Im just waiting for hot fix. Hopefully they fix some of the bugs where i can clearly see a survivor on the cam but it doesnt shoot them. And cant place pods on places that make sense to put a pod. "You can put the pod here but not like 2 feet below that on this tree".

Name one good perk after Mikaela chapter. Because CoH was the only meta perk from newest chapters. After her, non of survivors brought any meta perk until we got Gabriel.
People just hates when survivors gets one good perk.
And no, MfT is not even close to og MoM. You are just overacting.
Tbf CoH on release literally killed off basically half of the roster with how fast it was especially with old healing and medkits. Wraith went from pretty high tier to middle pact lower half for instance. And DH took like what 4 years to finally die? Survivors perks can last a fairly long time balance wise. Ds took 2 years. CoH pretty close. DH 4. Adrenaline 2. SB is still kinda meta. But yeah this perk idrm. Just the stacking can get ridiculous and movement speed as a concept needs to be closely monitored perk wise.
-
Eh idk some arent so bad. Extra 1 second of overclock is nice. The one that actually lets you hear gives a bit more info. And the emp nerfing addons might be better in the new update. We'll have to see when they fully got him to a point. Broken and mangled addons are always nice. Honestly ive seen far worse.
-
Honestly i dont mind it on its own its good as a passive perk. My problem is the stacking of hope blood pact and it to literally be faster than a killer. If they made movement speeds not stack maybe itd be fine. Like even hope and it for 10% is very strong but it requires being injured at end game. You can just go to high with the others. Fix that and i think itd be a fine alternative of the exhaustion meta.

I don't remember that but i thought they are only looking for killer FoV. But this is good tho.
I really wanna use this perk on Sadako more for make her TR even smaller but FoV does not help.
Yeah i have to run monitor with shadowborne because shadowborne overrides Monitors fov changing making Monitor just a tr reducer. But then your running a perk to fix another perks supposed benefit.

I rotate my Killers. At this point in my DBD career, I get bored quickly, so I have to rotate out my Killers. I used to main Legion, Myers, Wraith and Blight; all in their own times. I'll usually devote a couple of months to practicing with the new Killer, unless it's SM who got 2 weeks.
As for Survivor, I don't play a ton but I do have Steve to P100.
The billys are always looking for more brothers. Especially when he gets the next changes (hoping they remove overheat and pass the addons again besides engravings)

Where did I imply motion sickness players not being allowed to play at all? Genuinely wondering. I have literally re-read my paragraphs and have no clue what makes you think that.
The thing that is great with your argument is that it is exactly what I asked in my initial message. I, as survivor, can't play the game in optimal conditions with the current survivor FOV, I can't see the sides of my screen very well, and sometimes I die due to it. So I would like to kindly ask the devs to give us a FOV slider as well. I hope you're not against it? Do you @supersonic853 want to prevent survivors suffering from motion sickness from playing the game, or what?
While we're at it, Windows of Opportunity is also an accessibility feature, it helps people with poor eyesight better discernate pallets. Besides, only new players really benefit from it anyway. It's not fair for all these people to waste a perk slot, right?
Of course im alright with survivors getting something as well to make it easier on their motion sickness. Im sure the devs will find a ground. I just dont think its worth a "compensition nerf" to finally bring everyone up to playability accessibility wise. Windows your stretching a bit lol. Its a aura reveal perk showing you all nearby pallet spawns which can be random. Same with window vaults. But im all for everyone being on equal ground for accessibility to game. I don't like excluding people. Nerfing them in any way balance wise for "balancing the extra fov". Or punishing them for what they need to play along side everyone else. Even if its because of the people without motion sickness playing with high fov. Its worth it to help everyone else.

Great contribution to the discussion as usual. Well at least this time you quoted 2 words from my paragraph whereas usually you only quote 1, so definitely an improvement
I just want to respectfully ask what you want the motion sick players to do? (The other keeps dodging) not play? They have a perk that partially or completly solves their problems in this game? Or always run 1 perk down (which goes against bhvrs want for accessibility to not be exclusive to perks. Thats why spinechill was changed and put half into the basekit). Hell like you said the visual tr and lullaby helps against a few instances for free. (Sadako being a big one since shes supposed to test you with light lullaby) but since they said that didnt make a major change to the gamestate. (Same as the hud) why not help killers out with a problem they have had for years? (Like i can keep running 3 perk if ya want) just relieved my situation won't hold me back from playing the same game as everyone else?

I dislike the idea of nerfing Blight. When you have extremes like Nurse + Blight and, say Trapper on the ‘weaker’ end, it’s easier to find balance. It’ll always be somewhere in between. Plus Blight destroys mediocre survivors but pretty much every killer does; that’s why their kill rates are all 53%+. Blight is only really problematic for top-tier survivors so what would nerfing him really accomplish?
So what are motion sick players to do? I was diagnosed with it and the way i play the game is with a perk. They don't want accessibility in perks (as shown with spine chill to now the visual tr and lullaby indicator) infact the lullaby indicator has single handedly stopped a sadako from getting the jump on me everytime i faced her. Because her lullaby is supposed to test your hearing with how low it is at first but i just move away the moment i see the haze? I understand if increasing fov does help some killers a bit. But im tired of weakening myself to not get sick?

Yeah, I am also quite excited for it. Especially because they did not nerf the Perk (yet), so it might be still a decent alternative for Exhaustion-Perks.
I dont run any Exhaustion-Perk, so I am thinking about using Made for This. Last time I was excited about a Survivor-Perk was Reassurance, but this got nerfed into being unuseable unless you are in a 4 man-SWF, so I was not that optimistic regarding Made for This, but apparently Survivors are allowed to have a decent Perk for once.
(Even tho, could be entirely possible that I wont run it, but at least it got me interested)
Weren't you one of the people primarily worried about passive movement speed increases getting to insane? Seems like thats slowly whats happening.
(Though tbf i have no problem with this perk on its own its just when mixxed with the proper team and perks it can make uncatchable survivors. This perk on its own is perfectly fine imo)

I believe it's using double calm addons with monitor and abuse to reduce your terror radius by 22 meters when your blast is off cooldown giving you a very small TR and sneak up on people.
Its really fun with thrill of the hunt. Face the darkness. And monitor. In chase fire off the shock to make a scream. Lowering your tr. Face the darkness makes them scream every 20 seconds if you have a low tr lol. Screamo doctor.
-
I alwaya wondered this kinda as well. Especially for the anniversary cakes id love to just have a "combined" pool i can draw from vs running around to like 5 different killers or survivors.
-

I believe the answer to your question lies in the fact that
A. Wraith moves Significantly faster in stealth, Sadako doesnt.
B. Sadako has a lullaby, Wraith doesnt.
Its a balance.
Sadako can literally kill you with no hooks as well lol.

110 killers usually are 110 for a reason.
Ironically i think they will have the least issue with this. Seeing how m1 chasing is something they don't want to do anyway
The survivors always run quicker than myers in the movies. But he cuts them off or traps them eventually. (How i play scratch mirror lol) also i think hes actually 105 not even 110.
-
@Nazzzak said:
Huntress, Slinger, and Trickster are range killers. That's why they're slower, because their power isn't reliant on their speed. Hag's power isn't reliant on speed either, though she might suffer in endgame from the odd person who risks running this, but the survivor has left themselves at a disadvantage throughout the entire game with no guarantee of even getting to endgame.
Scratch mirror myers breathes. (I think thats the only example i can think of of a slower killer with no catch up or range)

We can also bring up how long Spirit lasted, vs how long Endurance stacking lasted (it never left the PTB)
I was gonna say i think the fastest on live rework was original MoM since basically everyone agreed it was dumb. But i didnt play so much then so my knowledge on how short it was is secondhand. I just know they tried hard to be special with ash's release paragraph.

Talking about fast how quick was ruin undying? (Original)

They spend so much on licenses and updating the game and giving their workers a meaningful wage. Itd be hard to do that when also sony and microsoft are taxing them if most of their console players move to pc.
If its still like this im not really sure.

@Laurie268 said:
What stops killers from abusing this new mechanic? What if they let the bar fill on purpose so they can tunnel someone out faster than normally? Blight and nurse can down and rehook someone faster than the time it takes to progress a hookstage
Its not a automatic jump off. The survivor gets a option of "guaranteed escape." Allowing to them to jump off at say the last second. Granting them any unhook safe measures (like endurance and haste) so theres no option for the killer to not lose everything because the survivor can also do this in second state when they are hooked again. And if their team is gen inclined i could see all the gens being done before the first persons dead. (If they wait till the last second for both jump offs and last long enough with the anti tunnel measures)

Again, that doesn’t count as a killer only gameplay improvement, when we all know killer-sided maps will also get targeted in the future.
Not to fully side with the other side (since i think their wrong) but shadowborne is still a perk that exists. Wish theyd finally give that as accessibility to killers.

This is an idiotic change.
Thank you Behaviour. Now I don't have to wait the full minute to get someone to hook stage 2, I can just let them jump off and hit them immediately, and then chase them down and hit them again and throw them on another hook.
Facecamping just got way more efficient!
And the survivor could just wait since it doesnt go back down. Survivor jumps off and you immedately have 2 survivors bodyblocking you. Or the survivor could just wait till they are about to enter second stage. This is all in the survivors power when to jump off. They take the option. So they can wait till its the best time to do so.
-
Face camp update. If you stand infront of a survivor for to long. They fill a bar. And they can jump off the hook. Getting their bt protections.
This doesnt fill as fast if other survivors are nearby. And once the gates are powered they can't fill.
-
Oh i thought you were karu for a second. Dcs yes. Idk about bleed outs. I think dcs should also count for hook stuff (so you get like one pain res proc or no way out proc. You were gonna get the hook anyway 90% of dcs) bleed outs....meh. maybe? I wouldnt endorse it really.

I am unable to get any killer adepts because default vision makes my head hurt after few minutes. Which is fine, dont care about trophies in dbd anyway but this is truly something else.
Well done
Yeah i just ignore them. Shadowborne shouldn't be a perk but as long as it is i cannot do these challenges.

Built in fov slider so most Nurse/Blights can run another slowdown instead of shadowborn… Could be good, could be bad, as a Billy enjoyer shadowborn for me is a must and it would be nice to have a slider in settings, but we can’t overlook the reason why shadowborn is a perk, it’s only good on Huntress, Blight, Hillbilly and Nurse, every other killer doesn’t benefit from it.
I have motion sickness so i have to run it on all of them. Not much of a choice. Kinda why ive been pushing for it for years now. (And why its been my pfp for like 2 years)

Yeah with the massive grind. Multiple dlc adding like 100$+ Many micro transactions and memory required for fearures. It acts like a ftp game but it is still a paid game at the end of the day. It and overwatch i kinda both wanted to go ftp. Overwatch did but dbd hasn't. Its very aged imo.

I do, I get a lot of value from some of those addons (obviously, not all of them), a few week ago I got a 42 winstreak using Apex Muffler and Leafy Mash; Billy definitely has bad addons, but not as many as people think.
I think people are not wiling to experiment, especially since (as a Billy main) it can be hard to let go of what you are use to, I know that since I use to be like that. One of the reasons why I even got the formerly mentioned winstreak is because I wanted to really test and question my original ideals, and guess what, my opinions changed, because I gave things a chance.
I think the overall notion that "it isnt meta therefore it's not good" is just overall a negative mindset to have. There is always going to be a meta, but just because something isnt meta does not deprive it of its value. This, of course, goes beyond just Billy.
But black grease though? Lol.

I mean it doesn’t matter to you if survivors complain or not (and it shouldn’t, tbh). Because their fun isn’t your responsibility, after all. Like I said it’s ok to camp just be honest with yourself about it. You don’t earn brownie points by trying to like explain it away, deny it, rationalize it, justify it, etc. you camp and that’s ok. Most players do. Hell, I do. Lol.
anyway don’t bother responding, I won’t acknowledge you. I’ve moved on.
Don't have to respond if you don't want to im just trying to have a respectful convo for my side of the spectrum. The fluidity of the term just makes it die on arrival. Facecamping is very simple of a concept and has a very clear definition. Proxying at most i could say is "staying within 15-20 meters with no intent to leave". But some killers can ranged down you. Huntress can throw a rng hatchet cross map behind 52 walls. Hag can tp back to a trap cross map. Billy can zoom back. Oni the same. Hell even dredge is the biggest example of this. Lockers become locked until the unhook finishes. Then dredge can immedately teleport to the nearest locker. Doesn't matter where he is on the map or whats in his way. Its just personally why unlike tunneling and facecamping. I don't think proxy camping is actually a thing. But if i did have to give it a definition the easiest example would be "staying within close proximity to a hook with no intent to leave at all"

if you have LOS of hook, and by that I mean you can see the survivor’s body loaded in, you are proxy camping.
So, basically 'If you are not as physically far away as possible; Survivors will complain, invent a phrase to shame Killers, and blame the Killer for doing this thing they invented with arbitrary rules to it.'.
Ey at least on lerys your never proxying because all ya need to do is turn a corner. Poor coldwinders or shelter woods players though. I see why proxying is such a problem on those maps.
(The term is stupid because of the fluidity of it and the so many IFS someone can come up with on a dime. Like at most id give proxying like staying 15-20 meters in any direction of the hook just walking around. But most people i know return from like 30+ if they can't find anyone)
