  • Had a match against a Wraith last night and while he was pretty good we all managed to get out so they are beatable. I will admit they are menacing to go against but do not let that bell he rings scare you. Just go about what your doing and look for the subtle visual cue that he is there as well as the little faint growling as he approaches then run because he is a about to uncloak. Its all about working together and not hiding at the edges of the map or in a locker,,,thats the only way to get out alive.

Well. I understand that this is frustrating, but you cannot control how others play. You can only affect yourself.

My rule is that if someone saves me I'll go through hell and high water to save them back. Sacrifice myself during EGC. The unspoken camaraderie between solo survivors is a big part of what makes that half of the game fun for me. I do what I can to reinforce it.

Exactly this, nothing feels better than when you are hooked at the EGC and you see three yellow aura's coming to help you. I try to do this all the time when feasible. If I am hooked at EGC and being camped I will struggle for as long as I can to let everyone else get the gates and out.

    ^ Title

I've been playing solo queue lately, and it's the usual struggle. Either 1 of 2 things happen that's particularly frustrating:

    • I get hooked and left to die on first hook (while my teammates have an opportunity to save me) OR
    • I unhook someone and then I get left to die on hook after the save (while they have an opportunity to save me)

Understanding that there are different Survivor playstyles and experience levels, I wondered if I should even expect altruistic behavior going forward? Would it be more advantageous for me to leave other Survivors on the hook or slugged on the ground? I've started to rethink my playstyle and wanted to see how other players think about it.

    Thoughts?

Note: I typically run Kindred, so my team can see if the Killer is closeby while I am on hook (or so I can help coordinate hook saves).

I run Kindred and Bond so I can see what my other teammates are doing during my solo matches. Yes, it is frustrating when solo teammates let you go to struggle for no good reason. You would think if half the team is on hooks the others would leave the gen or whatever they are working on to get the saves. I am scared now that some players are going to suicide on the hook in games (which is happening with more frequency) that I try to get the saves as soon as possible. Plus, four players playing is always better than two lol.

  • Those killers who write ggez or yawn LOL want a response just dont give it to them. I usually say GG at the end of almost every game and do not wait for a response. Some toxic players will draw you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Is there any stat that keeps track of how often the killer starts within ten seconds walking distance of a survivor? In fact is there any minimum distance requirement between survivor and killer at all (I mean, beyond sharing the same screen) at the start of a trial? I played for roughly 90 minutes today and had at least 3 or 4 matches in which I JUST start creeping around to find the first gen and before I know it a killer is running right up on me. Literally fifteen seconds or less and the chase music comes rushing at me before I can do anything or even identify a safe direction to go. Surely I can't be the only person this is happening to, I'd love to know if there's a way to look at statistics of "fastest downs" or something.

I hear ya,,,I even ran the add on "start farthest from the killer" and somehow the Killer finds me first and fast lol. This has happened so many times I avoid that addon in the bloodweb like the Plague lol.

Why do you have to stand at the exit gate constantly tbagging? Oh wow. You managed to do all the gens in a huge map like shrine against Clown and get away? That deserves to rub it in the Clown’s face. I like the fact most of the these on here complain about facecamping and tunneling but the minute those exit gates open being nice and civil goes out the window. Time to tbag and be a dickweasel to the killer. Even if he didn’t tunnel or camp.

Not me brother,,I play solo survivor and if I am lucky enough to win I get my butt out of there, no reason to rub it in or do dumb things.

    Hello all!

First of all I am going to deal with some subjects that I know that is quite flammable in this forum, but I will try to be calm and just show my opinion. I have been playing DbD for +/- a month now, have watched months of streams before and that gave me a bit of a headstart. Nonetheless I found myself incredibly lost in my first matches, but well, learning curve right?

I have played a couple of surv games then I dove on killer. Have been playing killer for 3 weeks or so. Then I started to notice things that weren't clear to me while watching streams or so: the game seems to me unbalanced in favour or survivors AND killers at different situations. While in "average" one could say that these differences balance themselves, I believe that it is something that would require honesty and fairplay of both sides, which we know that it doesn't exist in many cases.

The thing is that many people playing act like fifth graders. Survivors cry all the time about camping/slugging/noed killers while killers cry all the time about SWF/keys/etc. I personally never camped, I don't use noed, when I tunnel is by "accident" (I am not a good looper so when a survivor shows up in front of me, well I gotta take the opportunity) and slugging I do it for a minimal just to go and scare survivors off and/or kick gens/pallets. This is why quite often when I could get a 4k, I just get 3k because the last one is looking for the hatch while I am hanging the 3rd one. I acknowledge that doing these things are considered strategies in the game, but I rather try to make a better game for everyone who's playing. I don't care about rank or bloodpoints as well, I just want to make good use of my little free time into enjoying the game.

Then, matchmaking sometimes love to put me (a rank 11-15 killer) together with rank 1 SWF players. I get looped all the time, barely can hit the survs while they do 2-3 gens in few minutes. Then on top of that sometimes there is that one that takes the key and you see all of them just saying good bye in your face. Or worse, when they decide not to move the game forward just to come to me and provoke. I cannot start endgame because the gens are not done and then I have to decide if I want to endure this bullying for more 5-10 minutes or if I should DC for the sake of my mental health. On the end you still have to read things like "GG EZ YOU ******" and stuff like that.

What bothers me is that the game gives a lot of incentive for people to be like that. Since a lot of people play for bloodpoints and pips, they will try to do the most to get these things. If they are playing against a baby killer, they will extend the game as much as possible just to extract all the bloodpoints they want. I know there are killers who just don't care about this and even like it because they can also get more bloodpoints and pips, but I don't see this as being the main purpose of fun for this game, or at least it shouldn't.

Well, TL;DR. I thing this game has a lot of broken mechanics that wouldn't be a problem if the players played fair. Since they don't, the game can be really a stressful experience while still having to deal with people bullying you. I don't think that SWF should not exist. It is natural for people to play with their friends. But maybe BHVR should give more attention to trying to make this game a healthier environment instead of indirectly feeding the toxicity. I loved the game in general, but sometimes I really feel like uninstalling it because the toxicity really ruins all the fun. Maybe not showing rank would help? The people would have less incentive to farm so many bloodpoints just to be a "red rank"... Or maybe create a mechanic that enforces the game to move on if no one is doing anything.

Sorry for the long text :)

See it is this type of survivor game play that pisses off killer mains and they get into solo survivor matches with me and are pissed from what happen in a previous SWF match. I never saw any of this until I played killer. I tried a few rounds and it went okay until you get those teams that know you are new and instead just making Aa fun game they pull out all the toxic crap. Just know that not all survivors are like the ones you went up against. There are more of us, I hope, who just want a good game and let the chips fall where they may.

  • This is exactly why as a solo survivor I do not play those dumb games and play respectfully. If I win great then I get my butt out of there, and If I lose I try to do it gracefully and no toxic crap. Even if it was a crap match and we lost big time I still say GG.

  • I honestly don't see how killer would be that hard. I have played it a few times and have absolutely no idea what I was doing as a rank 20 killer however, managed to kill most of the survivors. I understand as you progress the matches getter harder but you have one ONE objective and no one else's actions to worry about. I play solo survivor and that is where the frustration begins! When you get a crew who DC's for no good reason as I have trekked across the map to save you only to find you suicide on the hook just because you got downed first. Then you end up losing badly, de-pipping, and possibly going down one rank for someone else's actions. Had a match the other night and two solo survivors did this one after the other.

  • I dont think I have seen a killer main lately not use agitation. That may be in response to that hook bug thing that is going around. TBH if I was a killer and thought there was a possible chance I had to travel across the map to get a hook I would use agitation as a base build too.

I would very much get bored of it but it seems that the majority your running into don't. You seem to think I'm wrong and I'm not an expect on Bubba so I could very well be. if you don't think they do it for the easy win why do you think they do it?

Other than just flat out winning,, I think some are just weird people who enjoy holding others hostage to see who will help and off them too honestly. But, hey you do you and I will do me that's the perfect part of this game.

  • @wxnickxw said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2134671#Comment_2134671

They do it because it's s great way to win. If you come for the save your going down and if not it becomes a 3 v1 instead of a 4 v1. Only penalty is the points off for the emblem so Why wouldn't you camp?

Wouldn't you get tired of doing that? This is a game, and like most games, is meant to be fun. Fun is NOT doing the something every time just to win. Plus, it is lazy game play. A 6 year old child can hook and then sit in front of the hook waiting for others to come. If you have that childlike "win or I will take my ball and go home" type mentality then good on ya. But hey whatever gets you off that's cool with me because I win a large majority of the games where Bubba's do this.

    Story

I just got into a game and it was a Leather face, my teammate went down and he went into the basement. The leather face was camping at the top of the basement for literally no reason, we were at 5 gens and we were all solo queue, nobody was being toxic or annoying him, and he just face camps. The basement was in the main building at Badham. So he was standing at the top of the basement stairs and you can't do anything because he will just chainsaw you. I wanted to be a team player so I tried baiting his chainsaw to go save my teammate but I just die and he took me down in the basement.

Do you want to know what happened next? It's pretty obvious, we both died on first hook and depiped. I understand killers face camping in the endgame or near the end of the game and I have no problem with that, but its killers face camping when nothing has even happened. There is usually a way to save your teammate when a killer is face camping, like baiting a hit or body blocking with survivors. But there is no way to counter a Bubba face camping except do gens and watch your teammate die. Face camping in the endgame is okay and I don't have a problem with it, because it's a last resort and really the only way to win. It's just annoying having no way to counter a Bubba face camping, he needs counterplay when he is camping. It's a confirmed kill if a Bubba face camps, you can't do anything.

Now I'm not saying nerf his power into the ground, Bubba is fun to play as and against, and he is a fair killer for both sides, but he has that one huge flaw. I'm not sure how they can change him without changing his basic chainsaw aspect, but he just needs counterplay when he face camps.

I think Bubba's, more than any other killer, face camp and I still to this day have yet to find one player give me a reason as to why?? I have only been playing for a few months but I play a few hours every night and can say with no exaggeration that Bubba's are always the one's who face camp consistently from the start. I see trickster do it but most of them camp at the end game which is understandable. But Bubba's do it from the get up and if your on the hook it sucks. The only thing you can do is struggle for as long as you can and take up so much of the killers time that the other survivors are almost out the gate before he can get to the 2nd survivor. Maybe,,,, just maybe when this happens on a wide enough scale the 6 year children who play these types of Bubba's will get the hint and play the game straight up.

Had a match in Wreckers last night where a Bubba downed then walked half way across the map to hook in the dungeon. Of course, you guessed it, he he sat there. I saw this because I run Kindred and tried with others to bait him but he wasnt going for it. So we just went to the other side of the map and did gens. It is sad that I have to run Kindred all the time just to see who is going to camp from the start.

  • I used to hate when I hear Spirit in a match,, now I have just learned to listen for the clues and try to be as erratic as I can. That at least gives me some space most of the time after phasing to get to a jungle gym or shack to create even more distance.

  • Maybe I am just lucky because games come for me really fast. I wait like maybe 20 secs between games for the next match. Then again I play solo survivor which kinda sucks and would happily wait longer for better teammates lol.

But it IS inconsiderate to not THINK before taking an action.

My DC may have been inconsiderate in hindsight, but screw teammates like that. Inconsiderate behaviour begets inconsiderate behaviour.

Dude you need to take a break from the game because that crap happens just about every night I play solo survivor. You can never go into a game thinking players are as experienced as you so yeah,,,take a break.

No. You can’t excuse not thinking with “just trying to help”. It’s not okay if the majority of “help” some attempts to provide only gives teammates grief and gets them killed.

    It’s not excusable.

All I am just saying is dont think that people are trying to screw you or the game over. Some are just not as experienced as you and made bad calls. Trust me, I am in the same camp as you. I have this type of stuff happen all the time but I dont rage quit, I just move on to the next game.

Was playing the Ormond map as Wraith. At least two of them were in a party. I sat there and watched all of them work on a gen together then immediately went to the next to knock it out quick. Ok. If that’s how we are going to play this. Went for a Jeff and downed him, hooked him and went after someone else. Two seconds later unhooked Jeff. Went back and put his butt on the hook again. Had to get someone out of the match fast. He died and I was able to turn the tide of battle after that. Of course got hate messages afterwards. I don’t know what he expected when they were knocking gens out faster than opening a candy bar wrapper.

Brother, like others have said you didnt really "play" the game,,,waiting is just dumb and then to tunnel afterwards because you are pissed that survivors are going to do what survivors do is crazy, sorry. Myself and other survivors would have just rather you played straight up and if we get hooked oh well. I play several matches where killer mains for some reason sit there until a gen or two is done then spring into action. Then after the match is over they rage,,,it is weird??

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2131883#Comment_2131883

No it didn't. As long as it doesn't become a habit it's fine.

I honestly don't blame you. One time i saw a claudette run around the map and just drop pallets left and right, the killer obviously just went following her around so that she could keep doing it. So the moment the killer stopped following her and was heading my way for the hit I just left. Not bothering with that.

Had my 5 minutes of relaxation and then searched for a match as nurse.

Had a Claudette the other night drop a pallet right next to me for no reason lol. I just chalked it up to hopefully and mistake but it was maddening. I had to get out of there quick fast and in a hurry because the killer was coming. Solo survivor really sucks sometimes.

  • I cant tell you how many times I have never found the hatch yet on videos of some Twitch players they seem to get it ALLLLLLLLLL the time LOL. Some others have commented that "so-and-so" never finds the hatch, the hatch finds them. I think this is true, some players are hatch magnets LOL.

  • @TheClownIsKing said:

Some of you make me want to go postal 🤬

Was just in a match on Iron Works whilst running Tenacity. I intentionally went down for a Meg being tunnelled by Deathslinger to buy her some time to escape. Of course he ignored me on the ground and kept going after Meg. Anyway, knowing Deathslinger would return for me the moment he downed Meg, I started to crawl away so I could get further away than expected, and out of the expected areas I know Deathslinger would search.

This dumb ass Ash insists on running up to me straight away to try and heal me. I keep cancelling and crawling away CERTAIN of what Deathslinger would do, and KNEW Ash wouldn’t get me up in time. Ash FINALLY relents after a half dozen attempts, once he spots Deathslinger and lets me crawl away. I get halfway across the map, Ash trails me somewhat, I have pretty much recovered at this point (because of Tenacity), and was ready for Ash to revive me, but for some dumb ass reason Ash decides to sabotage a hook nearby once he hears the periphery of the TR. I try to crawl AWAY from what that jerk just did, but then I’m spotted by Deathslinger as he comes to investigate the hook, picks me up.

I was so blinded by rage I just DC. I’m done for the day. I am exhausted by other survivors stupidity. I’m exhausted from the primary reason I am found or I die is because of another survivor.

    Ugh.

Sorry brother but that DC just made you part of the problem. Ash might have been "trying" to help. His intentions might have been good just poorly executed. We all have to remember this is just a game. If you get that mad you have to rage quit you might want to take a break from the game.

Had a match the other night where I was being tunneled and finally got to the gates and was downed. Well, I was within crawling distance of the exit and two of the survivors were trying to heal me where they could have just let me crawl out. Every time they tried to heal me it made me stop and prevented me from getting to the exit. I was picked up and hooked ending the match for me. Yes, I was a bit miffed but in the end they were trying to help when they could have done other things like body block or kept the killers attention so I could crawl out. But I took this as the other solo survivors trying to help. In the end, just move on there will be better matches.

  • Might be cool to have where one survivor could turn on the rest or get "infected" after a hit (from a specific killer who has this ability not all killers could do this) and switch spots with the killer. So, you go into the match as a killer but in the middle somewhere a hit can possibly change all that and now the tables have turned and the killer has to play survivor and the "hit" survivor plays the killer. I dont know just a thought. Would def throw a wrench in the supposed "I hate all these SWF's" that I see some constantly complaining about.

  • I almost always struggle on the hook and will def do it if I see you camping. Last night, had the inevitable Trickster camp me on the hook as there was only two of us solo survivors left. So I waited my time as this was my first hook and then went to struggle,,, and struggled and struggled allowing enough time for the last survivor to complete the gen that I 99'd and then to the gates.

Trickster sat there the entire time right next to me. The funniest part is if he would have went into the next room of Lery's he would have caught the other solo survivor on the gen but alas he didnt as he was consumed with camping me in the hopes the other survivor was coming. After the match he was pissed. I honestly do not get the entitlement of some killer mains as if I should have accepted my fate and just died to make their match easier??

Basically the falling animation doesn't allow you to move your character but pointing would skip this animation allowing you to start moving earlier while downed. This could help you make sure that you can make it to a pallet after you get downed or if you're teabagging at the exit gates for whatever reason, you could make sure that you get out once you're downed in case the falling animation screws you over.

Ohhhh thank you for the explanation.

Inner Strength is nice, but it sucks so much when your teammates cleanse totems or if someone else is using the perk. I have to bring in a med kit every match for back up, just in case I can't find a totem. Thinking to go back to SC just because Inner Strength can be so annoying.

Yes you are correct I see players all the time breaking totems and thats cool but I am like no I needed that LOL

  • I didnt think this was actually a real thing until the other night when I saw the killer going across the map to hook and wondering why all the other solo survivors were able to jump off lol. I just thought everyone had DS.

  • Can someone explain to me the difference between the falling animation and the new animation and how pointing changes that please. I have seen people do this a lot and never stood why?

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2129036#Comment_2129036

Yeah. Me personally, when I lose, i spend more time with that killer to get better with them. It's a much healthier alternative to blaming SWF imo.

I started playing this game a few months ago and it is very easy to blame others and get a false sense of how good you "think" you are. A lot of my matches when I was rising to red ranks as a solo survivor were the direct result of other better players. I knew I wasnt that good yet I still blamed killers for me losing. It wasn't them, they were just doing their job and part of the game. I watched videos and learned how to loop (even though I am still not that good at it but getting better). This game can be maddening at times but when you get a good group of other solo players working together it is an awesome thing.

  • I think it is a good perk and very useful if you are no where near a survivor and have been hooked twice already then SC is a def must. I try not to rely on it because it takes up so much time unless you stack it with Botany. Inner Strength is better but sometimes those totems are hidden pretty well in maps like Midwich and Lery's.

  • @Mary_Saotome said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2126784#Comment_2126784

They exist, but very, very rare. Most of the time they're actually solos, and the killer just isn't good. As a killer main, I'm embarrassed by these kinds of people. They're like tru3. If you're losing, it just HAS to be SWF, right? It couldn't POSSIBLY be your own lack of skill!

Could not say it better myself. I played a match last night and Freddy DC'd after about the 4th gen and not being able to hook anyone. Now, I play solo always, I have no team and I highly doubt the other players were part of a team because they were all over the place. Just like some survivor players think killer mains are doing things they shouldn't (camping, tunneling) there are killers who blame bad game play on SWF's.

  • If by casual player you mean the buttheads who rage quit (DC) while I am playing solo survivor because they got downed first then yes.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2126813#Comment_2126813

I think the issue I have with him is that he’s meant to be the easier ranged killer to use by the Devs own objective. The problem is that they over compensated by giving him slow speed/large number to lose a health state to make him not seem oppressive and lastly all design was made with only PC(mouse and keyboard) in mind in terms of balancing.

so he has a higher skill caps with very little reward. Sure high tier killer mains can be brutal with him but I’ve seem the same killer mains be brutal with BK Myers as well... do we really only what this killer to be used sometimes with killer mains on pc with x amount of hours?

So I am confused, should all the killers have the same type of lethality or brutality or should there be some kind of disparity with regard to the different types of killers you can play and leave that choice up to the player? If not, why not then just have one killer and thats it,,,its a serious question. It seems to me there should be a range of killer lethality and thats a good thing in a game,,,if you dont like one killer dont play him.

I'm just trying to understand so 4 people are good with him so he doesn't deserve a buff?

No brother, I think he does deserve a buff because unless you have really, and I mean really, practiced with him his powers are not like Huntress and Slinger. It takes better aim and adjustment and yes he is slow and that is why I thought the devs buffed his speed and knives a little? All I am saying is he is not as easy as Huntress to take survivors down from half way across the map and thats okay. There has got to be some variance between killers. I used to HATE him thinking he was weird and didnt fit in the game. Now, I kinda like playing against him and I have played some really good killer mains who slayed with him a lot.

  • I am one of those rare solo survivors who knows what it is like to have two other solo survivors DC because they get downed first so I never do it. I dont care if I get tunneled or camped, I still act like it is just another game. Had a game a few nights ago where first player downed then hooked and while someone was running to get them right at the hook they DC. Then the player who was trying for the save DC'd and because I am running Kindred and Bond I see it all. I am on my gen going "#########". So I continue and finish my gen and then try to complete the game. Of course, I died but I never DC because I know others are counting on me even if it is to just take up a fraction of the killers time.

  • Where are all these SWF teams and keys used to get everyone out because I literally play between 3-4 hours a night, every night, and I have yet to see one of these sweaty SWF teams people speak of? I think because a killer main plays against a team a night and it pisses them off they think it is happening a lot more than it really is. I dont mean to downplay you, or your experience but, I have learned this game has its own ebbs and flows. Some days are really good and some days you want to throw your keyboard lol.

so because 4 killer mains use him effectively that means he should remain this weak mess right now

let's keep main event the way it is

let's keep him being infinitely looped at a rock because 4 killers use him effectively

Okay dude seems like you are taking this to a whole new level and might need to take a break from the game. No need to keep responding to me move on to others. Have a good one.

there is a difference between a challenge and just plain not ######### fun.

trickster is too ######### slow to chase survivors at loops and his knives are too weak to end those chases quickly.

This makes loops very unfun to play against. Huntress and deathslinger can injure at vaults and pallets. Trickster can but it requires 8 hits which is the issue by the time you get 3 knives at a vault they are already gone and off to the next loop.

Almost every loop against trickster is practically infinite because he's too slow and his knives are too weak

It's not fun and it's not a "challenge."

A 60 pound handicapped kid going against an MMA fighter is not a "challenge" the kid is dead on arrival.

I dont know brother, I have seen plenty of rank 4/5 killer mains use him very effectively. Yes, he is somewhat slow and the blade throwing is different but not every killer can be a Huntress where you throw those damn hatchets from across the map and it insta downs you and you werent even near them LOL. He requires more aim and adjustment. I get what your saying but there has to be some leveling of killers they cant all be super easy and super deadly.

Exactly brother, I like and hate going against the Trickster.. I like him because of the character and he is unique but hate him when a killer main knows how to play him. In that instance he is very deadly.

trickster needs a buff and it's not surprising when survivor mains tell you he's fine.

guess survivors don't want a challenge

I am guessing killer mains dont want a challenge and just instead want that easy one hit down with a hatched like they are used to with Huntress. Stop complaining dude, he is a decent killer,,,not the best but still decent. Dont go into a game with the expectation of an easy 4K.

and now you know why killers only play nurse and spirit.

the only 2 killers viable enough to compete

RIP trickster because I was told not to play him. Can't wait for his random ass nerf in a couple months like they did to the twins.

I actually dont mind to see Nurse and Spirit as a survivor, if you recognize their weaknesses and learn to play against it. Seems to me that you complain when you cant get that easy 4k consistently? Yes, the Trickster makes you work harder to get the wins but holy hell dude just work harder. Dont complain the recoil is crappy, adjust for it,,,dont complain he is slower (which has been buffed anyway) pressure the players better. I play solo survivor every night and always come across a Trickster and most of those killer mains are very deadly.

  • Both before and after the buff Trickster seemed okay to me. I do not see why people complain about him? I have seen killer mains use him very effectively and others who are not that good use him less effectively. I think the problem is killer mains are used to Huntress and how easy she is to throw/down and expected that in Trickster. Now, some killer mains have to work at it a bit more and its throwing them off.

  • Then don't play Trickster problem solved???

  • LOL this meme is funny but it does happen in the game from time to time. I dont mind as much if they are running BT but most do not run this perk when they do an unsafe save.

I just had a game against a 4man breakdown squad and by the end of it there wasn't a single hook on the map besides basement hooks.

(For those of you who dont know breakdown is currently glitched and breaks hooks indefinitely)

I had no idea about this but it jives with what I saw the other day when I did the "break 4 hooks" challenge and didnt see them respawn at all.

Well it's a miserable experience not being able to communicate with teammates. Dying on first hook because no one knew who was doing what is a lovely time.

Thus my solo survivor hell. So ,any times I see other solo survivors doing dumb stuff I wish I could talk to them. Even so, most of them will still DC or suicide on the hook out of rage. Happens every night I play in multiple matches,,, it should be banned!

I honestly don't think they will even pick up on the toxicity in the beginning. They will need to learn the game and its mechanics before realizing they are getting bullied in a sense. When i first started playing this game i didnt care nor do i still care about winning. Toxicity is hard to come by now a days with chat filter and all that.

Yeah I think the chat thing should go away...all the time I read so much toxic crap going on in there. When I play now I dont even care about winning,,,I try to play for fun and see if my game play was worthy enough of a pip. Lately though, pips seem harder to get for solo survivors? Ever since the rank reset I play the same yet pip up less and less?

I think the main problem is killers have to assume swf when going in all matches. SoloQ vs Swf is a major balancing issues pair with the fact a lot of swfs smurf to get bb killers to bully and it’s a hot mess. I would love to play around with builds as killer but every time I do, I get the worst toxic swfs. I prepare the next match for that and I get legit survivors my rank and then I have to reign myself in.

I think you are right. I played as a killer a few nights ago for the first time, I am rank 20 killer obviously, and had some of the worst games against some survivors. So it is on both sides. SWF teams get killers good and primed to be mad or dismayed at how they play so when they hit solo survivors like me it all looks the same. Also, I failed to mention before survivors who DC or suicide on the hook are way worse than any killer could ever be and that has been happening a lot in games recently.

then again imagine nemesis a nemesis a killing machine get pallet stunned and blinded at every pallet

Now that will be cool! To me any killer from Resident Evil will be epic

1 2 3 4 5 … 7
