They touched my chests and tried to steal my items! Thieves! Don't worry im a hoarder! They met franklins demise!

If bloodlust gets removed beast of prey could just replace it. After 15 seconds in chase your undetectable. 20 bloodlust 1. 30 bloodlust 2, 45 bloodlust 3. (I forget the second ratios for each bloodlust) (i hope it doesnt take you 45 seconds in chase with undetectable to catch a survivor)

if you're not awfully bad you can complete free yourself action when you have some distance between you and the killer
Not at tight loops? A charolette would just wait out the time you free yourself your stunned for a second and charolette downs you. You don't? Victor downs you. Devs don't want a lose lose situation. And what if i do throw him down to avoid it? He has a 5 second cooldown and shes probably not to far away so she sends him out and downs me in 10 seconds anyway. Oneshots unnecessary and abusable.

you can free yourself while running.
You get stunned when you throw him down for a second. Charolette catches up and downs you in that time. Lose lose. Also while using struggle to get him off you can't perform other actions or it cancels it. So if you wanted to say vault itd reset.

Lore doesn't really have a lot to do with how fast they are. Demogorgon is a gigantic monster that could probably move faster than an edgy teenager with a knife.
There's probably a lot of testing that goes into testing out a killers movement speed. I remember seeing a post asking why Pyramid Head didn't move at 110%, and it's likely because they deemed that would make him too weak. Same with Plague.
I guess they decided that making Trickster 115% would make him too strong. Which seems doubtful, but hey, what do I know.
If alien ever gets added i can never see that being 115% that boi ZOOMS.

The difference is that a trap takes, what, 3 minutes? If you do that as a killer, you will lose.
And? Its horrible game design. The pig probably doesnt care their throwing the match they just want that survivor to die with nothing the survivor can do to stop it. Its like basement bubba but with no counterplay at all. You WILL die by the reverse bear trap.

[Moonwalking explanation]
Honestly thats one thing i hope that they address with pig since they said people could abuse the chase mechanic with legion but pig can still do it. I can put a trap on a survivor and just follow them until they die nothing they can do about it.

Because Charlotte can chase the survivor with Victor on their head. This could lead to a lose lose for the survivors
Waiting for the response "then make it chase based!"
-
@Profezia said:
So, right now charlotte can press a button to retrieve victor after a certain time passes and survivor doesn't remove him.
Why is that?
Why doesn't victor just finish survivor off and down them if they refuse to get rid of him, especially if they can easily perform that action any time they want?
Because what if say charolette chased you but refused to hit you before the 40 second threshold? And just waited for victor to down you? Especially at loops she cant catch up to you on.
-
Only time it shows as ugly isnt even its own fault. No power oni. Which can make a selfcare heal take 80 seconds. (Hint hint:don't heal thats the builds counter) it basically makes him a plague with a oneshot if necessary lol.

''Dead hard is problematic because... because it does what it supposed to do''.
Excuse me, what ?
Actually dead hard was made to become invincible to dodge a hit but as the games evolved people are like "im just gonna run to this pallet. Not gonna make it? Dead hard" outplayed. One dead hard can extend a chase as much as 40 seconds sometimes against good players. Against nurse and blight its like having a 3rd health state.

Nice to see another one!

Its no different with a power that easily lets you remove a health state.
How so? Michael needs to stalk to get out of tier 1 where hes 105%. Definitely not a good idea to stay in. Tier 2 hes no longer undetectable but has a small tr so if spinechill didnt work on undetectable itd still work on tier 2. And tier 3 doesn't really matter he has a huge terror radius. So spine chill hard counters michael at his weakest point.

You don't have to moonwalk to gens, just don't directly face the gen you're going to and it won't light up. I run Spine Chill every game and it's the only counter I have for Spirit and Nurse. Stealth killers like to complain that it nerfs them, but it really doesn't I have no idea what direction they are coming from and sometimes walk right into them. Just because someone is playing a stealth killer doesn't mean they deserve an easy first hit or instant down.
"Spinechill doesn't nerf stealth killers" *laughs in michael whos a 7'1 tall man who requires direct line of sight to stalk and "punishes survivors for not paying attention to their surroundings". Kinda hard to accomplish his goal when theres a perk that spoonfeeds the survivors.
-
Spinechill just shouldnt work on stealth killers. Inb4:"JUST MOONWALK". I can't, not as michael or ghostface. I have to look right at them to stalk. Sure other killers but michael already has enough problems on his plate.
-
Actually noeds bad for new survivors since they won't know to cleanse totems.

J flicks gonna be dead.

My only problem with nurse is she's not useable for like 90% of the playerbase. Maybe its just me but a killer should be mostly accessable and playable for all players. She should honestly get a rework so you don't need 5k hours to be halfway decent imo. But thats just me i don't ever see that happening.

@Mugombo said:
And make them all like the game?
Nah more like dead dawg. Dead dawg feels like the most balanced small map since the killer can actually get to each gen without walking a mile. Has some decent close to together loops for survivor. And seemed to do breakable walls the best.

LORE
lol thanks for explaining that to me. So Myers is indeed a mystically enhanced superhuman. Cool.
And pyramid heads immortal because hes the personification of guilt itself so unless the killer hes facing suddenly feels sorry for the people theyve murdered he aint going anytime soon.

Well there is so much immortal killers and some of them already died so long time ago. So i dont think anyone can win this fight.
But i know that: first Trickster will die in that battle, after him Trapper.
Idk i think david could beat up a legion member lol. They are just teenagers with knives.

I don’t think Myers is immortal. Just... really, really friggin hard to kill.
But I haven’t watched the movies so I could be wrong entirely.
The Curse of Thorn is revealed to be a mystical runic symbol based on a namesake constellation "Thorn" that could appear during the ancient feast called "Samhain" (the holiday now known as "All Hallows Eve" or simply Halloween). To prevent mass death among the tribes, one family was chosen to bear the curse. This curse would require the bearer to sacrificially murder his or her entire family, which in turn would spare their entire community from events such as plague and drought. The curse also appears to give the cursed inhuman strength and immunity from death.
-
Well michael pyramid and freddy are immortal....

Yeah no cooldowns best bet. Could write a whole thing as to why but the above got it.

18) With Clown it's his lack of map mobility. Sure, he ends chases in seconds, but that doesn't mean anything if you're on Fractured Cowshed, they pre-drop every pallet, gens go in half a minute and there's this one Blendette you can't find.
Twins because they take twice as long to do everything as every other killer except for 4man slug or Victor Camp and that's just... boring. For both sides involved, at least imo. So I like to play as fairly as possible and doing so they're just... really weak.
For the points you made on clown wouldnt michael and say ghostface be worse since they don't even offer antiloop like clown does. Michael for instance has been stated the worst for a while now. Starts out weaker then all other killers. Stalk can take forever against good teams. Has no anti loop and no map pressure. Even tier 3 isnt to threatening because hes still a m1 killer. I just always thought since clowns buff michael might be back there now. (Unless michael like tombstones at 5 gens maybe?)

Should it have been done on release? Definitely. He needs to be a lot more fun to play, and a lot stronger to play, and he needs to feel like someone with a power, not someone with a hindrance. I know I mained old Freddy, so I'm used to hindrances, but at least he was 115% and had build-in slowdown.
Does it show inconsistency? Yes, but at the same time Trapper is base-game, Trickster is a brand new DLC, it'd make sense they'd want the new DLC to be... well, not the worst killer in the game.
But something else, is that he's ass to face, and these new changes don't address anything that makes him unfun to deal with. He genuinely feels like Old Legion with extra steps, and his terror radius suffers from the Deathslinger problem of "it's a ranged killer that you can't ######### hear coming."
I miss the times of them creating a killer that's actually fun to face. They were on such a roll with Demo and Oni and then they released four duds in a row :(
I mean they brutually murdered old billy (in my opinion) who besides some addons was generally considered one of the funnest killers to face. I miss when he was one of the best tbh. Even a instasaw billy was funner then spirit

12) On the killer side, Mindbreaker. On the survivor side, We're Gonna Live Forever.
13) On the killer side to face, Prove Thyself, and to play with, NOED. On the survivor side to face, NOED, and to play with, it might be Balanced Landing (though No Mither is also a viable pick).
14) The grind- wanting to get all of my survivors P3 50 with every perk unlocked- and new chapters. Though I've had to take a lot of breaks recently cause the last chapter I've actually got any use from was Descent Beyond (Undying)- Binding of Kin and All-Kill have been... let downs, let's say.
First person ive seen in a while saying they love the grind. I try to get my friends into the game and they don't like having to scale a mountain for fun builds. Strong build theyd just need to level like bill david jake and meg. Maybe laurie to. I don't mind the grind personally because i never really experienced it starting back in 2017 i just level a new killer and survivor when they come out but i do feel for new people.

Honestly something id be hoping for michael since his whole thing was if you didnt directly see him in the movies he could pop out from anywhere. Definitely not for other killers though. 120% nurse? Nope.

6) Favourite map, hmm... Entirely depends on the killer, obviously. I think as Pyramid Head it'd definitely be Lèry's, but The Game definitely isn't bad at all either.
7) David with his shirt off 🤤
8) Either a David with a shirt on (>:( ) or Yun-Jin Lee because her scream really hurts, man.

We got tombstone pieces for that killing part. Yea stun part sound would be gone as this guy got shot in both eyes and didnt made a sound and just kept swinging.
Ghostface stunned by a pallet:annoyed sigh.
Michael stunned by a pallet:AGHHH.
So much for falling off a building getting exploded multiple times getting shot by a whole militia and taking shotgun shots.

I see people coming up with this approach rather often. It is only viable to a certain extent, as it doesn't account for pretty much anything tactical. Choice of gens to defend, double spawns, control over chase trajectory, choice of the area of the first chase, juggling targets, choice of the first hook once you got a down, etc. etc.
In a very unfortunate match (bad map with unlucky gen spot/tiles generated, paired with poor spawn point guesses) against competent survivors it might go precisely the way you described, though; it's just a rather rare case. However, this is still not a completely unwinnable scenario - depends on the gens you are left with, which you can sort of control.
Its even worse though as some m1 killers dont even get THAT luxury. For instance michael myers. Never thought id be saying this but hes probably one of the worse for this. Starts out slower than every other killer. Has to stalk for 10 seconds to get out of tier 1. Stalk slows michael down. Michael has no anti loop and no map pressure. Other examples is probably pig for being painfully obvious for a stealth killer. Old wraith was pretty bad because he moved at 120% while cloaked. Not having map pressure AND Anti loop is just a dead character at the highest level.

Unless I'm being stoopid (which happens rather often), this statement nullifies your previous claim. Your personal success as survivor against less skilled killers playing relatively weak characters is not a relevant indicator of an overall balance state.
OP complains about his struggles with M1 killers in pub matches against average red ranks. This situation is a "git gud" case, rather than "legion unplayable pls fix" sort of stuff.
Ever hear of the famous 3 gen problem with dbd? Heres the math. 4 survivors start seperate on different gens. You say find one after 30 seconds. First hit takes 20 seconds because of that being average loop time. Second hit we'll say takes the same no dead hard to extend it. Hook takes 10 seconds. Thats 80 buddy boy and the gen that had 30 seconds on it they can just finish if you don't go back to it.*gen pop gen pop gen pop* this is exclusive to m1 killers with no real map pressure. So no billy nurse spirit or any of them. So 4 gens can literally actually go in less then 2 and a half minutes? Thats why in certain games i just predrop pallets and hold w. Its just that easy. *signed 5k hours rank 1 on both killer and survivor* and i play both solo and a 4man depends on if my group is on.
-
Michael needs his own thing "whats the entity?" Lol. Because i think the lore with michael is he's uncontrollable by the entity and just has a sense to kill people. Its why the tombstone lets him just straight up kill a survivor.
-
No as many people like @MadLordJack and scott said i think on a video. Dbd is good because it gives you a sense of you can't really fight back. Only survive. Every game that has had the ability for the killer to be killed big surprise dies fairly quickly. Also honestly id hate it if i could kill michael or freddy or pyramid head wouldn't fit the lore of those 3 characters.
-
If this was blizzard the game would be a unbalanced pro play mess with a dbd league. And microtransactions gallore.
-
Its so funny when a survivor hides in a corner for me to come in and block the way and they just slowly look up at me before i ready my instadown.
-

2.Yes.
3.No?
