I'm genuinely impressed at how far up BHVRs ass your head is lol
They have their head up Bhvr's ass because they don't care about a deal to an event? Guess it's a big ass since my head must be there too. Events are nothing but a headache. Nothing but a bunch of toxic fuckwits on both sides.
-
Pretty much this. It's damn frustrating.

Um... who cares who runs and it and who doesn't? Popularity doesn't mean something is OP. My point is that it's counterable, before you even consider perks. Your the one choosing to die on this hill as to wither or not Distortion is good or not.
But popular <> OP. By that logic, we should also be nerfing Dead Hard, Ruin, ect.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/776809#Comment_776809
I've wondered why they went with tokens instead of a long cooldown on the perk.
I can only guess they thought it would too OP. A cool down with each rank effecting the length of the cool down I think would have been ideal.

I don't know how hard it would be to implement, but here's a Distortion idea:
It can have, at max, 3 Tokens.
Tokens are spent to avoid aura reading, like normal.
If you avoid aura reading in any other way (hiding in a locker before your aura is revealed, being within BBQ's no-read range, hiding behind a Genny aura when BBQ procs, stopping healing 1 or 1.5 seconds before hearing the TR (while the Killer has Nurses Calling), etc: Gain a token back!
Basically; gain a token if you prevent an aura read based on the perk giving said aura read.
You cannot gain a token for doing the same thing twice in a row! IE: For BBQ; You can hide in a locker, then hide close to the Killer, THEN hide in a locker again, and gain 3 tokens. But you can't hide in a locker, hide in a locker, then hide close to the Killer.
It may be a bit too complicated, though..
A system allowing you to gain tokens or a it having no tokens but a cooldown period would make it a far better perk.

Played F13. Then heard there was a game I could play as Michael Myers. As Halloween is my favorite horror franchise I had to try it.

And that's on top of the ton of Blood Points it gives.
It is a loaded perk. It needs a nerf.
Bbq is fine as is. I'd argue for a distortion buff. At least a buff to the number of tokens. Hell I'd be fine with there being no tokens and it lasting the entire match.
-
Yellow is faster. Red is slower. White is base. If working on a generator together it should be red unless one of you has Pove Thyself. The killer could also be running perks to effect your repair speed.
-
I wasn't. A Claudette cinematic I would be excited for. She was my OG main.
@Peanits one of the main concerns I've seen is being able to complete the rift won't be feasible without a serious grind. Also some of the challenges looked nearly impossible without alot of luck. Not sure if those were Boosted Dwight's concerns. But those seem to be the most talked about.
-
Yeah, I have to disagree. Bbq has counters. Hiding in a locker, hiding behind a gen, and being with 40 meters. As easy as it is to counter I think it's fine. I'd be behind a buff for distortion though.
-
I feel better seeing all the others who tried to Kobe off the hook. My first killer game I had no idea what scratch marks were. That was rough.
-
Depending on the ranks they could be expecting a sweaty killer. I usually don't bring anything stronger then a yellow med kit or brown tool box. Usually not even those. Only time I bring stronger is if killers have been super sweaty that day.
-
I'd say because pc has better hardware. But this game isn't that complicated. Or demanding graphics wise.

I know.
But someone doing something wrong doesn't make their own wrong right.
I agree. I'm not advocating for either side to dodge.
-
@Boss said:
Your reasoning is exactly why it was fixed.
They don't want people to dodge just cause they don't like certain equipment someone else brought in.
Tell that to the killers who dodge when survivors bring items.

Wasn't sure if you were being sarcastic or not.
-
He's not bad really. The chainsaw hitbox is pretty bad I'd have to agree. Also insta saw Billy can be rough.
-
Doubtful. Super tunneling killers rarely do it because they consider that person a threat.
-
I personally hate playing in swf. It's impossible to concentrate with all the talking. Only buff I really care about for solo is making Kindred basekit. They only reason to oppose this is if you are camping. In which case I don't care if you oppose it. A chase indicator would be cool. But with Bond and Empathy I don't think it's needed really.
Maybe rework Kindred to show the killers aura to other survivors when you're in chase.

Meh. Don't play as any of them.

She's incredibly annoying. But not that strong.

Ah the age old just bring -insert name of perk here- argument.

I just played him today for the first time since the rework. Not sure where he ranks yet. I do know not needing to sleep everyone first was awesome.
-
I was standing on it. I might not have been looking in the right direction though. I'll try that next.

I’ve probably seen about as many good nurses as hag in general but experiences may vary.
True. Stats on all these things would be fascinating. At least to me.
-
I'd say try just sabotaging hooks and cleansing totems. You'll help your team by preventing Noed from being in play, and breaking hooks will keep them off of them.
-
@GrootDude said:

Do you think Hag and huntress are also weak? Nurse is pretty hard to learn on console and most players don’t have time for it, I actually saw mostly legions at red ranks before reset, does that make Legion number one?
I would argue having the potential to be the best doesn't matter if nobody is living up to that potential. While I'm sure there are great Nurse players on console I've never seen one.
-
Because you are basically denying someone the chance to play the game.
-
I suggested in the past that killers could keep their addons based on performance. If you pip you get to keep the lower rarity of the two addons. If you double pip you get to keep both.

On ps4 sometimes players just get randomly disconnected and say "no network connection" when clearly you're still have network connection..... it's quite stupid.... so dont take all disconnects as "rage quits"
I've noticed that game has seemed about as stable as a new born giraffe on ice. How many DC's are because of that and how many are due to the player is hard to say.
-
Yes. I never understood why this wasn't changed to just say have no survivors.

Are YOU trolling ?
Literally all you had and still have to do was to use whispers or spies from the shadows.
If you still can't find the last survivor...this isn't the game's fault.
Spies is easy to counter and not everyone runs Wispers. The devs made it abundantly clear why they did what they did.
-
Complain insta heals are too powerful.
Insta heals get nerfed.
People decide to use up their insta heals.
Complain about people using their items.

No it wasn't there's literally vids about it.
Also, did you just say the hatch spawning when no gens are fixed was to prevent an hostage situation ? Like wth my IQ just dropped reading that. XD
In the past if no gens were done. Survivors would just hide to deny the killer a chance to kill them. Thus taking the game hostage. Where the killers only choice usually was to DC. The hatch spawning for the last survivor regardless of how many gens are completed was implemented to prevent that. It really isn't that hard to understand. At this point I can only assume you are trolling.
-
@TheUnendingNightmare said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/766279#Comment_766279
Again no it wasn't.
The hatch was rework to allow the last survivor to escape since repairing 1 or 2 gens was hard when you are last.
Jeez everyone is confusing the EGC and hatch rework. Those are two different mechanics that were put in the game seperatly.
They were put in at the same time. It doesn't take a genius to see why they added the hatch opening even with no gens done. It was to prevent the game being held hostage. It was not put in as a consolation prize.
-
They only implemented this too avoid games being held hostage. Giving a chance for a free hatch escape may not be ideal. But it beats the alternative. Letting the killer Mori here doesn't prevent the game from being taken hostage.

For how much he is annoying is not strong so he needs some buffs
I didn't say he didn't need some help. I'm just hoping they can do it without making him a complete nuisance.

I very rarely use med kits outside of chests so I don't really care about these nerfs but usually sweaty swf use Insta heals so it ain't going to affect them too much
I like to use a green med kit with extra charges when I use one. Now they're pretty much useless to me.

Usually a camper to me.

It says replace item efficiency with increased self heal speeds at +50%
Caught it after another read. Not even close to worth the nerf imo.

How many charges does it take to fully heal
16.
@Nekoo said:
I know instant heal got nerf, but no one is gonna use it every game right?
- unless you are, then I have no respect for you, don't even comment here you criminal scum
For almost every med-kit, they buffed the speed of healing others massively,
especially Ranger Med-Kit, not only you heal others super fast, it now increases self-heal speeds too.
On top of that, some of the add-ons are finally usable,
Needle & Thread and Sponge for example, were dog ######### before this buff, it is now viable.
So far I'd say it's pretty decent buffs, it is a buff to all survivor who are not douchebags
Where does it say it increases speed on self healing?
Never mind. I missed it on the green med kit. Not really worth a big conversation. They nerfed it as much as they buffed it.
-
I wish it was hard numbers. But half the time their hard numbers don't make sense.

The only way to play against a spirit is to "Git Gud". Don't whine about how hard it is to loop her when she was meant to stop looping. Git gud, learn to mindgame her, recognize when she's probably phasing or faking it, sneak to a place where you'll most likely be hidden if she phases out near you, don't go for obvious places like jungle gyms and pallets. If you're hurt, stay on the move, act unpredictable, and be ready to use pallets or juke. Eventually she'll lose you if you sneak hard enough, if you haven't seen her in a while. Be careful about how you do gens until she's confirmed chasing someone. You know how I know all this? I got gud.
And there is the difference. You actually offered suggestions as to what to do. They didn't. Saying git gud and nothing else is useless and annoying.
-
I've seen a build where they use.
No Mither
Unbreakable.
Sabotage.
Dead Hard.
With a full sabotage toolbox. You create hook dead zones. It's a gimmick build. But will get alot of hate.
-
I did Claudette for the achievement. After that no.
-
Just play how you want. As long as you aren't being a tunneling camper they have no right to complain. I agree with @Mochan that doctor is annoying to play against. But play who you want and how you want.

This is a competitive game.
The opposite of competitive is cooperative, not casual. This is not a cooperative game since it is PvP. Mario party is competitive as well and that game doesn't even have a ranking system.
Saving someone and dying is still a loss. That's what makes it altruistic.
I guess by competitive I mean an esports kind of game. I've never seen this game as competitive in an esports sense or otherwise. Yes you are playing PvP. But it's not a 1v1. If it were 1v1 a win or loss would be obvious. A 1v4 becomes murkier. At least in my opinion. I know we aren't going to agree here. I seem to remember this topic came up months ago and your stance was the same.
