I understand you can argue read/write HD problems lead into processor bottleneck, but it's not the problem with DBD.
The model P2P + Framerate locked + bad optmization just overload the processor.
You can play the game in tutorial very very smootly cuz the map is very small and you don't rely on connections. That's another game, completely.
Try to play with Wraith complete skin (Hallowed Blight). Maybe the first game will be ok, at the 5th you will want to throw your PS4 into trash LOL (PS4 pro tested). -

Anyways, I don't know if this is relevant to you at this point, but I stumbled on another possible solution, rebuilding the database. I found an article online that suggested this after I encountered fps issues with the 720p res, and there was no way in hell I was gonna play at 480p. This may have fixed some separate issue on my end, so maybe it won't work for everyone, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
Rebuilding the database is pretty simple too:
- Power off PS4
- With PS4 off, hold power button until a second beep is heard.
- Select rebuild database.
The system warns this could take hours, but when I did it it only took 5-10 minutes. Hope this helps.

I did many databases rebuild. If i'm not wrong, Sony recommends rebuild the database regularly. For me, i always do when i Uninstall a game.
Another procedure is cleaning the PS4, but that requires more work but it worth. -

Every patch is worse on consoles ask everyone. Since clown and pallet 2.0 it's a fps break fiesta.

Lobbies and lag on consoles are #########.
Got a lot of green lobbies with lag inside match (WiFi killer for sure).
I remember once i advised a guy who was a killer to try to play on cable and he replied "I know wifi suck but i wont change".
Take a note and don't play them again ... -

DBD doesn't run on 30 FPS.
If it was locked and all the time 30 fps, ok ... but it does not. Sometimes it fall to 15 ...
Our aim is to keep it constant and playable near 30 a least. -
I can count how many times i lost to SWF.
- Get gud.
- Don't make mistakes ...
- Slug all day vs flashlights or ds users
- Camp if need or it is the right time.
- Tunnel if you are near.
- More important, be calm.

Main killers has to stop crying.
I am 80/20 killer/survivor and i don't see 4 seconds stun be a game break.
People need to stop to put their mistakes into a perk.
Else, learn to drible. -

- Being over autruistic, like you turn back and BOOM, rescue + BT (you will find it LOL)

My thoughts:
- Performance of the game is worse every patch.
- Bugs with pallets never fixed (killer and survivors, sometimes the killer apears on the same side)
- Killers with green / excellent ping in the lobby and when you start the game starts the lag.
- Low player pool (compared to PC is ridiculous).
- New games better and performing better
- Disconnects a lot.
- Potential on raising from PS+ free month. But they kinda threw it, some players just gave up on trying.
- In the past there was a patch for optimization that did nothing !
- Sensitivity should be raised and be simple, but not yet implemented.
- Don't spect that much for consoles, priority is PC ! There comes the gains and consequently the improvements.
- Game is almost 1,5 years old, should be AT LEAST mature.
Used to be a hardcore player everyday (Now im almost 2 weeks without playing, just doing rituals sporadically)
Don't judge me bad, i do LOVE the game, that's the reason im here.
I just accepted the fact it will became obsolete if it continues like this.

I don't understand.
1 - Killers cry about survivors.
2 - Survivors get nerfed (vault, heal, pallets etc)
3 - Killers complain about queue ...Killer main here and YES the gameplay became boring and easy.

Killer queues are bad because of recently survivors nerfs, lot of friends stop playing, its a reallity. (PS4 players)
Vials bug won't get repair.
Console is worse to play like every update.
Almost a week away from the game, just reading foruns, cuz i lost hope.

Yeah, most PC players deserves to play console exclusives, i read it a lot.
At the same time, some call console players plebs, and it does not make sense. At least for me ps4 is my option because i just want to play confortably and i got a laptop (not for game ofc). Also on ps4 almost 60 games, wich for sure could buy a superb high-end PC gamer. -

90 percent of the dumb feedback on this forum comes from console players with less than 100 hours in the game and are probably sitting at rank 15, that probably got the game for free.

Coming from a fellow PS4 player, I can say that the pallette changes combined with the FPS issues are not fun to take part in. The game is just dying period. The only time their numbers will be high on console is when they release new chapters, but that's just my opinion.
Yeah, i have the feeling the game is dying too.

Graphics are worst.
Still no FPS brick.

Thats just a guess, and maybe im wrong, but I guess that BVHR would have earned more money selling skins if they would demand more vials per skin (for ecample 50 for one outfit) and make all outfits available for grinding. A cashgrab needs to be well hidden, otherwise you will just upset players and achieve the opposite of what you actually wanted to achieve

They need money to support us, to keep going, improvements, maybe dedicated servers in future (YES !!!).
It's time for us to show how we love their job/game. For us it's a game, for them it's maybe the project of their lives.
