a different generator from mine but they were so close.
I was wondering "where are the Claudette and Kate" (they were swf too each other)
They were searching for the hatch with a key.... but the hatch wasnt spawn, we had to do one more generator..
It was the worst experience of dbd Ive ever had. I dont want to play with my low rank friend anymore... I play with him because he is my friend, but clearly I lost my time during this game.
I think the devs should had a secret timer, after 30min the end game collapse begin, whatever happen, idk but never again.
Next time I will just disconnect.
Both the Claudette and the killer were "game-hostaging" but they didnt knew they were.....
I complain about red ranks games being too fast, but yellow ranks games are too long lol
I don't understand something, could you clarify if the killer wouldn't swing at you while you were on the gens or just wouldn't chase you. If it's the first one you should be able to split up from your friend on a second gen to work the killer can't be in two places at once. If he wouldn't chase you then why not just let him down you and bleed out if you weren't having fun. It seems like you could have ended ot either way? It's not like you need the endgame collapse for that
-
I'm not good a names. So something like spiteful.
If the killer is in x feet of you while your hooked for y seconds charge up spiteful. When fully charged you throw blood in the killers eyes blinding and stunning them for 8 seconds and unhook yourself. Works on second hook too
Not sure on the x and y numbers though.
-
@cmq said:
Why do killers camp and tunnel. Your supposed to hunt not sit there do nothing and just tunnel ppl. How is that even fun. That takes the fun out of the game. You are just bad at the game if you do this, and the higher the rank the worse it is. Not to mention a survivor waits 5-10 min for a match then they get hooked and thats the whole game. You killers have way to many perks to help you out and your much faster. There are some killers who play the right way, but not many. If your good at the game you will hook someone and HUNT for another. All of you that camp and tunnel should not be high rank you should be rank 20. The point of games are fun and you ruin that cuz you suck at the game. A good killer will play right and still get everyone. But off course that wont happen cuz the killers a lil babies
Because it lets them win. People need to stop asking killers to stop camping and start asking the devs to change the mechanics so that it's not a viable strategy to camp. Or atleast not such a good if not incredibly boring one

I don't use the term personally as I feel it's on me as the killer to push the survivors off gens. This is just my own personal observation on seeing my fellow killers use the term. They're usually used to outline some percieved "problem" with the game. When in my eyes, it's just people playing their objective.
My own personal goal regarding gens getting done is actually pretty lax compared to others. I consider "normal" to be seeing 2 gens pop when the first person is hooked or shortly after: something that makes most people seem to lose their mind and think there's a problem with the game for some reason.
I don't use the term personally as it's my observation is used in a disparaging manner to put down people who play their objective hard. IE - casuals yelling at try-hards or sweatlords or whatever dumb nickname they have for this generation.
Well then if you don't use your own definition may I suggest the earlier definition grandpa and frosty used. That if you the survivors don't save, or try and save I supposd, their hooked teammates they are gen rushing.
It would be nice if people used consistent definitions becusee if everyone uses their own definition for words its pretty tough to have a conversation
-
I've found tunneling about the same but facecamping seems way up

@FrenziedRoach said:

Killing a survivor is literally the killer's objective. Removing somebody from play by focusing on them (tunneling) is literally hyperfocusing the objective
Doing gens is the survivor objective. pushing those hard is called Gen rushing
Same thing, just terms usually used by mediocre players on both sides to complain that the other side is better than them.
By that argument face camping is hyper hyper focusing? Doesn't seem right to me becuase it assumes targeting one survivor to the exclusion of all others is the best way to win
Also if pushing hard is your definition of gen rushing what does that mean?doing x gens in y min? I've said earlier that I dislike this def but if it's yours I'd like to know the x and y values you use
-
@Tizzle said:
Basically, if you finish all of the gens no matter how or in what time frame, you're probably "gen rushing" in the eyes of someone that doesn't understand the game.
Gen rushing and Kill rushing are two of the dumbest concepts the community has ever come up with.
I've not heard of kill rushing before
-
@FrenziedRoach said:
It's a term used to describe survivors that push gens harder than a mediocre or worse killer can handle. Think of it as the survivor version of "tunneling" - IE Hyperfocus on their objective
No that doesn't make sense. If all gen rushing mean is doing better than the killer can handle then that would mean everytime the survivors win they are genrushing.
Also tunneling doesn't mean doing better than survivors it means going after one survivor to the exclusion of 5he other 3 no matter the circumstances
-
Well I kinda like the definition to be no one going to save teammates on the hook.
The whole thing about doing x gens in x minutes seems stupid to me. So if you do 1 gen in 6 min becuase you suck but you never save anyone on the hook then your genrushing. On the other hand if you do 5 gens in 5 min but save everyone then your not rushing
-
@Grandpa_Crack_Pipe said:
It doesn't really have any set definition, since it gets thrown around so often.
Some people say genrushing is 3 gens in 3 minutes, some people say genrushing is the gens getting done at all.
I say the most reasonable definition of genrushing is ignoring everything to get gens done. As in, we're going to leave our teammate to die on his first hook to get them done as fast as possible.
Does that definition mean that if three people don't go to save the forth there genrushing or do you allow two to keep working while the third goes for the save?

But it only takes a min 20 to do a gen by yourself with no perks or items helping you. So if your your good and catch one survivor in 30 seconds, amd second goes to save them the other two would finish the other two gens in half that time?

I know they announced it, but like you said that was ages ago. I honestly believe that BHVR is more committed to new content than they are fixing their game.
Hahaha they are committed to just about everything more then they are to fixing the game. I've asked a couple times about some bugs that are years old and haven't been addressed seems the general feel is the devs are extremely apathetic

Trust me these things can be very annoying but these strategies are used to win. ya I know killers can use this thing just to be an A-hole.
Slugging is used to create pressure and yes although boring it's something the killer has to do to win. this is a tactic extremely common so most people are not phased by it to much
Camping and tunneling are things people are a bit mad at when it does happen. You really can't get mad at a killer for camping if there are people near the hook or its endgame. if the killer knows someone is near the hook you can't get mad at them since what are they supposed to do F right off to the corner. He is taking advantage of your eagerness of getting a quick unhook. He is making the smart play. Now, this is something that you really should not get and at, and that's camping at endgame. The killer is lets say losing and has one surv on the hook. why in the world would he leave the hook he has to secure a kill. it's so dumb to find a surv mad at the killer for camping during endgame when it's all they can really do without losing at least a 1k. One last thing is some killers camp just to also secure a health state since they need to. ya this is probably the most annoying out of the 3 i mentioned but still, the killer most likely has to get a health state or a kill or else they lose. oh ya, some killers have to stay near the hook since they hooked you near their 3 gen.
tunneling is also a thing people hate but most of the time it's not the killer's fault. It's the person that unhooked's fault since they did not take agro or at least a take hit, but still, they blame it on the killer for the survivors misplay. also same as camping sometimes need to do it if they want to win since they need to get someone out of the game quickly. why do you think so many people tunnel in comp play.
All these things are yes as I said before very annoying and the killer can do it just to be an A-hole but most of the time the killer just wants to win. these made-up rules are like if it's frowned upon to start doing a gen right after you did another gen as surv. People make so many jokes that killers get mad at the survs doing their objective to quickly which some killers do which is absurd since its your objective and you should be doing it quickly but mostly all the surv player based just get mad at the killer for killing survivors to quickly for example tunneling since its "noT Fun " or "yOuR A TrAsH KiLlER for Camping/tunneling/slugging." which isn't true since like I said before they do it to win and Comp killer do all of these things all the time and they are the best of the best Usually.
please stop getting mad at the killer for doing things just because they want to win. Why should a killer care about killing the survivors too quickly if most of the survivor player base doesn't care about doing the gen too quickly?
Personally, i don't like doing any of these things but sometimes I have to if I want to win, I know some of you will say "then don't play to win play for fun" but winning is fun to me, and most of the the killer player base.
One last thing you also should not get mad at a killer for doing any of this thing if it's part of the power. for example proxy camping for hag and trapper. These killers are made to be campy they arent meant to chase right off the bat and if you do get caught and put in their web then that's on you. Other killers have to slug to get the most out of their power like most of the insta down abilities, the twins, and maybe blight.
What does make a trash killer in your view?
I'm not saying killers are trash for camping. since the devs haven't properly addressed it, it's a very tood way to win which is why you see it so often. I'm just curious what you think is a trash killer

I think it's mostly for messing with survivors, or going for challenges.
If your playing to win your better off with perks that help you win rather than avoid a loss
-
I dunno I main nea but that's just because I started with her and since she was the first I leveled up I just sort of had more perks on her so when I leveled my other characters to unlock there perks I kinda just kept adding them to her since she already had the most perks and it spiraled from there. Do you guys play your survivors based on anything else, I mean they all play the same anyway

Borrowed time is the most bs perk I've ever seen. Its pretty much like having ds but unlimited times.Today I was playing a game where I was chasing a player I hit him once then he unhooked right in front of me, then I hooked him then the girl he unhooked, unhooked him and I hit them both and they BOTH had bt.Who tf thinks of making a perk like that??This game is 100% survivor sided and they need to change that.I have to deal with dumb perk every single game.Fix it.
Just a couple thingss for you that may help if your in a similar situation
1 you can grab survivors who hook infront of you
2. You downed the first guy right infrobt of the the one you hooked you can go chase the unhooked one to make her leave
3 if you have chased the survivor away and holding a survivor and there's another survivor there you can drop the survivor and go hit them then come back

Ha that's hilarious is face camping not killer going afk just watching if killer gets points like that it wouldn't hurt the game to reward me a small amount of BP for not leaving a boring match also survivors are entitled really? How about the constant whining of killers because of BT or Unbreakble so they get nerfed I'm not asking for a win I'm asking for a small reward so I don't end up depipping because of something that is deemed as a tactic!
How about instead of points you ask for a mechanic that makes it so that although camping is allowed it is no longer a viable strategy. Something like the hook timer doesn't go down if the killer is within a certain radious of the hook while not in a chase?
I had a thread proposing ideas that would solve the issue and this seemed to be the idea that came up on the end. If you see any exploitsthat could be used by either side in this implementation, let me know
