I think Bubbas and basements have just a bad reputation. For example. 2 days ago had to play bubba for a daily. I hooked a survivor in the basement (because it was the closest hook). Then i found another survivor as i left, so another basement hook. Then i went to the other end of the map to chase a Leon (the obsession) and the fourth survivor didn´t even try to save them. Instead he left toxic basement camper messages on my profile.

That's totally understandable, I'm definitely not talking about that type of game, I hate survivors who are scared to get saves, but complain to the killer like it's their fault, what I'm saying is he's not called a camping bubba for no reason, we know especially bubba mains tend to hook a survivor (they don't even bother waiting until they get a hook in the basement either) they hook a survivor and just stand there

  • @Jago said:

Chasing requires efforts. Camping does not.

It's the easiest way to get kills against survivors that dont know how to handle such a situation.

Don't know how to handle the situation lol, like for instance a camping bubba who can just chainsaw and get another down and just camp that survivor, I don't think when they made this game and gave killers different abilities it was just for the killer to stand there and look dumb, I think that's just killers being lazy and killers being terrible at chases, i think that's the new way you guys came up with to play the game, I just don't understand it, if you don't know how to play a game play something else, to make the game that was meant to be fun boring for everybody else isn't fair and the devs make changes they don't want to to to fit your play style just because they want your dollar and you guys still end up playing the same way, laughable

You should probably take your own advice. There isn't anything wrong with camping. Stop acting like you're owed the killer playing the game in a way that YOU deam acceptable

So how was me making a post about camping holding killers to some type of standard, I've noticed you killer mains get real upset when it's brought up, is that because that's the only play style that you guys have that works and chasing survivors is to much work and you're too lazy and y'all suck at it lol

  • Says you huh, what are you a basement bubba main lol

I actually play both sides but more survivor lol just not an entitled one like you hahaha

Take your own advice and get over camping. Get on with it and stop crying lmao

So you called me entitled and then you wrote haha, how old are you I'm guessing 13, so you really think I feel some type of way about your so called insults, now that's a lol, you can just say I'm more upset on how you keep contradicting yourself, you keep telling me to move on about my camping, but you couldn't and can't move on about a post I made, typical killer main way of thinking, I know killer mains when I see them, matter of fact, you probably don't even like playing survivor, you probably suck at it, i can almost guarantee

  • @gilgamer said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/280395/i-just-dont-understand-it

Some kind of are but its not about how powerful the killer is most of the time. Camping is just has a good skill/effectiveness ratio. Meaning it takes very little skill and is fairly effective. Problem being you don't really learn how to actually play against decent teams or players doing that so when you do run into those teams and players you get rolled and then go to the forums to complain about gen speed or how ds needs to be nerfed again.

Lol, yeah and the devs follow their every move, that's why most of the people I've talk to say they don't even care about the game anymore, it's just the only game out there like it and it's fun to play to a degree

  • @BabuDweet said:

Survivors can have a game in the palms of their hands and still have to bully and clicky clicky and use their crutch perks.

Killers have things too. Camping happens to be one of them, only in certain situations I agree with it.

Get over it and move on.

Get over it and move on, says who you, probably an entitled killer main, that admitted camping is ok in certain situations, but didn't express when and I know you're a killer main, from the fact that you expressed being upset about survivors clicking there flashlight, cry me a river, for one I don't run with a flashlight, I'm still fairly new and don't properly know how to use it and two since when did a clicky clicky stop a killers gameplay, but a camping killer stops everyone's gameplay, for one it's boring for two it's taking away any achievement of that survivor at least retrieving bp to level up a character, is at least receiving bp only for killers, nobody wants to wait 2-5 mins for a match to have a killer with speed, power, perks and add-ons to enhance perks, to just camp because a survivor went clicky clicky, you killer mains be the most butt hurt players I've ever played against, so if you don't want to see people complaining, just play the damn game and get over it

    This right here.

If you want reusable resources, ok that's fine. But then killers should just be able to down after 1 hit to balance it out.

Who said anything about reusable resources and killers one shot you regardless, have you've been playing lately

  • @Reinami said:

No, this game is already heavily survivor sided, why make it worse? This is a problem of your team not playing like a team and just wasting pallets.

No, this game is already heavily survivor sided, why make it worse? This is a problem of your team not playing like a team and just wasting pallets.

It's heavily favored in swf games, I don't have friends that like or play this game and playing with randoms in the community is toxic, because they either blame you or just kick you out for no reason

  • @realflashboss said:

Arguing any perk is the counter is not relevant because its down to luck. You would need about 6-8 perk slots to counter everything. Counter play should be something thats not based on the luck of if you picked the correct perk to match the killer.

They can help, but they cant be relied upon. Do you take DS cuz of tunneling or small game cuz of noed, an exhaustion perk, vault speed, spine chill, BT, Unbreakable... this all comes down to luck of what build you choose so its not a consistent counterplay that you can just say 'do it'.

That said wraith with silent bell is hard to counter compared to the bell sound but like people said you can hear his snarls although with his speed boost it isnt much help unless youre lucky enough to be at a strong pallet/loop. It is an iri add on though for that reason.

Yeah I'm not the best Looper and apparently there's not to many survivors that are, I see legacy survivors go down with ease, I think survivors need just a little bit more movement speed, I don't think a simple mind game should catch the killer up to you on a loop and I feel like if you can make a killer miss, you should be able to make some distance from that mistake, not the killer being right back on you

It was upstairs in the lab. I.E a Closet. The gen literally had 3 walls surrounding it, im aware it was on me, just didn't hear him at all was all i was saying.

Probably because the gen was super loud, I think all killers should have a terror radius, they shouldn't have speed, stealth, wallhacks, powers and one shot abilities, teleportation, some can run, some have throwing abilities and death slinger has a gun, all in one game, oh but we have the numbers, oh yeah excuse me, my fault, lol

  • @chargernick85 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2496179#Comment_2496179

This? SC is the biggest middle finger to stealth killers. I will also mention wraith can be heard without the bell (Growling+his bare feet smacking the ground), Mike can be heard breathing from quite a few meters, Ghostface has the whips that makes noise....That all being said no one should be staring at the gen while repairing (head on a swivel) and if you try to repair the 1 man gens that are inside a 1 exit closet/room you know the risk. That's why those area have achievements for finishing those gens.

I don't have a problem with ghost face, he's been a stealth killer and his cape is loud enough to hear, my complaint is a Myers seeing through walls, there's no real skill you can use besides listening to where he's coming from and gens muffle his breathing easily or the fact that most killers can become stealthy with the right perks and add ons, survivors haven't had any changes besides new perks, which the killers get as well. Seeing who we play would be good, just in case there's a player being toxic, like camping hooks, or being able to communicate at certain distances, that might make solo a little better instead of killers constantly getting buffed

  • @Purgatorian said:

It is one of the wraiths best add ons imo and I normally combine it with the no terror radius when uncloaking brown add on, which should be a yellow at least I think.

The problem is that this is an iri add on, which is supposed to be ultra rare, however you come across them in blood webs fairly often. Ultra rare to me means it should only have a 5-10% chance to spawn in a bloodweb but it occurs a lot more often than that.

Yeah that's annoying to go against, but I guess survivors have numbers so, that evens it out lol

  • @Boss said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2496196#Comment_2496196

That's cause the Bloodwebs in the highest character levels guarantee an Ultra Rare spot.

With New Moon Bouquet gone, all Splinter Offerings gone and Common & Ultra Rare Perks gone, you only have the Ebony Memento Mori & his 2 UR Add-ons left.

So you have a 33% chance per Bloodweb to get a Coxcombed Clapper, and 66% to get an UR Add-on.

Ok thanks, they way you've described it makes alot more sense then what some people replied with, thanks for the info

  • @botrax said:

I like the fact that if you open your ear you can hear the wraith getting close to you because of grass or thing like that and never forget you can see him while he is cloak

The wraith doesn't just uncloak in front of you and you can hear grass over a generator, nice try

  • @thrawn3054 said:

If you are using headphones you can hear his snarls. It's not that hard to play around.

Nope no snarls, unless he uncloaked far enough away, which is still an disadvantage

  • @Sabraiz said:

It's too bad he doesn't have a ridiculously loud breathing noise that can be heard from far away, if he did you wouldn't need to rely on the bell sound.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2496118#Comment_2496118

That is on you more than the killer being stealthy, not like he is super tall and obvious or anything like that. Do you just stare into the wall while working on the generator?

Some awareness of your surroundings should be expected.

So the wraith just uncloaks in front of you he doesn't hide first?

  • @Tomplexthis said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/277404/is-this-game-getting-boring-or-toxic

its always been toxic. the survivors are all super obnoxious.

infinite stuns, infinite loops, pretty much never ending pallet boards.

some killer perks are annoying, but there isnt a single "stun" perk. just a ton of exposed ones.

I'll take a stun perk, then a exposed perk any day, exposed being one shot you're done, stun just means you catch up to the survivor with 4.6 second speed, big difference, I've seen killers still get 4k's against stun perks and top players using them, I never see all survivors escape against exposed perks, if any

  • @DouubleYou said:

Honestly, I would rather take this game that another meta game. At least it spices it up a bit.

    Definitely not toxic though.

Yeah I use to have fun with, now it's like the same rinse and repeat, it feels like there's no strategy in it no more, when killers just run op perks and everyone just dies, it feels like camping in cod games to me now

  • @ThiccBudhha said:

    How is that toxic?

But yeah, I guess exposed effects on Wraith are particularly nasty. I can see it not being a fun game. Wraith matches never are for me.

How is that toxic, but then you answered your own question lol

  • @Yords said:

Was expecting this to be about how weak myers is

Infinite tier three Myers is weak, you killer mains want it all

    @glitchboi said:

Sounds like that was the survivor's fault for sandbagging you, even if it was an accident.

I think Myers with infinite tier 3 is weaker than base-kit Myers, simply because it takes 10 years to charge it up even with J. Myers which brings it down to 5 years, and the fact that he always has a 32m radius, giving survivors time to hold W. If you 99 tier 3 without infinite tier 3, you can sneak up on survivors with the lower terror radius from tier 2 so that they have less time to get distance from you. Couple that with Rabbit's Foot and Monitor & Abuse, and he's a lot more threatening than infinite tier 3.

Wow so he gets worse, guess I should stop complaining then, I never won against a infinite Myers though so, he's not to weak lol

Oh yeah, that is such a terrible experience, been there done that. Just write their names on a list and you know what to do from there.

Lol, right I decided to do that at one point in time, but then I figured I'll be writing down so many names because they're so many toxic players, I think survivors should be allowed to see the names of the players playing as killer and let us decide if we want to go against that player, especially if they're toxic, I don't get why we're forced to do certain things in this game, that makes it boring

  • @NoOneKnowsNova said:

Are you seriously complaining about a meme build that forces the killer to move slightly faster than you the whole match...?

I don't have the right to complain are you the dbd police

  • @Firellius said:

This is why I hate some of the suggestions for the Pig, most people seem to be focused on her traps. But those traps are too RNG reliant to be healthy for the game, so I'd much rather they focused on her dash.

I can escape her dash what i can't escape is a trap that requires you to use all five boxes, I've had all gameplays but one where I would go through 4 traps and still die, your first trap shouldn't require all five boxes, I think it should be first trap one, second trap 3 and 3 trap four or five, to me that's reasonable

  • @EntitySpawn said:

You clearly haven't versed my pig, if you did your be asking why you get it off the very first box lol.

Being serious though I'd prefer a key system, each box gives a key. Need 2 keys to remove the trap, then addons that increase boxes can add another key required. This way it's never first box, or your very last.

Makes it more consistent and removes too much rng because rng sucks

Yeah something needs to change I've played pig around 5 times this week I only escaped my trap one time the other times it required four traps and I still didn't get my trap off before I either got chased or my trap went off

  • @Customapple0 said:

Without addons I don’t think it’s possible to die to a RBT unless the killer is actively chasing you off puzzle boxes.

However with tampered timer and crate of gears deaths to RBT are a bit more common, but it’s still up to RNG.

Yeah I wasn't being chased, the timer seemed extremely fast to, I died on my first trap

  • @ShinobuSK said:

Timer stops if you get into chase. And what you saying is very rare, usually all traps are off after searching 1 or 2 boxes. Its RNG

Yeah I couldn't believe it, it seems like she's been buffed because most dbd videos I've seen it takes about four or five tries

  • Yeah I think that's a huge advantage for the pig, she stops any gen progression, you have to be healed and you might not even get your trap off and she's a stealthy killer, #########

  • @celesteismore said:

I had a legion only wanting to kill me. When I died they literally left the other survivors go.

    WOWWWWWW, that's messed up

  • Yeah I feel you

  • @Soulpaw said:

so you know how for killers, they want to get a person out of the game as soon as possible due to the game being much easier to manage when theres 3 survivors? he's probably tunneling because he sees you as a high skill survivor and whats better than getting the strongest out of the game if able? thats probably why, plus they are probably salty cause they are bad.

be flattered i guess that they think your THAT good.

Lollollollol yeah you're right, I never thought of it that way, but it was three gens left, two injured survivors, so I thought the game was over it was just a matter of time, so I don't know what this legion was mad about

  • @[Deleted User] said:

The game has always been personal. It's an online game, you play with other people. What matters is if you take the game personally or not, which generally you shouldn't because it's stupid getting upset at people that don't even know you.

Right, I just never understood why do survivors get punished for doing good at the game I mean what else do they suppose to do just sit there and get hooked

  • @Jacoby2041 said:

I never let them hook me if I can help it because I always have that nagging feeling that they aren't gonna let me go. A lot of the time when the gates are open and people are farming I just leave because I'm afraid the killer is gonna turn at any moment

Lol, right it's hard not to farm it's usually two gens left and if you do one the survivors and the killer will hunt you down

The one farm game I was in I was gen rushing just in case, for an easy escape, you know? And I got trapped! He came over to me and... Freed me. That was my first and only time farming as a survivor. As a killer, I let two survivors farm because we had 2 early disconnects and cakes were involved. They CLEARLY didn't trust me in the beginning. But once we got a lot of pallet stuns and I wasn't taking unnecessary swings at them while they were healing or waking up, they trusted me enough to give the double hook.

AND THE I SLUGGED THEM BOTH AND WAITED OUT THEIR TIMERS. Nah, they gave me items and left with mere flesh wounds.

Right, I've had killers want to farm so much I know the routine, you participate or you're going to die, you let the killer hook you twice, you follow and do what the killer wants immediately or you might get slugged and left where you lay or he might hook you and get you out of the game. You get as many points on both sides and you leave end of story, I don't know what that guy was on

Bloodpoints are bloodpoints, but if you want kills, play the damn game.

(Though survivors that want to farm and then scuttle off without giving the killer any hooks are also pretty bad. Farming's an agreement and I expect all parties to hold up to their side of the bargain.)

Right, that's why I had to send that killer a message, I felt so betrayed, like bruh we could've kept smoking you and left you in the dust and you betrayed our kindness towards you and he had the nerve to have I'm a friendly guy on his profile

This pretty much. That being said, in a situation like this I don't trust killers. I actually had something like this come close to happening with my friends vs a Pig. We were afraid she was going to kill all of us after hooking us all twice but thankfully she didn't lol (I trust in Pigs 😤, honestly any Pig who goes back on a snoot boop code must be banished). It was a great farm in the end for all parties but yeah that being said I do NOT trust all killers to be nice like that until the end.

Idk, my own personal irl spine chill goes off when I know a killer has blood warden and plans to be extra extra evil and it always turns out right and I'm always the only person to escape lol

It's different when I'm playing killer and I'm in control but not everyone is nice and that's not even to say that they need to be nice but my god, faking being nice and signaling you want to farm after being trounced only to kill all the survivors after they've let their guard down is the ultimate scum tactic. If you're going to camp, tunnel and slug at least do it with honor.

FACTSSS, and this guy actually debated me when I called him out as if we were wrong, he actually said I should've thanked him for the farm, I said I would've easily made way more points if we continued to dust you, you should be thanking us because the game was over, then this guy started flirting with me, I'm almost thinking that dbd has become a wreck from it's glory days, wish I would've had a chance too play it at it's glory, dbd has fallen down the rabbit hole and they don't know how to get out

  • @A_Skinny_Legend said:

The only people that are going to champion this particular subset of behavior are the players who hate farming and wish it was bannable, because it makes survivors less willing to farm.

You'll find plenty of killers that are proud of camping, tunneling, slugging, the works. I've never met anyone that boasted about doing this, because the crux of the matter is that resorting to fake farming is saying "I can't kill anyone unless I ask them nicely to give me 8 hooks and break all the pallets on the map." It's not even playing the game; as far as experiences go, it's boring as hell. The only enjoyment to be derived here is from sucker punching other players, and that just makes the culprit a douche.

Lol, yeah that's the same thing I said to the killer afterwards in chat, he said I shouldn't had participated, I said then the whole team would've tunelled and killed me, like he did a survivor that actually game that finished a gen by himself
