For my own enjoyment of DBD I keep the post game chat comments always closed. There are too many times when others bring bad feelings from inside the game to afterwards and it can be toxic, especially from entitled players.
I prefer scrolling through the stats, seeing the build layouts used, then going to the next game, all the while being oblivious to what other people are writing to each other. Yes sometimes they are genuinely nice to each other afterwards but it's not the rule. I might be missing positive things going on, or people expecting praise as a courtesy, but in my mind I've moved on by that time.

I just completed the challenge... and I feel bad
I hate to use everything in the game just to complete the challenge, like slugging, tunneling, proxy camping.. I don't like these tactics as they ruin survivor's fun. I have never played the game like this before, but I'm forced to do so just to complete the challenge.
i don't know why devs decided to make this a challenge. This challenge promotes toxic behavior more than any other challenges, so in another word, devs are encouraging people to be toxic.
I think they should change this challenge right away, but what do you think?
I understand where you're coming from, but why create a thread when this has been brought up repeatedly? What new thing are you adding to the conversation that the community managers haven't seen and passed on to the game designers already?

Don't take surv rank at face value, many are boosted as it's easier for them to go up in levels.

Best to leave them in the hook, to be safe for yourself.

Too bad the game doesn't work for most people even with the recommended requirements then.
Or gosh, the people who play on console.
"Too bad the game doesn't work for most people even with the recommended requirements then"
You have the perception and reasoning skills of a teenager.
If the game didn't work for most players then we wouldn't be having matches.

Darn, guess people should be punished for the game being broken!
Game is not broken. Problem is your PC.

I hope this doesn't mean that the Legion will never get buffed. We can't base everything from the stats, right?
Legion is overperforming, more than 50/50. He needs another nerf.

Wasn't sure how to USE a code in stream.

Is it really that hard to enable double bloodpoint gains?
I mean archive rift stuff sure that looks like it takes a lot of time and honestly I am not a big fan of it anyways- but you know what I do like? Double bloodpoints. Always good, always easy.
Can't even do that, why? =/
Double BP starting Jan. 2nd, when they get back from their holidays.

I find both Franklin's and Agitation are good, as they can lead to survs making mistakes.
Often a player will come back for an item you knocked down and it's a chance for you to teleport back on it for the second hit. When I'm between someone on a hook and another trying to save, my first hit will sometimes cause an impulsive reaction to try and pick it up right away and I'll get a chance to down them too. Happens more than you'd think.
Running Agitation can get you to a hook in the basement. Trap somewhere downstairs, of course, but another option is to return when you hear the unhook notification and then set another trap at the top of the stairs behind you where they can't avoid it when running away. Get one hit on someone on the way down then another on the person triggering the one up top as they run by you. Doing a basement build can get a good snowball effect running for Hag.
Some of the newer killer teachables I haven't unlocked yet. Would like to run the combo that changes obsession when hit by pallet and the one that puts the TR on the survivor.

I don't DC unless it's a 3v1 (when I'm killer). I don't play 3v1's.
Stop talking. You're making a fool of yourself. Wait - no, you've already shown how ignorant and uninformed you are.
"It's not happening to me therefore you are all lying".
If you are trying to make a trained argument to change my mind I'll save you the effort. You have no credibility in my eyes when you just use attack words. You are not acting maturely and you don't have my respect.

Your entire post is rendered dribble by the fact that the devs have openly acknowledged ALL of these issues.
Try harder.
No, you just want to DC when things are not going your way in a game and not be held accountable for it.

Again, I offer you to look at the Twitch clips I posted and tell me what the Nea could have done to avoid the bug.
Would a better GPU make the bug not happen?
More ram?
Better motherboard?
A $2,000 router?
What's the solution here since apparently a "better PC" stops programming quirks from happening according to your logic?
Then what about the Nintendo Switch? How do you upgrade a Switch to perform better?
Either there are bugs, which will effect everyones' games, or there is no bug and some people have problems with their setups.
Since I'm not experiencing DC bugs and neither are most people, then I have to reason it's the latter.
I used to have problems with my M1 hits not being reliable. I tried a few things and eventually found I needed to adjust my desktop resolution. I might have said there was a bug, but most people didn't have this problem. It was my PC setup.

I'd rather have to put up with DCs, than having innocent people getting put on very long cooldowns because the game crashes or some other BS happens.
They only have to wait for a minute, which is nothing. The DC penalties are progressive, so people abusing it will get sidelined for longer.
-
"The main reason people DC is because this game has a lot of unfun aspects to it"
Don't punish the rest of us by being a poor sport and disconnecting.

@beatddb said:
I feel bad for legion mains, how are they still playing?
For the luls. More than any other killer I use people will die on hook to get out of the match, their dislike of Legion is that strong.
-
"Welp it was nice thinking "oh perhaps they're just in the process of fixing the rest of his worthless addons/thinking about how to buff him" nope none of that."
What would lead you to think that? Because other Legion players are upset too?
It looks like the only solution was to change the character enough to make most people not want to select him. On a fundamental level survivors find him unpleasant to play against and there is no changing that short off a Freddy style overhaul. Any tweaks to his add ons or basekit will not stop many people from hating the Legion and complaining.

@Peanits said:
Not blocking the ones that are being worked on gives you information as the killer. You'll know which ones are being worked on, so you'll know exactly where to go after hooking that survivor even if they hide in lockers to avoid BBQ.
So two perks to do what BBQ used to do on it's own? 8-/
-
"If a lot of people follow suit, this will now cause killers to have a much higher kill rate, which i'm going to assume will lead to even more nerfs in the future because they base everything solely on stats."
The kill rate will be the same. DCs count as kills, so whether someone dies on hook or disconnects there is no difference, the end result is the same.
Plus, both scenarios will cause the match to become 3v1, and the killer will have the same advantage, so no extra kills there either.
-
I'm guessing we'll see hundreds of butt hurt DC posts for the next month? Thanks for self identifying.

It's possible, that her nerfs, while not addressing the issue people had, brought her to a more enjoyable level. I'm just guessing but that might be what has happened.
Either that. Or fewer killer players are using the Spirit and so there are fewer complaints from survs.

Screams would be spammed, unless there was a cooldown timer.
Would like to see more hand gestures, like the moutza:

I'm terrible on Nurse and I slugged to a 4k yesterday first try.

I respectfully disagree. Power is best used when given to the people.
Then create your own game.
-
The only direction a rework is going to go is to give the Nurse a decreased kill rate.
-
"and I would never suggest buying something just because you think it's really powerful."
It's important that we adjust our game expectations to this reality.

@Blueberry yup i detest noed as well and when i see top 4 killers with ruinoed i want to puke (and sadly thats pretty often)
noed needs rework but can you imagine how much big chunk of killers would cry about it?
It can happen when someone prestiges a killer and doesn't have many perks to choose from when they start to level back up.
-
The most fun you will have with a Killer DLC is immediately following it's release, before any changes are made. But these fixes were fast.
-
@Waffleyumboy said:
But you forgot about how op chests are. I go through all the trouble of dodging lobbies until no one has a med kit and then bam! they search a chest and they can heal themselves. It makes it too easy for survivors to heal with healing this easy Thanataphobia might as well be affected by healthy survivors. 🙄
So killers need locks to keep the chests closed? Maybe make it a future perk.

The killer nerfs are all about the 50/50 balancing. On average two survivors should be able to escape.
That means that if good killer mains can regularly get 4k then the mechanics need to be made harder for less good killer players so that they regularly 0k to make up for the 4k's.
-
@OmegaXII said:
Well, i never used those add-ons anyway. So it's fine for me (As long as they don't touch his base-kit)
You got yours, so to hell with others?
-
Tired of being tunneled? Jump on a hook.
-
No, I prefer to keep basement camping people like OP.
-
Even with the late stage bloodweb change from a couple of months back this game is a grind. Once the OP unlocks the Ruin he'll then need to find it in his killer main's web too.
-
Something that worked for me:
Under my Windows display settings I changed it from the recommended 2560X1440 down to 1920X1080. For DBD game play it felt that my mouse key actions were more responsive. The only downside is having to switch back to the better resolution after leaving the game.

He's talking about finding a green key in a chest with no addons.
Just escape with the key. Next game toss some add ons and bring it with you.

I just don't understand it, it seems to me if the developers actually talked to and asked the community on pressing issues via the forums the game would get a lot better and things would go a lot smoother. But community managers seem to cherry pick on the topics they intervene on, and mostly stay away from the pressing issues that cause much backlash or have controversy to them. I'm never went to school for public relations and all that but it seems pretty obvious to me honesty and clarity is the way to go, but is seems BHVR's dev team disagree's, I just am asking an honest question and would like an honest answer without any fluff speak.
People nag them too much. Also there's no talking to gammas, and there are some of them here.
