instead of focusing on hooking and killing, try to focus on maximize bloodpoints, smash as many booties as you can then it's a win for you. Play fair, no camping and tunneling, slug if you want. If you get 4K, extraordinary, if not, doesn't matter.
I just want to not feel like ######### because I downed one person and 2 gens popped immediately, even if I did get a 3k or 2k eventually
-
play survivor because "good" survivors will tell you that you're bad and that killer isn't bad whenever THEY play.

I was asking because someone told me he had to wait til his power charged before he could teleport. My SWF team all spawned by 1 gen together and the second we spawned in and could move Freddy teleported to our gen and smacked me. I was mainly asking Freddy mains or people who have played him after rework to see how his power worked.
He can't, he has to wait a bit

At the expense of my red rank self being called a baby, I will simply just give up and slap NOED on if the way I progress my hooks goes away due to 2.5 seconds sabos or I'll tunnel
-
@HellDescent said:
I just get tunneled when I use it lol. Which is actually a right play on killers side
Sometimes tunneling ruins the game though because 100 of the attention is going towards one person who could use the entire map at their disposal just to waste time
-
Oh boy, that definitely solves the problem when it goes against anyone but Wraith
-
These forums are killer-biased because they talk more? Just don't listen to all the babies and only care about killers complaining with some platform to stand on, not some stupid: nerf survivor >:(((( bs but I get why they complain, I too am a killer main who believes that there's a lot to complain about but I don't think the game is ages away from somewhat balance

Lmao I have her for the perks and that's it. Level 40 pig with like 2 pages of all green and yellow perks

Is this console or PC?
Console, but I have a lot of knowledge about the Deathslinger already and I can think about how he would play out; aiming isn't so incredibly terrible as most people think

If you see a survivor run to the hook go to another hook simple
Can't always happen depending on location and maps

okay, so two survivors, one being chased, one to "break" the chain, why not lunge and hit the dude blocking the chain? Then you have two injured survivors, it's a win win to me.
Yeah I like it personally, however it becomes a loss for the killer if they hit a LONG Harpoon, which the killer should be rewarded for hitting but will end up leaving the killer with nothing to show for it.

For the people is a perk that allows you to instantly heal a survivor one health state at the expense of injuring yourself and leaving yourself broken.
Now this sounds good in practice, i mean instantly allowing someone to get off the ground? Neat!
But it leaves you broken, unable to heal for a very long time. it shaves 16s off at the expense of disallowing you to heal. thats not that great. We'll make it, shaves off 8s and doesn't have this downside, along with medkits and other perks also allowing you and other people to heal themselves quite fast.
What IS good about it, is its ability to save a player on death hook, by taking them from the downed state to injured, or from injured to healthy. Literally for the people, allowing you to spread out health states easier and take THEIR place on the hook. Its a self sacrificial perk, which if used by a coordinated team, can help stop a killer slugging, and allow survivors better chances.
Counters? insta downs on survivors made healthy, and stbfl. also infectious fright to keep track of all survivors. Along with the fact that it requires two survivors to be together, and grouped up survivors are not a good thing for them expecially if their both injured. Basically anything that allows you to down survivors quickly.
Its an anti slug perk, not a instant heal imo
I think it's fair in every way but can be disappointing for the killer being denied someone who could be on death hook, but otherwise it seems like a fair trade off.

@Seanzu said:
3 survivors not on gens to deny a down? Sounds good to me.
It really only requires 2 survivors

But it's not that simple is it? When a killer downs a survivor there is typically 2-3 hooks that the killer could carry the survivor to. So the potential would-be savior has to be both nearby when a survivor goes down but also has to get to and sabotage the hook before the killer carries the survivor to it. That isn't as simple as just holding m1 for 2.5s. The killer also has plenty of outplay potential and plenty of counters. Iron grasp, agitation, mad grit or hangman's trick all work. Just plain old situational awareness goes a long way too.
Have you played on Blackwater Swamp? That's bullshit right there

You cant 99 them is my understanding. Hooks return in 30 seconds I think.
They're basically just as fast as if you 99'd was the point I was trying to come across

It goes back in like 10 seconds
Is that the exact amount of time?

Ironic you say that, all survivors got this update was an small buff to sabo while killers got a massive amount of buffs.
Know I can see all the killer whining in the forums served a purpose
That 2.5 sabo time is pretty small, huh

Doctor and Oni because they're stupidly fun to play.
Doctor and Oni excel in chasing.
Doctor specializes in early game pressure while Oni specializes in mid-to-late game pressure with his ability. PlusI use Doctor to farm BP and Oni to have more fun because he goes zoom :)
-
More so than DS
-
Decisive Strike and NOED or
Adrenaline and NOED, they both seem equally unfair for the EGC, but together they do cancel each other out but not
-
She's not as good (but still very powerful)
Very add-on dependent at times
Hard for newer players to learn, scares them off
-
Bubba is also a good contender, but really for the fact he's unoriginal. He's basically a worse Billy, even has similar add-ons but no Ultra Rare, wish he had a better ability maybe, doesn't even have to deviate from the chainsaw but it's kinda bland.
-
How about three?
Clown - Bottles are essentially 1/2 of Freddy but reloading is awful
Legion - Basically a survivor with the ability to only injure people
Pig - Worthless traps and the Ambush is difficult to being used in chases or sneaking on people due to speed
-
@crossboy said:
2 killers in one game would be incredibly broken.
2 hatchets immediately hitting the same person for an instant down
2 tier 3 Myers
1 plague infecting and another long range downing
2 hags making loops unironically impossible
And these were just off the top of my head for duplicates. This doesn't sound fun to me
Maybe no duplicates then? :0

One killer can beat a swf. Two killers would be impossible to beat in some cases. This will not work
This was a fun idea just to clarify but that's why I thought of the possibility of adding more survivors

Hopefully you don't have a word in balance in anything ever.
This was just a fun, jokey suggestion poking at how people say BHVR isn't survivor sided, they're SWF sided but ok thanks

Thanks king

That's still not 3 gens though
I need someone to show me that, I have yet to see that happen to myself or any of the streamers I watch
If you watched Farmer John yesterday he had a chase with a Spirit which admittedly wasn't the best, it was about a minute or so and THREE GENS WENT OFF LOL

Legion and Ghosty

Yes because playing against survivors are scary as all hell

I'm very curious what people would say to someone before they try the new update and since I haven't tried the new update yet till tonight I'm very interested...
Say whatever the ups and downs are I know some not all and what do you suggest as well for example play killer or Survivor...
Play survivor, easiest game of their lives
-
@RickJames said:
Yeah I spawned in as ghost face on one of the farm maps and 2 gens were completed by the time I found the first survivor. I just went and protected the basement chest as 2 gens being done before I could even get a hook is a gg right off the bat.
Ahh I feel like DbD has become into a race to see if you can get just 1 hook before the gens are done
-
At this point in the game, because of gens flying by I find myself planning for 3 gen strata half the time because 3 gens fly by after 2 chases

The games are seriously too fast. It almost feels pointless to play.
The point is to make the new players feel better c: too bad I don't see any of them at ranks 2-5

Require's other perks to have a noticeable benefit
Require's High mobility to be able to use that benefit properly
Can be cleansed
And then it's DECENT
I'm just saying it's decent for the roles that use it well but obviously it's nowhere near as good as old ruin. I personally think they should ignore the stupid lore behind hag and just actually make it non-hex but then it might be a bit too powerful, it might be hard to get a perfect balance with ruin
-
@Lucama said:
Lolno. It would be if base regression rate wasn't 1/4 of the rate at which a survs repairs. Right now Ruin would suck as a non-hex perk.
1/2 at Level 3 but I get you. I honestly think it's balanced because when you maintain good pressure then you can slow the game down a good amount, obviously it's not as god tier as old ruin but I still think it has value and shouldn't be discarded immidiately. However, this whole thing could've been avoided if it weren't for somewhat busted gen speeds or lack of secondary onjs
