It won't pick up undetectable targets. Same as current Object.
Wonder if itll still light up. Current object when ya look at undetectable it lights up you just don't see the aura. Thatll make it interesting vs nurses calling since a lot of ghostfaces and sometimes michaels smack you then come back with nurses.

Please, explain in great and excruciating detail what keys have to do with anything I said. Or will you actually admit you're just whattabouting and really should be complaining about keys in a thread about keys?
Your the one who said moris are stronger than anything rn.

Yes, with Demo being the first one.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2022711#Comment_2022711
Could be possible, but I think that they will do more to his Add Ons. Wraith only got a few Changes, Blight was a POV-Fix, which took longer by default and simply goes out when ready.
But for Demo, most of his Add Ons are not useful at all. The best ones are the brown Add Ons and there is little to no point in using an Add On which is green Rarity or higher.
So I would guess that they will do more to his Add Ons than compared to Wraith for the upcoming Midchapter.
Rat liver finally basekit? Lol

As I said, the Devs said they dont compare them. And Moris were way stronger than Keys.
A Mori can remove one Survivor at the start of the game and the game is over. This one Survivor did not even have a game. If multiple Survivors escape via a Key, they already did a good portion of their Objective (if not all of them). Or, because Killers like to compare Hooks with Gens:
A Killer can get a Mori after 8% of their Objective, Survivors can get a 3 man escape after 80% of their Objective.
Even if multiple Survivors escape with a Key, the Killer at least had a game.
Hasn't it been proven time and time again though that the survivors objective is the way faster one? SInce finding first survivor hitting them twice and hooking them if the 3 other survivors all were on gens thats 3 done probably already) say 20 seconds to find survivor they loop for about 15 smack them it takes 20 seconds to catch back up because speed burst another 15 second loop then 10 second hook. All 3 gens pop and this is using average loop time some loops can take far longer on maps like gideon. So now if you kill 2 survivors its already a draw if they find hatch. A mori takes far longer as you have to do that whole process twice which could easily cost you the last two gens. A full 12 hook game if you wanna mori them all.Against a very good survivor team the key just comes into play way quicker. The devs even address the 3 gens popping at the start "the killer shouldn't expect to have 5 gens left when they hook the first survivor". The killers strongest at a 3 gen which a key can just circumvent when one survivor dies. So i just can't see a mori being faster.

@Phasmamain said:
At this point the perk is kinda an optional hard mode. I’m fine with that and do use it from time to time
The problem with no mither is its not really hard on one person it kinda hinders the whole team because that guys 1 hit so cant rely on him to loop for to long against a amazing killer. Also oni its just death to everyone Lol.
-
@MadLordJack said:
Mori's should stay where they are now. An offering shouldn't be a free win, and as it stands it's still much stronger than nothing because you can use them to tunnel through a DS, which isn't fair but it's better than before.
Actually id argue keys are stronger then current moris as 3 gens can get done in chase one so if say you do manage to kill 2 survivors the hatch spawns on 2 gens left. Survivors just hide till they find hatch and instaescape. Draw game from 1 item. And the amount of times i 3gen a team because they made a mistake and kill one and the other 3 escape through hatch. I shouldn't have to literally tunnel to avoid a item. Which doesn't even work since they can pick the key up. (Not to mention theres 5 chests in a match so thats a 5x chance to find a key naturally)

The mori animations are generally fun and it breaks up the gameplay a little, even lore wise the entity granting the final survivor to the killer as a reward works. Could even only work if you have one alive and the gates arnt powered say.
Also, i would probably be willing to pay for some new mori animations down the line.
Poor original 4 killers moris need reworked. *wraith grabs by leg and wacks 4 times* lol

ohhh I've been there with Shadowborn myself and had to go cold turkey in order to prevent myself from using it. The feeling of speediness was just so addictive and it took me quite a while to get used to it, and I remember just feeling so slow all the time.
The only killer that I'd use Shadowborn on now is Nurse pretty much (possibly Blight, but I don't really play Blight, cos the bouncing gives me a headache!).
Quick question doesn't legion also have their own shadowborne like fov in feral frenzy do these stack? I don't have shadowborne on legion yet.

Actually that 1% is what you completed.
For some reason second wind doesn't count for the people as healing for a health state, it has to be done with your hands and no medkit.
Hmm maybe? I never got the chance to heal someone to find that out. Sucks if thats how it works. Since ftp lists it as healing.

A very good console nurse/blight have my upmost respect considering their more limited than their pc counterparts. So when a console player does rise up and prove how good we consoles are i love it! Seriously though even if were at a disadvantage doesn't mean were instantly bad.

Went to the game spawned on god pallet instantly dropped it and picked it up. Then when killer came i waited for them to m1 then stun them then lithed over the pallet and noped away.

Both tombstones can be hard countered by lockers besides all the other things you can do againt them. Knowing how they actually work helps a lot to counter them.
Its so funny when a tombstone myers is chasing you with the tombstone piece so you just jump into the locker and they cant do anything and did all that increased stalk for nothing.

No exploits are healthy for a game, regardless of the 'skill' involved. No double standards either. If you make an excuse for this one, you'll have to also make an excuse for pre-patch Victor being able to down people in lockers.
I mean some survivors say stretched res is fair but j flick blight needs removed. One you edit your resolution so you can see over loops. The other actually involves calculating when to increase your dpi and muscle memory of the full 180 so.... both need fixed but stretched has been around for far longer.

I very rarely see hook suicides. Saying that those are common is a blatant lie.
Ill let you know most of my kills on freddy start from a hook suicide because survivors just see freddy and peace out lol. And i don't even play freddy the cheese way others do just spamming snares at loops and forever freddy.

I was believing you until you said Pyramid Head. I'm sorry that you are unable to cope with a overheat mechanic.
In terms of power yeah pyramid heads up there with the others. He can end chases quickly by just holding m2 at every pallet, and ignores stuff like bt and ds which can slow other killers down. Idk what rank you play in. And billy on the kill rate charts literally gets beat by pig. And nah i still play him just making sure you don't overhype him and try to make him seem like he's better than he is. A 50% kill rate and 4.53 pickrate is less pickrate then nurse and less kill rate then....a lot of killers.
-
I saw it a lot with old pyramid because every loop was m1 or m2 and either way the survivor gets hit. Adding the little animation for ph to take the blade out of the ground instead of the immediate swing he could do before made him far fairer.
-
For being michael myers i wish the boi was actually threatening.

@Axe said:
how would they fix it? How would the "fix" work for people who play on 4:3 and 16:10 monitors?
They could at least limit the ratios that arent monitor ones. Like the 1:1 ratio.
Like tf is this? (1080 by 1080)
-
Double window shack. Immediate loss.
-
ON topic though with the deactivation conditions id be fine with making ds timer infinite and have the heal only deactivate ds if its a full one. Since they still cant fully progress their objective and if say a wraith or gf decides to be sneaky they have to wait for the survivor to fully heal before smacking them.
-
I mean i paid for MoM knowing itd be changed quickly and i didnt go around complaining demanding a refund.

Jessu christ Bro, I am aware. I was born before the whole stretch res debacle
What part of "I dont care" you don't get?
You won't change my mind due to my background / environment I grew up in.
So you grew up in a environment that exploited stuff for competitive advantages? Basically a environment of cheaters/exploiters?

Yeah both sides use it but say we console players cant do such a thing and as a console killer i get autohaven against a 4man stretched res. Ill never catch them off guard because they stretched their resolution. Also the pc players who say don't want to go into the files and update their res for a advantage vs the people who do. Its obvious whos cheating in that regard. Fixing it means noone can use it:Which is good.

Blight flick 90* is intended. Blight going over 90* to even 180* degrees and going as far as 270* degrees is an exploit / unintended mechanic. Blight being able to pull these kind of things removes one of the best counter plays to him. End of discussion.
"The DPI lunge is plain and simple going beyond what is intended and might as well be called an exploit."
Why not unlock the potential for billy to turn 180* degrees then? If blight can, why can't he? Billy has a harder time traversing the map than Blight does. He can surely use some buffs since he's weaker than Blight.
McLean said it himself. What is not intentional is being able to turn more than you're supposed to.
If you were to remove stretch res, you would hurt both sides. Is this want BHVR wants right now? Players are desperate for more graphic settings, better FOVs and god knows what else.
The reason I don't care about stretch res is because It never impacted me negatively. Neither my survivor or my killer experience. Playing a competitive game you should expect these kind of things IMO. I have 4.3k+ hours in TF2 and played with stretch res. Now you do have to understand that the reason I don't care about stretch res is because I came from this kind of environment and see DBD as a competitive game.
------
Besides, if u want to discuss this, go to my post about the J-flick blight. This post has nothing to do about it.
I can give you the link.
So cheating to see over loops you arent supposed to see is fine because "bhvr doesnt allow us to do it normally"? You know how bad that sounds? SOME loops are balanced around neither side seeing eachother.
Like this. If this was any killer taller then pig there is no mindgame. Because you went into the game files and modified them for an advantage. Aka:cheating.

And being absolutely disgusted, angry, and mad about other people's resolution
This is one of the least problems DBD has.
Mate, grow a pair and move on....
-----------
I was absolutely amazed by how you responded to me in my previous reply.
Anyone can tell you stretched res is cheating (at least i think thats what this is) allowing you to see over loops you shouldn't be able to see over. And survivors want blight 180 flick removed when that just uses your dpi not literally going into the game files and updating the resolution. My thing:both need fixed.

The only problem I have with this is that Myers can potentially build up Infinite T3 or Infinite T3 + Judith's Tombstone against a single survivor and his power affects the whole team.
Myers shouldn't locked out of his power if drains all the living survivors, but there should be some reason he has to go find and stalk other survivors for those addons.
Well with his addon rework we dont know if tombstone and infinite ew3 will even still exist. If they do rework those (which i like infinite ew3) then he needs some good basekit buffs.
-
On the topic the rules behind exploiting are weird. Stuff like old wake up wasnt considered bannable. But nurse using the addon that had a chance to make you move at light speed was. What differentiates the two? Using a addon that could (not a guarantee) make you move very fast vs a perk that allowed you to do everything 15% quicker. I don't remember if infinite mend legion was bannable.
https://youtu.be/UDF1laqgsx4 -
@Mandy said:
If exploiting a bug gains a competitive advantage and someone uses that regularly (so obviously knows about it), why shouldn't they be banned?
The whole point is where it gains an advantage, for example when you could split the cosmetics that didn't result in a ban because it gained no advantage.
So stretched res bannable when?

It wasn't really a buff, but just a little thing to help make it easier to use. Sometimes people finish a medkit with a syringe or styptic and are unable to use it, it would fix that.
The trapper thing would be pretty cool and helpful.
That would also be nice and convinient. We could even have a daily and challenge reminder by pressing escape so we can see our progress towards them in a game.
Btw, you can collect one daily at a time, just click the little check mark
The Only problem with this is youd get 2 heals from a medkit. The first 16 charges to heal yourself once then the syringe heal.

You gave up a little too quickly. I still main Billy and his overheat isn't even noticeable unless you use your saw too much. Quit complaining about a killer that is still at the top.
*looks at the latest charts where it goes nurse then spirit then blight then freddy then doctor then pyramid head then hag* at the top?
-
Honestly i miss playing against old billy as the matches were enjoyable and billy mains were very skilled. But they had to kill one of the more balanced killers so now were in a meta of less counterplay. Billy had no anti loop, Could be looped to force out a m1. And punished you for being out of position against him. Id love to go back to those days instead of a freddy snaring every loop. Or a stridor spirit m1ing into a down after like 10 seconds.

Currently running Ruin + Undying + Thanatophobia + BBQ and it's a damn dirty build on its own but throw on Iridescent Button + any other preferred add-on and now you're really rockin. Sometimes I swap BBQ for Discordance as well, and/or swap out Undying for for Surge.
Overall this build gives you a lot of info and ability to keep the survivors working hard for very little gain.
First, Iridescent Button: This is gonna worry and confuse the survivors the entirety of the match with your map-wide terror radius. Feral Frenzy already gives you a loop advantage but on top of this, you're gonna destroy every pallet you vault, shutting down that loop forever.
Thanatophobia: Everyone being good and injured as Legion is so good at doing is gonna make them work harder to mend, harder to cleanse, harder to repair, etc... This helps protect your totems a bit too by giving you more time to get over and stop a cleanse, or chase people off gens and allow Ruin to work its magic.
BBQ: Obviously, information is king. Hook someone, get a glimpse at where everyone else is, allowing you to protect a gen, your totems, and of course make more people bleed.
It's not foolproof obviously. Top skill players expect bbq and can counter it. Most players will also remember to test for Ruin as soon as they get on a gen, and if it's there, they'll hunt for totems. So, this build potentially can leave you with just 1 beneficial perk, which is why i sometimes swap in Surge and/or Discordance.
First no enduring legion? Lol
-
@Chchchcheryl said:
Enduring is god tier on Legion imo because lunging through a pallet either gets you a hit or a damn short 'fatigue' because the pallet stun just replaces it. I wouldn't take it off

Against good survivors an oni in his power is more threatening as survivors know to abuse loops billy cant chainsaw around forcing him to either overheat or m1. Feel both have their checks and balances but as someone who has a lot of hours on both i feel onis more threatening.

Im done with this discussion as about half the replies are angry people thinking they were good with billy and refusing to accept that they werent and arent.
Damn imagine saying killers like scott otz and tru3 are bad when all 3 of them have said in the past billy didnt need overheat. And otz is a tourney player.
-
If billy was considered "overperforming" in the devs eyes. Freddy spirit and huntress are dead. Billy had no antiloop. No slowdown. All he had was map pressure. And even then he was easy to loop and make it so his chainsaw got no value. But instead of addon passing him they went with the meme "he has a chainsaw why doesn't it run out of gas or overheat" so i wouldn't get my hopes up for the future. I quit billy just like others did because he got decimated unnecessarily.
-
Old billy was a blast to face as if you were a good looper he had no value but if you out positioned yourself you were screwed. But billy you could plan around when facing him as hes visible and has no anti loop. So he was more of a skill character than anything. Huntress will probably be a addon pass though.

90 seconds is way too long, it's just "you won't be able no matter what to use your exhaustion perk". 10 seconds would be nice for a yellow add-on, 20 for green, and 30 for purple, and why not start from brown rarity to green for these add-ons.
Yeah the time could get lowered but it seems like their removing them entirely. Clown lost his.

Or maybe because exhaustion wasn’t as broken as it used to be, there’s no reason for them to exist in DBD now.
Theres still a good bit of exhaustion perks which exhaustion addons are one of the only counters to. Dead hard: if their full health just hatchet them and they cant use it. Sprint burst: throw hatchet From long range to force its use or they lose it. Balanced landing:hit them as they vault or start to drop so they get the stagger. Its always good to have some counterplay (especially how dead hard is e to outplay rn)
