Welcome to one of many reasons why I'm slowly giving up on dbd.
oh, what a tragedy
-
U don't need to waste your perk slot if U don't want to...I mean that if there has an obsession in the trail, the killer will regard U all survivors have DS, U just need to change it to "unbreakable".

@Snapshot said:
What about survivors instantly getting to stage 2 on the hook in the basement?
isn't that too much powerful?
-
not at all. I can't bear the noob teammates when I play in mankind, and get scared to s-h-i-t when I meet the spirit on face. Sometime I feel more nervous than the 4 squad when I play as killer, becuz they do the gen rush.
-
oh, that is just what I want!

Stake Out+
Getting close to the Killer fills you with determination.
For each 10 seconds you are standing within the Killer's Terror Radius and are not in a Chase, you gain a Token up to a maximum of 2/3/4 Tokens.
When Stake Out has at least 1 Token, Good Skill Checks are considered Great Skill Checks, give you 2% more progression and consume 1 Token.
Maybe this?
don't you know that if U hit a great skill check, there ought to be 2% bonus? I think this perk should add more bonus like 3%,4% or 5%, if there has the hex:ruin, it still have some bonus (maybe 1% or 2%).

Hello,
Please keep in mind we have a Chinese CM. @Andy and @Barry is the Chinese moderator.
There is a seperate forum that's run by both of them. They can give you more information about it.
It's not, because the devs don't care, it's just a different station basically. Players choose where they want to go.
thanks a lot. I got it.
-
what? isn't that they hate spirit much more than Billy? compare to the spirit, l prefer someone chase me with chainsaw!
-
@OnryosTapeRentals said:
It seems like there is a lot fewer players posting on the Chinese forum although that could just be because the forums have recently been changed. A lot of people might not know how to access them right now since the forums underwent a slight re-design.
I afraid that reason is not so simple. the Chinese forum has been keep cold and cheerless for a long time. whatever, nobody will care about the Chinese players, maybe.

Debuff on gen wont work no matter what the only solution its making a second objective gor survivor an example they need to find first gas can and put it on gen so that they can start doing the gen this will get rid off the gen rush and both sides will be happy
then there will be something like gas rush, that is just like the Left 4 Dead 2

You should play your game and let me play mine perhaps.
I also never said I run them. I was merely speaking in hypotheticals as to why I felt it better than MoM.
Nice try though.
come on, don't be unhappy, I will try that, I mean that your idear is not bad, it is just a bit weak to against with the killer.

That's actually a very interesting idea. Might be a little steep to consider it reusable, you'd have to get hit 6 times in a game just to use it twice. But it would make healing in the late game more viable over just rushing generators for adrenaline, and it could be used to heal up quickly and go for an end game save.
sir it's an interesting idear but not a acceptable idear, right?

Not a joke. With how often unbreakable and DS are, killers enjoy leaving you for "JUST long enough", to where even if neither are being ran, flip flop helps. Pair it with tenacity and/or unbreakable and it's great.
Sorry that "can be abused in a bad state" doesnt mean good perk to me. Even when MoM was that useful, it wasnt his best perk.
to be honest, I don't think that strategy is fine, you should keep more useful perk with you, including DS and dead hard, rather than flip flop...

Detention has always been in the gamefiles and the wiki is fanmade as well. Not saying it's not trustworthy but you should refrain from seeing the wiki as a place where leaks happen. There's also a page about the Actor which should have been Ghostface with a shapeshifting power (which is totally fake).
EDIT : That article was deleted since Ghostface's release but my point still stands.
-
Can't agree more for changing the saboteur!
long long ago, in the fog, there were many survivors wandering around. they were not willing to do the gen rush,instead, they did sabotage, breaking hooks and trapper's bear traps.those people haven't do the right things yet, but they were so happy becauz the killer could not hook them!
but now, these guys disappear! becauz they forget how to sabotage fast, and get sacrificed...

That'll make Decisive Strike a must use perk. It's better to nerf the Mori itself as that's the root of the issue.
All right. to be honest, I think the mori is just OK. trying to nerf the mori itself may be a bit embarrassing...
-
Mori may be an easy way for the killer to against with the squads doing gen rush. I play this game for a long time, but I didn't get killed by the mori offering when I play in single. We should not be so strict to the killer player, I think if the decisive strike can be used for the mori, that could be better.
-
oh, come on, man. Mercy, don't be so strict to me.
-
Not a bad idear. why don't we ask the developers for the advice? like Mr.peanits@Peanits or someone else

Aha, I didn't see the Trivia bit at the bottom. I should have anticipated that it worked like all other positive effects. So, I guess 22.22 seconds of Exhaustion is as short as it gets, then.
Well, now U know the truth,and then U may find that it is totally a useless perk……

@[Deleted User] said:
I'd like to rework Vigil into something different instead of it's, barely noticeable, very short ranged, aura effect.
The problem with Vigil is not only does it not do a lot, even if it is doing work, it's not noticeable. It's too passive and in the background, making an already bad perk look even worse.
I'd rework it into something like:
"You look over your friends, even in dire situations.
When rescuing someone from the hook within 32 meters of the killer's presence, you both gain a 150% sprinting bonus effect for 2.0/2.5/3.0 seconds."
...Or something to that effect.
No exhaustion. Immediate impact rather than a slow, barely noticeable passive. Niche, but useful in dire situations, following the same kind of play style as Borrowed Time.
I Agree. but how to rework that useless perk, we may need a detailed and acceptable description.
-
@EldritchElise87 said:
No, No no.
Because any ability to recover exhaustion in a chase, and we have infinites again. Even at 60 seconds.
If the maps are reworked to the point where recovering exaustion while running won't create infinite loops again, sure, but as is now, no. Surley survivors realise theres no fun in chases that are 100% safe for the survivor, it was boring before because there was no risk.
ah, U actually said somethings right. I didn't consider too much on the endless chasing, because I usually think that is just impossible. so now the survivor have to do the gen rush, they realize the map is not save enough for a long chasing game, thier repair rate is so fast and makes me feel so awful when I play as a killer(even I have the hex:ruin).

But now he is suggesting that another perk is needed for that, are you even reading? Using a whole perkslot for that would change the meta again. Less DS users, less adrenaline users.. In general less perks in the trial basically. Plus as said it would take over 1 minute. Chasing someone for so long is already very bad play from the kilker
thanks bro, finally there is someone totally understand my words, U are just so cool man.love U♡

That's what it was before guy too. Was still broken, spamming exhaustion perks. Even from a survivor perspective. Even just having exhaustion recover too fast is bad
eh, I just want to hope that the vigil can be reworked at first, but I can't think out a better idear to deal with it,so I tried to let the vigil enables the exhaustion cooldown while in chasing, and hope the perk can buff like that. I didn't think much futher on the other ways.

Vigil stacks I believe, and if it does or doesn't to be able to hold a killer all game is cancer. You take two slots but gaurantee a map run. The thing about dbd is the balancing. Things gotta be made in mind of the higher skilled players.
I actually hope the things U say is true.To be honest, I haven't tried that with the other player to prove it. So I just can believe in wikipedia of DBD, it's always right.

You look over your friends even in dire situations.
You and your Allies within 8 metres of range recover from Exhaustion, Hemorrhage, Mangled, Hindered and Blindness Status Effects 10/15/20 % faster.
Once out of range, this effect persists for 15 seconds.
"I'm gonna be here when you wake up. You're gonna make it." — Quentin Smith
@lostkq , @sanki it has the same description as Streetwise in terms of ally effects, and Streetwise stacks as far as I'm aware.
Well, bro, this perk is not acting like streetwise, thought the description of the perk didn't mention that vigil is not stackable, but is working in that way. if U don't believe me, why don't go to the game Wiki of DBD to check it out ?
-
@Panduh said:
Vigil's problem isn't that- "oh man I don't get faster double exhaustion anymore". The problem with Vigil is it's interaction is so niche and the few things is does tangibly effect are effected so little that it isn't worth the slot.
It: doesn't effect two of the biggest timed debuffs, Exposed and Broken. (IE Deliverance, Broken add-ons, Make Your Choice, Hex: Haunted Grounds. NOT Evil Within, Hex: NOED)
Not to mention one of the most popular status effects today is mangled via Sloppy Butcher. Sloppy Butcher isn't timed, it's forever until healed. Vigil cannot interact with this perk.
For the few effects that Vigil does touch, it doesn't really effect it enough to make a difference because the number difference is either too small for a perk slot, or the timed status effect in question was just so long the 20% didn't make much of a difference overall.
Well, the problem you mentioned is also terrible, it just makes this perk totally useless, but the developers seem don't want to buff it anyway.
-
@lostkq said:
Very good idea BTW but it CANT be 50/60/65 that would be TOO powerful considering you could sprint burst multiple times Although if this Does get added i am DEFFINATLY running sprint burst again just to for the memorys and its taking up a whole perk slot so thats pretty balanced although it cant be over 45 - 50 because back in the day it was half the exhaustion and even that was bothersome so i can deffinatly understand where your coming from im really hoping to see this in a patch.
thanks, man. I didn't think too much for the that perk, I just hoped that perk shouldn't be so weak at first. but now U see, the developers said it was a kind of stepping back to bring back double exhaustion...So nothing will change.

We've definitely heard this one before. I wouldn't give it a concrete "no", but we aren't too keen on bringing back double exhaustion in a chase. It was intentionally paused while in a chase for various reasons, and having it come back would be a step backwards.
WOW, I'm so happy that u can reply to me immediately, that is reaaaaally cool !!! well, I feel a bit sorry for your words about that idear, but would u buff that perk anymore?
-
@Peanits sorry to bother u, could U say something for this idear? I really want to know how the developers think about this.

The pink perks were cool, there's no doubt, but the different rarities created so many issues in the past, so maybe it's better the way it is right now ;)
you are right, so I posted this on wishlist.Maybe it will come true one day(^~^)

@Milo said:
Yes they do look beautifull.
But there are 2 problems (although 1 is smaller)
- The cost would increase thus making grinding longer
- because how bloodweb operates it would be harder to find those perks
Indeed, those problems are the reasons why they removed the ultra rare perks, just hope the developers can find some ways to solve themԾ‸Ծ

@Kind_Lemon said:
I'm curious if anyone knows the answer to this, but with all 4 survivors near each other, each having vigil and head on, is it possible to almost stun lock a killer on one of those red forest tiles with all the lockers considering it would be an 80% reduction on a 40 second cooldown. That's 8 seconds of no head on and ~4 seconds to get in the locker and wait out the activation timer. Each survivor only has nine seconds of stun time before the killer is free to move, however. Do these perks work like this?
What an Interesting question. well, the perk "vigil" isn't a stackable perk, so, there is no the 80% reduction on the cooldown.
-
No doubt that is an excellent idear, I'll keep on focusing on this project.

Ya,it's still a good perk....if not nerf it like that way, asking for 3 hits to avoid 1 hit. I PREFER safe unhook or get hit for 3 times, what it used to be.

vigil should let you recover from exhaustion even if you are running
