no, I think 80% are survivors bc people like playing on teams more than a solo experience. I imagine they’d want to keep the killer player base around 20 % bc that’s how math works, 100% for a match divided by 5 players and only 1 spot for killer is 20%.

ie for every 4 survivors you’d need 1 killer which is 20% for ideal queuing times, otherwise one side is lobbying for a long time.

A majority of people play soloq though.

20% being killer mains is the ideal percentage I imagine for queuing purposes.

Thats why you think that 80% are survivors?

  • Breakdown, Knock out, third seal, break out, deliverance, distortion, forced hesitation and play with your food in my opinion.

  • @sinkra said:

My request to the devs is please stop reworking killers, because "rework" in their eyes clearly means to make a killer ridiculously overpowered and then when more people obviously play it they see it as a success. 80% of your playerbase are survivors, it's time to start thinking about their fun as well. If every game was against SM or Twins the majority of the playerbase would quit.

    Only 20% are killer mains???

    Thats bad…

Still not fair, I gotta waist time looking for the totem just so I can use my perks? Ridiculous

And one survivor can bring one distortion to waste all of the killers aura reading perks on this particular survivor.

Both sides have these kinds of perks.

However, i think ruin and distortion are rather harmless.

  • Pig and Sadako as mains.

Otherwise, I enjoy a round of slinger, singularity, nemesis, demo and spirit to end off the session.

This post having 15 vote ups tells me everything I need to know about these forums. I am not sure when I read such nonesense the last time.

You discrediting anyone that disagrees with you as biased killer mains is also incredibly sad, and just suggests that you can't actually defend any of your arguments.

Survivors quit when 3 people are injured at the start before a gen is done because of the above healing issue, knowing it's useless to continue.

Excuse me what? What Survivor team gives up just because 3 survivors are injured before the first gen is completed? I have had enough matches that started like that where survivors were still able to win, or draw. That is just so beyond ridiculous.

If a survivor does not bring a toolbox, unless the killer is bad you can forget finishing all the gens in time

Again, where the hell do these arguments come from? Of course a survivor team can still complete 5 gens without toolboxes, even if the killer is good. The survivor team just also has to be good.

Loops are 50/50 but with killer speed they start becoming useless fast

This is factually wrong. Some loops are 50/50, but there are also enough loops that are still strong for survivors on most maps.

Killer movement speed is starting to get out of control when using survivor perks like lithe and they are still directly behind you within 3s (I honestly think this is a bug somewhere because killers should lose bloodlust but they don't, I also had a killer traverse 8 different rooms with me on his shoulders with 0 movement perks and without iron grasp (so clearly something is wrong)

Killer movement speed is still the same it has always been, and I never once had a match where the killer seemed to suddenly move too fast. If anything, you went against a hacker.

Maps are ridiculously small or terribly redesigned

Very untrue. Maps just aren't as survivor sided anymore as they used to be. There are some bad exceptions, like the new Haddonfield rework, but in general maps have simply become fairer.

At least a few points are understandable, like tunneling and camping still, after all this time, being such a problem in the game. But in general this post is just a complete mess, like holy crap. You claim that you are just saying the truth, but no, you aren't. You are just stating some incredibly biased opinions.

    Good points!

You have frustrations with other survivors not enjoying the game? Let me easily explain why, killers will hate this post because they know most of it is true but I'll be straight to the point with it.

Survivors have had the following butchered:

    • Gens take longer to do
    • Healing is currently ridiculously too slow so if a killer is fairly close it is virtually impossible to finish one heal if they have even 1 slowdown perk due to how fast killers currently move.
    • Maps are ridiculously small or terribly redesigned
    • Loops are 50/50 but with killer speed they start becoming useless fast
    • survivor perks that would give you some sort of protection like dead hard is now butchered
    • Boil over is useless and should be deleted from the game already
    • Most PC killers still don't even feel the wiggle when carrying someone
    • If you don't have at least one healing perk in moderate+ MMR games you can forget healing most of the time
    • Survivors quit when 3 people are injured at the start before a gen is done because of the above healing issue, knowing it's useless to continue.
    • Still nothing can be done about stopping a killer hard tunnelling without throwing the game unless your team is good
    • Pallets are still 50/50 when they should 60/40 to survivor due to all the killer buffs and outdated pallet drop mechanics (Getting hit when you're in the pallet drop animation and the killer hasn't even finished the animation on their side)
    • If a survivor does not bring a toolbox, unless the killer is bad you can forget finishing all the gens in time
    • Ridiculously large hitboxes for killers still exist (huntress hatchets hitting you around corners for example)
    • Nurse still exists in the game and impossible to beat unless she's awful at the game (killer has a headset which you can't reduce them hearing you at close range like iron will used to
    • Unlimited map distance for range killers with miniscule objects in the way to stop them
    • Still getting stuck on absolutely everything for no reason (Garbage map optimisation)
    • PC players being able to play with filters (Clearly borderline cheating because it gives a lighting/tint advantage but if dev's don't want to address and accept that then so be it)
    • Survivor perks are starting to become borderline useless and will continue to be when they continue to get massacred
    • Killer movement speed is starting to get out of control when using survivor perks like lithe and they are still directly behind you within 3s (I honestly think this is a bug somewhere because killers should lose bloodlust but they don't, I also had a killer traverse 8 different rooms with me on his shoulders with 0 movement perks and without iron grasp (so clearly something is wrong)
    • PTB is on PC so only the PC audience is being taken into consideration when getting feedback (one sided feedback, you do the math)
    • Foliage such as bushes have also been nerfed on some maps so it's just chases unless again, the killer is bad as they were in 1 of my games today
    • Turning animation for survivors needs to be adjusted and sped up slightly.
    • Targeted before the game has even started for being TTV or a high prestige when you're just trying to chill
    • Being forced to save teammates but they don't do the same back
    • Being left on the hook

Of course you'll have the white knights who main killer saying "git good" or "skill issue" after this post because they win 3 games out of 10+ in the games that they play which suddenly makes them a legendary killer who magically knows all about the game and have secretly been watching you play DBD in your bedroom and magically knows your skill level, then get upset about a survivor tapping a button on the controller at the exit gate like it affects them in real life.

I used to get annoyed at people DC'ing but now? How can you blame them? They're not enjoying the match or the game anymore and you're at the sole mercy of the killer, these matches do tend to be funny at parts if you do decide to stay though, and there are nice killers.. I had one where 2 people DC'd and me and a random were still in the game, I let the Wesker practise chasing me probably for around 7 minutes or so while the random did other stuff and it was still fun. The point with this last para? People do have the right to choose and DBD is still a casual game, adding a harsher penalty than one already in place will hurt the player base.

I could go on forever with this post and this list but you get the gist.

Some of these points are good though. I mean, good that it got changed.

Sure, the loop design is prety bad on the newer maps, but perks like boil over can burn forever for all i care.

If all a player enjoys is sitting in one spot to never get hooked, not progressing the game at all, I can also play with a bot. More enjoyable.

Both as survivor and as killer.

I really dont want this to be a wich thing is worse type of discussion or a but they are also mean so I can mean discussion. We should all stand united behind banning every form of bm and to Foster a better online gaming space

    Agree!

We should not stand for this stuff and finally take a stance against it.

We endorsed this for enough time already.

  • They openly depict sexual assault. If this is not a reason to report someone, then I don't know what is.

Well I think we should get to these basekit killer changes first so then we can adjust Blight accordingly to them cause otherwise as I've said, we're risking overnerfing a killer just for the sake of it. Just like I said previously, look no further than Freddy/overheat Billy for such examples.

That's also a route one could go of course. Sadly I don't see the devs taking any drastic measures soon.

I think you meant billy who has unlimited mobility besides a minor cooldown after stopping, instadown threat, and the potential to down you at almost every tile in the game without even using bam anymore.

    Blight can readjust. Billy cannot.

Then they could have just nerfed the time it takes to scamper like before instead of scraping it theres also plenty of killers who get guaranteed m1s but somehow chucky is the only one hated for it. The buffs just allow for more spam dash chucky which people will quickly grow to hate

I never said I wanted the game still the same. My post was to being you and others to the attention that not everyone has the same matches or experiences as y'all and some of us do need help from slowdown perks. Take myself for example, at max I run two slowdown perks because that was comfortable with and how I learned this game. Even with this tho this past year I have had the most inconsistent matches. At the beginning of last year did you know I was able to reach irl 1 consistently and my win rate was around 60%-70%. Then sometime along this past year something changed where I stop getting into irl rank all together and my matches hay felt miserable. Now my win rate dropped around 40% to 50% and I started seeing more one-sided match.

That was my experience with two slowdown. I can only imagine what my experience will be after these nerfs. Now I feeling like I may even have to add a third slowdown. That's a change I don't want to do either since I don't want to play with alot of slowdown but it's going to feel like I'm going to have to if I want to stand a chance for consistent matches.

Either way I think it's unfair to use your experience with the game and assume everyone is having the same experience as you. Your matches are not mine. Also your skill level isn't mine either.

You ignored the rest of my post.

Drastic measures need to be taken to make the game a better place. Not just for more experience players but for all players.

Chucky loses every pallet now except the ones in 'hallway' structures and that's only if the survivor vaults into the hallway instead of out of it.

That's why i think they should increase his turn rate again.

it is not a map problem. it is sadako problem. her power is strictly not balanced correctly.

    Disagree as usual.

The Gideon meat plant is the worst designed map in the game. Unfortunately it works in her favour. Similar is surge. An okayish perk overall. Except on this map. Its super strong on the Gideon meat plant becasue of the maps size.

Sadako is fine right now. A little undertuned but fine. You will not hear anything else from me.

  • @Rajbow2023 said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3715959#Comment_3715959

I mean Billy has all of that as well plus an instant down on top of it and yet you didn't mention him as a rework candidate. Nerfing his add-ons and taking away hug tech already nerfed both his map mobility and anti loop power in order to make him more manageable, so for the current state of the game he's in a fine enough state. Other killers definitely possess a more unhealthy design than him whom I think should be looked at first before looking at Blight again.

Styptic is just an free extra hit if the survivors time right it which can go up to extra 4 hits overall if all survivors bring it. It's literally a DH that last 10x longer, doesn't cause exhaustion nor depends on the hook state and DH is already still a meta perk as it is. Syringe has more counterplay in my opinion but I think it'd be a fair nerf for the passive heal to stop stacking with speed healing add-ons so it'd always be a net 16 seconds passive heal.

Its not about healthy design. Its about strenght. Billy cannot readjust. Blight can. He can do that 5 times. For our current version of the game hes is fine. Your are right there. However, if we want to see any further buffs to killer perks, maps or general killer basekit, blight will become a problem again. Same with nurse.

Do I need to remind you all why awakened awareness was nerfed?

  • @Rajbow2023 said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3715884#Comment_3715884

If anything I'd remove Styptic over Syringe. Also even if I don't like him I think Blight is fine enough as he is now that they've removed all of his busted add-ons and hug tech as of the next patch, more nerfs on top of these would just create another Freddy/overheat Billy situation and I think we should be avoiding that scenario.

He needs a rework. Blight has too much going for him to be fine for the overall development of the game. He has the best map mobility on top of one of the strongest anti loop powers in the game.

This will always make him problematic when killer overall is balanced out. Same with nurse.

Styptic is fine imo, but if you say otherwise, I'm listening to your take. Syringe makes the healing action completely unnecessary and therefore the survivors a LOT more efficient at the simple press of a button. Loadout should not have this much of an impact.

  • @TormentedPunisher said:

Deadlock in it's current state it requires you to be losing the game and only gets a maximum of 4 uses, if you're losing badly. Not only that, it only blocks 1 Gen per use.

If anything, you're punishing players that don't stack PainRes+Pop. It's probably one of the healthiest slowdowns in the game.

Deadlock rewards you no matter what. It will provide full value even if the killer is afk. Thats healthy to you?

    Both, I suppose?

(that was a genuine ask btw, I realise I worded it a bit crass.)

Well, getting a condemned mori is more valuable than any hit so forcing people into TVs is a huge part of her chase. You chase people as close to it as possible. If they go back out of the range into you, you get a free hit. If they go too far into the range, tp to it. With bloody fingernails this can very often even result in a stack of condemned AND a hit.

On Gideon its completely stupid. The map is so small, that TV - ranges actually overlap. This results in extremely fast condemned build up because the entire map is basicly covered by the TV ranges.

I’m gonna need a definition of a ‘good’ sadako in this scenario.

I’ve found that survivors tend to backtrack immediately when they notice you’re trying to force a condemed stack. If you’re actively pushing a survivor into multiple tv’s, you’re gonna waste time you may as well have used to hit ‘em.

It just hasn’t worked out for me, ig.

Yes, that would certainly help. Loops should also be completely redesigned to allow more interaction.

I agree that this map needs a rework.

It's a pallet town and it's very small.

The bathroom is a death room.

    The basement is just... there.

On an unrelated note, I like running perks like Nurses Calling on Nurse on this map, the value is guaranteed.

This all comes down to hwo this map is designed. It's super small, therefore stacked with pallets. Pallets only mind you. There are barely windows on Gideon meat plant.

Most of these pallets are so safe, that they need to be broken by most of the killer roster. This results in extremely one sided gameplay. Either the survivors will win hard because the killer can't get through all the pallets or the survivors loose because the killer can get through the pallets / had a mechanic to ignore it / runs surge.

No matter what the scenario is, the gameay is dull and boring. The map doesn't allow much else.

I'll repeat : it should have been reworked years ago.

Good day fellow Ladies and Gentlemen of murder!

Seeing a lot of doom and gloom through the forums about the reduction in gen regression in 8.0.0... and looking at individual changes some things look harsh... but I would encourage everyone to look at the big picture.

    Killer have been eating well

Killers have had a lot of improvements in recent months. Basekit gen regression got improved, problem perks like MFT got rightfully nerfed, and most importantly we've had numerous buffs to low tier killers.

A significant number of killers have been improved to push them closer to A tier, (also nerfs to S tier characters to bring them down to A) reducing the difference of Killer strength significantly across the whole roster.

All of this has resulted in a significantly improved killrate across the board, we're seeing that 60% killrate on quite a number of killers now, and we've certainly gotten killers to their rightful place as an entity to be feared...

8.0.0 is making it harder to bully

All that said there were still things that were problems, so on top of this killer is getting significant help in securing their own objective. Background Player, Decisive Strike, FTP+Buckle Up, all nerfed. These things can no longer be used to bully killers easily, and this set of changes is a massive boon to killer that we really shouldn't ignore. Saboing is getting improved, but saboing is still risky and hard to pull off, but that is more potential interactions and time off gens. This is a great set of changes, we can't be greedy and expect all this to come our way without trade offs, and ofc our strongest strategy is gonna get hit to allow for these changes.

The fact killers are generally stronger now, much harder to bully, and gen regression is no longer as strong, it brings more thought to instead going on the offensive and consider pushing the killers strengths specifically, rather than relying purely on gen slowdown to win by attrition. Trying to keep survivors off gens and exerting strong map pressure with our improved chase should be the goal...

    Time to try other things...

So with everything killers have gained in recent months, it makes sense to lose some gen regression. People keep talkimg about how they're in a rut, and the game is boring with just having to tunnel every game... I actually see this as a great set of changes to encourage killers to hunt more, and I'd encourage my fellow killers to exoeriment, and consider what you are gaining in this update, not just what you're losing… really consider if you actually need 4 gen slowdowns anymore, or if strengthening your improved chase power even more is more beneficial to you.

    The hero of the people.

    Have this : 👉🐽

Which I might disagree with, tbf, but “going next” seems entirely unreasonable.

Its just this map. Solely this map.

She just goes from ok to busted.

The Gideon meat plant was busted for OG Sadako and is busted for sadako 3.0 as well.

This map should have been reworked years ago.

Yeah, I agree with you. I think that perks should be helpful tools and not dictators of who is going to "win".

Once it feels like your efforts to progress the game are futile against certain perks, it's a problem. This goes for both sides.

Even though the progress is slow, it's evident that BHVR is trying to implement this concept.

I wish to see Killers that are generally considered "weak" to be stronger but I don't think this should be accomplished by perks. This creates an imbalance and dependency and will never fix the core issue.

At this point does the Killer win because of their skill and how they utilized their power or did they win just because they had the X, Y, Z Perks…

In my ideal dbd, slowdown perks can't be stacked. The load out allows for one slowdown and the other 3 slots are open for other stuff.

Nurse receives a rework to her outdated power and Blight receives nerfs to his basekit. Plagues addons receive heavy nerfs.

Toolboxes are put in line to not have something like a commodeus toolbox that is just undeniably better than all the others. BNPs don't exists. A Gen cannot be completed faster than 70s.

Killer has an early game mechanic to be able to build up pressure naturally.

DS becomes basekit to punish tunneling.

Spreading hooks is rewarded with (something).

Maps like Gideon meat plant and garden of joy receive heavy reworks.

    Map offerings get deleted.

No more syringe. Styptic is fine.

Killer sees swf in post game screen.

    @OnryosTapeRentals said:

Turn off the TV and you won't be racking up stacks.

Friends. You are absolutely correct on every other map. But not on Gideon meat plant. Sadako just wins there. The size + stealth + condemned going through floors is busted.

Survivors will have to keep TVs down all the time. This means unlimited slowdown for sadako. Survivors also have to progress gens. If anything falls, the game goes downhill fast.

I have not lost a match on this map with her since she came out.

I had teams that did 3 gens for no hook. They didn't finish another one. Game just ended due to two mori's. No slowdown perks.

The Gideon meat plant is the worst designed map in dbd, that unfortunately makes our girl extremely busted.

I said this in both Ptb feedbacks. It got ignored.

I mean, not really. There’s a pretty hefty tell that TV’s are about to inflict a Condemnation hit. You just have to turn around.

Good sadako will not allow that.

  • Sadako on Gideon meat plant is busted. I have been telling this since she came out.

I have, and I'm not lying here, NOT LOST A GAME WITH HER ON THIS MAP SINCE SHE CAME OUT.

This is not a problem with Sadako but with the map.

TVs are too close together. Condemned goes through floors. Condemning people on this map is extremely easy.

Gideon meat plant is the worst designed map in the game and should be changed.

Should have changed years ago tbh.

  • The game right now is balanced this way: the one that wants to win harder will win.

This mostly comes down to the load out.

On killer: strong killer like blight, Nurse, spirit, Artist, plague or Wesker with 3 slowdowns, aura and very strong addons.

On survivor : swf on comms with map offering, tollboxes and med kits in addition to very strong addons and ds + adren + dh, sb, lithe, balanced + Windows + deliverance.

Who ever doesn't bring it against the other side that brings it WILL loose.

Most matches are decided in the pre game lobby.

The power discrepancy between killers is a valid argument. However, leaving things as they are, making them (seemingly) dependant on certain perks is not good for the game in the long run. Killer strength needs to be more in line, then the base game can improve. Killers should not be balanced around perks and vice versa. Perks should help. Not be necessary.

Both sides can bring "unbeatable" stuff.

No its just sucks scraping a part of a killers kit imagine if they just got rid of Pigs ambush cause it wasn't fun or good back then

    🔥🐽🔥

Jokes aside. Chuckys scamper into m1 was mostly a guaranteed hit. Deleting that is fair in my opinion.

They just need to compensate accordingly. I don't know if the changes made are enough. I'd think they need to increase his turn rate.

  • This was in question?

Of course it gives an adavntage. No need of a Tru3talent video. Common sense is enough.

    surge only hit 8%/gens.

Even if it hit 3gens (24%) it is still weaker than other meta gen perk in that moment.

And most of the time it only hit 1 gen sometime 2.

And because the survivor usually will want to loop the killer away from the working gen so teammate can do the gen ⇒ your surge won't hit the target gen you want.

⇒so when the perk come out every body call it a garbage perk and nobody use it for a really long time.

I used it. And am still using it. Yes. It's worse than pop and pain res. That's good. Not bad. These perks are too much.

What I like about surge is:

    • Works better on all m1 killers than m2 killer (the only really strong killer that benefits is spirit)
    • It works completely passive (I don't have to kick gens)

I would use this perk if it where only 2% regression out of these reasons.

I play the match out normally and this perk gives me valuable regression without me doing much except what im good at.

That's a good perk in my book.

What are your standards for a good perk?

"People are just tooo afraid to go out of their comfort zone"

This is exactly what it is. I purposely change up my builds every now and then so I don't get too dependent on any one perk. I have constantly come across perks where I'm like 'wow, I cant give this one up' But I always do, and it's always fine. I think some people just use the same perk/s for so long and they've convinced themselves of something that's not true. People don't give their game sense enough credit.

    Agree!

I'm not taking myself out of this. I'm addicted to Stbfl on pig for over 2 years now.

I know that I could use other stuff. But I'm refusing to do so.

However, I think it's fine when it's one chase or aura perk (BBQ for a lot of people). It becomes a problem when it's 2-3 slowdown perks that are equipped on every killer, every single game.

As I said to pulser and someone else, these comments come from a place of "well if I can do it you can too." Which isn't true at all. Not everyone is at the same skill level and perform the same. Everyone has strengths and weakness when it comes to gaming. Just because you and pulser can win games with little to no slowdown means I can or someone else can. I don't believe everyone can achieve the same level of skill. There to many factors like physical and mental states, time, and overall mind set. Some of us don't eat, drink and breathe DBD. The avg player will most likely only play few hours and night or week.

Here the bestest issue and I will continue to say this, the MMR system doesn't not allows pair you up with similar skill players. In fact in my case MMR system barely works because 90% of my matches are completely stomps. Very rarely I get a match that feel good and fun.

Ultimately my issue with comments like yours is that they seem to come from a idea that everyone can achieve the same level of skill and play as you and I honestly believe that simply not true.

I don't breathe dbd. I just played it for a long time at this point.

I have reduced the time I put into dbd a lot recently because other games felt more rewarding for the free time I spend to play (which is often limited).

Mmr does often not work properly. However, you also have to take into account, that in dbd, your load out regulates the outcome of a match a lot. People can be at your skill level (whatever that means) and completely stomp you. Not because they where better than you (again, whatever that means) but because they braucht way better stuff than you.

This way, one can be beaten by people that are a lot worse at the game. Dbd is not balanced around "skill". It's balanced around kills and escapes and however these come to be. These kills and escapes often have nothing to do with skill.

If slowdown becomes more in line with other perks and other problems are also looked at (toolboxes, early game for killer, huge power gaps between killers). Then mmr would probably work a lot better because people would not get carried this hard.

What you want is for everything to remain the same because you want to consistently win. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I want that the game is in a better spot, where the outcome is not decided by the preequipped load out and more one the plays that happen in game.

I don't know where the "Surge is a really good perk" come from.

But before the day, the day when killer still have the choice to choose perk.

Surge was a garbage perk that no one want to use.

But after patch after patch, not sure the fourth or fifth patch that nerfing killer's perk.

killer literally have no perk to use that even surge become a meta perk.

I used surge since I bought dbd, which was twins release. I bought it with demo, so surge was literally my first regression perk. Still my favourite.

    What are your standards?

  • Updates like these bring out the worst side of the community. Every. Single. Time.

  • The better nerf in my opinion would have been, that both perks deactivate upon a survivors death. This gives the killer a strong fighting chance when all survivors are active but doesnt make them overbearing when the survivors are placed in a 3v1 scenario.

Both pop and pain res needed nerfs though.

  • @mustdogen said:

remind me the time that even surge could become meta.

    Pathetic.

Surge is a really good perk. What are your standards???

  • @Pulsar said:

They didn't need four gen regression perks, most people just want the easiest possible match.

Nothing will change except more bad Killers will complain after having crutched on gen regression perks.

    Have to agree here.

Nobody NEEDS to run pop and pain res. Im playing without them on Pig and Sadako for months and i perform absolutely fine. Not just these two. Plague, Nemesis, Singularity, Xeno and Legion have also worked out absolutely fine so far.

People are just tooo afraid to go out of their comfort zone.

If slowdown doesnt help you, maybe take aura and chase? Natural slowdown does exist.

The last sentence here, is something very true. We do remember the negative moments more than the positive ones, it seems to be human nature and that's pretty sad, we have a tremendous amount of lovely people in the community and I am sure they far outweigh the bad actors, just that our minds automatically focus on the negative ones.

Unfortunately, the internet allows people to behave in a specific way without repercussions and those that are inclined, take advantage of that fact.

I'd love if we can remove toxicity from gaming in general, they are supposed to be fun after all. Am welcome to hearing all ideas that people have for making this happen or at least improving how things feel.

I think, in dbd, the problem of toxicity gas spread into many corners that are very difficult to tackle.

A few weeks ago, @Xernoton and me discussed the action of "humping" in the game. This is just one example of toxicity that goes unnoticed but can be very harmful.

I don't know what could be done, but a start would be to define what counts as toxic behaviour and what not.

  • It causes a skill check, that can be hit. Then the perk does nothing. The Perk also has a huge cooldown.

It's not horrible. Just inferior to a lot of other slowdown- and regression perks

When Initiated by the loser, nothing wrong with that.

But if it comes from the winner first or only, it simply is thoughtless and one-sided. You wouldn't go to a crushed loser in competitive sports when they are down after a match, as the winner and tell them "better luck next time".

And I'm not talking about close matches but one sided stomps ending at 4+ gens left or with only 1-2 hooks.

I got destroyed by this group yesterday.

    20240508202331_1.jpg

They wrote gg, I wrote gg and all was fine. I had a bad match and they where really stacked. They didnt rub anything in.

I had no problem with them saying gg.

Maybe you take the game too serious if something like this upsets you this hard.

Nothing wrong with staying silent sometimes. I just don’t understand why killers will say “gg” or whatever knowing that the game was miserable for the other side (when teammates DC or give up on hook). As the killer I’ll just say “sorry your teammate(s) left” and move on. I see no reason to throw out a “GG”.

But what if the game was still ok?

What if the game was still fun for them? The survivors continued to play well, the killer played well and despite it being a loss for the survivors it can be a fun game.

Don't get me wrong there are people that say gg to mock others like many sore winners do in this game. I don't like these people, but how should I know their true intentions.

When I get stomped by survivors that bring stuff way stronger than what I have and they say gg in end game, despite me getting one hook. Guess what I say. Gg. And I leave it at that.

I take good sports over bad sports every day. They said gg. They didn't rub it in by saying "gg ez" or "bot killer/survivors".

They ended the game with a gg to leave it at that.
