This last mid chapter patch was a big one, there were a lot of changes made including base changes. We are very well aware that it is going to take time for this to settle down and it's something that we are continually monitoring and if we see the need to make changes to things further down the line - that's something we will do.
However, we're not making knee jerk reactions here - if we do see things that we know are going to be an issue of high importance we will of course make changes in the planned Hotfixes, there might also be further changes made down the line depending on how things play out once players have had time to adjust to a lot of the recent changes.
Dead by Daylight is a Live game, it's continually evolving and changes made based on this. The plan of this update was to increase kill rates as those were lower than we would like. It will take some time to fully see the extent of the changes made, players adapt etc. This update and the after effects of this update is definitely something we are monitoring closely.
So.. what is the kill rate that BHVR would like? We would like more transparency.

She needs a buff but it's not going to happen any time soon...😪
You reckon they'll buff her next year?

They've confirmed there's nothing planned for Sadako in this upcoming Midchapter.
Then they should. They're bleeding players as is.

That would honestly be really welcome. Currently she has nothing going for her; demo teleports better (even Freddy teleports better tbh), Wraith and Ghostface does a better job at stealthing, pyramid head does a better job of Mori'ing survivors; she has no anti-loop or gen pressure.
Basically she is jack of a few trades master of none.
BHVR was too afraid of making an OP killer that they made another killer that is weak af at the bottom rungs; picking her is basically griefing.
-
Once in a blue moon. They really ######### up by making her power take ages, and not letting her see how condemned survivors are so that she can be played more strategically.
Her power does not help in chases at all, when it should help a bit, like Freddy's power does.

Doubt they are gonna touch noed as it's a factor that helps keeps the 2k kill ratio steady.
I don't see it often but it usually gets them 1k while the rest of us leave.
God forbid someone messes with the holy 2k kill ratio aim. Just facecamp one surv, use noed and facecamp the other!

I'm a nurse main and even I'm not complaining about Dead Hard. Just bait it out, the devs have other problems to worry about; MMR and hackers come to mind.
In short, git gud.

They havent brought back blood hunts (2x/1.5x bp events) for over a year now..

clowns. (no offense to our killer)

Could be because of the month long 1.5x bp gain last year something something bp economy idk I miss them
what a clowny phrase! it's not an 'economy' when there is no exchange of goods or services, dummy devs!
I really miss the blood hunts too. Events are just not the same without them.

At this point I'm pretty sure bloodpoint codes and hand outs replaced those
They are not even 1/100 as good as a blood hunt event though, especially when blood hunts stacked with party streamers and cakes.
-
is there going to be double bp or what

You get the odd one asking for buffs, i'm just saying that survivors want to be strong in the 4v1 and the 1v1.
Survivors have an inherent advantage in the 4v1 because they have the numbers. But a lot of them seem to want to be strong in the 1v1 as well and tend not to be a fan of killers who dominate the 1v1
Tunnelling makes 4v1 turn to 3v1 pretty fast, though.
-
Tunnelling is a really big problem, in the sense that it is both toxic and gives the killer an advantage; it makes the game 3v1 instead of 4v1 and makes the remaining survivors much weaker.
-
Totally agreed. It currently is frustrating to play as nurse as you have to keep looking at the power bar to ensure that you don't blink before your second blink is fully charged or you lose the entire charge after just one blink.
Giving her PH's charge system would immensely help and make her enjoyable to play as again. Her rework has been a failure as far as play-ability goes.
-
This would solve one of nurse's most frustrating problems without increasing her power level too much (not that she's too strong right now).
-
Agreed, terribly boring map.
-
It's her power that's frustrating to play against, I think her base movement speed is fine as is if her anti-fun power gets addressed.

They didn't touch her lunge range, but the recharge is just aweful
They did, while removing auto aim. That ended up buffing nurse to obscene levels which made her a target for nerfs. Maybe it was before your time?

The problem that you suck because you can’t outplay her? Sure.
You have to guess just as much the other player does. That takes skill just as much as looping and anyone can make mistakes aswell.
Also, if you can’t hear her footsteps when she’s phasing you’re deaf.
Not when stridor exists. I never hear her footsteps cause the whoooshing sound is loud and distracting.
-
Agreed. Spirit with Stridor makes me want to kill myself.
-
Agreed. She feels so clunky to use. Just take back the lunge range which no nurse main asked for, and give us back our 2 blinks. The (garbage) add-ons rework can stay if we get our base power back.
-
Totally agreed. We shouldn't be forced to use shadowborn or monitor and abuse all the time to get these quality of life benefits.
