  • i really hope to they add killer bots soon. survivors wanna practice too. would love to run around and explore or even practice my hyper focus skill checks without the stress of real game.

  • just run kindred. survivors will be way more efficient on gens with this update. That enough for now

  • Just about every few days on my ps4. I Usally just cut it off and come back in hour and everything normal again

  • just my personal opinion.

1 Nurse (usally beat her cause most nurses don't know how to use their power but when i get a half decent oneeee the whole team die instantly)

2 Play with your food TS Myers (............sigh)

3 spirit (im 400 hours in! and still never beat her)

4 solo q potato teammate (these guys always killing people)

    5 blight

  • man if noed ever became base kit I'm hanging it up. if i had to pick from these I'll say make grim embrace basekit so killers will go for every players more. For survivor idk ds basekit sound too strong.

  • sorry to hear this my guy.

in my opinion i don't think this meta is any worse then previous ones. People tend to forget how much broken $hit was running around. Im also a solo q survivor who occasionally play in duo. The meta always going to piss people off especially if u constantly on the losing end of it

  • how many times u jump in locker right when the killer attack to avoid a hit....but died a few seconds later because it no time to get to that pallet or window a few steps away from that locker.

    (OVER YOUR LIMIT)

Being inches away from death has unlock your true potential. While performing a rush action to leave a locker within 6 meters of the killer you gain a 9% increases in speed for a total of 10 seconds. Cause the exhausted status effect for 40/50/60

I don't blame you. I literally cannot play solo queue any more. I'll only play with friends now.

it in terrible state. Full of cons and very little pros. Much rather play in a " buLly sqUad" as they call it... than helpless solo q survivor. As a solo q survivor u have little coordination so when the killers use these viable tactics (camping and tunneling) it hard to counter. But In swf u can actually pressure the other side back through swarming with flashlights, body blocking and sabo plays. To point the killer looking over his shoulder and circling the area 3 times every down.

Imagine shelter woods with nerfed shack,,NO

u still got 3 pallets and 200 trees to work with tho

  • i ran about 15 games without a single dc. Sad to hear your experience been so bad

On a 5 match winning streak as knight on ps4 pro. He's perfectly viable imo. Last win was on garden of joy too 🙂

    nice

never thought knight was that bad myself as well

  • nodding off

Drunk off power! your fuel by the suffering of others.

Gain 50% increase in head nodding while the survivor is in the struggle state on hook

  • Showboating

You love to show off!! the more watching the better.

When the killer within 20 meters of u with a clear line of sight your crouching speed increase by 80%.

Go downstairs and get a bit closer.

u might as well go for the rescue in that case

  • @EvilBarney666 said:

Swf is unfair to the killer as it negates certain factors of the game.

    Examples:

1: Pallet Freddy. Against solos you can get a few surprises on them. A swf just calls out, Fake Pallets guys throw early.

2: Survivor on a gen hears heartbeat. Better move incase. Swf, he is on me stay on the gen.

3: Killer runs knockout. Survivors just say, down at killer shack come get me.

Just some examples of how swf is an advantage.

The killer is givin nothing to compensate for the communication and coordination the swf gets. Now, I admit not every swf is a sweat squad or on comms. However, we have to assume most are.

I don't think separate ques are the way to go. I just wish they would do something. As it stands, swf IS an advantage. The killer is just expected to deal with it.

    Just my 2 cents.

    Have fun in the fog!

swf definitely has the advantage because of to much information but solo q is disadvantage cause of the lack of info given.(yin yang)

kinda balance itself out. Besides... swf is the only place i can go to excape the wasteland known as "solol q" lol

People heard a random killer main say "Survivors like to tunnel gens" and everyone ran with it.

    probably truetalent

  • some maps got build in 3gens and if the killer take full advantage well it tough match. Some maps got to many pallets like the game, the new map and a few more.

The maps are frustrating on both sides

  • @Stabby_Widdershins said:

    You can't just remove 3gens.

    So Survivors want:

    1. No more 3gens
    2. No slugging
    3. No camping
    4. No tunneling
    5. No NoED
    6. No whatever the next 'crutch' warcry will be.

So...What are Killers allowed to do, according to Survivors?

stop facing the wall when I'm trying to blind you for one hehe *click click*

  • solo q is a wasteland full of potatoes because it no reason to play it. I went from winning 45% of my games playing with terrible teammates to winning 80% of my game playing as killer within 2 weeks. As killer you can pressure the other side whenever you want through tunneling and camping. swf can pressure using body block, flashlight and sabo plays to the point that the killer become scare to pick up. Solo q have no coordination.....and most of times killers can just get easy wins off camping and tunneling. Much rather be in a bully squad than a helpless solo q player

Doesn't Prove Thyself only shave off like 6 seconds?

It's really not that good of a perk. I find it makes zero difference in my games.

i think it's only a problem at the start of the match. u shouldn't be able to finish a gen before killer could even contested it once

  • I'm fine with dead hard getting change again if they gut all the top perks along with It! The next meta shake up should address

Eruption- to much vaule for it easy activation cost. no counter play either

COB- To good at holding 3 gens

COH- infinite healing will never be balance

DH- extra health state is just a bit to strong even if u only hitting it half the time.

Prove thyself- people spawn in together and finish a gen before the killer can even patrol it once.

Noed- u should have to work for a powerful effect like how devour hope operate . (u shouldn't be rewarded for failing like noed)

  • don't even try to complete the silly ones. Most of the killer challenges are doable and mainly involve hitting/downing/hocking/killing.

But a good portion of the Survivor challenges don't even work toward your objective. just useless

If a survivor knows that there is another pallet around the corner then they don't have to try to conserve the one they are currently at, do they?

How about you ask yourself why do people need it on all the time?

for optimal pathing. Killers have the exact same perk (zanshin tactics)....go ahead help yourself to it

  • i like nemmise music the most but wesker definitely second. Maybe it the fact that u hear it for so long before he actually get to you. I'm always asking myself what direction is he coming from as the TR just so overwhelming loud.

  • @TheSubstitute said:

Generally, as a Killer if I don't get a hit or take out a pallet in 15 to 20 seconds or less I abandon the chase and go back to gens. I run generally one and maximum two gen defense perks (and I don't use Eruption) so spending any longer than that in chase will cost any chance of doing well. If I see a Survivor by a strong loop who's made themselves noticeable I generally ignore them as I'm not going to spend a minute chasing them while gens go uncontested.

People have to pick what they prefer. You can have either:

    (a) A short time in chase; or

    (b) Oppressive level of gen regression; or

    (c) Tunneling and camping.

Without at least one of the above the Killer will lose. Personally I'd rather face (a) when I play Survivor so I try to do that as Killer as well.

i think the majority would go with B. Half the time someone go down quickly at the start u get a dc. This regression era isn't that bad! people just hate being incapacitated by eruption

  • A survivor wanna min chase (of fun looping) if not more. Getting down quickly by the killer make u feel one of two things.

●"I'm playing badly! a skill player wouldn't go down this quick"

●the killer is op or annoying cause he's to strong in chase

i personally hate trickster because of this

  • Eruption should incapacitate for 15sec max but beside that it pretty balance. Let the killers have a few strong perks

call of brine is the main offender of the current 3gen kicking meta. You can circle around your 3 gen forever applying regression and when some meaningful work actually get done on the gen COB second effect let the killer know to go right back over there. The strategy is so affected that some killers are picking three to four of the closest gens to guard only. The perk give good information and excellent regression at the same time.

  • Every so often u run into a killer who will give u hatch but also i run into the ones who will leave u slug as u crawl to the hatch than bam.....close it. I rarely get camp or tunnel ( not including end game camping) maybe once every 20 matches at most so i can't really relate with most survivors on that issue. in fact I'll say most killer dont show any emotions at all. Rarely meet s nice killer or mean one....unless u running them for a few gens.

  • ah i can't wait!! Been looking for a way to identify what my teammates are up to without wasting a perk slot on bond. If i see u wasn't productive the whole match I'm may never play with u again. I don't mean come off as a a$$ hole but the strong players shouldn't be match with the weak/new players. Sadly that all match making do these days.

Infinite regression assuming that survivors don't spend a quarter of a second to negate most of those perks by tapping the gen. The horror.

assuming u not incapacitated from eruption u can tap it but they will be right back over there to reapply it. And if u stay on it to try get some actual work done COB second Effect let them know exactly what u up to. Guess where they going back to? ......The hoRRor

  • @Steakdabait said:

yea this 3 gen camping meta is such an a painful slog I haven't played survivor personally since the knight came out and that prolly won't change for me personally.

back in the day u had infinite loops...these days infinite regression. Seeing killers go on relentless 3 gen patrol from the start of the match with COB really make u wanna hang it up. Now i kinda understand why killers was losing their $hit over the old circle of healing. Watching all your progression or pressure u build up disappear cause of one perk. Than they got the nerve to be cocky in the end game chat as if they was skillful.

  • @OmniSkeptic said:

The fact that this is the only asymmetrical game I’ve ever seen to not have a map selection system. Give us map vetoes so we can pick a cancerous one or two to not play.

Just imagine if survivors had a option to ban 1 or 2 killers they don't wanna face...

Keep in mind that if they report you with evidence, you can get a 24 hr ban based on their updated strict penalty.

  • he know about us......we can't let him live now

  • i got no problem with the perk but the majority of times i seen someone with it they mainly play selfishly.

  • @Jinxed said:

Honestly yeah, remove brown toolboxes, I can't count how many times I've searched a chest hoping for a medkit and found one of those bad boys.

ran across the map to basement for nothing

  • if the teammate been playing selfishly not helping the whole game I'm definitely snitching. other than that tho I'm not ratting

  • you can't be real...who sent u?

  • @MaTtRoSiTy

just play swf and save yourself from any further torture. solo q full of bull$h¡ț with little reason to play. just a few examples

    ●random DC's every 4 to 5 games which is auto L for u

●bad teammates/match making usally to the detriment of the survivors

●(camping, tunneling, slugging ) These are fair viable strategies but only server to reinforce your helplessness in solo q as u can't communicate the need for help to the team most of the time.

●And last! the most important reason..... (drum roll) u don't win often.

Most people delude themselves into thinking wins aren't that important and they just wanna have fun. But those mental gymnastics never last long as u start to complain "I'm not having fun" when the match isn't going your way. Solo q isn't miserable because of the meta. It miserable because the average player rarely wins.

  • Let them fight for that imaginary number in the sky. They wanna believe they are consistently going up against the best to validate their skills. MMR definitely non existing...u can watch almost any killer streak and see over half the teams fold instantly. In my opinion majority of survivors are just bad (probably due to large amount casual players who just wanna have fun and not really learn everything)

  • @AmpersandUnderscore said:

Imagine if survivors had a perk that worked the same way eruption does.

After healing any survivor one health state or unhooking a survivor the perk activates.(actively interacting with the other team's objective to regress progress, in ways that are infinitely repeatable).

With the perk active, after working on a generator for 10 seconds, you can use the active ability button to stun the killer for 6 seconds, wherever they are. (Progressing your team's objective allows you to remotely disable your opponent with essentially no warning, for far longer than any other perk.)

But hey, it's got a 30 second cooldown.

Yeah, I'm sure this would be perfectly healthy for the game. (/s)

lolol eruption definitely unfair but ######### most of the top meta perks are.

    DH: Third health state

    NOED: free downs

    COH: infinite healing

COB: Infinite three gen if u camping them and not chasing

I know I sure did, it was a good vid that was right on point (vid below for anyone interested in learning what they did to Billy).

I never really played Billy in the old days and I wish I had now as I am getting around to Steam achievements and 100 chainsaw downs on Billy is one. But for a non-Billy player learning current Billy is a miserably painful and frustrating experience.

I wish they changed him back to the base killer he once was as nobody wanted these changes and now he is just not fun for new players to ever bother picking up

    https://youtu.be/kncQz1_d6fk

i don't really play killer outside of trapper but in my opinion Billy terrible. his chainsaw can be stop by just a few trees in a deadzone. He need a better way to mind game his chainsaw at lopps at the very least

  • i just hope they fix it already so i can go back to running it. dead hard and kindred is must have in any build for me

  • somebody been watching ardetha latest vib i see

Yeah I just don't buy these claims and I am not saying I am a survivor god but I am quite experienced with a lot of hours on survivor and I would say my escape rate is maybe 30% on average

hmmm maybe he just getting all good teammates. idk

a 70% win in solo is better than almost every pro streamer i watch (beside hens)

  • @Blueberry said:

    Probably like 70%+

    god damn! any general tips?

should i be running certain perks more or focusing on gens less. Anything suggestions would help
