I think he is a bit overpowered, but still, pretty cool.
-
It's cool, but I don't really want "gamemodes" in DBD.
-
oh man I need to see it
-
Both of the ideas are very bad imo.
-
wut how dare you put daddy myers tier 2
-
Hahahaha this thread is so good oh my god, I am dying.
-
I made 2 lists, Most Powerful and Most Fun.
(my opinion)Most Powerful
Nurse
Billy
Huntress
Myers
Hag
Clown
Doctor
Pig
Leatherface
Trapper
Freddy (I find Freddy stronger than Wraith)
WraithMost Fun
Myers
Huntress
Nurse
Billy
Clown
Freddy
Doctor
Hag
Pig
Trapper
Wraith
Leatherface -
ate noodles, then something something caught his attention..
-
Hillbilly: He's chainsaw instadowns survivors and he can get to a survivor sprinting from a long range.
Nurse: She is very skill-based.
Pig: She is unique and stealthy, though the best part is the teabeg.
Wraith: He can scare survivors and come from nowhere.
Huntress: I love ranged characters in general, she is very useful in looping and long range.
Freddy: He is probably the most fun killer to play, he isn't really good, but alot of fun.
Myers: I main him, can scare survivors and be very, very useful at EW 3.
Leatherface: Can insta-down multiple survivors at the same time.
Doctor: Can easily track survivors who escaped him.
Clown: Gains a huge advantage in chases, able to slow sown survivors.
Hag: Can keep gens, hooked survivors, etc' safe from survivors if placed right.
-
Of course having a night of passionate choking and thrusting from Daddy Myers.

If self-care no longer wakes up, then generators would be the only hope. In Freddy's world, you don't make progress if he doesn't want you to. Generators will still wake up survivors, but Freddy won't let them continue making progress on the objective while they sleep. I hope that's better : )Oh, forgot that missing skill checks wakes you up.

That's a good idea then.

As somebody that plays very unconventional Freddy builds at high ranks with mixed success (add-on reliant), here are some of my suggestions. Bear in mind that I'm attempting to bring Freddy up to the level of the other high tier killers (Nurse, Billy, and Huntress). This will look absolutely mad, but when a killer is this weak, drastic measures must be taken to make them a threatening presence at all times.Freddy Buffs:
- Survivors in the dream world no longer make progress on generators, however, they can still trigger skill checks as normal when working on them (lengthens the game).
- Dream transition reduced to 4 seconds (add-ons adjusted to compensate).
- Terror radius of Freddy lowered from 24 meters to 16 meters - lullaby remains the same.
- In the dream world, X number of pallets are converted to phantom pallets that a survivor can interact with, but they cannot stun or interrupt Freddy as he just phases through them (these are highlighted for Freddy).
- Survivors in the dream transition have all actions interrupted and/or frozen.
- Survivors dragged into the dream world for the 3rd time and beyond gain the 'Exposed' status.
- Survivors in the dream world cannot recover exhaustion (you're asleep).
- Freddy gains a 3% movement speed boost for every survivor brought into the dream world.
- Survivors on the ground must be woken up before they are healed.
- Awake survivors can no longer heal other survivors in the dream world.
- Freddy's auto-aim will now prioritize injured characters in the dream world.
- Awake survivors can no longer perceive the effects of Freddy's movement in the dream world (sounds, shaking grass, etc).
Any of those would make me super happy, and if all of them went through.. holy crap he'd be strong, even in this loop heavy meta.
"Survivors in the dream world no longer make progress on generators, however, they can still trigger skill checks as normal when working on them (lengthens the game)."
Then why would you like to trigger skill checks on the generator if it doesn't progress it?
My English kinda sucks so maybe I am misunderstanding something.. -

I'd also recommend the following:- Survivor perks are downgraded by one tier when they're in the Dream World. If they're at tier I, then they become disabled. I don't see why Survivor perks should be disabled entirely just because they were caught by a Killer they can't even see.
- The Nightmare gets a passive buff the more Survivors are in the Dream World. Maybe a movement speed buff or faster recovery from attacks, or even a combination of buffs that are unlocked based on the number of Survivors in the Dream World.
- Survivors no longer wake up when they're hooked.
The two last ideas are great.
Though I still think perks should'nt be active in the Dream World because being in it doesn't gives you a big disadvantage for now..
And making the perks go a tier down won't be too noticeable because you'll be able to get out of the Dream World soon or later.. so for the limited time that they are in the Dream World, I feel like they should have a big disadvantage. -

I have a big problem with the idea that an invisible Killer should be able to grab Survivors off generators. When I think about it, you're right.
It'll make it unfair for the survivor and will not be skill-based.
Took it down.

For Freddy yes
For survivors ..less -

No, are you stupid.. do you really think it'll take them a year!!??
Probably a generation or two..
-
Post the question here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/4487/forum-q-a-question-submission-june-18th#latest
Edit: you're too late ¯_(ツ)_/¯ -
After playing Myers sometimes my eyes gets blurry a little.
-
I think those ideas are good.
She really do needs a small buff and I think that could make her a little better. -
Beautiful.
-
Illuminati confirmed.
-
First thing, he just has all of the perks.. he is not a cheater. 🤦
Second thing, you still report players in-game. -
You spent money?
Here's your reward, a DUNNNN sound! -
Oh my god why am I so stupid..
I need to remember: "If it's Jack, It's a kek" -
You can't pre-order it yet.
One you'll be able to buy it and you'll own both Deathgarden and DbD, you'll get the items. -
Pfft, survivors these days..

I don't think it's about @swenpai being stubborn. For all we know the survivors were teasing, taunting and teabagging him at any stage during the match. So for him at that very moment it's a much bigger deal to just simply let the survivor go. Then would come the post game insults of "ez" etc, just to further humiliate. It depends on the individual really. We have all been there. As for a solution, I think you just need to be a bit more patient for the hatch closing mechanic to be fully implemented @swenpai. I think it worked well in the PTB.
Oh, thank you.

Now I know what happened, I tell you this, hit him immediately and he goes in the hatch. Do it. Why? Well 1) he already reached... but more importantly 2) he’s t-baggging for a reason. I just ignore it but sometimes others can’t. He has a MASSIVE EGO. He WILL WAIT. And he WANTS you to wait and suffer as well. Hitting him instantly makes him lose this mental battle. If he insults you after, or says EZ......
Then you know you won.
Haha, Good idea

If you don't want to waste 1 hour, just hit, goddamnit.
Stop being so stuborn.
But if I'd hit the survivor would leave..
Do you want to waste years of your life looking at him in the eyes with no chance of killing him, or to let him leave, get your points, and go to the next match?
You do not understand the point of the thread.
I understand it’s a cry. I want to win they want to escape wha wha wha, hatch stand off means you’ve lost if you want to waste your time do so but don’t blame the survivors, bet they found the hatch because you camped it first.
best bet is to fake a hatch camp and wait for them to show up and boom there some
The survivor reached the hatch first and just teabeg'd there.

Damn that was a shot across the bow.

@swenpai said:
Hey,
So as you can report a player, there is an option to give a thumbs up for playing well..
Maybe make is so a player that receives a thumbs up will get a notification. Also maybe make it so that near the player's name will appear how much thumbs up did he get so players can know what to expect from the player.
You can thumb up them the same place you just use the thumbs up instead of thumbs down. I don't think they do notifications right now.
I know that, the idea was just the notification.

Myers.
He is unique, fun and very powerful. -

That, or you're fresh as daisies to this game. There is simply no way in hell that you've played more than a match and came out of it thinking "Killer is the power role here, Survivors are weak and fun to catch, there are no problems with the game, the gen pace is fine" - not unless you've played inebriated.
Have a watch of this.
Enjoy the sobering....lol ######### are you talking about?
He said he still wins and the game is fun for him. Where did he state that killers were strong in those two sentences? kek.

I am a killer main, 150h in. :-)
Killer is abit less powerful than survivor, I can agree but it is prettt balanced still.
The killer might be abit more challenging.
Only 150 hours in? Ignorance is truly bliss.

I completely agree!
The music of being in a chase always makes you stressed and makes the game 10x times scarier.
The theme itself is great.
I love how when you choose survivor it is played with a normal guitar and if you choose killer it's with an electric guitar, love it!
