Naughty bear is in dbd!!!
-
I DON'T WANT TO PLAY ONI!!!
... But I want to do that quest in the middle.

I just wanna know, do you all realize that flapping your arms like that speeds up your hook timer and puts you into second state faster?
If you don’t, then you should probably stop to give your teammates more time to save you.
If you do and don’t care then I guess, welcome to second and dying faster in the match. 🤷🏼♀️
Somehow this actually makes sense.
You're on a meathook. You flap with your arms. That's should hurt more than just hanging, shouldn't it?

I want to save you but you cause a delay which is annoying. I was just venting anyway. I'm too damn Altruistic to leave people on hook, regardless of the reason. Just been a bad few weeks.
Hope you'll get better.
Maybe a little naughty bear will brighten you day???
-
I love the idea.
We already have figurines that are, as far as I know, some of the most beloved charms on both sides.
Just imagine a hook, decorated with a small bubba figurine.
Amazing.

LOL this is so true. Oh my gosh this has me dying 😭 I'm going to steal this if that's alright and start saying this from now on haha.
I feel like I do community service when I play naughty bear with 4 undetectable perks just to meme with all 4 survivors.

Thanks.
See ya as Michael on lery's

Its just a game
If people want to go next then let them
your life is not gonna change if your dbd match is "ruined" by someone who killed themselves on hook
it that is the case, I have bad news for you
Ok.
Whats when I want to do that as killer?

Both are busted addons that make a ridiculous base power stronger.

Its you who pays 20 dollar for a skin which is only be seen by survivors in a match. Describe your fun here? ;-)
Here i go:
- Narrator introduction in lobby screen and loading into match
- Unique lobby animations
- unique lobby theme
- unique pick up animation
- unique cooldown animation
- unique vaulting animation
- unique stun sounds
- and last but not least: unique mori animation
thats fun enough for me.
Dont try to ruin others fun. If you dont like it thats on you. You dont have to buy it. You dont have to like it. But dont ruin it for others that might enjoy it a lot.
-
@Ginnypig said:
20 dollar for a skin!!!Let that sink in. If they would spent that much time as they charging skins on fixing the game, things would look really really nice!
Its a skin. If you dont like it, thats ok. Lets us have some fun ok?

Agreed Spiral in my opinion was the worst Saw movie. The villain was so unlikable in my opinion. But at least it got us Pig cosmetics.
Thats the best part about the movie by far.
-
I think it's a good idea to maybe rework the cobe mechanic.
The 4% self unhook helps those the most, that deserve it the least. At least from my experience.
The only problem there is that it's connected to the luck mechanic.
-
I would love to see it go.
But I've learned to keep my hopes low (dh)

I haven't watched Spiral cause I'm afraid of having a nerd aneurism... thank you for confirming my fears are well-founded 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yeahhh....
It's really not good.
You will be happier ignoring it's existence.
You will also miss out on nothing concerning John's storyline. Trust me.

Should definitely not watch Jigsaw... please never promote that film and forget it exists...
I was right in the middle of my new player DBD hype, full Pig fan boy grin on my face. Watched the first 6 Saw films, enjoyed them all, skipped Saw 3D cause that also doesn't exist, and decided to check this film out.
I have never been in the middle of a franchise high during a film as hard as I was watching Jigsaw... honestly you could have almost done anything and I'd have lapped it up... but man...
Every scene that went by kept knocking a chip off my enthusiasm, I was still fanboying hard, watching and enjoying but it kept taking knocks... stupid ######### that made no sense with the core concept of Saw blatantly absent. I kept shrugging it off and letting myself go with the film, but the repeated logical and narrative screw ups were eating at my forgiveness...
Then we got to the silo scene... and the rake... and to quote Popeye "that's all I can stands, and I can't stands no more...". My rose-tinted fanboy glasses didn't just crack, they snapped clean in two, and I went from happy wide-eyed fan, to full angry nerd rant mode in a single instant. I couldn't even finish the film I was that angry... my mate did watch it to completion to see if I was overreacting or missing something, and in so doing he became just as irate as me.
This anecdote is obviously not evidence the film is bad... but honestly outside of my personal opinion, there is so much objectively wrong/contradictory to the point of Saw in it, it's a miracle someone managed to screw it up so badly.... and I doubt anyone wants a 10 page essay explaining why...
But please... never recommend that film again... it brings nothing but pain to Saw fans... 😥
I disliked Spiral more...
But jigsaw also wasn't good...

Please: Do NOT spoiler the movie, he arrives in Germany at November 30th, so I dont know what will happen. The reason for this delay is the absence of the Voice Actor for John Cramer, so they decided to delay the movie to give us the original german voice for him.
A new post on twitter for DBD has risen from the fog:
https://twitter.com/DeadbyDaylight/status/1718991296508068119
All I need is HELLO ZEPP and then, there is only one thing for me to do:
"Hey BHVR, heres my money!"
I'm waiting too...
I don't get why Germany has to wait that long...
I would be hyped for Hoffman. John would not make much sense due to him "despising killing".
The nerf gas house from saw 2 would be super exciting though.

Grass!!!
My arch nemesis.

Nah...
There are such good cosmetics in the store for killers.
Just to name a few:
-Amanda's rebirth
-Rotten remains
-Xenomorph Queen
-William birkin
-Naughty bear (tomorrow)

Way back when It originally took 4 seconds to break a pallet unlike the 2.5 it takes now. Brutal made it 2.5 seconds. So they made brutal strength partially basekit and adjusted the perk. So thats what i was saying more-so.
Ok. I misunderstood. My bad.
-
@supersonic853 said:

Shadowborn:exists lol. Also brutal strength became basekit in the past.
Brutal is basekit now????
Brutal strenght gives a flat 20% faster kicking speed. In 6.1, killers kicking speed got reduced by 10% not 20%. So no, brutal was not made basekit.
Im fine wit shadowborn being an optional addition for killers in terms of accessibility. I cant play with it personally therefore i would heavily dislike it being added to the killers basekit by default. However, i know of a lot of players that cant play without the perk. Therefore it should be added next to the colourblind mode in the settings in my opinion.
I felt like the post talked about gameplay altering basekit buffs, such as the basekit borrowed time and anti facecamp feature. Thats why my take on it is a mechanic with more direct influence.

Stridor isn't really effective unless the player is using a headset,
I use headphones and I can't play with stridor. Im used to normal sounds and stridor just feels worse to play with.
-
No perk should be added to base kit due to it causing more problems than it would solve.
If I had to put down my idea, it's a killer specific early game mechanic so that killers that struggle have a faster start into the match.
Maybe show the auras of survivors with killer instinct to Myers or Freddy in the first 4 seconds if the game.
As I said this should be killer specified so that no Nurse or Blight can profit from it.
This should solve the problem that spawns on some maps just cost lower tier killers a Gen by default and that when the killer spawns in the middle of a map doesn't have to deal with a 50/50 chance of losing a Gen because they chose wrong and walked in the wrong direction.

Boil Over was not OP. It was (and still is) bad gamedesign. But it was not OP because people who brought Boil Over will not really help to win the game.
They just play to be annoying.
I usually got them in a 4man swf.
They send me to a preferable map and basicly took the game hostage.
Best example is the library on rpd. All four up there tbagging. A perk that lets me not hook survivors permanently is a bit overpowered in my opinion.
Agree to disagree i guess.

And we know how horrible BHVR’s map design is so obviously there are multiple abuse spots lol. Doesn’t make the perk itself problematic. It would’ve been fine the way it was if those spots didn’t exist.
But what does it mean to get rid of these spots???
What are these spots to begin with? Normally they are on high elevations or basement-like structures (Badham).
That includes almost every main building in dbd.
So.
You want to change all maps or the one perk that makes them even worse than they are.
In my opinion, the Perk has to go.

Yeah I mean with us not being able to vault properly and killers getting gimp hits, totes babied.
Also killer + high ping is incredibly powerful, but yanno, survivors are the ones they baby, whatever that means.
They released data only they have and the kill rate is higher than the escape rate so please stop 😭
Soooo......
A bug now means that they baby killers?

Saying boil over was OP because of one map terribly designed map location is like saying Starstruck + agitation was OP because of nurse before.

RPD library exist means the perk was op?
I could bring Cold wind hooks spawn bug to prove Boil over useless.
So a bug meant that boil over was ok?
The bug was also extremely broken, don't get me wrong.
Survivors where literally able to hold a game hostage when used in a 4man swf.
If that's not op, I do t know what is....
-
@GannTM said:
Yeah let’s forget how it took 3 months to nerf undying when it was super busted but it took just weeks to nerf MoM. Also let’s pretend like it didn’t take them no time to nerf boil over that wasn’t OP but was just annoying.
Boil over wasnt op???
Just annoying????
Let me introduce the rpd library squad to you.
-
Try it on Freddy...
I did.
It activated on one survivor.
One single time.
-
Nurse power itself is game breaking and feels like cheating.
The addons are just the cherry on top.
I'm fine with them, because I know how the addons where before. You dont want to play against a double range nurse...
Especially not when it gave her extra speed.
I'm not fine with nurse power though.

You asked if I run Thana. I had earlier explained that Thana can counteract Resilience if you are worried about resilience. I'd hoped you would connect the dots and realize I was answering your question about running thana (no I don't run it) while also providing additional context (I do not feel the need to counter the thing I think thana counters)
Thanks for clarifiying. I like to give clear answers here on the forum. A lot of players take some arguments the wrong way REALLY fast.
I refer to my previous post, that i too have no problem with resilience.

I don't care about going against resilience
I didnt ask but ok....
I have no problem with resilience by itself. I have a problem with surivors completely skipping over a part of the game because the killer isnt threatening enough.
Hitting someone more often or not, does more harm then it helps. Nurse and Blight might not care that much. But a Freddy, Pig, Doctor, Legion etc. care a lot.
Id rather go back to more second chances. At least the games where more interactive.

i would consider gen-delay perks as essential, that is the problem. your not suppose to rely on perks. they're suppose to be optional choices where you can run gen defence but you don't need it to be competitive. that is something that they said in 6.1.0 that killer should not be required to run gen defence.
Guess what majority of killer are running? Gen defence.
Just recently we had Furtive Chase buffed to genuinely be usable, and before that I can recall Gearhead becoming a genuinely solid perk, among others.
Furtive chase is still not very good. Sure it went from F-tier perk to like usable c-tier perk but it is obsession perk that gives situational undetectable and situational speed. if they improved old design of the perk then it would be worthy of obsession status. Gearhead is suppose to be like discordance where you get dynamic information to gain information to bounce from one survivor to the next through hit & run. it went from perk that was F-tier to C-tier. it is usable but it is not that good.
Ultimate weapon and Nowhere to hide are solid recent perks. killers still have ways to go when it comes to gaining good stealth perks, instant down perks and strong chase perks. I guess for chase, there is coup the grace which is ok but then there is.... rapid brutality. I am still playing around with rapid but.... I just don't see much value out of it. the healthy survivor just seem to always make it to a loop which makes question what is the point of the perk? The speed boost alone seems to get them to any loop on the map. Until they provide more solid different options for killer, it is unlikely your going to be seeing any killer perk variety beyond gen defence. that is why i said that base-kit gen defence might be needed for killers to even attempt to change their builds along side buffs to different perks.
I tried rapid brutality + Stbfl.
The outcome: it's the next loop, not the third in a row.

My theory is that they wanted to get more people to buy her since most people who didn't main her considered her a C-tier killer. In my opinion she was fine the way she was but given the fact she got her first new skin since release I think more people started playing her but I'm not sure. But it is really annoying that they practically ignored all of her current mains opinions.
And they didn't even give a reason on why all the feedback got ignored.

You can run thana. It's been overnerfed and they should tweak it a bit to make it stronget, but at worst it reduces the effectiveness of resil and at best it more than compensates for it
Do you use thanatophobia?

Yeah this is true as someone who was a Sadoko main and still plays her frequently I did check the feedback section and this is true. I don't main her so it doesn't affect me as much as others but still it is the same with other killers some people lose their favourite killer.
I lost her as well.
I very rarely play her anymore.
I wanted to get back into her with the new cool skin and all...
But then I realized that she isn't fun to play anymore. Why go back.
The feedback section on the Ptb was full of people not happy with the changes. They got pushed live regardless.
That was overwhelmingly negative feedback.

I don't agree that it was overwhelmingly negative. You're looking at this with a confirmation bias.
If you wanna see overwhelmingly negative, look at the PH changes or the Billy engraving nerfs. They were removed near instantly.

Yeah, Breakdown on Midwich is a killer's nightmare T.T
But that's more of a map problem and less of a perk problem.
BTW... Why do hooks still get destroyed after a survivor is killed on them?
It only serves exploiters at this point.

Yeah, but you can't deny she was and still is far, far less popular than Blight is.
I dont deny that.
It was overwhelming negative feedback. I alone wrote 2 VERY long posts about the rework and why it is bad. There where many dedicated players that did the same.
What I want to say is: this showed, that dedication doesn't mean much. If BHVR wants to rework how blight works, they will do that.

@Peanits said:
On Shattered Square: To clarify, this is not a guaranteed number, but the absolute maximum. The short version is the game tries to place pallets a certain distance away from each other. If the minimum number of pallets have been reached and there's no more pallet spawn locations available far enough away from another pallet, it will stop spawning pallets prematurely. Or in other words, once the deadzones are filled, it will stop spawning pallets. You are not guaranteed to have 18 pallets spawn- in fact it would be very unlikely to happen.
For The Skull Merchant, Low Profile mode was causing an issue which allowed her to stay Undetectable indefinitely (the cooldown was shorter than the duration of the Undetectable effect). This new version offers a different way to use her drones, letting you set up a static 'scan wall' of sorts rather than a rotating beam.
Does this apply to all maps?
-
@dbdthegame said:
Blight is one of the most popular killers in the game, and after the backlash from the Billy rework, I doubt they're gonna do much outside of an addon pass.
Sadako also had a dedicated playerbase that fought hard against the rework on the Ptb.
We still got it.
I would not be so certain.

It does do something tho XD On some maps a broken hook for 180sec can be a big deal esp when the may be running Pain res. The perk get even stronger if the survivor brings a hook offering that spreads the hooks out even more. I cant tell you how many time I have to drop a survivor because someone with a breakdown took out the only hook at have in an area.
Midwich...
