I mean for Wesker it makes kind of sense and for sadako it does not really matter, since she is not walking around manifested anyway unless maybe in chase? I mean I agree that the argument cannot be made for consistancy anymore but I don't really see much of an issue there... Sadakos terror radius could be global and it would not matter in my opinion.
As for Pig changes yes, there is so much to do there, make her ambush stronger and more usable, that is the main point why I would go back to playing her, because I for sure don't play her for m1 gameplay + beartraps.
What I mean is, that one stealth killer gets the special terror radius treatment but the other isn't. Pig is designed to be a stealth killer. Why is it so important for her to follow that "rule" but not for Sadako?
-
I agree with them. Surge / jolt is one of the best regression perks. Adren is very strong.
Pinhead is bottom A or top b
Wraith is around c tier.
Why do you think otherwise?
-
Surprised?
-
It was a rift outfit and then an amazone prime reward.
Due to these rewards being added slowly to the store (Haddie) I think it will arrive anytime in the future.
Could take a long time though...

It is powerful, but IMO in the same way BT was powerful prior to it being base kit. It lets you know which pallets in your vicinity are still up, something SWF comms can tell you but current survivor basekit cannot. IMO windows cannot be nerfed without significant buffs to survivor basekit or nerfs to killer (probably the former in the form of a weaker windows basekit)
Didn't dbd work before the windows buff as well?
What changed?

I dislike Wesker. He seems off. If you know what I mean.

Understandable.
How dare you abuse a perk.

I main pig.
That's a killer that's also not thaaaat common. I think.
Let's be real, every killer can be "boring" just as every survivor can play "boring".
Anti loop? Boring.
No anti loop? Boring.
Trap killer? Boring.
Zoning killer? Boring.
Strategic killer? Boring.
Stealth killer? Boring.
Looping wood? Boring.
Predropping wood? Boring.
Sitting on gens all game? Boring.
Doing totems? Boring.
All we can do is finding our own fun and not let others dictate how we are supposed to enjoy our matches.
That's what games should be: fun.
It should create a safe space where you can distance yourself from the stress of everyday life.
If you want to play Twins? Do it you absolute legend.
Blight main? Have fun running fast!
Your Nea-shaped hands are glued to flashlights? Enjoy the ride!
Taking this game too seriously is what makes us lose the magic of why we play it in the first place.
Therefore: play whoever you like, however you like.
And if the game is bothering you, don't ruin others fun with unwanted negativity.
Thanks for listening to my Ted talk.
Your local pig main: OUT!

Holy....
I want to meet you.
Are your the prestige 100 Freddy from legends?

By rights, shouldn't that mean survivors should lose in this scenario? Seems off to nerf killers cause survivors are playing badly, wouldn't you say?
Shhhhh....
I still think they are joking.
-
Some of the limitations that killers have (that @Xernoton already mentioned above) are absolutely unnecessary and hinder the flow of gameplay for these killers / hinder them in an unjustified way.
They should be adjusted accordingly.
Some limitations however are well incorporated.
Examples are:
Cages change position in case of PH camping
Singularity takes longer to tag survivors after an unhook
Xenomorph exits a station slower when someone is unhook happened nearby.
After the last Gen is completed, no reverse beartraps will activate themselves (I still think that touching the gate should activate them but well...)
Sadako has to wait a bit to use her power.
Lockers nearby hooked survivors are blocked for the dredge to Teleport to.

I think the only reason Trickster gets this change is because he is so slow at damaging survivors.
Agree.

I just wanted to say: No matter what they do, Freddy will always get delayed till eternity 🤣
Darn
-
Don't know. I hope they will reappear in the shop someday. If not, that's fomo on a high level.
I very much dislike locking cosmetics behind an additional pay wall. Same with the Skins, they added to the chapter releases.
-
This killer absolutely doesn't need a nerf.
Xeno is a killer you delay as a survivor. You will eventually go down against this killer. If they play well, that can be very fast.
Similar killers are Nurse, Spirit and to some extend Blight.
How do you beat those killers? Time management. Make their chases not worth it. Take them to isolated parts of the map. Delay Xene with predropping pallets, smart fakes and of course the turrets. A Xeno can't ignore a turret. Either they deal with it, suffering the cooldown in the process and therefore giving you distance or they run through it and lose their power.
You are not supposed to loop this killer from tile to tile for however long you like.
-
I don't think making ranged killers 4.6 is the right answer.
Especially not Huntress or Slinger.
-
It's not huntress hatchet. It's your/ thalitas hitbox. That and a bit of latency.
-
I play Pig.
I play my 5 rounds of pig almost every day.
I win at least 4 out of these games.
You don't need nurse. You just need to: get good with one particular killer that you really like. If your really confident in your skills, the wins will come. Until then, don't get discouraged.

Maybe the solution to tunnelling shouldn't just be DS existing, maybe they could actually do something about it :3
Ok. Maybe the solution to problem of 3 survivors spawning in 3 seperate gens is not corrupt intervention. Maybe they should do something about it.
See?
Tunneling is a valid although unkind strategy in dbd. Has been since release. It has been harder, it has been easier. But I'm sure it's going to stay.

I literally can't stand Wesker.
I have only payed him once since his Ptb for the adept achievement.

Was the same with dh. Even when hit validation got added to it and the killer experience went down the drain.

At this point, I'm fine with it getting nerfed only for the US VS them - fanatics to have their way.
Won't change my type of play. The perks is bad for my playstyle. I dont use it.

Meaning you need to be in a SWF or have competent teammates with a Killer that has a hatred for snuffing Boons
I said in the right situation, right?
One full reset or 3 very fast heals is more than enough value in my opinion.
-
It deserved the nerf.
We need healthy perks. Not this kind of stuff.
Maybe the game will now finally go into a better direction when it comes to chasing.
No more dh- and MFT-kind of perks pls.

Buffing some of the really terrible Survivor-Perks would be a thing. And also content, because they might be worth using. And I think it would be fair in a Patch where Killers not only get a new character (including 3 Perks), but also receive Buffs for another Killer, have a better time on two Realms AND get a Nerf of a popular Survivor Perk.
But yeah, how can I even think that?
I guess I will come back to you in January when the new Survivor drops in the Midchapter and Killers will get some content as well.
Maybe we can all be happy for a bit and not support more us VS them?
Player cards are for everyone.
Made for this was unhealthy for the game overall.
Garden of joy was extremely unbalanced.
Red forest shrinking was overdue since the graphical rework. They even said, that this was coming.
Nobody asked for Trickster and I still won't play him after the changes.
Heard nothing about a new killer so far.
It's like having g two children and BHVR is the parent. You always need to please both or someone is going to cry. Soumds dumb? That's because it is.

@altruistic said:
I’d take a perk buff somewhere. For the current meta of how games play, 5 second DS would be the most obvious.
Tbh what I really want is a rework of STBFL. Its plot armor is as strong as Blight these days.
Because Stbfl is mostly a healthy perk?

No one is going to run MFT just to counter Legion.
If someone is running MFT on the new patch, they are likely comboing it with another perk that grant endurance.
And that is bad?

You need big maps, medium and small maps. Its that simple. They need to focus on more important things
Why do maps be this large?

@Aven_Fallen said:
I expected them to destroy Made For This instead of making reasonable changes to it. But they exceeded my expectations, the Perk is now completely useless.
I'm thankful that the unhealthy part of this perk got nerfed.
Hopefully we can have a more fair experience as m1 killers now.
-
I'm looking forward to this.
More customisation if welcome to me.
-
I'm on a similar level happy. Both where really unhealthy for the game. Both got the nerf they deserved.
Hopefully we will now have peace.
-
Looks really good so far.
Keep it up, I'm cheering for you.
I think I'm gonna try that on pig.
-
So one perks is very healthy for the game and one is very unhealthy for the game....
That's a hard question actually.
If you had asked the same question except lethal pursuer is changed with ultimate weapon, my answer would be clear: yes!
But lethal pursuer is a really important perk for slower killers to get into matches faster. Soooooo.
No. For the overall health of the game, I personally would not take that deal.
-
Pig can have a maximum of 6 traps. Survivors also have to at least run to a minimum of 12 boxes and search them if all traps are placed. That's significantly more slowdown than Wesker.
Also, Weskers infection CAN be ignored! Pigs cannot. Believe me, I've seen survivors, being infected by the uroboros vial at the beginning of the match, and completely ignore it for a 4man escape in under 5 minutes.
He's good, but not that good.
Also: long live the pig🐽

Oohhhhhhhh I hadn't considered that! The rotini would be fighting constantly with the ziti... and somehow my poor poor Piggy would be nurfed yet again 😕
We protect her from any further nerfs.
I have the pitchforks ready and waiting.
-
It's not too long ago but the period shortly before 6.1 was probably the most horrible time I've had playing dbd.
Things I definitely don't miss: Freddy shortly after his rework, dh with hit validation and macro flashlight 4man bully squads.
The last, I kinda miss though. At least the games had lots of interaction.
-
What was bad then, doesn't make the current problems any better.

Yeah. But isn’t that completely irrelevant to the topic I was talking about (a change -not buff or nerf- is supposed to come soon while I said it’s unreasonable to assume this change will come in 2+ years)
I know that needed changes in general come way too slowly and that there are plenty of balance decisions that are very questionable. I did not try to defend this behavior, I even said it’s appropriate to criticize them for that….
Well, the post itself is a question : will there be a nerf to mft next patch.
Due to how long it took to dethrone dh, just for its ugly sibling to emerge, my answer is: I'm not too optimistic about the near future of this perk.
I'm sorry if that was somehow off topic.

Calm spirit bombs Ultimate weapon, and I've been loving it. But it still blinds me. Such a wonderful package of a perk to be filled to the brim with usefulness!
I dont have a perk that denies being blind. Closest thing I can think of is Vigil to reduce its duration.
That said, I'd be curious to your friend's experiment results. I like using third seal on Trapper and it wrecks. Especially Solo'Q. Which.. I dont feel good about. But I'm Trapper. IDGAF
Calm spirit only counters the tracking part. Yes. I'm fine with a perk having obscure counterplay. Look at corrupt intervention: no mither + plot twist.
So far, he claimed that most survivors have huge problems playing tiles and planning pathing when under the influence of third seal. Not good for the WoO - defenders.

@Hannacia said:

I noticed when i played killer and used UW that people that had WoO were weaker in chase while being blinded since they could not find straight ways to pallets. There were people that had a lot of hours in the game like me and were good in chase without woO and with it since they already knew the maps, but some even with 4000 hours got completely lost while blinded. This is why i think WoO is unhealthy since it lets people play on automode and they wont learn or memorize anything.
Agree.

As already mentioned by someone else and responded by me: I do not remember them saying they will change it ‚soon‘ and then did not deliver.
I am not saying this hasn’t happened, but if so it slipped my mind.
can you provide the source though?
It's more of a general sentiment.
Made for this is very similar to old dh in that it has super unfun counterplay (up to no counterplay at all)and is super easy to use (shift w).
Due to dh being in an unhealthy position for that long, only to be buffed (hit validation, which was a downright insult to the killer role animation wise in my opinion) and the changed after almost 6 years to be almost as strong to finally get nerfed to a more healthy state, many players (me included) have a grim outlook on this perks future.
-
@Hannacia said:
Am i the only one who thinks WoO is unhealthy for the game. People are so crutched on it they can't play without it. Also people tend to run from pallet to pallet on automode and throw every wood down leaving nothing for others.
I just don't think its a healthy perk. Needs cooldown so people learn to think at least a little.
My hypothesis of why people hate ultimate weapon right now is : blindness blocks WoO.
Stealth has long lost its welcome in dbd.
Ultimate weapon negates the most used survivor perk right now. For people that use this perk to automatize the chase, Ultimate Weapon destroys their preferred style of gameplay.
A friend of mine is currently using third seal to test this theory.
