This is so true, I played killer for the first time a few days ago and it is not as easy as I thought.

Well its not like the doctor can down you in ten seconds like spirit can, and lockers do counter him and the perk Calm Spirit hard counters the info part of his power, its just not meta.
I hear ya, it just sucks every single time the match starts with DR he charges, finds everyone then eventually gets the down, hook and moves on to the next one. You cant stay in lockers the whole time and were not even talking about trying to clear out the crazy while being chased lol. I think in months playing every night I won maybe one match with DR and I play with some good players. It is statistically impossible to have that many match losses over extended periods of time and that killer not be OP.

I just had a Dr game where a SWF sent me to Haddonfield. I won since I have devout hope up my sleeve with undying but when they were on the last-gen all they did was just hide in the basement switching locker to not get crows. One of the nice swf members had to tell me where they were.( the funny thing is that another swf member told me that Haddonfield was killer sided.)
Why don't you get crows for not doing anything. There really needs to be something to prevent this. it is so easy to take the game hostage. They need to make it to where if you have not been doing anything productive(like gens or totem or healing) you get crows. You should just get crows for standing still or In a locker
sorry for ranting but I just so annoyed that its so easy to hold the game hostage
Thats crappy to hold the game hostage like that. I do admit that I hate to see the DR! I dont think any killer should be able to just charge, shock then find you. It makes matches incredibly easy for the DR to win. Had a Spirit the other night hold me and the other survivor in the game for over 30 mins slugging us while we were doing the gen to out. He/she would not hook us just kept downing us. Thankfully I recorded it and sent it in, hope something will be done about it.

A lot of wraiths took advantage before the BT change, yes. And no winning/out playing-smarting people never gets old. When I camp, tunnel, slug strategically. It always feels good
Oh your one of those lol okay sorry. No need to write back I got you, your site name says it all.

I only do solo and it's the best way to play. Forget about teammates, it's about how well you can do on your own. I go into matches and expect my teammates to die before I do. Either I make mistakes and die or the team performs as well as myself resulting in escape. I escape far more often alone then with the team. Camping or tunnel I like the killer to show no mercy and use every opportunity, that's challenging fun.
Sorry brother but, remind me to NEVER play with you. This is a team sport and the dynamics change drastically when a teammate dies so it is always better to do your best to keep everyone playing and doing something where possible.

I play to win. So not really...It all depends on the situation...In the situation I mentioned. I'm using all-seeing spirit. Which shows me the aura and how far along a gen is...The cloak is to watch gens. Not hide at the hook..So if none of the other gens are getting done. It's logical to protect the only gen that has progress and the hook I know they have to come to. It's not like I camp every hook. Just when it makes sense to.
I have no shame and freely admit I tunnel, slug, and camp to win. They're viable strategies.
Okay lol, whatever floats your boat but if your doing this all the time and win easy all the time it has got to get old. I just see a lot of Wraiths hook then cloak right next to it downing anyone who tries to save. Just seems lazy to me but hey whatever it takes huh.

I'm more of a killer player, though I enjoyed dipping into survivor to chill with friends often. But most of my friends have as of recent lost interest in DBD, so with the new tome I've been forced to solo queue to do challenges and, good lord, it's been by far the least fun I've ever had playing this game.
Face-camping NOED Freddies and Ghostfaces every other match. Claudettes hiding in the corner self-caring for 90 seconds. Sometimes I think Kindred is more of a hindrance than a help because with low-mid rank teammates it means they all freeze up and crouch-walk into the corners of the map while you sit on a hook. People hiding in lockers the whole match, and then just camping the hatch waiting for you to die on your first hook. The most infuriating DBD game I've ever had, where I lost two teammates early, did 3.5 gens by myself and looped the killer in between while the other teammate crouch-walked and hid, only to get NOED'd just as I opened the exit gate and killed while the other teammate waltzed out. And because every other game I wind up getting chased and downed first and die soon after because everyone is self-caring or locker-hiding or crouch-walking around corners while I hit stage 2, I'll never rank past these kinds of players. I'm far from the best survivor player out there, but yeesh.
I don't know how anyone does it. I've finished the survivor half of the new tome's challenges and I don't know if I'll ever queue survivor again. Jeepers creepers.
I def hear ya! Solo q sucks badly because most players hang around at the edges of the map doing nothing or crouching around hooks for those God awful saves with the killer in tow. Had a solo match last night where someone brought in the add on for hatch at the killer shack and they sat there the entire time. While I was on the hook I saw them in the distance tbagging letting me know they wanted to get it and I should just suicide myself so they could win when they have done NOTHING the entire match. But,,,, just once in a while when you get those games when you are hooked as the last gen is done and you see three other yellow auras running to you to help is awesome!!

I've never had a good trickster yet, I only had a "okay" one, which was barely a 5/10, still no kills, he just started to understand how he worked, I want a good trickster, and yea I still once got 3 kills and 2 hooks on the survivors in lery's, i only did 5 health state in the whole match with showstopper, it's a nightmare for him
Yeah I feel bad for them sometimes because they get no kills or maybe one hook. Plus, so many solo players I play with do dumb things at the gate,,, I am really like just leave.

@Kirkylad said:
If someone body blocks with BT then they are being a good teammate as that's the smartest play a survivor can make in that situation.
Exactly right,,, I think every solo player should run BT because so many of the killer mains like Nurse or Spirit can vape right over to you when you are trying to hook save. If that happens and I am the one doing the save I always try to block the killer because I put the just saved teammate in a bad spot so I will take the down.

Lery's is a nightmare like it is for Billy, Trickster is extremely map dependant, the better you get the less bad it gets, but it's still a big factor.
Exactly right. Had a match the other night in Lery's and I heard the sound the Trickster was coming and was like cool. Any other map I would be like "crap" lol.

Honostly. I just agree with them usually and move on. I have no shame in camping, tunneling, slugging. I find myself quite often downing people near an almost completed gen..So I camp it knowing other gens arnt near complete. I'm not going to leave the area. Let you get a free unhook, heal, and pop the gen. That would be stupid killer gameplay. Especially if I'm using something like wraith and I'm using all seeing spirit. And I can sit there cloaked and watch the generators not being worked on. While I'm protecting a hook and a generator.
I guess I just wonder why cloak right next to a hook simply to wait to down someone who tries the save, then move on and do it again? I mean I know it works but doesnt that get old?

I do not DC or hook suicide because I know how it feels when others do it to me in matches but as a solo player it does suck when you run Michael around for a while only to get caught and killed instantly.

I've been playing trickster nonstop since his buffs and I can say i am very good with him and even he has many weaknesses I still win and land my blades, and survivors seems to really not accept the fact if played well trickster is """"good"""" and they start to talk trash on me and saying he is broken and insulting me lmao.
As far as I know, everyone agrees he's a weak killer, yet survivors complain that I win against him? I love it
And no it didn't happened to me only once, it starts to happen quite a lot, and actually start to get more trash talk while playing him than any other killer, any reason to trash talk for losing against a weak killer? their ego must be hurt.
There is no reason to trash talk esp if you win. I play solo and when I come across a Trickster most know how to play him now and he is pretty deadly. Key is still getting distance and putting objects in between you and him. In some maps like Lery's thats easy but other open maps not so much.

i'm not the kind of killer that'll just tunnel people out of the game for no reason. i hook a survivor and i leave. hell, i don't even run devour hope, MYC, or whatever else. there's no perk ticking up or rewarding me for doing this, i just think it's fair play.
so when i see nobody else the entire time i'm hunting, and then the hook notification goes off, and i return to the hook and follow the scratch marks and find the exact same guy that just got hooked, what exactly do you think i'm going to do?
do you think i'm just gonna tell myself "oh it's not fair for me to hook him again"? do you think i'm gonna be like "maybe i should instead go and turn over every single stone and pay really close attention to the slightest sound to try to find someone else"? how stupid do you think i am? as a matter of fact, how stupid do you think you are? evidently you think you're very clever - do you think you're smartly evading the killer and protecting yourself? you're not. you're throwing your teammate under the bus because you don't wanna get hit in a video game.
so when, at the end of the game, i've been forced to tunnel each person individually because noone can bear to show their face the whole match, and i have to pre-emptively return to hooks to even dream of finding another target, you pop up in the postgame chat and call me a tunneler or a camper? you tell me that i'm bad at the game?
all i have to say to you is "ok".
you, red rank survivor in a swf with a purple and two green ranks. you who have done nothing to help your teammates, you who scuttled around the map hook farming your friends. you think i'm the one that played badly? you stand atop your mountain of undeserved pips held together by the dried blood of your comrades who you farmed for medals looking down upon me as if where you stand holds any appeal to me? do you think i want to be "good at the game" in the exact same way you are, selfishly throwing people under the bus to serve my own ends and then slipping out of the map-scouted hatch that you've been planning around since Bill 2 died?
here's a secret: where you stand is ugly. it is putrid and it is filthy. your rank is red not because you are a threat, but because it is dipped lavishly in the blood of your friends and allies. you exploited your way to the top just so you could look down on those around you and, worse still, you think your position enviable.
"ok".
I agree with 99 percent of what you said so eloquently. I CANNOT stand when other players farm for bloodpoints at my expense. The only thing I will ask is if you consistently "just happen" to get the same hooked survivors to rehook in almost every match then you are tunneling and it is your way of winning. I understand the whole leaving yourself in a bad spot but, if you "just happen to be around the hook when someone saves" almost all the time then you are either camping or proxy camping and tunneling. Not wanting to get into the whole camping/tunneling argument btw.

Solo mod is really terrible. If your teammates do gens fast you will have win chance but most of them just not doing anything. That is maybe because of matchmaking i dont know. I am red rank but so rare we playing full red rank. Usually 2 red (or 1 red & 1 purple) & 1 green & 1 yellow. And that makes games hard for everyone. And you do not know about your team skills.
But swf is different. You know your friends skills. You are trusting them. You know everyone doing objectives. That makes game playable for survivors.
I know most killers blaming swf teams but i can not see any different for killer. Some of them are sweat teams but most of them just normal survivors. They are just playing with their friends. You can not force people to play solo. If you do that, people will stop play.
And also killers have high rates on all ranks. I do not know what killers waiting. %95 killing rates?
Solo q does suck something awful most of the time. Had a match last night in National Laboratory and one of the survivors was hiding the whole time while I was running around hurt doing gens and at the end game he was crouched down behind cases AT THE GATE while I was pulling the lever?? Somehow he was a red rank and I was purple???

Survivors cannot end a chase and that’s a problem. If a killer wants you they will get no matter what you do. You can use ds, dh, balanced landing, sprint burst, loop them, or stun them but they will continue to get to you and there is nothing you can do about it. They only thing that can maybe end a chase is lucky break + iron will and that’s it. If survivors had more ways to end chases and it was up to only the killer to end the chase I think that would solve a lot of problems in the game. For example: it would be a lot harder to tunnel if the survivor had a way to end the chase and actually get away from the killer.
It is more just some killer mains getting tunnel vision into getting that one survivor who maybe pallet slammed them or whatever. I had these type chases where the killer just passes every single other player up and chases you for half the maps until they get you.

The pip system is the most confusing part of the game if I’m being honest. Sometimes I do horrible and I’m positive I’m going to lose one but nope here’s a pip because I guess I got chased a long time.
I was just about to post a thread about this because I had a 6 hour game session last night and I did better than I have in the last few days yet I did not pip up but maybe once?? My actions are pretty much the same any game, proper hook saves, doing gens, running the killer, totems, exit gates etc,, and out of maybe 20 matches I pipped up only once??

because this game is oversupply with survivor and killer player is diminishing every month. Lobby queue is extremely become very long on night. Shortage of killer on purple and red tier, but killer on green and yellow (newbie) is oversupply but because they always facing with experience survivor they decide to exit killer gameplay.
Any thought
This strange as all I ever see is rank 1 prestige killer mains almost every single night in almost every match
-
@glitchboi said:
The ranking system is based around playtime, not skill.
I could not disagree with you more. In order to pip and rank up you have to do a pretty decent amount of actions,,, proper hook saves, healing, totems, running killer. If you just play the game and hide around the edges of the map that is playtime but will get you nowhere. However, in the obverse I cant tell you how many matches I have played where I did all of these things and either stayed the same pip/rank level or actually lost something. So your guess is as good as mine lol.
-
Considering most Wraiths I have encountered just hook then cloak right next to the hook waiting for saves,,, he is pretty OP to me. Any killer you have a hard time seeing except for the blur and that low pitch growl is very dangerous and if you add to that some occasional camping/tunneling when you never have to do that with this type of killer,, he is very strong.
-
As a solo survivor when I hear that dang bell in a game I am thinking, "crap not the Wraith" lol. TBH I think Wraith is OP and needs something to slow him down. He is way too fast and invisible killers are way harder than any other stealth killer. I have yet to win a match with him as the killer and I have had some great teams.

Basically Blights intended hit raidus when rushing is supposed to be 90°. So if you guess their direction they'll juke..You can land a hit..J flicking involves upping your DPI and being able to hit 180 °. And getting some wicked unintended hits
Ohh that doesnt seem right lol?

I was in a lengthy discussion in the chat with a bunch of survivors who kept telling me that tunneling is not part of the game and that I shouldn't do it. I heard a lot in my time playing DbD about tunneling, but never that it outright isn't part of the game.
I got disconnected from the server before I got a conclusive answer, so my curiosity remains piqued: is there a convincing argument of why tunneling is not part of the game, when it, as far as I'm concerned, clearly is.
Keep in mind that the question is "is not part, because...", not "shouldn't be part, because..."
As a solo survivor I can say I hate it when I see Bubba's camp and then tunnel. It makes for a miserable game experience esp if you get back to back games like that. I had a Wraith the other night tunnel me alone after running them around for half the game and then literally stand within 3 inches of me on the hook at the end game. I play solo survivor and fortunately for me had a great team who risked everything to get me off the hook and in a rare instance we all got out. So, in this case it didn't for him/her. But, most of the time it does work for killer mains so that is why they use it and until the devs discourage camping/tunneling it will never end. Most will use the tired argument that it is a tactic which I believe is lazy because a 6 year old can run after the same survivor like a dog with a bone and stand right next tot he hook until the game ends lol.
-
Or,,,,, in the obverse, just play the game, stop trying to be stupid and move on to the next when someone is being dumb lol??? Maybe? No? lol.

Two of my mains are Huntress and Demo. You guys did a great job with Demo's new ultra-rare add-ons. Very cool, interesting, and useful without being oppressive. However, I'm very disappointed by the new Huntress ultra-rare add-ons and here's why. I will never use them...which is the same problem I had with old iri head.
It feels so cheap to get point-blank insta-down hatchets so that ruins it for me. Survivors STILL usually DC when they realize you have it (even now when it's just 1) so it clearly ruins the game for them too. I have dozens of these that I will never use because they are still poison to any game you bring them into.
The ultra-rare that increases your movement speed slightly when you're out of hatchets is soooooo boring. Additionally, a Huntress with even a moderate experience level knows you shouldn't be chasing down survivors without hatchets a vast majority of the time anyway.
I was so hoping that you guys would listen to the PTB feedback and change these addons. I'm still hoping you do. Adding a 20+ meter range requirement for the insta-downs (and maybe not reducing the number of hatchets) would make these so fun and balanced for both sides. As far as the other one goes, I'm going to throw out an idea...the other ultra-rare would make hatchets count as basic attacks. People would have so much fun creating unique builds with this add-on to trigger different perk combos from range. At the very least it would be interesting and people would use it.
I agree with you,,, soooo many of the games I play when the Huntress is the killer as a solo survivor I see other survivors DC after getting hit. It is so frustrating esp when you run to save and if they dont DC they hook suicide. I lose a pip and de-rank for nothing. However, I asked a killer in chat afterwards if it gets old when this happens and their smart @ss response was "nope, I love it" lol.

I think I may have had one instance where wiggling has got me off the killer and thats because this killer liked to bring everyone to the basement and I was lucky to be far enough away.

I was playing wraith in red ranks and came across a 4man. They played well and brought it to end game where I clutched out a 3k I let one get out through gate. In endgame chat they expressed that wraith was broken and way too strong but...I don't see his changes as a negative at all. They took what made him kinda weak and made these aspects better. As well as some QOL changes. I play both sides and never have an issue facing a wraith. You accept short loops are unsafe and stick to longer loops so he can't use his boost to get a free hit. They were good but kept looping really unsafe pallets against me gifting me free hits out of my cloak. So my question is. Survivors what are your thoughts an his changes?
Wraith is OP,,, sorry he just is. I have been playing for months as a red rank survivor and have yet to win a game when the killer is a Wraith. It is not because I am not "gud" and I have played with some amazing teams however, we all get smoked. Most of the time the Wraith will cloak right next to the hook and when you go for the save he downs you. If they do not do that they run around slugging easily because we cant see where they are even with Kindred after hooking. Spine Chill might help I am not sure but there really should not be a invisible killer in the game. By the time he uncloaks you have less than a second to try and get enough space to loop him and thats if you have a jungle gym or something nearby. He is more deadly than the DR and all he does is go around shocking, finding, downing, hooking end of the game lol.

A lot of people switched to Blight recently. I think it's finally because people finally saw how strong he actually can be. Plus the FOV got fixed for him so people can actually see with him. I still don't think he needs a tone down. He already has enough problems with collision, and other random bugs that might happen. I still think J flick is fine, but that's just me. I personally don't use it when I play Blight though either.
I personally dont have a problem with Blight's because if you make last minute changes in your direction as a survivor you can usually avoid his hits. Just be erratic and run the walls in tight corners.

So...A killer that defies all mechanics of the game in nurse is ok. Because she takes skill. But a character in blight needs toned down.. Because you feel he's too easy to use...? Ok then
Ummm I think you are responding to the wrong person lol,,,I simply asked was this the reason why I am seeing a lot of Blight's these days that's all. Everyone is sooooo wanting to get in literal word fights now its crazy.

@stygianrakshasa said:
This Killer is really unfair to play against. I am a Killer main and I actually main The Nurse. A Killer with a high skill ceiling.
The Blight's skill ceiling is (in my opinion) incredibly over valued. On PC with consistent FPS and a high DPI mouse, you can even exploit The Blight's movement in such way to get hits that shouldn't ever be possible (this is in relation to the J-flick exploit).
His power perfectly benefits from the Killer META, specifically with the three perks: Ruin, Undying and Tinkerer. His power barely has a cool down and if you pair it with add-ons, it gets even worse and more unfairly oppressive.
He is so accessible to play when you take into account that most Blight players (who haven't even mastered him) can utilise the overpowered synergy that this Killer has with the META Killer perks. The Nurse has this same synergy but I know that it isn't as oppressive since at the very least, you have to be skilled to land downs as The Nurse while as The Blight, you can resort to being a generic 115% movement speed Killer on certain tiles (in the most unideal situation) and still just use the power for the ridiculous mobility.
Overall, I just want this Killer and his add-ons to be toned down. Not changed, just toned down. BeHaviour are already going to address the J-flick exploit which is good and they should be doing that. However, they need to continue a fair bit and increase The Blight's charge cool down and punish players for exploiting his mobility mindlessly.
Just my two cents. Every opinion is valid but I am a rank 1 Survivor and Killer player of 4 years. Just remember that.
Thank you,
- Stygian Rakshasa
Is that the reason why I see so many Blight's these days and why they melt almost every match?

But why would you not participate in a bit of banter and some goofing around? Please tell me you're not that type of player that literally must do gens and get out quickly? .... see loads of survivors kill to have a bit of banter with killers and some fun, and when they are doing just exactly that turns out the survivors are too hard serious and complain the killers being nice and friendly. And they'll also get reported or toxicity for being a complete rat during the match.
Poor killers can't win these days.
And yes I'm talking behalf of BOTH ROLES.
Gosh, some players need to get a grip. And don't put yourself in a sandbag situation and be too serious with the game. Let your hair down and laugh you're are entitled to that sir. Don't get many friendly killers out there, so dig the matches you do and make the most of them.
Exactly right. So many games are intense cat and mouse rounds and if you have one killer who just likes to have fun and go around for a bit is always fun and a welcome relief to the game!!!

If you can just point to where in my comments I said it was ban worthy I would appreciate it?? I asked a question,,, the question was, "why did they receive the ban" if what they did wasn't worthy of a ban,,, and to date I have not received a credible answer. I would think the devs do not go around handing out a day ban for nothing?? This is what I said earlier "You probably received the ban because you left a player with significant time unable to play the game",,, I never once said it was worthy of a ban but rather more comment with regard to why down someone for a large part of the game only to let them go later.

Nah youre wrong, bleeding out has a timer so the game will end eventually, it has been stated numerous times that it isn't bannable
Being friendly isn't bannable as long as you don't force people into longer matches they can't leave in anyway (dcing not counting oc), however, having these silly matches too often is discouraged by Bhvr. Maybe you did these plays too often and the support that recieved your report woke up a lil bit cranky :P I play friendly often too and didn't get anything yet.
Are you talking to me lol??? I am not part of this type of play and never even had it happen to me?? So why did they get the day ban then? I just do not see the point of downing someone only to let them lay on the ground for a significant amount of time only to give them the hatch later,, kind of counterintuitive.
-

I personally do not see anything wrong with this. TBH I wonder about the people who get so incensed about this game and so "into it" that they fly into rage fits if a solo player happens to find the hatch after the rest of the solo team gets melted.

See this is what I dont get about camping and tunneling,,,, and this is a sincere question, most of you killer mains say "I only camp or tunnel after fill the blank happens" if its such a legit tactic and since a lot of you will say "the devs say its cool, so it must be good", why dont you do it all the time and why does it take scummy actions on the part of survivors for you to do it?

Correct. Camping is a legit tactic to slow down generators, and it's Survivor's fault if they run at a guarded hook. There is also no way to punish bad campers without wiping out legit camping or player agency.
So yes; the Killer did nothing wrong. Good talk.
Hence the reason for SWF's who run Prove Thyself, Kindred, Spine Chill, Tool Boxes etc to power through those gens and almost out the gate by the time the killer tries for the second hook. It works both ways,,, Good talk.

Okay, this one is actually pretty funny!

...and it didn't feel good.
I was playing as Wraith for the first time so was figuring out how he plays and the match started getting away from me. So I tunnelled 2 survivors fresh off the hook until I'd gotten back into the game. It felt cheap, desperate & harsh on the survivors.
I just wish there were more killers out there like you. Dont worry about some of the dumb toxic comments here, you do you. Honestly, I kind of worry about some people who play this game and get soooo into killing, but hey thats just me and I am sure someone will chime in with something unoriginal.

that's matchmaking for you.
also
- i think there's a sale going, so a lot of new people have come in
- time of day is also relevant
Is this true with regard to times of day to play and getting better survivor teammates? I have heard this and usually play between 2-5 am and mostly get a mix of decent solo survivors and others that have no idea what to do even though they are a rank 5 or4 lol? Just looking to see if there are better times to play and get better solo survivor players?

Ohhh you have no idea how much it sucks when you happen to get hooked in a solo survivor match, you look around and see three other teammates on one gen finishing it slowly while you go to struggle. You know after that happens you are most likely going to be tunneled out the game and for what,,,, others to do one gen. What these selfish survivors do not get is that the match just went into a whole new dynamic that is entirely more killer sided once a survivor is taken off the map prematurely.

Solo queue is pretty fun until you get a killer that camps, slugs, or tunnels. Not that I'm saying these strats are OP or can't be dealt with but solo queue teammates don't do gens and don't have the coordination (or game knowledge/skill) to help out their team so it ends up feeling pretty bad.
Getting a good killer that goes for 12 hooks against solos has created some of my favorite matches though, win or lose. Unfortunately they don't know if they're getting a bunch of solos or a sweaty SWF so most killers probably just assume the latter.
Exactly this,,, so many times I see other solo survivors crouching, sometimes its like two or three survivors at the same time, by the hook while the killer is camping hard. I run Bond so I see it all while I am doing my gen saying to myself,,, self, "there goes this match". It should be universal for all solo survivors, and not have to be said, if the killer is camping do the gens! That is your only chance to make him move or get out the gate. Bond and Kindred should be in everyone's solo survivor build kit at a minimum. It gives you an incredible amount of useful info for those matches where you need them badly. I don't have that many matches these days when camping happens but when it does it is sure nice. Plus, if you are across the map doing a gen and one of your teammates is hooked you know whether to leave and go for the save or stay and finish the gen. Maybe if every solo teammate runs Bond, Kindred, Borrowed Time, and whatever for the 4th slot solo matches would be better??

I guess I just don't know where these SWF squads are because I play solo survivor all the time and in a 4 hour game play session the killers win 90 percent of the matches. Albeit, I do not measure a win by just exiting the gates. To me if I keep my pips/rank that's a win for me and I always say gg even when I lose . Many times though when I am lucky enough to find the hatch the killer usually has something smart to say as if they are pissed they didn't get that 4K,,,like 3K is never good enough. Had a match the other night with a Plague and I was luck enough to get the hatch last minute and did my usual gg,,,and all I got back was a slew of toxic comments. There is just a lot of babies in adult bodies playing and you just have to ignore them,, do not feed the beast. This game is great as is,,,if we can just have everyone play respectfully it would be even that much better.
-
Heck in so many games where the killer wins I am happy to get my butt out of there,, no reason to do anything at the exit gates other than get out lol.
-
I stopped thinking of this game as a win solely by leaving the gates. Yes, that is the ultimate goal but, I consider it a win when I either keep my pips/rank or gain a pip/rank up. That to me is a better indicator of a win.
-
As much as it is tempting to engage in chat,,,dont. I had to fight the urge to say something after I was hooked by the clown then saved only to be tunneled and camped to death. Everything in me wanted to say something but, I resisted and just moved on to the next game. Dont let entitled players live rent free inside of your head. It never ends well because they WILL take you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I started playing dead by daylight when chapter 10 release back in 2018. I recently found some gameclips from 2018 and realised that the changes that these people are whining about were honestly needed. This game isnt dying, its being brought back to life. Dead by Daylight is headed in a very good direction wheither people like it or not.
I agree with this,,,DBD is the best game out there today. It is maddening at times but, that is not the games fault, it is weird players. I say that because I play solo survivor all the time and for the most part the games are great but sometimes you get "that team" who makes all the wrong choices lol. It is hard and sucks but you have to just move on to the next match. This is why I do whats called lobby shopping lol. This game isn't going anywhere but to newer and better heights esp with Resident Evil coming out here soon.
