Not sure how people are judging the survivor's gameplay without seeing things on their side. That's probably the silliest thing I've seen people do on here.
Also, with all the cuts it's hard to judge how fast the gens really went. And it didn't seem like they went TOO fast. Third gen pops at least (can't say for sure, since there are cuts!) 106 seconds after the second gen, and 112 seconds after the first gen. That's plenty of time for one person to finish that third gen on their own.
But what SO MANY PEOPLE fail to realize is that gens are going to get done. That's the survivors main job. Unless you're playing against Potatoes, gens will get done. 90% of the time, you aren't going to stop the first gen from popping, and expecting to be able to is silly. As the trial goes on, the map becomes smaller and more manageable. Your job isn't to stop 3 gens from getting done, it's to stop 5 gens from getting done and preventing them from getting out the exit gate. You'll literally have games where you get your first hook after the fourth gen pops, and still wind up with a 3K because the game is designed for gens to get done, but then for the map pressure to be higher as more gens get completed.
Furthermore, him having spirit fury doesn't help him much. it activates once all match, and that's 5 minutes in. That's half of his perk loadout that didn't get to do much, and Corrupt Intervention deactivated 2 minutes into the match. I don't think enduring is particularly good on Myers anyway, since you can just stalk them across the pallet. Like yeah... go ahead and wait to throw it while I get my tier 3. He also spends a lot of time chasing Ace after the DS - making him the obsession - instead of heading to someone else who was uninjured and has a lot more stalking available -- he's a Myers, he doesn't NEED survivors to be injured to down them. And since he had STBFL, hitting Ace loses him stacks.
Yes his build wasn't very good. SF/Enduring is outdated, especially because they reduced the pallet count. PYWF/Nemesis is better.
That said gen speeds are a bit ridiculous. I'm hoping we get to see this "early game warm up" mechanic sooner rather than later. Against a good SWF you have no chance to get pressure when 3 gens pop your first chase. This coming from a survivor main.
-
Corrupt is not a viable gen slowing perk. It's a zoning perk. Big difference.

Both perks are fine.

LOL You can't be serious with this. It is ENTIRELY the devs fault you can't see her. She is almost pitch black in her p3 skin. Do you even play killer? Have you ever seen a Claudette become invisible in a bush on swamp, Yamaoka, or MacMil?

Is this a troll thread for attention ? You already got 5 pages, so you can admit to it if this is the case.
Nope. Just a statement of facts.
-
Why did you post a blank image?
-
You do actions at a base of 1 charge per second.
- Gens = 80 charges
- Healing = 16 charges
- Hooks = 6 charges (though it appears bugged)
- Totems = 14 charges
- Gates = 20 charges
When you co-op repairs you get a 15% debuff each, so 0.85 c/s for 2 of you. But it's doubled since there are 2 of you, so you are applying 1.7 c/s collectively.
Healing does not have any debuff, so you do it at 2 c/s. 16/2 = 8 seconds for a 2 man heal. You can't do more than 2 person heal, but it can be faster/slower depending on buffs/debuffs.

So because a person wants to play with a strealthy and selfish playstyle, they must be the spawn of satan? That's what I'm getting from this.
You don't have to always play as a team in DBD. Playing as a team definitely helps and works better, but some people prefer to be a lone wolf and only care about their own survival, and that is fine, they can play that way if they like. It is a game after all.
If you wanna play stealthy that's fine. But don't act like that takes any degree of skill as Claudette. As Dwight, yes. As a character that literally disappears into darkness, nope.
And they don't have to save me you are right. In fact I SAY THIS ALL THE TIME. You should read my comments in other threads. The difference is they were planning to save me, but instead of acting with urgency and doing what should be done first, they run off and Self Care then by the time they come back another person is already hooked and the killer has come back to my hook. You missed your chance to be altruistic by engaging in very poor tactics. Tactics that are encouraged with Self Care, which is why it is one of the worst survivor perks in the game. It basically teaches you to be a bad player (same as playing Claudette in general).
@Mooks said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1319307#Comment_1319307
Claudette is one of a few free characters and actually pretty likable both lore- and style-wise. She was the first character I played as, when I didn’t really know/realize that whole Blendette thing. I also dropped SelfCare very fast.
your arguments are just wonky, „even Claudettes in their brightest cosmetics are harder to see than other characters“? Really? Even pink hat and white jacket?
Yea because a pink hat doesn't make the rest of you completely invisible. LOL

This post is getting out of hand imo. Its not Claudette's fault shes able to immerse in her surroundings so easily.
If/When the devs change her to be SIGNIFICANTLY more visible I might relent. But until then (which I doubt will ever happen BTW), I'm going to kill every Claudette I find.

@DelsKibara said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1319300#Comment_1319300
How can they ruin your experience by playing a character in the game?
Yeah, Blendettes are definitely an annoyance, but they don't ruin anyone's experience.
They definitely could make her clothing slightly brighter but again, it's not a big enough issue for it to "ruin" anyone's experiences.
They know they are ruining the game for the killer when they pick that character. Nobody picks this character because they like her. They pick her to have EZ camouflage. Anyone that says otherwise IS A LIAR.
Not to mention that as survivor all I even see Claudettes do is run to a corner and Self Care. So even as survivor they are ruining my game, leaving me to die on a hook when they could easily save me.
-

Being obsessive about it sounds pretty unhealthy to me to the point of telling people who main the Survivor to effectively go screw themselves. Especially from this thread.
Nothing unhealthy about giving people what's coming to them. Don't want to get tunneled? Don't play Claudette. Pretty simple.
@thrawn3054 said:

And if you limited your disdain to them it would at least be understandable. You've flatly stated that regardless of how they play or what they are wearing you'll tunnel them. So yeah, that's kind of unhealthy. I despise Ash and Steve. But I treat them based on how that person is playing them.
If you pick Claudette, there is no excuse. We all know people pick this character for the obvious advantage she has when hiding. Even the brightest Claudettes are harder to see than most other characters.
Tell me why I should "limit my disdain"? Claudette is a Claudette. Doesn't matter how they play, they are gonna die. Pick a respectable character if you want some mercy.

What's unhealthy about wanting to kill people that play as the EASIEST SURVIVOR TO USE.
Hiding with Claud takes absolutely 0 skill and is probably the lamest way to play this game in every conceivable way. I'd rather get face camped by Insid Bubba in the basement than deal with immersed Claudettes.

Tbh if they're new to the game then they shouldn't be in red rank games.
Even if the OP isn't joking, playing killer is stressful and if he plans to target a specific character it's probably his way to blow steam. The game then becomes a lot less stressful as his only goal is to sacrifice a specific survivor, rather then caring about the result of the match.

@thesuicidefox this is why i dont believe it's good to heal against legion. you get ruin value, no gen progression, and i'm injured within 10 seconds of seeing you again. not worth the time i lost to heal. more efficient to do gens injured and play smart.
if my teammates were not by me when i get ff hit, there's no killer instinct. to boot, they're still gonna run early so if you want that hit you're gonna have to get lucky and guess where they are quick enough that you still have enough power left cos if not that's a good chase on me gone for nothing. very risky and add-on dependent.
i like ruin on legion, but it's too situational. if it's still up that's really good but i'd rather not take a gamble with totem spots. pop seems better to me.
my build is bbq, infectious fright, monitor and pop/corrupt intervention/thana.
If you do gens while injured then you do then 16% slower from Thana and constantly exhausted from Blood Echo.
Basically I put you in a catch 22. Either you waste time healing, or you take longer to do gens. If I come to the gen you were working on you lose progress and it's harder to make up for it. Plus you are injured, basically one shot all game.
You force them to chose between 2 time sinks. Either way they are slowed down.

@Fraudette said:
I am now regretting my choices to level up Claudette first 🤔 LMAO
Now you must repent.
-
@BumBumOReily said:
@thesuicidefox anecdotal evidence is exactly that. anecdotal. I've consistently escaped vs. legion but my experience doesn't prove anything, so lets be objective.
it's incredibly easy to spread out and make spreading the damage incredibly difficult to pointless to try. you hit me and leave? my teammates can just run early if they start to hear the tr and all you get is a healthy surv halfway across the map whilst you enjoy that lengthy stun. you decide to chase me still? cool. I get a sprint burst and now i don't have to mend.
as far as blood echo goes, it definitely makes a difference but most decent survivors dont need the 2nd chance exhaustion perks give you to loop for a long time. it's also got a hefty cooldown of 60 secs at t3.
thana is already a b-tier slowdown perk and on top of that is almost countered by resilience (a popular perk due to the vault build) at everyone injured and levels out at 3. a couple great skillchecks also completely negates any slowdown the perk would have given.
personally, i just cant see legion being as high as you say. i'd give him mid c at best.
I escape plenty of Legions too, but that's because they play poorly. Other Legions who play them CORRECTLY are a lot harder to escape. And yes there is a correct way to play the game, that being the way that is most optimal/efficient/effective.
Thana isn't a bad perk, and on Legion it's especially strong because of how easily they can keep you injured. Plus the whole point of the perk is to force survivor to spend time healing, so even if you hit greats you are still not doing gens for at least 16 seconds.
If your teammates run early, my Ruin kicks in and negates any progress they made. I actually want them to run early. Plus I often use duration so good luck running soon enough and far enough to actually get away from Frenzy. Ruin adds more value to Thana because now it takes longer to make up the difference.
The simple fact is that majority of Legions don't play the killer correctly. Play against a Legion that knows what they are doing with a solid build and it will be a much different game.

I do have to agree that the BBQ,Thana,Blood Echo and Ruin Combo seems like quite a decent build and i definetely will try this one out.
I'm still quite interested in how well this build works against good survivors.
It's pretty devastating. Use Smiley Face Pin not Legion Pin, because Legion Pin makes it so they can't heal and thus they do gens. I just go with power recovery and power duration usually.

Similiar to stealth killers, legion has an easy time getting that first hit in.Problem is to actually down them.
Good survivors know how to spread out, especially if they are aware that the killer is a legion.Add Sprint burst, balanced landing or lithe to the mix and you have an extremely hard time to connect your frenzy hits.
Even if you get all injured at some point, good survivor will stay injured because they know healing is a waste of time.Having Dead Hard makes this an even more effective strategy.
Also using his frenzy as a mobility tool means risking to miss out a chance to hit grouped up survivors with it.
Legion really is way weaker than you might think in my opinion
I run Thana and Blood Echo, both of which punish survivors for staying injured. It forces them to spend time healing, which then I can easily re-injure them with Frenzy. It's a massive time sink to heal against Legion and both of these perks force you to do that.
Blood Echo counters all the Exhaustion perks. If they refuse to heal, this perk will be active pretty much all the time. I encountered maybe 2 DH's the last 5 games as Legion because of Blood Echo.
Add in Ruin and now Thana is even stronger. Now they have to go find a totem AND heal to have a chance to do gens.
And you only want to use Frenzy for mobility if you already know where survivors are. If I see them on a gen with BBQ, I get close until I'm sure I can reach with Frenzy, then use Frenzy to get there quicker and get free hits.
Again I consistently 4k merciless with Legion. CONSISTENTLY. I've had like 3 survivors escape out the gate in my last 20 games (and a few more that got hatch but I could have played to avoid it if I so chose). I don't need to play scummy either, which is what Scott had to do to win every one of those Bubba speed limiter games. I can actually play super duper fair as Legion and still win convincingly. It's almost easy mode, comparable to playing Freddy.

You do realize that other characters do the exact same thing don’t you?.There for you shouldn’t target a specific character just for evading you.I mean it’s like telling a kindergartner Santa isn’t real which I’m pretty sure you know very well that would be really cruel and mean to say to a small child.

Would you still tunnel me?

If the answer is yes, then I tunnel you.

Better then Clown?Yeah, agree but the rest definetely a no from me
Bubba has a instadown but can't really pressure multiple people at once like Legion.I would say that they are more or less on the same power level
Demo has his portals that can help him traversing the map really fast on a very low cooldown and a bit with tracking. His Shred is an amazing zoning tool.Demo is waaaay better than legion
Plague can infect all survivors and then use her 1 free corrupt purge to force all survivors to heal at the fountains. She's the kind of killer that can win her games easily by snowballing with her corrupt purge.
Wraiths power is really good for hit and run tactics.
Bubba insta-down only works if you let him do it. Run to pretty much any loop in the game and all he gets is a faster pallet break.
Demo has 0 pressure. His portals don't help him that much because of how slow it is and the fact he needs to be on a portal to travel to another portal. Shred is easy to dodge. His tracking tool can be taken out, meaning you are forced to put them out of sight which negates tracking since the survivor won't be close enough.
Plague also has no pressure. I've been finding that if you over-cleanse and force her to take Corrupt early you can seriously ######### her over by removing the only pressure tool she has. Everyone gets sick, taps a gen, cleanse, get sick again, cleanse, now you are all healthy and she has Corrupt. Just hide until it's gone and now there is nothing she can do. She also has to go out of her way for Corrupt, so if it's off in some random corner of the map then you don't even need to do that. Just stay broken until the end of the game and yeet out the door. She also gets 0 pressure from injured survivors since they can cleanse, where against a normal killer the survivors have to spend time healing.
Wraith is 100% loopable and Spine Chill completely negates his power.
Legion is loopable but he has the option to just say ######### it and use Frenzy to find a new target. I do this all the time if I feel like I've spent too much time on someone. Much more effective tracking than Demo, and map pressure because now the survivor is injured and must heal (unlike Plague where they can cleanse in 6 seconds and be healed). Not to mention the added time needed to mend. He is also shorter than both Bubba or Plague making it easier to mind game around certain tiles. Legion can traverse the map pretty quickly too.
Legion is solid B tier. They are FAR from the worst killer in the game.

because she is also a woman
It's because she is the dumbest character. She is literally invisible on almost every map. All Claudettes do is hide in a bush and Self Care through Sloppy and 4 stacks of Dying Light/Thana. She takes 0 skill to play and she is the worst teammate you could ever have.

Nah, he still is awesome, just a little more strange now, although that happens to everyone after a while tbh.
PS, I'm pretty sure this is a joke.
Not a joke.
If you are a Claudette in my game you die. No freebies. I will throw the game if I have to.

From what I have seen is use the no hag illusion traps add-on+ longer trap duration, put the traps on gens, and pray they let you do it twice.
You have to delay the teleport to give them time to actually get on the generator.
This add-on lets you teleport to traps while the trap doesn't give away sign of being there and if your doing it right you will teleport on top of them before they have time to react to spine chill going off.
I was planning to do this with Ghostface, but this actually sounds like a better idea. Now I just need to dump some BP into Hag to get Discordance.

Getting 4Ks as Legion doesn't prove that his power is really weak.
I mean look at Scottjund and his 30 or something win streak as speed limiter Leatherface.Does that mean Leatherface is fine?No
Legion and Clown are easily the weakest killers currently
Legion's power is to slow down the game. You win by spreading damage. If you keep survivors mending/healing then they aren't doing gens. It is indeed very strong if you use it properly. Definitely above Clown, Bubba, Demo, Plague, and Wraith who all have no way to slow down the game.
Legion is a solid mid/upper mid tier.

Legion second worst in the game??
thesuicidefox playing Dead by Daylight: Special Edition at XboxClips.cothesuicidefox playing Dead by Daylight: Special Edition at XboxClips.cothesuicidefox playing Dead by Daylight: Special Edition at XboxClips.cothesuicidefox playing Dead by Daylight: Special Edition at XboxClips.coI don't get how people say Legion is bad. I 4k pretty consistently with them at rank 1. Legion is NOT that weak. If you are sitting there using Frenzy on one guy, then canceling and chasing them, yea you are gonna have a bad time. SPREAD THE DAMAGE.

I'd need to time it to verify what you just said.
But considering how much distance you can get off a hit normally, a solid 6 seconds of distance (which I KNOW it's not less than) is still enough time to get to another tile and drop a pallet. Maybe not enough to get out of a dead zone with no good adjacent ties, but that's kinda the whole point of bringing the perk. That and dealing with groups.
I'm saying drop it to 6 tokens max (more fair to survivors) and then you only lose 3/2/1 tokens when you hit the obsession (more fair to killers). At 6 tokens it's not ridiculous, at 8 it's a bit OP. Especially on killers already good in a chase.
