An extra 40% movement speed in phase absolutely shouldn’t be a thing without a reasonable downside. And no, scratch mark removal isn’t enough.
The 40% extra movement speed is a double-edged sword. It's much more harder to track survivors with that speed. One mininal mistake and the survivor will be far away from the Spirit, reaching a safer place. And it's pain to control Spirit with that speed on indoor maps aswell.
MDR is only an issue when paired with DCB.
-
There's nothing wrong with MDR. It's an ultra rare addon and must be her strongest addon.
-
It's a waste of time, because if they are banned, they'll just create another account and that will go on and on
-
Survivors tend to play waaay immersed against Spirit. Personally, sometimes I feel bored trying to find Claudettes in bushes, so yes the infamous strategy may happen 🤐

I'm basically addicted to discussions nowadays, so I do discuss stuff because I do enjoy it. However, I do keep my nose away from stuff that I do know nothing about.
She may be S in your heart, but that's not good enough; She needs to be feared and loved at the same time! She needs to be as powerful as she was right upon her release, so she can be a match for the top SWF premades, including the famous „Depip squad“, if you ask me.
I understand you perfectly.
In my experience, against top survivors you need to be perfect, phase and down, phase and down, no room for mistakes and that's sometimes not possible when we talk about the new Spirit. Some maps have a lot of busted RNG favoring survivors, to begin with. But I try don't pressure me, I still have a lot to improve with Spirit, even after playing a lot, being honestly. I enjoy this process of improving.
But my take is that unfortunately old Spirit was way stronger, still difficult to master, but way less punishing than current Spirit. Now I think she may be tier S depending on the player not making any mistakes.
Nurse and Blight are much more stronger with less effort, but it's my opinion and I know people would disagree.
-
Love the discussion.
You guys have convinced to change my avatar. Spirit is tier S in my heart.
-
It used to slightly increase the number of rare items before the rework. So if your character was prestige III, the bloodweb had rarer itens. I don't know now, but I think it's not a feature anymore.
-
She does have the lowest kill rate because people tend to lose a lot of matches before getting good with her. She is the most difficult killer to learn. And a lot of people give up in the process. That's why her kill rates are lowest.
-
I'm not playing at all and have no plans returning to dbd. The game died for me due to the insanely long queues for killers. I have no time to wait for a match, honestly. Meanwhile, I've been having a lot of funs with my 150GB modded Skyrim 😅
-
I used to use Calm Spirit when I first started playing dbd, literally. So, today I could not care less, it's a very niche perk.
-
How I miss the old map atmospheres, for God!
-
Prove Thyself, OTR, Lithe, Sprint Burst, COH, Resilience are the most common for me

"I just think it doesn't make sense for Nurse being able to see survivor's auras while blinking"
Why ?
"She doen't need anything that enhances her basekit"
Such a sentence proves that you don't play the nurse, and even less at a high level.
You have no basis for such an opinion, which is therefore completely biased.
"Why?"
Her weakness should be her tracking potential.
"Such a sentence proves that you don't play the nurse, and even less at a high level.

I play Nurse since 2020. I have more than 20.000 blink attacks and I've won even against tournament players. I know exactly what I say.
-
I just think it doesn't make sense for Nurse being able to see survivor's auras while blinking. Her wekness is her tracking potential, as is Spirit (imagine giving to Spirit aura reading while phasing? that's absurd...)
Meanwhile, range and recharge addons are pretty much training wheels for Nurse. She doen't need anything that enhances her basekit.
Besides that, she's completely fine.

Bubba, Blight, Legion
-
I think at the time David and Huntress were release Behaviour was not thinking about characters sexuality (I guess lore wasn't a priority before). But you know, DbD evolved and representation is always welcome. I'm glad the chose an original character.
-
It makes you recover from the broken status faster. From 20 seconds to 14 seconds.
-
I've been using Distortion, Off the Record, Renewal and Vigil.
For me is the best anti-tunneling build. After being unhooked, you became healthy after 14 seconds, and basically there's nothing the killer can do against it.
-
Directional sound is a huge drawback to Spirit. She's not that easy anymore, there's no room for mistakes. Even with Iron Will nerf, survivors are aware of you and can make your life very hard. That's why people still avoid playing Spirit, she's not easy anymore.
-
Honestly, both sets have amazing skins
-
It will take around 5.000 matches to get 150.000.000 bps (considering an average 30k bp match). It's a huge amount of time lol
-
Everyone outside the husk terror radius will hear the phase sound, while the Spirit is phasing.
Survivors inside the husk terror radius will hear it too, but it's a more subtle sound (it's more difficult to discern where the Spirit is).
-
No one knows honestly
-
I have all killers p3 (minus Dredge), some survivors p1, other lvls 40, and I think only 4 survivors are p3. I just got exhausted prestiging the killers, I definitely have no strength to grind anymore.
-
Keep in mind that it may seem useless breaking 1 pallet, but the time saving breaking a lot of pallets is worth using the perk.
-
Weaker on stronger killers (Nurse, Blight, Artist...). But it is still really good (mandatory) for killers like Hag, Trapper, Demogorgon...
-
Nurse needs little tweaks. She is essentially a prediction killer and pretty much a high risk, high reward one. So, I think she should have these changes:
She should not see survivor's scratchmarks and auras while holding a blink, the same way Spirit can't see blood and aura from survivors while phasing.
She doesn't need recharge addons. They make wrong predictions much less punishable.
I'm fine with range addons though.

Yet they complain about "Gen Rushing" when they are getting slammed on Gens because they don't spread the pressure equally. Imagine.
If you "spread" the pressure, the match will end with 8 hooks and 0 kills. Imagine!

Imagine trying to get out of the basement safely in 5 seconds, especially if the killer blocks the stairs and slows you down.
Basement should never be a safe place for survivors. It's your fault for being down there.

Killer: Spirit, Nurse, Demogorgon
Survivor: Félix, Zarina, Cheryl

Every killer has a chance against skilled survivors and SWF. Stop using Ms. Fundamentally Broken as an excuse for being bad with other killers.
"Every killer has a chance"
No, just no.
-
She is difficult to learn.
She has a cool power.
She has a chance against skilled survivors and swf.

To me it looks like it was done last-minute. It was found that the effect on the portraits is the same effect that you can see on the "SALE" tag on the store icon. Also they added an option to disable it so it just shows they don't have confidence in the idea either.
I must confess the option to disable it is so baffling lol
-
Nurse has only 4 good addons, 2 range and 2 recharge. The rest is meme level.
-
Are you guys serious complaining about devs getting a charm? Please...
-
From a casual pov, killers
-
I'd like a Van Helsing chapter
-
Probably in the form of a
bandaid fixperk, in the future -
Thanks God!
I never understood why Behaviour have so much effort with actors voicing survivors, but 1 perk alone erases all that effort.
-
I think it should deactivate if the survivor is competely healed.
-
What? New Dead Hard is stronger against Nurse and Blight
-
Underrated - definitely Demogorgon.
Overrated - I'd go with Hag.
-
Spirit, because she is the best killer ever created. :)
Felix, because he's beautiful.
-
JuSt ApPlY PrEsSuRe, they say.
-
Iron Will was always a problem and people have been complaining since ever about it. I don't get some people saying the perk is fine.
It's always the same annoying combo: Iron Will and Dead Hard
and a flashlight as a bonus. The killer dosn't stand a chance, there's no counterplay, only relying on luck. -
Blight and Nurse take less effort and the player gets much better results. That's it.
To make Spirit on par with Nurse and Blight the player needs to be really cracked and have the best headphones.

I can confirm that it's part of the matchmaking tests, not a bug. As for what else changed today, that will remain a mystery until later on.
Hi Peanits. Just a little feedback. I know the grades don't mean "skill" anymore, but they are a cause of a lot of toxicity between the players. Please, consider the idea of making the grade visible only to the player, like it is right now!
-
I think it is optimization issues. All reworked maps feel more empty, with less trees, less rocks, less grass and other things.
-
It's just the nature of the roles. When the 'weaker one' (survivor) can bully the stronger one (killer). It's a battle of egos at the end. It's funny indeed
-
They are one of the best survivors from South America, they are competitive players and have won several tournaments. So, yes, it won't be easy to deal with them, but you did a pretty good job honestly
