This tier list doesn't take the varied killer playstyle into account.

BBQ and chili isn't S tier on Hag due to her limited mobility.

Hexes can be removed becoming a wasted perk slot at the beginning of the majority of matches.

There are other examples, but meh.

just because it's S tier doesn't mean I'm saying it's a must use. This just gives an idea of how good perks are compared to others. and I explained the drawback to the hex perks in every hex perk description.

  • the last thing killers need is a nerf, especially on a perk that isn't OP. it's good, and can be really good on nurse or billy, but it only shows them for 4 seconds, and a lot of mind games can be played on the killer if the survivor is good enough.

    no I'm on their side

  • think about this in a real sense and not a lore sense...how would it look to have a game where you can kill little kids by hanging them on meat hooks.

  • maybe that could explain why he has hooks in his shoulders and back

  • i haven't noticed anything different personally

  • use ace and think of him as an undercover cop using quentin's perks

  • imagine making a thread trying to get at someone for 'tunneling', and just get exposed and humiliated.
    tough

  • survivors tend to be whiny little shits so honestly I'd just say get used to it. it's a shame too, they can just stay an extra 10 seconds and live through the animation, it's really not that big a deal.

  • wglf for survivor for the bloodpoints
nurse's calling or brutal strength for killer

  • If you own the leatherface dlc, you get a bruised Dwight face, and I believe for this latest chapter you get a white shirt for the new survivor. So far neither are really worthwhile, so if you only want the dlc for the exclusive then don't bother. But in the future hopefully there will be better ones. I doubt Auric cells will ever be part of the reward, simply for money reasons.

  • Honestly it used to bug me but when I became a killer main, I understand the killer's agony and when I play survivor and get tunneled or camped I can't really blame them anymore. I personally try my best to resist camping and tunneling, but every now and then a situation calls for it.

  • I think the new survivor has a white shirt that you get for buying DLC but I'm not sure. Not that that's a good enough reward for buying the dlc but...

  • yeah the yellow light burn addon has always been enough to avoid it, especially since not many people really seem to know about it or care.

  • I honestly love these ideas, only thing I'd add is that self care doesn't wake a survivor up.

Still very new to the game and there's some things I can't understand that, really, are needlessly frustrating. How did the game end up in this current state?

    1. Why can the survivors run for what seems like an eternity? Do they not have a stamina pool that runs out, punishing them for not using it strategically? Or do they, and it just doesn't matter?

The killers all need to be faster.

    1. Why are the killers slowed by everything they do? I think I understand the logic, so that things aren't so overly difficult for survivors, but the killers are being punished by their own actions just for taking them. It's like a survivor using speed boost, you hit them, and not only do they take off like the Road Runner but you just stand there like a dope wiping off your weapon!

Again, the killers all need to be faster.

I don't know, I guess these areas are what comes to mind for me being new, more than anything. There's so much I see that I'm just thinking, "Where's the horror?" The game feels, too often, more like it's an evil killer trying to deal with bully, trolling, OP humans.

There's just some basic things that every killer should be able to deal with in a way that puts some real pressure on survivors so they know that of they aren't trying to survive, they will die.

The game opens with a cinematic that in my opinion doesn't represent the actual experience in the slightest.

the only stamina pool that survivors have is their exhaustion, which is only triggered by perks like Sprint Burst and Dead Hard, along with a couple others. They allow the survivor to dash forward or sprint at 150% speed, then they're exhausted for around 40-60 seconds.

  • I'd hope they would look at him as well as every other killer to make each of them better, but Freddy is the weakest and deserves the first look. It seems they don't really have much of an intention to really address the problem at the core and instead want to make incredibly minor changes that seem like they would help but really don't.
Also the fact that Freddy has been so bad for so long may indicate that they'd rather us forget freddy even exists instead of fixing him honestly

They should never directly increase the gen repair time imo they should indirectly do it in some way

they could make there be more skillchecks and make the skillcheck zones harder, but I think those changes would only really be surface level changes, people would just adjust and still be able to gen rush. Increasing the time it takes to repair is essentially the only thing that would make a difference.

Then solo queues survival rate would be EVEN LOWER than the 30% it’s at now. The problem isn’t killers being too weak, it’s SWF being too strong.

everyone knows how to pallet loop and waste enough of the killers time to allow their teammates to do gens or get hook saves, regardless if they're playing together or solo. whenever I play survivor, I usually play solo and I was still easily able to destroy killers and help the team. SWF is a problem, but honestly I don't think there is any way to fix it other than to remove it altogether, which I don't support

  • NOED is always super satisfying to me.

  • Definitely nurse or wraith. how would you combat that irl when literally nothing like that is even possible to anything else?

  • ehhh, good idea but would just add more micro transactions.

  • trapper or doc, but wraith and huntress honorable mentions.

thats kinda bs I mean I understand they need to make money and that's what this is all for but at least let us very slowly earn auric cells. and the fact that certain items can only be bought with auric cells is ######### too. i don't care if they're grindy as hell at least let us get them somehow. thanks for the help

That's why they made cosmetics purchasable with slowly acquired shards.

certain ones can only be purchased with auric cells

If you can get wax wraith with shards then I have no idea what you're complaining about.

Other than that, cough or up or forgo.

It's really not much too ask to allow players to get cosmetics without forking out money, especially when all of the auric packs are expensive as hell considering how many you get. I'd understand why they wouldn't want it easy to earn auric packs, of course. But expecting to be able to enjoy content in a game isn't too outrageous

  • I loved it at first because it was creepy and fun.
Now I love it more because I already have 250+ hours and I want to get bloody clothes for my characters. I'm still addicted to it, but not for the same reasons. (once further balancing is done for killers I may love it for the right reasons again.)

The whole point of bloodlust if to force pallets down.
    Let that to sink in.

the point of bloodlust is to allow the killer to catch up in a losing chase

and also, you don't have to be a dick
    let that sink in.

  • favorite is definitely red forest, I love the fog and the fact that the map is damp and cold looking

least favorite is backwater swamp, specifically grim pantry, pale rose isn't quite as bad. also the game(gideon meat plant) sucks, and lery's against a hag can be devastating, but any other killer and lery's is fun.

  • personally, I would keep the legacy skin exclusive to the people that originally got it, but create a new skin for each character with some insane unlock requirement. maybe the same skin but make it glow blue instead of yellow, or something like that

  • i'd say to maximize this have blood warden on, then it might be pretty good

  • assuming that each killer is being used by someone that is good with them,
    1. nurse
    2. doctor
    3. billy
    4. leatherface
    5. michael or huntress, can't decide

my personal favorites, not taking into account how good they actually are,
    1. wraith
    2. trapper
    3. doctor
    4. leatherface
    5. michael

  • great idea, but idk if it would actually translate into a balanced killer. just one of those things I think is better on paper. hell of an idea though

  • i swear my dailies 9/10 times are for killers I haven't used and don't really want to use

  • probably whenever this shrine ends. maybe that's tuesday like he said but i'm too lazy to do the math

  • yeah it's usually just the same perks over and over, I know it's 'random' but a lot of perks i've never seen in it

    I usually run :
    Ruin
    Brutal Strength
    Enduring
    NOED

    On him.
Tho you can also use :
    Franklin's demise
    BBQ & Chili
    Nurse's calling

    depending on your playstyle.

tbh I don't understand the appeal to Franklins demise, to me it's more of an annoyance than a hindrance when I play survivor, unless you're playing against SWF that all have flashlights I don't see how it can be that much of a game changer

You truly underestimate survivor's greed and lack of patience then

thats good evidence I'll give you that haha

Wraith is gonna struggle no matter what you choose. Definitely say you need something like Ruin on that Killer.

As far as M&A vs Shadowborn, most will argue M&A is the better choice simply because of the TR manipulation. With Wraith though, your cloak and uncloak always give away your general distance from the Survivors.

Really, Wraith is so low on the list you can pretty much run whatever you want and he's still gonna have a difficult time. Agitation can help, but a replacement for BBQ, on such a weak character? Eh, I wouldn't do it personally but you can make it happen.

The BBQ is mostly for the bloodpoint boost tbh, the aura thing is secondary. I would like Ruin but I'm too lazy to level up the Hag so I've been waiting for it to pop in the shrine. And, just to clarify, you're saying it doesn't really matter between Shadowborn and M&A?

I would say it's more or less personal preference now that they removed the negative effects from Shadowborn. M&A has utility, but Shadownborn has reliability for the entire match. Just see which one works out better for you.

ok thanks for the clarification, since shadowborn is leveled up higher I'll stick to it.

they seem to care more about cosmetics than balancing, so yeah this will probably be their priority.

It baffles me to think that people still don't understand the cosmetic team/art team do not work on gameplay mechanics or balancing at all. So they should just twiddle their thumbs the whole time I'm guessing?

it's still putting time and resources in a different place, especially since everyone's been asking for balance for a lot longer and most of it hasn't come

This doesn't mean they can just leave their artists without a job for 4 months while they work on the balance. That's not how game design works.

I get what you're saying about the artists but that doesn't change the fact that more people are asking for balancing than cosmetics, and we're getting more cosmetics than balancing

  • they seem to care more about cosmetics than balancing, so yeah this will probably be their priority.

  • DS should stun the killer for 10 seconds, but then make him 200% faster and everyone has exposed status the rest of the game. perk fixed

in ds removal Comment by robin
  • Def agree, killers need to actually be intimidating, you should actually be kind of scared when you're in the terror radius. Instead, you just sigh and run in a circle until every gen is done or he gives up, or he hooks you and you get saved right away and escape. Killers should be borderline OP imo, instead of survivors being definitely OP. Way too many pallets, way too many infinite loops, gens finish way too fast, bloodlust is way too slow, etc. It should actually be rewarding to escape a match, instead of an expectation. And to anyone that says "oh, if you're getting looped, just chase a different survivor", well every survivor past rank 15 can pallet loop a killer for long enough to get 2 gens done. You just chase a different survivor to get looped again.
And adding tons of cosmetics instead of fixing these things and making certain perks, that are just plain unusable, actually usable, is a joke.
    just my opinion

  • I definitely support removing like 75% of pallets, there's way too ######### many.

  • So, they weren't going to make a clown because people have a clown phobia?
This is a horror game right? Isn't that the point?
