there are some things I don’t like about the upcoming changes but with the ptb and feedback I would assume the devs will change some things before the actual release of the mid chapter update

I didn't know people could do this intentionally
I heard it’s like impossible to do but yea you can do it intentionally in kyf I think
-
@Soulslayer618 I highly doubt that they going to make meg black as a skin, that could be seen as offensive in some eyes. But to give her that outfit would be cool or maybe give the skin to Claudette considering she is a black girl.
I would like to see lore reasons for the trailer like these were past survivors that lost hope and were turned into husks and sent to the void.
-
I had a couple of dreams where I’m a survivor in dbd. Usually when I have a dream about dbd I stop playing for a couple days because it’s a sign that I’m playing too much
-
Nea, first one I p3 level 50 I have almost all perks on her tier 3. Except for one of tapps, janes perks, and ashes
the only reason I don’t have those perks is because I haven’t bought the character yet
-
Just like the above comment, play both because killer can teach you have to play survivor better and vice versa. I learned that way later when I started playing killer after playing a year of survivor and realized how predictable survivors due to me playing survivor so much

Legion is a good killer for looping because he practically just negates it since he can vault over the pallets. The only thing I don’t like is his 110 ms speed, makes him feel sluggish when he’s not in frenzy
Also I don’t like how exploitable his add ons can be, especially with mending time

-
a counter to legion is to mindgame . He’s a very anti looping killer. I would want his add ons to be changed because they can extremely exploited

As a Nurse main, I always get alot of ######### for playing Nurse. Doesnt matter if I play good or bad, Nurse gets the 2nd most disconnects after Legion. Survivors just cant stand it, when they need to actually juke the killer, and cant just mindlessly run around in circles like with every other killer.
Honestly. I hate playing killer and survivors think they did something when they throw the pallet like “oh no I will just get rid of the pallet and waste 2 seconds” when that happens they usually go down in matter of seconds because looping is their only defense
-
I wish they would let killers kinda choose where to place their hex perks. Like the totems all spawn in the same places they usually do but you can pick which totem you want ur hex at
-
most people find face camping and tunneling for no reason to be toxic on killers end and for survivors it’s usually teabagging and flashlight clicking to be toxic.
-
Xbox and sometimes PS4. I don’t plan on getting it on switch
I would get it on switch if I could transfer my Xbox data but that’s never gonna happen.

I heard its a bannable offense to block the basement stairs, dunno for sure though...
I got blocked by a pig once while having a head trap, she just turned around to let the chase drop and simply waited until my head exploded and there was nothing I could have done (other than to report her afterwards for exploit).
It’s not. Not with the pig at least. That’s fair gameplay, to secure a kill. But with plague idk, that could be bodyblocking but since she’s using her ability it might not be. I think it’s bannable if the killer has to be holding the game hostage as in the killer is blocking you into a corner and not letting you leave. But blocking basement when someone’s hooked no it isn’t
-
Sloppy butcher, discordance, unrelenting Or stbfl, bbq&c
survivors have to heal longer, you know where survivors are, and with unrelenting or stbfl (or both) you have a machine gun build once ur in frenzy
-
mindgame is playing the game and knowing how to win a chase and looping is the most basic juke any survivor with a brain cell can do
-
Wraith: bing bong boy
trapper: trappy boy
hillbilly: billy boy
huntress: wife
shape: stabby boi or Michael
leatherface: dear god no I want to dc now but momma didn’t raise no quitter
legion: angsty teen boy
Pig: piggy
I don’t have any for the others
-
i would replace ruin with thrill of the hunt. Ain’t no one touching those totems. Maybe trade remember me with unrelenting. That’s all I got tho
-
Either someone is being toxic or wants attention. When I say wants attention it’s when I’m chasing someone already but they want to be chased because they think they are oh so good since they can loop and throw pallets.
-
Jeff, I like long hair and beards on guys especially if it’s black or dark brown. Either nea or Kate. Nea because she’s the punk girl of my dreams and Kate is just cute
-
I actually was playing survivor but I once went up to the wraith just started following them. We became a rag tag team for the game.
i didn’t lead him to survivors or anything and I didn’t farm the survivors. We were just partying along. But I did end up getting hatch
-
My run of the mill build for nea is self care, Urban evasion, iron will, and balanced landing. Basic set up but I gotten thru many games with it, both solo and swf. I always trade balanced landing for any perk that i want to play.
I suggest that you make a three perk build so you leave room for any perk you want to run
-
@MystiKasT it should work if you unlocked self care as a teachable so just buy it and it should give you 150,000 bp
-
Ormond ski resort. I like how it’s not so dark in comparison to other maps. And also it’s a great map for one of my personal favorite perks, balanced landing
-
@Milo instead of missing attacks from a certain distance the killer has to miss a certain number of hits in order for the perk to activate.
-
Answered the poll. But I only buy perks if I know I’m never leveling the character or buying the character. IE clown, LF, tapp, etc etc
-
i would change still not bitten to if the killer missed 3hits/2hits/1hit then your perk activates so it’s more reliable in chase
-
i like this fan chapter. The perks are cool and seem balanced. I love the idea that killer and survivor know each other.
im confuses with his power tho. Wouldn’t it be smart to just stand still and cause the current to pull the survivor to you or do you move too regardless
-
I feel like it’s a constant it’s should either fade out or just stop but leave the visual cue. It is annoying when survivors want attention because they think they are oh so good but get downed under a minute

I really love Broken keys because the possibilities are endless!
I can drop it on the ground and leave it.
I can open a chest and find one, that I can then leave in that chest.
I can run to a hatch and pretend I'm opening it, allowing me to expand my imagination.
I can wish I had a real key.
I can cry on the forums about how pointless of an item it is.
Truly endless possibilities!
with the right add ons, broken keys can be worth it. It’s good for aura reading Allow you to see the killer and other survivors. Basically bond or dark sense for free.
Dont bash it until you try it
-
survivor; Spine chill, small game, iron will (this one saved my life a couple of times), balanced landing (one of the more used ones but highly underrated as an exhaustion perk)
-
i hardly camp or tunnel if they just flashlight after the animation but in matches I play they usually flashlight then just tea bagged afterwards that’s why I count it as toxic.
-
sounds like a killer they shelved a while back. The smasher whatever his name was called where he could destroy the environment around him with his ability.
It would be a cool add on tho, if a miss hatchet hits a wall or something then the broken pieces can hit a survivor if in range.
-
depends on how merciful I feel like being. If I had a couple of games where I was just being tbagged and having toxic survivors then game over I’m being toxic.
-
Killers power is insanely powerful. I would change it where the shadow can only break pallets or generators to keep map pressure or if a survivor is on a gen where the shadow is going towards they have the power to pull them off and either put them on the ground in dying state or to the nearest hook.
-
MoM is incredibly op. Since it’s an obsession perk only the obsession should be able to have the ability to get a free hit. That’s it. If you run the perk and someone else is obsession then the perk is useless and stays inactive with no ability of being activated for you sorry but that’s way it should be.
-
they probably got the rights to his other outfits from the movies. It’s just the deal they were able to struck when they asked for his characters rights
-
Killer: I usually guard a certain area or thing like basement’s chest, the upstairs to the Thompson house, gens, totems (if I’m not running noed), etc. I only do it if I feel like having a easy match and the survivors aren’t being toxic
survivor: I used the emotes like waving to come here, I don’t point or teabag because I know that’s seen as toxic. Or just follow them and run around. Usually it ends up with me being on the hook tho
-
yall this thread is about story and you guys are making it about bugs and stuff, like obviously the devs know about bugs and what’s wrong with the game. Bugs can be hard to fix and fixing other stuff like reworking entire killers can be tedious and would need a lot of thought before just going in guns blazing ya know
but I’m really happy they are adding more to the actual lore and story of dbd. The lore is so complex and stuff I really love it and plus the recent stuff has only been telling us bout to characters and not really the entity because Benedict isn’t there to say stuff. I hope whatever comes out tells us what happened to him

Yeah whether I play as killer or survivor I see this crap all the time too. It makes me want to give up sometimes but can't let my team down by not trying. Hitboxes are still broken af in this game. If I play killer and I know I hit someone with some crap hitbox and catch them again. So long as I don't need to rush kills and they're not a super good survivor, I'll try to turn my focus on someone else or pretend to walk them by a hook and drop them somewhere where I know someone will pick them up then pretend to or actually go for someone else.
Although I'm a survivor main, I gotta say that us survivors sometimes don't realize when a killer can just easily down us over and over but they are considerate and let us live a tiny bit longer.
I do the same, when I see that I had a bad hit which shouldn’t have counted or I accidentally hit the person that just got off the hook, considering they weren’t being an a** I typically look the other way and go after someone else if they are nearby
-
I think perks are super cool and fairly balanced. Would tentative moves also remove your scratch marks for a set time so the killer doesn’t just end up following yours again? Also that’s really unaltrustic for the other survivors, it could be abused by toxic survivors who wants everyone to have a bad game.
Also I love the little detail you added to the story about Jane. I thought that was really neat considering Jane was kinda a celebrity and so was Kate.
-
I think MoM should be the killer can see your aura at any state within 20 meters and that you are broken for a set time.
tiers would be like: broken for 120s/90s/60s
-
The only problem I have with this character is forbidden knowledge. I think it should work more like every time you break a dull totem it shows the killer within a certain radius but each time you break a totem the radius gets bigger, for example:
1 totem: 10 meters
2 totems 20 meters
Etc etc. make it incentive to break totems. The time limit should be a flat 15 seconds. And each tier is just adding five seconds to the aura reading
-
Nea because I loved all her perks and she reminded me of myself: ugly. But really I just loved her perks and backstory. Plus most of her cosmetics are super cute

Worst case scenario
SV running MoM, Adrenalin, SC, DH and MedKit with Insta heal
gets his 3rd hit and MoM activates
he can heal to full -> gets hit -> uses insta heal -> gets hit -> 5th gen pops and his Adrenaline kicks to full health again -> gets hit -> MoM is active -> uses Dead Hard -> close to exit gets hit again -> escape
Add BT to this and you're in for a treat
eh the only people I can see running that build is either try hard people or toxic people who want to ruin someone’s game. And to me at least you don’t get those people often, especially if they run solo
-
that and also there is bug where you forces out of the match. I had it happen to me a couple of times. I would have green or yellow ping and it would still “lagged” me out.
I heard of other people having this problem too
-
Try hard players are the death of every online game and why I can’t enjoy them fully. Dbd is the only one I enjoy fully, ironically enough tho. I hate that most try hards in this game use fairly alright perks then make them get nerfed beyond oblivion (decisive strike for example, poor example but still an example)
-
Oh jeez. That sounds absolutely chaotic but how would hex perks work? Since obviously there’s more than 5 hex perks.
but you know what would be more chaotic. All perks (minus no mither) and that 2v8 game mode.
-
Pins or key chains for perks or offerings
-
Having a zoo map would be cool because it could add in environmental obstacles like having the animals try to attack you and have to sneaky around them. Getting attacked by one is like the trappers traps you struggle to get out but you have a chance of being injured.
Calm spirit would be a extremely good perk for the map.
