  • All i'd like is:

TV's turn back on quicker. Current is 100 and 60 for Survivors turning them off, i'd like 60 base and 30 for Survivors turning off

and her fingernail add on basekit.

Thats it. Honestly don't think she needs more than that. Once you start buffing her Condem she'll end up like Pinhead where his box + slowdown perks is too much for solo survivors to handle and you get a free mori out of it so..

  • Yesterday i had a few matches against someone streaming Nurse who was practising her with no add ons or perks, and they were enjoyable matches where i felt like i had counterplay but she could still down me.

Any other nurse since she got reenabled from killswitch has been a chore because they all run 4 slowdowns or Agi Starstruck with Range and/or recharge and nothing else. All they have to do is down the first couple chases fast and they snowball easily with these builds and you struggle to get anything done.

Even gone against someone streaming her with Agi Starstruck and they said my pathing was terrible and i was bad etc, when all i was doing was trying to make as much los blockers as possible while delaying the inevitable. Weird stuff.

  • the only people to blame are content creators tbh. People see your favs upload a video where X Creator ran a killer for 20 minutes as Nea so they attempt to do it too. I don't know of any big survivor content creators who main the newer girls, you're lucky to see anyone past Kate really.

If it ever got nerfed down to "team-wide self-care", it's a game throwing perk. At that point, literally just bring a trusty old medkit and equip a better perk

oh dont worry its been rumbling for years that medkits are too strong so they'll be next on the chopping block

  • as someone that plays mainly m1 killers i sigh when i watch people leg it to main building and i kinda wish they'd swap positions of that upstairs back window and breakable wall

  • their first mistake was giving her a recharge system as a nerf and then basically removing that nerf by giving her recharge time add ons lol

  • sheesh u have nearly 6k posts and all you seem to post about is how bad killer is

  • theres always something unsettling to me about people in pvp games that admit to playing in a negative way and 'enjoy the salt' from their opponents. Not somebody i'd want to run into out and about irl.

Lullaby is even worst than a 32mTR.

At least you can remove/reduce your TR with perks/addons/effects, unlike a lullaby that will always give survivors a hint that you are nearby.

Huntress Wooden Fox add on removes her Lullaby so they could easily do that to his add ons too

  • its honestly pretty useless from how small the effect range is. You'd have to be sat so far up against the window that why would anyone want to vault a window seeing a Spirits husk sat right up next to it anyway?

  • nobody plays her because for some reason people who play this game see a 'nerf' and read it as 'this is now useless'

Current Spirit is absolutely fine and still strong. She deserved the phasing sound changes so Survivors actually had an idea of what the hell she was doing and for some reason you think a Survivor should just get lucky every 15 seconds she can use her power

  • Mothers Mirror, Old Newspaper, Clump of Hair and and Reikos Watch are all my go to's

Well Stone and Cabin Sign are good for Survivors that actually care about turning off TVs

Things like Well Water with Mirror are interesting. Telephone can also be helpful.

Then she just has add ons i don't see the point of like Pinwheel and Mothers Comb

  • i only like the perk in situations where you're the last alive and killer closed hatch, otherwise its too niche. You have to first live all the way to exit gates are powered, then have to be the one to open a gate to get any value out of it which if the last gen pops and you're in chase, isn't going to happen.

Same with perks like Adrenaline, Hope, No one Left Behind etc. I'd rather run things that always work regardless of match progression instead of things i might never get to use if i get camped/tunneled out early

  • Now lets be honest here, and i don't expect you to agree with me but;

If they listened to peoples reactions this game would be in the same state if not worse, but in the reverse. You only have to look at the general consensus on this forum to see that. Killers Powers and Mechanics would be buffed across the board, they'd all still stack their slowdowns, and Survivor would be the miserable role to play where you'd probably be lucky to get 1 or 2 gens done before everyone's dead (cos one popular opinion is gens need to take longer)

Now i've been against plenty of killer players that already win like that, and that's without the buffs the masses still come to this forum to beg for. BHVR have mad some questionable changes but i'm glad they're not making snap decisions based on what people post here because i don't think you guys realize the effects until they'd actually implement it and the game doesn't become the perfect balanced state we all think it needs.

Currently she has nothing going for her; demo teleports better (even Freddy teleports better tbh), Wraith and Ghostface does a better job at stealthing, pyramid head does a better job of Mori'ing survivors; she has no anti-loop or gen pressure.

Basically she is jack of a few trades master of none.

BHVR was too afraid of making an OP killer that they made another killer that is weak af at the bottom rungs; picking her is basically griefing yourself.

    Some good suggestions for changes:

    1. Make her able to see the exact condemned status of survivors so she can strategically teleport and add condemned.
    2. Make her teleport faster or her speed boost after teleport longer; even Wraith's bell speed boost feels better than Onryo's.
    3. Further reduce the condemn needed for a mori to solidify her power; make Condemned a more of a threat than a nuisance, as it stands currently.

Pyramind Head does a better job at mori'ing because he gets to freely tunnel mori someone the moment they step in his goop which is one of the dumbest things about him, and you want to let Sadako see condemed stacks so she can do that too lol

I don't like it but it's hard to blame people.

It's incredibly difficult to spread pressure with Circle of Healing removing it in no time at all.

Ergo, it makes sense that people want to eliminate one Survivor as fast as humanely possible. It was always the best strategy, but it was never the most fun. The only reason people didn't camp and tunnel EVERY match in the past was because there were alternatives that were much more fun for the Killer.

but whats the excuse for people camping when theres no CoH in play :|

  • @Aven_Fallen said:

Just love it that they just dropped another Dev-Notes full of Killer-Buffs and STILL people say that the Devs cater to Survivors.

    Yikes³

going by another post on here, Ghostface was probably underperforming because there seems to be a sizeable amount of Ghostface players that don't even use his power properly and just use it as 'undetectable on command' so are we really surprised the upcoming patch isn't good enough for the average killer player lol

  • trappers other perk makes skill checks smaller when you're in terror radius range, so i assume they were made to work in tandem together, since trapper was the very first killer

  • only people i see use this perk are the ones that run to a pallet, camp it, then run to the next one. repeat till dead.

  • I love Plague, but her power is just generally borked since the switch to dedicated. It can take forever to actually infect a survivor with multiple streams of your power, just because they can do the animation of being hit without actually gaining any stacks of infection.

That plus nobody cleanses, so you have no power to use, and them being perma broken means they don't waste time healing. I hate running slowdowns but you basically have to on Plague to get anything out of the match. Its boring.

  • As Survivor you get 4 gen perk Andys camping and tunneling from first down

As Killer you get Multiple Prove Thyself BNP gamers or 2+ CoH (or both) and 4 Dead Hard for distance

Neither side is fun to play right now imo

  • ugly stuff that dangles off of things, like the handkerchief on Janes red shorts

or stuff stapled to the backs of survivors, like Kates Guitar

  • I've noticed recently i sometimes get a lag moment when i phase, as soon as the activation finishes and i can move i get a weird rubberband effect for a second

  • @GannTM said:

And they also made her finger nails and toe nails a little too long.

i love the nails, one of my favourite things about all the Spirit skins is what they do with her nails

  • condemn isn't meant to kill survivors its meant to slow people down by choosing to turn off tvs to prevent her map control. Idk why people in this community think killer powers like condemn and reverse bear traps should be killing people left and right for barely any effort

I'm having way too much fun playing as this killer to even warrant thinking about buffs for her

  • i assume its because hes pretty easy to get results with

  • i wouldnt worry, his current playrate % and ease of facecamping has probably put him on the cards for changing anyway

Okay, so what you do is you do the gens at the same time, right? So you see... You are not waiting 400 seconds. And it is not as if the killer spawns right in front of a survivor and instant downs them right by a hook. Very weird assumptions as you almost make it sound like you play against face campers despite not knowing how it works.

k so i got the math wrong but its still not possible to do because 3 survivors can only do 3 seperate gens and maybe part of a 4th in the full hook timer

  • @Tsulan said:

So the object not having collision and rendering Blights power useless most of the time is a cheat now?

    Like... really?

bhvr not being able to code a bouncing killer properly isn't a 'tech' either

  • Nope! 400 seconds of pure gen time is longer than full to zero on hook so its highly likely someone else is going down and getting camped before you get to exit gates.

Also to factor in dedicated campers now run Deadlock to delay you even further and a spicy noed on top

  • because its rubbish

you need to be against a hard slugging killer for it to work best, and then it shows the slug the aura of the killer running back towards them when you get them back up. Cool!

  • I don't care that it has the wiggle from drop, just make the numbers lower. 25% is too much, try 15%.

besides the only people i've seen running it when i've played killer so far are people that run straight to a main buildings 2nd floor like Asylum and just sit up there whenever they get into a chase because they know i can't get to a hook with the Aura blocking AND the drop. And then they react in chat like 'lolz its just for fun!!'

If it's nothing then there's no issue with reverting it. A second matters. I have had countless times where an extra second would get me free. It is also abusable due to not actually moving at all like other skill checks, so anyone who doesn't mind cheating a bit (seriously not an issue in this game, right?) can just use a macro to hit every great and just have a permanent lesser wiggle. It also is designed to not be a risk. If you try to hit a great on repair or healing, the great zone is next to the edge so you risk missing the whole thing by going for the great. On this, it's in the middle so there is no risk and no reason to NOT go for it. It is unnecessary, but survivors oddly don't think it needs to be reverted. No, what needs to be dealt with is the only real killer buff in the entire patch lol

If survivors want people to stop calling the devs survivor sided, then they need to stop being survivor sided, because they objectively are. People are complaining about COH and DH, experiments are showing killers need to play scummy to get kills anymore, most killers are entirely unviable etc etc. And to prove to use they are totally unbiased, they give us a patch with a straight up survivor buff (everyone has wiggle so it's a buff to the entire role), nerfs to one of the weakest killers in the game, several other unneeded killer nerfs, and now the only good buff is probably going to be removed due to whining. During a time when killers are quitting and survivor queues are double digits now. If they aren't survivor sided then they are absurdly tone deaf. If killers have tons of issues that need addressing and instead you BUFF SURVIVORS and NERF CLOWN in the patch, expect people to call your devs survivor sided.

that's a whole lot of being upset over 1 second, friend.

not to mention the 1 second might be an unintended oversight that won't even make it into the live build.

  • @SunsetSherbet said:

Meanwhile the wiggle mechanic gets a buff because...why not? But the one actual legit killer buff in the entire patch? CALL THE COPS COTE!

yeah that 1 second faster wiggle if you hit every great skill check is really game breaking

  • have you guys using the 'its bubbas character he doesnt care' response ever thought that perhaps the whole idea of a fictional character wearing skin masks of all races had racist connotations all along that go deeper than Dead by Daylight and it only took us till 2021/2 to finally realize it and speak up about it

  • iirc certain bugs on nurse haven't been fixed because they cant find a reliable way to recreate them to know how to go about fixing them

  • them saying they want to address camping and then in the same sentence saying proxying the hook is fine equals out as a nothing statement to me. It basically says 'we're only addressing a killer stood directly 0.5m from the hook staring at you' which does nothing to address camping at all, like a bubba couldnt stand 10m away from the hook and still down multiple people.

PH Cage moving doesn't do anything either, because the threshhold for it to move needs to again be right in the cage's model to make it move anywhere. The amount of PH i've played against that camp the cage from a distance with their sword in the ground proves it.

Went against my first spirit last week and all i did was stand at a pallet and stun her until she gave up... I don't get where this "takes more skill" argument comes from because the way people play spirit hasn't changed.. They still attempt to predict where i am running and meet me there. The problem is that i know exactly where she is so it doesn't matter. It is actually easier to track her in haunting then if she tries to mindgame out of it.

Even if they fake one side and go around it doesn't matter because i can hear it.

and thats why i run enduring on Spirit now

  • i think its pretty good, i've used it a couple of times and it just makes it easier to get your power without going out of your way to go collect it since it will be forced on you faster. Great for maps like Swamp.

  • @bunnyclava said:

i think the dust thing was a perfect change, you can see it IF you pay attention, but also cant see it behind walls- but there's still slightly more counter play. Now the directional audio just makes it so easy to know where she is at all times without even looking.

idk what you've been seeing but they never added the dust kick up thing only the directional sound lol

  • i still play her and think shes fine, but iron will really poops on her at this point with them knowing your direction and you knowing nothing. Likewise as a Survivor, if you get hit with no iron will, you're dead, if you have it you extend chases.

Unsurprisingly though, the playerbase think 1 change to a killer means unplayable so most spirits you see now run the ring/cherryblossom wall hack stuff because they think thats the only way to make her viable lol

  • he's not easy to play but he's a dumb killer with dumb add ons, none of which got changed with the big add on pass. Fun to see people excuse design oversights as 'techs' though

  • @Pulsar said:

"Don't try to win and you won't see any of those perks."

    How about a Survivor version?

Don't do gens and don't loop and you won't see Ruin, Bamboozle, NOED, PGTW or Deadlock :)

argument doesn't work when you can win without tunneling or slugging anyone but not doing gens doesn't progress the game. Interesting take though!

  • dont tunnel and dont slug and you don't see 3/5 of those circled perks

    next

  • a brown medkit with no add ons lets you heal once. The speed difference using it on someone else is barely anything, and get interupted or miss a skill check and you cant even heal a full state. I'd say they're barely viable alone.

Uncapped speeds of medkits with addons + COH are the issue, medkits alone are not. The main reason to bring a medkit is so you can heal yourself without needing to find another person, idk why people want that nerfed

  • nah delete him instead

  • Just give up on hook like i do. Considering the big add on pass last patch buffed his add ons and didn't nerf any of the stupid ones, they clearly think hes fine, so just move on to the next match

  • @Leachy_Jr said:

I love playing against her, as her, I literally love almost everything about her except one thing:

She's incredibly add on dependent, making her unfun without them.

Her base charge speed for haunting is unfun to play with, I bring at least a common every game to combat it if not 2 add ons. Faster charging encourages actual gameplay instead of holding W, It's a drawback that was meant for old spirit, not new spirit.

Secondly is her recharge rate. Once again, a long recharge was meant for old spirit who had a much stronger chase power. Currently she feels as though - due to slightly slower downs - she lacks in the 1v4 department.

I find it odd that Blight can have a miniscule cooldown and be 115% and spirit has a weaker chase and a weaker 1v1. Both of these changes would help her out and at that point Id argue she'd be literally perfect.

Id just build in a yellow recharge add on, yellow activation add on, then nerf the speed add ons by 2 or 3% and rework MDR to do something else.

    Thoughts?

thats blight needing nerfs not spirit needing buffs
