Again with this: "It was more powerful before, therefore it's fine." If only the same logic was applied to killer stuff.
Except it's not powerful anymore, all it can do is give a 1 man escape. Are you seriously crying over 1 person escaping?
-
Who cares about hatch escapes, are you seriously complaining about hatch now? Do you remember when people used to do 3 man escapes with hatch? That was literal pain. I don't care if someone gets hatch, I've already won. You can't convince me that I lost because someone got hatch. They got a pity escape. If you recognize that, then you won't care if someone gets it or not. If I wanted to, I could just slug for the guaranteed 4k if need be.
-
I'm curious but how would people react if nurse couldn't blink through walls or solid objects? Maybe up her walking speeds if that change would happen.
-
If you're not having fun why not play like the millions of other games that exist

yeah you complained it out of the game already. the question is was it necessary or was it a skill issue? i think i established it was skill
Yeah you're completely right and everyone else is just wrong. They should hire you on the balancing team
Everyone cries about op #########. Old Moris, old hatch, old undying, old decisive strike. Even you're complaining right now.

I highly doubt you have nothing left to improve on on your mind games on loops and your decision making mid game, until youre sure of that you should stop blaming perks for why you lose
I mean I don't have to complain about dead hard for distance anymore, it's gone now lol.

yea bro it was definitely a me problem bro, should've just waited it out xDDDD
Dead hard for distance does not exist, it was a figment of my imagination all along. Thank you for enlightening me.

being better at loops as killer and waiting it out????
lol that's all i needed to hear from you, your post has basically been invalidated from that one statement.
-
Depends on what time of day for me. During the day, it's slow as hell but during the night it's almost instant.
-
I mean isn't every killer complained about not being fun? It just depends on how many people, and I don't think he'll get nurse levels of complaints. But don't be surprised if you see a "Wesker is OP" thread pop up on the front page.
-
@scawyxd said:
so playing the game is hard for the majority of the player base? edit: impossible? because of forced counterplay in a game that already had counter play but killer players were not willing to learn?
what was the counterplay to dead hard
-
At this point all I care about is chasing the killer for a long while. If I do, I'm content with the match, because I know there's nothing more I can do to secure the win, my teammates are holding me back in that game because they decided they wanna have a party in the basement.
-
you literally just answered your own question.
-
@SgtMittens said:
If killers weren't so intimidated by pallets and stopped respecting them, chases would be over faster. Also, even if you don't catch them initially, getting rid of pallets pays dividends later in the match because it creates dead zones.
That really goes for windows too. I swear every killer will run around the window when they see you running for it. I just turn around and run around the opposite side. Repeat. Path of least resistance is old reliable.
Bad idea, you'll just keep eating stuns, and survivors will pick up on the fact that you'll keep not respecting pallets, so they'll start predropping any chance they get instead of greeding, and although you'll get a lot of pallets out of the way, you're going to be wasting way too much time. You have to mix it up with fakes, pallet respects, and not respecting pallets at all.

"Just take a hit and die, just run around the map checking windows instead of doing gens". Wow, what a great advice, what a great way to outplay the Trapper, I'll be sure to use it next time I play against him, it all makes sense now.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3153269#Comment_3153269
Being week against SWF does not mean not being annoying, especially against soloQ. I guess it's pointless to explain to you, since you don't seem to play soloQ frequently and just refuse to understand. And "ad absurdum" is not a "fancy word", it's how that fallacy you used is commonly called.
lol what? I play solo q frequently, I haven't played SWF in over a year, what're you on? If solo q makes trapper annoying, isn't that a problem with your teammates and not the killer? And no, it's not commonly called that, can you actually say that people use "ad absurdum" more than "over exaggeration?"
-
@Junylar said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3151755#Comment_3151755
Yeah, just a handful of killers is "almost every killer", or even "every killer". Nice ad absurdum once again. It's like saying killer mains complained about every survivor perk when they mentioned DS and DH.
You just listed 8 killers, some of them are super weak as hell. Who knows how many more you have. After all, you're complaining about trapper. Trapper of all killers lmao.
Also, did you just learn the term "ad absurdum?" You don't have to use fancy words to try and sound smart, all I did was over exaggerate. But maybe I'm not, considering you find trapper annoying.

Yes, your ad absurdum while completely ignoring the point is very welcome.
you find almost every killer annoying or unfair or "obnoxious"
this game isn't for you if you're gonna complain about every killer.
-
make gens like among us tasks, boom
-
I'm pretty sure it was nerfed because survivors held a single survivor hostage by constantly applying reassurance, but yeah this wasn't the right change.

wesker is on a tier of his own, put him in like SSS+ tier

Some people like the game in general, but hate broken or boring experience "certain killers" provide.
Doctor is obnoxious. So is Legion. So is Trapper. So is Spirit. So is Onryo. So is Dredge. So is Freddy.
Nurses and Blights will drown you in their sweat, not pleasant.
Maybe try fixing the game and making it more fun for all players, not just killers, instead of complaining about survivors not wishing to entertain killers at their own expense?
yes let me pull up the list of "obnoxious killers"
The Trapper
The Hillbilly
The Wraith
The Huntress
The Hag
The Nurse
The Doctor
The Legion
The Pig
The Shape
The Cannibal
The Nightmare
The Clown
The Spirit
The Plague
The Ghost Face
The Demogorgon
The Oni
The Deathslinger
The Executioner
The Blight
The Twins
The Trickster
The Nemesis
The Cenobite
The Artist
The Onryo
The Dredge
and soon The Mastermind!
let me know if I missed any,

not trying to brag but,
Survivor: 20000/10
Killer: 20000/10

Then I'm sure you won't mind going against a 4 man beamer squad with a Meat Plant or Garden of Joy offering with meta perks and comms every single game, then.
Yes, it's part of the game. So were 0 hook moris and instagen BNPs. Doesn't mean they should stay that way.
I mean I used to go against 4-3 dead hards pre nerf every match, are those people suddenly selfish because they were using the most broken exhaustion perk?
-
hey don't disrespect confetti bottles
-
lol ok
-
refund this game and buy a better multiplayer or co op game.
in all seriousness I'd recommend survivor, but it might be frustrating for her. I'd say try both sides, then she can make her opinion on which one is more fun for her.
-
*gets nerfed*
-
we don't need proof, it's been garbage.
Pallets after pallets after pallets. Then you're told to "drop chase". Ok. I chase someone else who does the exact same thing, reaches pallets after pallets. Ok, at least im getting rid of pallets, right? It doesn't matter, gens will be flying by fast, you're not getting any pressure by breaking pallets. Congrats, you've broken 15+ pallets and you've lost the game because of it. The counter? Don't play an m1 killer.
The life of an m1 killer is pain.
-
I mean they could've just made his tentacle his m1, but I guess that'd be annoying if they're going to make skins for him.
-
Since it's 4 people, you'll usually have a higher chance of finding someone toxic.
A theory I have though is that unless they're at the exit gate, there's no way for people who play survivor to express their toxicity in game, since killer is almost always the power role. If a killer wanted to be toxic, they can just tunnel or facecamp you out of spite, as well as hit you on hook. They can relieve their anger in game. Survivors however don't have as much power as a killer does, unless they're a super coordinated SWF of some kind. Thus, the best next option for whenever some of them want to express their anger is to use end game chat, or message you on console or write a nice comment on your profile.
I also find when the killer is BMing someone (hard tunneling and m1ing on hook while nodding their head), and the 4 survivors somehow escape despite the killer facecamping out of spite, the killer is more likely to talk crap in end game chat.
In the end, I think it's just the fact that if people can't express their anger to other players in the game, they'll use the next best thing. Of course, I'm just speculating on personal experience is all.

Just a minor correction.
Kinship activates if another survivors comes within 16m of you on 2nd state.
Kinship is not that bad of a perk, but the one time use limit the requirement of coordination with teammates make it too hard to reliably use. Compared to reassurance where you can use it at the very least 3 times and doesn't require you coordinate with the teammate on hook.
thanks for the correction, you can tell how much I use it due to the fact that I don't even know the activation requirement correctly. But yeah I'm looking forward to reassurance.

You mean one of the best Nurse players went on a streak using some of Nurse's best Perks and Add-Ons in pubs, against Survivors that don't even know how to look behind them? No wonder he thinks she's good
you think she's not good....?
-
@D2night said:
Lmao what makes you think reassurance would become meta especially after it’s huge nerf? It’s not that much better than kinship at all and look at how much kinship is used lmao. Like never lol
Kinship can be used only once on yourself, and only during second stage. Reassurance can be used on both stages, and refreshes after each stage, and can be used on 3 different people. It can also be activated via the survivor, instead of kinship only activating when the killer comes near you after a while.

I don't think it is possible to do changes making both sides fair and untouched.
For camping? Increasing timer, removing grab maybe.
About tunneling, I think devs will eventually revert changes done to sprinting time after getting injured, successful hit cooldown.
10 seconds BT is powerful but it doesn't matter when killer has Save Best or instantly hit unhooked person.
Also SBFTL will get nerf.
hell no don't ever touch my STBFL

It's funny that you say "THERE IS LITERALLY NOTHING U CAN DO ABOUT TUNNELING" and "they can't fix tunneling", cause tunneling should and could be fixed easily.
One way to fix it is by blinding the killer when he hits a survivor that has recently been unhooked.
Give the survivor about a 30 second status effect after he's unhooked that stops when the survivor performs a conspicuous action. This will prevent killers from just waiting out the timer and will give the survivor a lot of time to work with.
That status effect gives the survivor the current BT effect and also blinds the killer in case the killer hits the survivor. In order to stop survivors from trying to tank hits for their teammate with this, make the killer be able to pick up the survivor if he's close to him, sort of like the tombstone range for Myers.
Also in order to prevent killers from abusing this and insta-picking up survivors, the killer is not able to pick up the survivor if he's 3 meters away or more from another survivor.
Voilla, tunneling got fixed.
god im just imagining the body blocking survivors blocking a doorway or gap so I can't walk through to chase the unhooker, and I get blinded after hitting them, losing the two people.
would possibly throw my monitor out the window

people really think the devs care about our tribalism bs the community does

I'd agree if she actually looked like herself. But she doesn't, so I usually just play Lisa. May switch to Rebecca.
I don't mind how cheryl looks right now, but she'd be infinitely better if she looked like herself from sh3
-
Just play nice-ish at the beginning, and if you're getting curb stomped, switch it up a bit and start playing dirty. At least that's how I do it, and I usually get wins this way.

no, I'll just buy wesker.
cheryl forever
