Entity's power should be to alter the RNG of an area of a map.
So basically when she stands on a tile and uses her power things swap around. A jungle gym might be backwards or a different version. Totems would move to another spot on the tile. Orientation of small structures change (eg. shack). But then if a gen is running it keeps running just moves around to a new orientation on the tile.
I also imagine her to look like a shadow-person version of Nurse, with Wraith's Hallowed Blight head, and Hag's hands, and with spider legs that walk (but it still kinda looks like a floating Nurse).
-
You should equip Bamboozle.
🤓
-
That players should be forced to play both sides.
-
Make screaming during a vault cause slow vault instead of outright stopping you, and allow survivors to heal each other out of dying while in Madness 3 and you can give Doc any buffs you want.

Ignorance is no excuse. Those were your words. Regardless, you can know it happened simply by counting the vaults. Information travels quickly (also your words), so they must know how many vaults it takes to block a window.
You don't seem to understand what I actually said. You just insist on repeating it over and over when there are difference circumstances.
Some areas have a lot of windows and in a chase with a slow killer you might not always be "in a chase" according to the game. So there are legit times where a window should not be blocked after vaulting it several times.
But I know you will just repeat this post again and again because you are ignorant.

You said ignorance is not an excuse, yet try to justify this exploit with it. Interesting.
I applied the same logic because the alternative is insulting (to you).
You are taking what I said and twisting it to fit your narrative.
Mend bug is bannable because it can be done one purpose and the effects are clearly seen by all parties.
Window bug is not bannable because it has no consistent trigger and the game doesn't always make it clear that it happened.
So in both cases you can know about the bug, only in the second case do you not have control over it nor are you made aware that it has even happened. Therefore it is a different circumstance.
But go ahead and repeat the same thing and @ me again because you fail at logic.

Even if they don't know, again, according to @thesuicidefox, ignorance is no excuse, and they should still be reported.
You take what I say way out of context.
You can know about the window bug, BUT IF THE GAME DOESN'T TELL YOU IT'S HAPPENING how can you know unless you vault a window 6 times in a chase.
Unlike other bugs this one is random and cannot be triggered at will by survivors, besides the fact they don't see/hear the window getting blocked. Maybe SOMETIMES they do, but from what I've seen no you don't.
So you are trying to compare somethings that are intentional and abused on purpose, preemptively even, to something that happens at random and doesn't happen the same for everyone.
If there was a way to do it on purpose, or if there was a clear indication it's happened to all parties, then YES it should be bannable. But neither of these cases are true.
You can stop misrepresenting me now.

UNWRITTEN RULEDo you not see what you have done?

Seems like Pig will be getting a change.
He uses the word "logical".
My guess is that Pig won't be able to trigger end game collapse herself if there is an active RBT. Either survivors have to do it or the trapped guy needs to die/remove the trap.
-
4 minutes might be better. But 10 no, way too long.

Not_Queen already said some perks are being changed with the new end game collaspe, though NOED is staying as is.

Yea but that's kinda the important one.
She also said "all" then edited her post to say "a few" so we can speculate that at least 1 of Rancor, BW, or BM will stay the same. Really take your pick they are still good.

Hooking the survivor after you activated endgame means that the endgame timer will be extended....
You have a speed boost and one shot on everyone, and a mori on at least 1 of them. Extra time doesn't matter that much.
-
No. I want you sitting there watching the screen just don't play and let me hit you.
No bathroom breaks either. You sit and watch the whole thing.
-
Maybe, just for Pig, they make it so that if you close hatch any survivor with an RBT just takes it off like they do at a box. Then in these situations, as Pig, you should just stand on the hatch until either you see them or they die from the trap. Otherwise it can be an unwinnable situation for survivor.
-
Leatherface
NOED
Insidious
Any map where the exit gate is next to shack basement.
Catch someone, put them in the basement.
Trigger end game.
Stand and wait for anyone to enter the basement.
Body block.
WIN.
-
How does this affect Emblems?
-
The smarter thing to do as killer is just stand on the hatch until it closes by itself and now the other 2 have to do 2 gens to power gates. Unless using a key opens the hatch indefinitely now.
-
Mitochondria is the powerhouse of the Legion.
-
Swiggity swooty, I'm coming for that booty.
-
You still are forced to Mend before doing anything, so Deep Wound does have some value in the game. It's like Madness 3 but applied instantly instead of over time.

I'm probably gonna stick with my typical build but replace Distressing since his terror radius is increased.
Thanatophobia

Sloppy Butcher
Track the survivors and stall the gane like there's no tomarrow.
Yes Sloppy/Thana combo would still be good for him.
-
What were your goals with this Legion rework?
-
I would do Bambo instead of Fire Up.
-
It was updated so that aura reading is the same for all tiers but you can only get a max of 2/3/4 tokens for each tier respectively.
-
Seems okay. I'll have to see it in the game to know if I like it.
-
Slug them. It takes 4 minutes to bleed out and 2 for a hook to come back. If you run Deerstalker and Nurse's you can just leave them on the ground as bait.
I came across sabo squads like 10 times ever. It's annoying but if you just slug them and find someone else you will still get hooks.

But how often do survivors talk ######### about killers 'wall hacking' and threatening reports etc when they use BBQ & Chilli or Scratched mirror, I think a killer will just chalk it up to a salty survivor if they tell them they are using an exploit.
Then I hope they like being banned.
-
Tell players about the exploit. If someone says they didn't know, report them anyway. If it was a legitimate instance of them using those add-ons, they probably won't do it after someone tells them. A single report most likely won't get you banned. If you do use it many times and get a lot of reports then you can't honestly say "I don't know".
Ignorance is no excuse for breaking the law.
-
What if when you hooked someone PGTW would show you the gen with the most progress so you know which to go kick.
-
OMG IT'S SO ######### SLOW
-
@Decarcassor "It is working exactly as designed. "
Just because it is working as designed doesn't absolve the design of being mechanically flawed and therefore exploitable.
Like infinites technically "worked as designed" because they let you gain distance during a chase. But it was still mechanically flawed because you could do it forever.
If you seriously think Legion moonwalk is not an exploit, then you also think infinites are not an exploit. You cannot agree with one and disagree with the other at the same time.
-
Dude this is literally every killer.
-
Or just make Apples base kit. Her whole schtick is based around inflicting Broken with sickness then becoming super OP when she takes Corrupt. The only problem is that he power can be completely countered by just not using fountains until late in the game. But if she has an Apple, once everyone is Broken she can force you to use fountains because she already has Corrupt. This starts a cycle of making people sick and getting Corrupt that let's her snowball really hard.

Moonwalking is moonwalking. You can't exclude one Killer from it just because he benefits more than others.
Well, you're right. Any killer that moonwalks to avoid a chase to make Deep Wounds timer tick down is exploiting. Legion happens to be the only killer that can inflict it so in his case it is the most egregious.
-
@DocOctober said:
Devs already said it isn't. Moonwalking has been part of the game for a long time and is a major mindgame strategy amongst most Killers.
But it's moonwalking in terms of Legion we are talking about here. It's not just any killer.

Yet you skipped where they said "if I wasnt stupid enough to come to the forums, I wouldn't know Jack ######### about dbd news."
Which answered your remark before you even responded.
Right because you don't know a single other person that plays this game that couldn't have told you.
@Kilmeran said:
@thesuicidefox I know about it because I come to the forums. I'm in the minority.
Now, do you think I know about bugs or exploits in WoW or Overwatch or Paladins? I don't. Because I no longer go to those forums or reddits, and when I play those games I am only playing with real life friends and family who don't go to those sites either. We don't friend people in those games, we've no interest in it, and play only in our chill, closed circle.
I couldn't even tell you what is on PTB in those games, because until the patch notes go on the launcher on release day, we don't follow the game's news. We just login and play, then logout and go about real life.
Once I quit these forums, guess what? It will be the same situation for me and DbD. I won't know what's broken or what's coming until the patches go live and leap onto my screen at login.
Dude someone would have told you about the bug.
Sorry I just don't buy it that people don't know about this bug. DBD community is small, people run into the same players a lot. YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD BY SOMEONE ABOUT IT AT THIS POINT. Whether it's from a friend in the game or someone you just played you would have been told about it.
But if you want to live in fairy tale world where people don't open their mouths and tell other people about stuff then be my guest.

@thesuicidefox You doubt that someone that plays this game doesn't have friends who play this game?
I have zero friends who play this game. Not a one. They've zero interest in the new-player grind in DbD, and even less interest in a hide-and-seek asymmetrical game. Not one friend or family member even owns a copy of DbD. They're happy in their MMOs and team-shooters.
If I wasn't stupid enough to come to the forums, I wouldn't know jack about DbD news.
Yet you still know about the mend bug...
Also I'm talking about the friends you make playing the game, not the people you already know. None of my IRL friends and family play DBD, or any video game, but I'm not talking about them. I'm talking about the 100+ people I know from just playing the game a lot, of which a good chunk are on my friend's list.

Seriously? It takes the second or third mend to even GET to exploited timers, and when the bar is gone they can continue to mend with no indication of deep wounds still being actice. You wouldnt know until the 2nd or 3rd, IF you were assuming they dont do gens injured. Which we all know survivors will do gens injured, ESPECIALLY against legion.
You just KNOW that everyone injured is still mending and not off doing gens?
Gtfo with that arguement. Unless you sit and WATCH them mend, you cant know they're ONLY MENDING for 5 mins.
Word can travel fast in communities. Where MOST casual players dont go.
Dude all it takes is 1 time for you to see the bar end, and find the guy still mending 20 seconds later. This is besides the fact that people have mouths and will say stuff to their friends. I doubt anyone who plays this game doesn't also have friends that play this game. Someone would have told them at this point.
You are defending cheaters, period. It's an exploit and people should report it. What BHVR decides to do is up to them.

I follow people that flashlight me at pallets when they are healthy. Just look ahead and figure a path that the survivor will most likely take. Probably to a pallet or window. If they run back into the spot you just were well that pallet is gone so they can't loop you.

@thesuicidefox That's complete BS.
My wife, several friends (we're in our 40s) and even my 25 year old son game regularly. And guess what? Not a single one of them ever hit a game's forums or reddit. Never. Not once. They only know about changes when the patch notes appear on a game's launcher on at the load in screen (like DbD does).
None of them hear any "gaming news" that so-called "travels fast in gaming communities." And do you know why? Because like a lot of players out there, they don't become members of any gaming community. They login, play a game, logout, go about life. They don't join clans or guilds or any of that. They play whatever game together, and that's the extent of the community: a closed circle of real life friends and family.
I'm the only one that hits forums, and outside of being here at DbD, I rarely do that anymore. I no longer hit forums or reddit for Overwatch or Paladins or any of the other games we play. Why? Because I got sick and tired of the self-serving juvenile mentality of the so-called "gaming community." The DbD "community" is wearing thin as well.
Forums and reddit are a minority of any player base. Most people just play solo, or with their own friends, and ignore a "community." That's been known for years, and has even been stated at E3 and other conventions by developers over the past 8 years or so.

So you watch your victims mend fully?
Sorry but if you can't see that survivors do a whole lot of nothing for long periods of time and you are continuously catching them when they mend you are just being willfully ignorant.
People know. Doesn't matter if they visit forums/Reddit or not. They will come across or have a friend tell them about it at some point. My entire Xbox group doesn't go to the forums or Reddit either and they ALL know about the mend bug. Before me, the guy that goes to the forums, even told them.
NEWS TRAVELS QUICKLY. At this point the mend bug is just well known. It's an exploit. Defend it however you want but 95% chance it's someone purposely abusing an exploit.
-
Flashlights are worthless if the killer has ears. They really aren't that hard to beat.
-
I know it was already changed but Spies From The Shadows should make it so that killers do no disturb crows. Or at the very least, when they do it doesn't proc the cooldown.
Calm Spirit should also act like Technician for healing skill checks. Should work in both directions (healing or getting healed). Also no screaming while you fall.
Wake Up should give you a notification when a gen is about to pop somewhere on the map, and should let you see repair progress of gens in a certain range.

Hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people play the game on a daily basis, with more joining (buying the game) every day. At best, maybe a few thousand visit the forum or reddit or whatever. So no, not everyone who runs both and says they didn't know is a liar.
News travels quickly in gaming communities even to the players that don't go to forums or Reddit. Double knife add-ons is not a common thing. Most Legion's run mixtapes or dirt. Maybe 1 knife. But both knives, unless the dude is a rank 20 he's doing it on purpose to exploit. So yes they are liars. Not to mention the first time you use it should be pretty obvious something is wrong when it takes a survivor minutes to mending.
-
It's an exploit just like Sloppy Butcher bug that would crash the game. At this point it's well known and anyone that runs double knife add-ons and says they didn't know is a liar.

@Peanits Should Freddy players expect a new character?
-
Apples.

No Mither should be a BP booster for all categories. Like Distressing is for killers. They can't earn more than the max but they can earn a boost to what they earn. Also give bonus BP in survival if they escape. It'd make sense with WGLF being a BP multiplier perk.
-
I know about it but never use it because running to the middle is like asking to die. Most of the time you won't even make it to the tree. I'll just stick to looping jungle gyms.
