Ahh here we go was waiting for someone to pull the ur an entitled survivor main card without knowing that i literally have 2/3rds of my 3k hours on killer.
It is more than feasable to play fairly and win without ruin and undying. Are you saying that ever killer who won before this perk combo played scummy? That's just nonsense.
Other than ur counter accusation to my accusation, u haven't countered any of my points.
I mean, I could go,
Ah... Another entitled survivor who claims to be killer main, but acts like a entitled survivor.
Playing "fairly" is extremely subjective. In the world of dbd, anything and everything goes. Is the killer OP? Yes! Are 4 survivors w meta perks OP? Of course!
Is the game balanced? No!
Does entitled survivors make up a rulebook for ppl to follow? Yes!
That's the problem, there is no fair, or unfair, u just play how u want to play, and follow ur own rulebook without imposing on others, or guilt shaming killers to alter their style of gameplay.

One suggestion to ALL solo que Survivors. Wait to finish last gen til anybody hooked is saved. Im a killer main and if someone pops the 5th gen, I'm securing the kill because I no longer have an objective and I'm not leaving a sure kill to patrol gates.
So just leave the gen at 95% til everybody is off of hooks.
I rather go 99 the gate than wait for the last gen. If I'm feeling up for a impossible rescue, I'll go do it. Especially if it's someone whose helped me in the game, I'll go die w him, or her.

I don't care if nobody wants to follow my rulebook, since it's my rulebook, that dictates how I play. Last I checked there wasn't another GoodBoyKaru on the forums, though do correct me if I'm wrong here.
No u right, just saying, ggs.

It's strong, it's in the game, I plan to use it. There are some things I refuse to use, like NOED, camping, or tunneling, but RuinDying imo is fine (just not with Tinkerer) so I'm gonna use it. If I stop seeing Prove Thyself every single game I play, I might be more open to negotiation.
But nobody wants to follow ur rulebook. U should just play However u want to play.

I honestly like facing this combo, it ensures the killer won't camp and if they do then not only is half their build useless but you only have to get rid of 3 dull totems to make sure noed doesn't happen either.
Yeah it's strong but it makes killers not play dirty. I'd rather have longer harder to win games where you can interact a lot then shorther games where you have one chase and then die on the first hook.
Seriously ask yourself how often have you been camped when killers ran this combo?
Camping is over rated, I'm the only person anywhere that actually encourages camping. But I can never encourage anybody. Becuz nobody really wants to camp. They just do it becuz they have to or they are triggered.

Ppl don't realise bt and ds can't go ad long as there's still scummy camping tunneling killers out there. Maybe if more of the killer community was more friendly instead of always creating an us vs them situation
Killer Has to be "friendly "? Obviously ur a entitled survivor main.
I use to have that mentality when I was a noob.
Why don't u stop playing survivor and become a killer main, and be "friendly"?
I use to do that. Got worked up about rude killers so I started killer to be "friendly" and went on a quest to show the dbd world how a killer should be played.
After a while, I found out killers are actually friendly. Its the survivors who are NOT friendly. That was the turning point i became a survivor main who defends the real victims in this game, the killers.

It is not just people who dc. I made a post showing that 2 days ago it was indeed a corrupt update on their part that was making me dc, and other people have been complaining about the same thing.
But I play on PS4 Pro, PS4 Slim, PC windows 7, PC windows 8, Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox One X. And I haven't encountered the bug ur talking about.
If it's indeed a bug, the bug itself needs to be addressed, not get rid of DC.
-
@Volfawott said:
I would 100-percent agree with you if the bugs were the reason why people disconnected in the first place however that sadly not the case.
People usually disconnect because they get downed first.
Don't like a specific killer
Don't like specific map
Too many gens completed whilst they were chasing one Survivor
They felt like a hit was cheap
They don't like X perk
Don't like x add-on
Their perk didn't work (hex destroyed,Missed ds, downed before Deliverance activated)
In all fairness, I'm perfectly fine when the killera ragequitting. But I'm not ok when teammates do it. At least die on the hook.

The past few months of solo playing has made me consider playing only swf I feel like I’m doing most of the work and I’m almost always at the top of the leaderboard..it’s also extremely frustrating when my team mates go down within 5-15 seconds or drop pallets almost immediately or sit there and wait I just want a good ranking system
That's weird, I been solo player ever since I started this game. And I don't have any issues. Sometimes teammates are #########, sometimes they're great, sometimes they betray, sometimes they're afk, sometimes they sacrifice themselves for me. It's just a mixed bag.
But I never consistently ended up w potatoes.

@alaenyia said:
DC Penalty is ridiculous, 48 hours is beyond imaginable. No other game tells people they can't play for days on end for any reason. Killers are the reason people DC, rewarding them for being toxic is unacceptable. Suicide on hook is an option for getting out of an unpalatable match for sure, but that does nothing for people who just get kicked out from the server. I was kicked out of my last match, and I am now sitting out a 15 minute penalty for doing absolutely nothing, I have top of the line internet so this BS is not me. Which is why I am on here looking for DC posts. Because I am beyond frustrated being punished for just trying to actually play this game. This is exactly why I have stopped buying DLCs and auricular cells altogether, I am not going to sink any money into a game that I may or may not be able to even play by their whims.
Sounds like a lot of bull to me. I got a few mins ban becuz dbd froze on me 2 seconds into the match.
It is a known bug on the Xbox one x. And devs don't care.
I never went beyond 5 mins or so. The DC penalty was only implemented recently due to enormous amount of ppl DC.

Killers should get a penalty for face camping that's the only time I can understand a Survivor disconnect if a killer face camps the game is basically over
Why does the survivor have to disconnect? As oppose to just suicide?
And u don't want to save time for ur team to do gens? Or a last min save to swap out survivor?

Midwich is good for hex totems. It's really hard for survivors to find them. Some of my best matches was at midwich as killer.

So, apparently I'm entitled even though I strive to not be toxic/that kind of survivor really. Sometimes my frustration might slip but it's not be trying to be toxic. Anyway...
Did a match vs a Billy... cool. I like versing Billys. Cut towards the end of the game, the rando had given up early on and a friend had died. Just me and another left. They get slugged and killer has NO IDEA where I am. So finally they hook the person they slugged and I find hatch. Person who died earlier makes a remark and the killer goes "what" to which I just say "Trying to slug like that when you got no idea where I am. It'd be a different story if you knew where I was." Basically, I just saw it as a waste of time on both sides... I don't want to potentially have to wait for someone to bleed out or for the killer to stop proxying their body so I can heal to have a chance at escape or not.
So killer calls me entitled then proceeds to say "If you don't want your time wasted, come out." wait wait wait. So I'm entitled because I'm not coming out and giving the killer a FREE KILL? I'm the entitled one?? Hello?? Can someone explain??
The story u presented, does not make u entitled. The killer did nothing wrong either. Slugging is totally fine.
But judging by the post u posted, makes u a entitled survivor.
As others have pointed out, u are a entitled survivor if u are complaining that the killer should play a certain way.
Camping, slugging, tunneling, are all part of the game.

Okay look take it from someone whose played This game since it came to console. As you play more you will realise what a lot of people are commenting on here are true. Killers are not op. No where near in fact. Even if it seems like it now for you. They are not. Right now a lot of killers are actually quite weak or broken because of the recent patch and it's not exactly getting better. I'm not saying your a bad survivor. Far from that. But I will see you really should change the title of your post. You're gonna get tons of hate and I don't want that to scare you away from the community.
But you do sound quite new which although isn't a bad thing it means you don't fully understand the killer/survivor dynamic. Seriously watch some YouTube vids on it and you'll see just how weak killers can seem.
But by using the title that you have you sound whiney and like a baby survivor to a lot of people and that's gonna invalidate your argument for most people. So just mind your wording yeah? And try and get the full experience before making such an extreme claim. Hopefully this doesn't sound too condescending. Lol
His title is intentional. It's in all caps, the entire post is a entitlement mentality. The sarcastic 'lol' emoji at the end is a cherry on top.
-
I'm perfectly happy w the free shards and BP. My disgruntled Ness has been fixed. Ty Devs.
-
I just don't use Meg. Her face is hideous. Devs can't make hot girls.
-
Only person complaining here is u. U can use whatever perks u want.
Nobody cares.
-
This happens only on xbox.
-
The biggest problem w banning campers is that, if what u claim is true. That u regularly get camped and tunneled, than u end up banning lots of killers leaving u to wait forever just to play a game.
All those killers switching to survivors will make matchmaking lopsided on top of the situation of already being lopsided.
I'm ok w tunnelling and camping. It's either that, or don't play.
-
Noed doesn't work on me. There's no bones left for noed to activate.
The shock on the killers face at end game.
I love noed, waste of a killers perk. I want noed to stay.

Nah, I feel like is a Killer is against equal skill, they should always end up with 2 Kills. We can agree to disagree on it though.
Now when I play Killer, I play in hopes I get put against potatoes so I could end up meme-ing and farm with them. I have more fun running around the map acting silly, harassing people with my doctor without hitting them just to see how long it takes them to realize I don’t want to hurt them.
But if I realize they’re good players, I will camp and tunnel when I have to. I don’t care if they think it’s “scummy”, it’s not my problem that the gens go by way too fast. I should be able to use fun perks like Agitation and Mad Grit to have a good time rather than bandaid perks to slow down the game.
Survivor mains think it’s ok for them to be as efficient as possible and use every tool that they can, but God forbid a Killer do that! Oh noes! That’s toxic!
I need to find a new hobby, maybe I’ll win the lotto tonight and move away to a nice place with water and learn how to swim and scuba dive!
Lol. All jokes aside, I cannot leave dbd. I really don't play anything else.
If I won the lotto, I'll probably spend $2000 on dbd, buy all cosmetics, and just keep playing.
And yes, those entitled hypocritical survivors are scummy. They should look themselves in the mirror.

Devs required Survivors to escape because Survivors are known to dc from a match at the drop of a hat. If they allowed the Survivors to acquire the cosmetic in their inventory the moment they got it in-game, many would have dc’d just to move on and collect it in their alts. Therefore, it had nothing to do with bias on the Devs part and everything to do with the entitlement that many Survivors have.
Wouldn't the DC penalties block u from keeping any items?

I like playing Killer, but the game is just too unfriendly towards casual Killer players. Getting looped around the same obstacles three times by a Survivor who knows what they’re doing just is rather boring, especially with lower tiered Killers.
Then, when you manage to do well, you get insulted by your opponent. They don’t care you were using non-meta perks, brown add-ons or playing an M1 Killer with no map pressure.
Granted, not all games feel like that, but with how matchmaking works, lots of them do. There is no protection in place for Killers to be matched with similar skilled Survivors. A guy can only take so much.
It is my opinion that the killer will usually lose if he is matched w similar skilled survivors.
The survivors skills needs to be slightly lower than the killer for the killer to have a chance.
Also, I feel ur pain. I use to be a "good" killer when I started off but I got bullied and got all kinds of insult. It's 1 vs 4 not just in game play, but also the psychological and emotional aspect as well.
Now if I'm playing killer, I don't let anyone go. I kill everyone. No giving hatch, nothing.
The only time I let a survivor go is when the survivor is a obvious noob potato who is lost in the sauce w 1 perk. Than I go out of my way to let him go.
Especially the good Loopers who taunts u on purpose., I'll facecamp if I have to but the best jukers deserve death w their 1000 hr experience.
When I get facecamped, I'm totally fine. Kindred and camaderie helps a lot. I have a thick skin. Have to do yoga and maintain steady breathing. Take some anti stress pills.

No, we were constantly chased. It wasn't a dull game where the killer got bored. He had discordance which threw us off. It was very intense. I hope the first 2 dead survivors were spectating. I'm so sad I didn't recorded it.
I couldn't believe we escaped. We had good teamwork between the 2 of us w no comms. But we understood each other by our gameplay alone.

Ppl on dbd get easily offended. I would be a toxic player even though I think I'm not.
However, if voice chat exists so everyone can hear me, I would trash talk stupid ppl and tell them how dumb they are. If I could use racist comments becuz of their accent, I probably would for the lulz.
I'll probably just be banned.
Dbd is a emotional game, and if I can mess w their feelings and get under their skin to win, I probably would.
Also imagine all those player betrayal gameplay.

We did a stream on this recently. I would suggest giving that a look if you haven't already.
As far as capsule based hitboxes go, yes, plenty of games still use them. It's very common in almost any game that doesn't require precise hitboxes (i.e. headshots, body shots, etc.). Having precise hitboxes in DbD would be largely unnecessary and give smaller survivors an advantage over larger survivors.
Ur totally right. But I been hit by the huntress hatchet thru wooden walls before. I was clearly on the other side of the wall and the hatchet went thru the door and Bam, I got hit.
Even the killer told me that shouldn't of been a hit, but who cares...
It happened at the killer shack. While I think most hitboxes should favor killer, too many times the huntress hatchet had extremely broken hitboxes.

Just make it apart of the lore. If 30 minutes pass, then daylight happens and everyone dies. Dead by daylight. U can at most black pip and you keep your points.
But I been in games that's longer than 30 mins where me and another survivor eventually completed the last 2 gens between the 2 of us and both of successfully escaped.
But if game ends than we would of never gotten the opportunity to finish the game. Me, other survivor, and the killer actively participated in normal gameplay. But we hid a lot. It was a epic game.

I just don't really like that mentality, but to each their own I suppose! I don't play killer as much because I feel bad when someone dies on a hook, but I guess in that regard I'm not really fit to play this game. I don't complain if I lose as killer though, I just have fun running around the map and destroying pallets haha! I'm sorry to have sounded entitled, I guess I should accept the fact that not every game is going to be fun. I don't have DS or unbreakable because I don't want to purchase Laurie and I haven't leveled up Bill yet, but I'll take your advice and either drop the game or just get used to matches like that. And I hope I don't sound sarcastic or rude in that statement, I just don't want to be another annoying person that wants things their way all the time. Either way, good luck in future matches!
U feel bad when a survivor dies on the hook but do u also feel bad when the killer gets zero kills?
U feel bad for survivors becuz u are survivor main, but do u also feel bad for killers? When the exit gates are open, and all 4 of u are at the gate, do u ever return to the killer to give him a free kill? Becuz u felt bad for him?

Well, the classic lag switch is an actual offense, so I usually see a fair game as not getting slugged and face camped. Tunneling is obnoxious, especially if you spawned right near them at the beginning of the game and get to hear 3 gens pop before spending the rest of the game unable to do a gen because you're getting chased lol! I guess I mean that people need a chance to do stuff. I play as killer on occasion, and while it's easy to slug players, I always think about how crummy it is when that happens to me-- It isn't fair because they will de-pip and are unable to do their objectives. It also isn't fun to play that way, at least in my opinion. It's hard to phrase this without sounding like an entitled survivor, but I'm sure everyone has experienced matches like that and have just been like 'oh, seriously?' before moving on to the next match haha. And for killers to have a fair game is just as important. SWF's aren't always evil, but we have all been against the flashlight gangs at least once lmao. It's not fun to play as killer when you get pallet stunned and blinded every chase by every survivor for no reason. Sure, you get points, but I don't think it's a strategy at all. It's not protecting you or the other survivors unless one is getting carried, y'know? It's unfair in that aspect, at least imo.
U playing killer on occasion means u haven't really experienced killer.
U are a entitled survivor main who needs a awakening.
U getting face camped, slugged, and tunneled, is what's supposed to be happening in games like this.
U have the perks that can somewhat counter all of these, but u probably don't run it. Becuz u want to run other perks and expect the killer not to camp, not to slug, not to tunnel. This is a entitlement mentality.
I know this is hard to believe, but in PvP games, the goal is make ur opponents life miserable as possible by harassing ur opponent. This is not being unfair, this is not unsportsmanship, it's how PvP games are.
Find out what annoys u when u play survivor, and do exactly that and more when ur playing killer, and vice versa.

Human memory is incredibly fickle and we are prone to biases when it comes to probability. If you want, you can test this in KYF and verify that with a large enough number of trials, there's no difference.
I just want to say that u are absolutely right. I ran a trial run and tried to Kobe every single time, and indeed, it was quite difficult. At some point I lost count, but that 4% seems accurate.
There was no increase in percentage when trying to unhook myself when I'm the last one alive. Out of about 15x, I was able to unhook myself once.
I was really surprised and I stand corrected. Thank u for ur input.
