Darn
Jokes aside, Freddy IS the weakest killer in the game. Even Trapper is better in many situations.
His abysmal state only shows how bad of a rework he got. It only works in extremes. Either way too good or absolutely awful.
At this point, he needs way more than just some number changes. He needs to be rebuild from the ground up.

Same hot take I wrote last time:
Some tiles like killer shack are completely unfair for m1 killers and should be reworked to make counterplay possible.

i want to p100 one of my killers but what do you get after u hit p100? do u get a cosmetic or something and can i still get more addons? bc if i dont then im not gonna p100 him until i run out of all my addons
You get the p100 icon and a lot of happiness that you got this far. (Maybe you will also cry a bit because you realize that you put that much time into dbd)
P100 means that you stay at level 50 bloodweb permanently. That means, you get lvl 50 bloodweb, finish it and get level 50 bloodweb again. This gives you the opportunity to grind higher level addons or offerings more quickly.
Other than that.... No reward as of now.
Yesterday I got flamed for having invested this much BP into a "low tier character".
I responded: "they are not low tier in my heart" 🐽
-
P100 pig.
Why?
Because she's the best killer in the game.
She wasnt my first killer but my second or third at most.
I think the journey for us pig mains is mostly the same. A journey of joy and sadness. Of boops and nerfs. Of headpops, God-ambushes and moon dashes.
I could talk about what improvements I have done over the years of playing her but that's not what this is about.
My road to p100 was actually not that different from before. I haven't learned that much new stuff that I didn't know before the prestige rework. The biggest change I would say are map reworks and what little tricks are possible on these maps.
Due to the overtuned amount of addons I grinded, I can now use almost all of them every match. This made me create my favourite pig build so I guess that's my biggest achievement on the road to p100.
I haven't finished learning though. There's always new stuff on the horizon.
P100 is only the beginning.
Pig mains rise!!!! 🐽
-
He is in a really bad spot.
This is what happens when a rework isn't that good. The nerfs showed the true face of it. Either it's too oppressive or completely useless.
Freddy needs more help than just number changes.
He would definitely deserve the attention though.

Dark theory only uses 1 perk slot AND works even when uninjured for EVERYONE. 2% vs 3% not much different ey.
I've never seen anyone using ds unbreakable.
So you think all pallets should function exactly the same, all killers should be just as easy to master, all perks should contribute nothing to the match.
Sounds like poor repayablity for the sake of fairness in a asymmetrical game.
Do you read what I said?
Your spinning my words.
I said that making everything overtuned is not good. That doesn't mean everything has to be undertuned.
Why only think in extremes?
Also. 4 people can bring dark theory and create 4 boons. Making 4 areas 2% haste zones. Saying that 2% is not that much of a difference to 3% is like saying that 1% is not much of a difference to 2%. Therefore no haste is not that much of a difference to 1%. 3% however does make a big difference. So sorry, haste in general dies make a difference.

Have they said on why they are not interested?
Personally I'm not that familiar with Chucky myself, but I think the killer design is really good. Relatively low skill floor, relatively high skill ceiling, fun to use power and a totally new perspective on playing killer. That's enough for me to be convinced.

Devs must have a good laugh when the see this claim. Especially since there is just as many people who love to cry "The devs are survivor sided"
Im so sick of these kinds of comments.
It's like a child talking bad about their parent because they gave the sibling a bigger cookie.
The developers of dbd are not "insert role" - sided.

So dark theory is unmanageable then?
I'm not defending mft specifically, I'm asking to buff other perks in line with mft. There will always be a meta if there are only 10 good perks for either side.
And the meta shouldn't be so subtle that it's barely noticeable.
I preferred ds and unbreakable days because survivors wouldn't just hide away all match.
Everyone just wants to play optimally and for survivor it's spread out gens and don't interact with killer. With killer is just tunnel weak link.
When did I say that dark theory is unmanagable? Quite the opposite. Dark theory actually supports my argument. A strong effect that can be brought 4 times needs to have heavy restrictions. In case of dark theory that is : boon, only in a range, only 2% and can be snuffed by the killer. That's managable.
"Bring other perks in line with MFT" that's the problematic perspective that many in this forum and many playing the game have. This perk has a very strong effect that was not counterable for killer and made the problem of map design way worse than it had to be. If this is the standart strength you want perks to be at, i don't think I would want to play this game. That's like saying:
I want all killers to he as strong as Blight
I want all tiles to be as strong as a dschungel gym.
Making everything ridiculously overtuned is not the way a game should be balanced.
DS + unbreakable hasn't gone anywhere. It's still there. Against weaker killers and with correct positioning, ds is still a strong perk. Also, I have to say, the mindset of :"I love to be in the killers face and do a bunch of stupid things because they can't do anything about it" is not the most healthy to preserve a wholesome playerbase.
Last but not least, making this game more interactive in general should NOT come down to the strength of perks but to map design, killer design and the overall progression system concerning gen speed and hook stages.

Yes because there would many perks doing that. Not just the same exact one every match.
But isn't that on you?
Nobody forces you to use anything. That's just your mindset.
I use very different perks on survivor and killer. On killer I win a majority of my games. And I use one Gen perk maximum.
On survivor, yes I lose a lot. But that's because I play soloQ and well....
Coordination you know?
The problem with survivor perks is that they can be brought 4 times. One DH? No problem. 4? That's not manageable for lower tier killers at all. (I'm talking about old dh or even post 6.1 dh)
Made for this is similar. One survivor running faster with an undeserved speed boost? That's managable. 4 running faster? No that's not ok.

Nothing is a must.
You can use what you want.
If you want to stay competetive, then yes I would say corrupt is important for a killer that has this slow of an early game.
Deadlock is a bit of an autopilot option. It gives you value regardless of what you do. If that's your playstyle, go for it.
My build is Stbfl, dark devotion, face the darkness and surge.
Works fine so far.

I read all comments and yet i did not see any healthy suggestion. All of suggestions i saw would make people stop play this game. If you have suggestions to nerf SWFs without making people leave game or hurt solo with them, lets hear it.
That's the problem BHVR created by creating swf.
It's super busted if used correctly, but it can't be nerfed without hurting the overall enjoyment of the game.

Maybe Nurse is the strongest killer in the game but she is boring af to play and some ppl don't even touch her since she is so difficult to master so bringing Nurse into this discussion is not a valid point. For reference I haven't played against a Nurse in like 3-4 weeks.
Nurse is not hard to play.
You don't need to "master" her to destroy in public matches.

I actually do think a 4m TR reduction would help Pig immensely. However I also think she needs it.
One of the best ways to make Pig's stealth actually useable is to run Whispers and M&A. So you know 32m out from a gen that there's someone there and 8m wiggle room for your TR to fade before they could hear you.
Being able to do that with only Whispers and freeing up 25% of her perk slots would be pretty amazing.
Or you know the distance...
And save two perk slots...

That Iri though does completely change her play style, as an iri should... what would you do for her new iri?
That add-on is cool, but I don't think that's what her core design should be personally 🤔
Its a cool but bad addon btw....
But i agree, that this should definitely not be a buff that would fit her gameplay.

Pig was above average Killer.
Again...
Shes a secondary objective killer. They always do extremely well because soloq struggles hard against those type of killers.
Also. Do you think a 4m difference in terror radius would have that much of an impact?
-
While is is correct, that ultimate weapon requires less effort to use than other perks, it only rewards the player with info.
This is not even info that can be used in chase due to only screams being shown.
Made for this does something entirely different. It increases chase time. That's way more damaging to the killer player.
Take a perk like surge for example (so glad I don't have to say: "/jolt" anymore).
All the killer does is down a survivor with m1. That's basicly something they already do to begin with. "Seems like made for this isn't that problematic then right?" I hear you saying.
However, I think what needs to mentioned here is that dbd is a asymmetrical 1v4.
The killer has to handle four survivors. Chase time needs to be very short if Survivors are efficient on gens.
Therefore the killer doesn't have the time to do gigantic amounts of work for a perk to do something.
The perks that actually do need a lot of work to do something usually have a strong effect or are downright bad.
Example for strong perk : devour hope
Example for weak perk: grim embrace
And even for these perks you could tell that they build up naturally through the match.
If a Survivor perk however has this much power as made for this has AND is not really counterable by the opposing side. It becomes very problematic.
You basicly have to always look at survivor perks like this: there can be 4 in one lobby.
Therefore they need to have heavy restrictions if the effect is very strong.

There are basically just really unsafe pallets that every killer can just walk around building up bloodlust for easy hits. As pallet throws are mostly screwed you just get hit no matter what you do. there are also basically no tiles to slowdown the killer like a jungle gym or even like LT-walls. Basically no useable windows. unless you run balanced landing youre screwed on this map. it has one of the worst layouts making it hard to navigate properly. It hasnt been the most killersided for nothing before it got deleted. But i guess devs just want to make it still worse for survivors.
And its bad to have a killer sided map in the game?
I think its fine to have a map that is inheretly killer favoured. Same with maps like cowshed, Badham, Erie, Storehouse, Gas haven and the likes that are inheretly survivor favoured.

i think the line is that 4.6 killer have 32 meters TR and 4.4 killer are suppose have 24 meter TR. Amanda is 4.6 killer so her default TR should be 32. the only two outliers in my opinion is deathslinger and wesker.
The other killer that outliers are due to powers. Sadako has 24 tr because of phasing sounds. Myer's has 16 meter because of EV2. Xeno has 32 meter TR but crawler mode reduces it to 24 TR. 4.6 killer with lower TR is power-related.
That makes more sense.
Slinger and Wesker are indeed weird though.

To me MfT is no longer op perk. But it's still good perk.
It will be healthy perk against tunneller killers which is fine. But i see biggest problem here:
What is stopping me to use Off the Record + MfT + Lithe and bodyblock the killer after unhooked. I can force killer to hit me and i can put killer into very annoying chase.
Now i belive MfT is healthy perk when used as intended. But i know community. This perk is new tool to bully killer for SWF teams. So i don't think hate against this perk will be done.
Agree!

We hear you. We've implemented some feedback we hope Pig players will enjoy:
The Pig's crouching speed has been changed to 10s. We hope this will make her look more dramatic as she crouches up and down.
The Pig's ambush charging speed has been increased to 5s. We wanted to make her roar sound intimidating. We also halved the duration of ambush because only a really good player can get value from it.
The Pig now has only one RBT and there are 10 boxes available on the map which are not visible to her. We hope this is more lore accurate to her character.
Scourge Hook: Hangman's Trick now only spawns one Scourge Hook.
Also we buffed her least used addon by making it 5% more potent. We hope this provides more options for Pig players.
See you in the Fog!
Ok...
That's it.
I'm coming for blight now.

wesker being 40 tr is really weird inconsistency. he has no reason to be 40 tr and deathslinger being 32 tr is another weird inconsistency. he doesn't need that either.
Sadako has 24 TR but i think it is because she is like meant to be like myer's-spirit type character where she has inherent stealth advantage. from playing sadako a lot, I feel like sadako should be like 110% m/s character but gain like haste effects in her ghost-form where whenever you become invisible, you gain 15% haste. it would give her the illusion of teleporting ghost killer. She's 4.6 with lower tr because her chase-power is non-existent and it is non-existent because mori-based killer.
That's what I mean. If they want to bring killers in line, the should specify what that line even is.

Wow because those killrates say so much...Basically everyone runs the addons to make the beartraps more deadly, it is really not that hard to get a head pop under that circumstances. Besides that I didn't necessarily want a buff, I would be fine if the bear traps become worse if that means the dash will be more usefull, I don't care if the killer is weak or strong, but I want to be able to use the power, and for Pig that's just not really possible, because as soon as you crouch they just run...
Use medical file and combat straps.
I don't play without both addons for like over a year at this point.
I still have 3000 of them each...
If they go they get hit.

pig has undetectable during crouch. the problem is movement speed in crouch. it is too slow and BVHR has no willingness buff pig because they want keep strength of reverse bear traps as primary source of effective for Pig. pig does not need lower TR. she needs faster movement in crouch. her effective tr is 0 permanently but drawback is too severe to use the advantage.
All I want to point out is the inconsistency with tr among 4.6 killers.
