I think they going to something with icons
but really what they should do is have in game chat bar which you should be able to close if you don't want it.
Chat bar would be nice, but quick messages would be easier for console. Maybe both?

I’ve adored crypt TV for years, so this heavily makes me feel betrayed.

I misinterpreted the title as you rating your friends, on a tier list format.
So if one of your friends was funny, instant S tier, while if you had a real boring friend, straight into D.
That would be funny lmao

@dugman said:
Just for context, is this how good your friend is at these killers, or how good your friend is as a survivor at escaping them, or how good your friend thinks they are on average for everybody?
For example, he has Huntress as S Tier. Is that because your friend is personally an awesome Huntress, or is it that when they are a survivor going against a good Huntress they usually lose?
Context is how good he thinks these killers are.

I love it! Lots of detail, and a type of killer i’d really enjoy, with the acid spit and switching between queen and drone

Depends on the killer, CI for prep killers like hag or trapper, LP for basically the rest. But this is still mostly up to opinion

I don’t think she needs a nerf anymore because of the stridor nerf. Iron will counters her really well now so anytime you get hit, it’s because she correctly guessed where you would be.
That’s true, but I think having straight up counterplay instead of just 1 perk would be better, some people don’t have iron will unlocked.

The rifted:
DEATH RIFT:
while moving around, you passively create a rift trail, closing in an area with the rift trail’s create’s a death rift, survivor standing in a death rift area passively gain 10% rift mark’s every second, if a survivor reaches 100% the mark is consumed and the survivor is injured by one health state. Survivor’s inside a death rift area upon it being spawned gains an instant 20% rift mark’s. Rift trails disappear after 10 seconds, trail’s that created a death rift area have the duration reset back to 10 seconds. Survivor lose rift marks at 5% per second after not getting rift marks for 6 seconds. Survivor’s damaged in any way cannot gain any rift marks for 20 seconds
SPECIAL ATTACK: RIFT STRIKE:
holding the power button aim’s a strike that will reach further up to a certain point max depending on how long it’s aimed, this strike leaves behind a rift trail’s on its travel. The strike stops at wall or survivor, survivor’s hit by the strike gain 50% rift marks. The place where the trail stops will have a mini rift spawn at the location for a short duration
SPECIAL ABILITY: RIFT RETURN:
Pressing the secondary ability button while within 16 meters of a mini rift, the rift will return to you leaving a trail behind its path. The mini rift can travel through walls
EXTRA FACT: When within 24 meters of a hooked survivor: rift marks gained from ability’s are halved.
PERKS:
Eye of time:
your eyes transcend to a different time, survivor’s within 12/14/16 meters of you automatically enter a chase despite a chase not having being started and have their aura revealed to you, upon a ending a chase with a survivor their aura is revealed for 3 seconds and goes on cooldown for 40/35/30 seconds.
this perk is deactivated while undetectable.
Time gap:
they speed it up, you slow it down, when a generator is complete, all survivor’s are hindered by 7% for 12/14/16 or until they go within 16/14/12 meters of you.
Hex: Time freeze:
The clock’s ticking ends, the endgame collapse automatically begins when any exit gets to 90/85/80%, Hex: time freeze will hex a random dull totem when the endgame collapse starts making its effect’s starts until cleansed and will also reveal all survivor aura’s for 5 seconds
all survivor’s become hindered by 4%, downing a survivor in the exit gate will block it off for 15 seconds.
This he’s gets automatically cleansed after hooking 2 survivor’s during endgame collapse (will be shown with tokens).

If you don’t want specific character perks, why level them up?
-
Twins had the most variety of the 3 in terms of add-ons, but seeing trickster and nemesis’ perks, I have a feeling they’re heading towards more straightforward add-ons with the purple’s and ultra rare’s being more fun oriented.

If he wouldnt have that, his power would be completly useless since its pretty easy to dodge and hard to hit.
Why should i go for tentacle hits out in the open?
Would it be fair to maybe increase the hitbox or something? Cuz I do also think he needs something for that, tentacle out in the open hits are a little useless indeed, maybe a panic sprint speed reduction if their hit by the tentacle, sound good?
-
@SHYHERIST said:
Delete useless zombies.
What did they do to you lol?
-
@Ruma said:
Why should tentacles prioritises pallets over survivors???
its to make short wall loops more fair, since nemesis can just hit you over short walls, making a pallet generally useless unless it’s a longer wall, this change is so nemesis is more consistent on all loops, plus I did give him quicker pallet breaking.
-
@Phasmamain said:
The contamination speed boost is kinda necessary because otherwise Nemesis would just infect you and tentacle you again since the cooldown isn’t too long
That is kinda a true fact, it just kinda feels like a drag sometimes having to hit them 3 times, I think having the first hit be quicker while the other 2 harder feels better. If it’s too strong however, a change could be made.

You sure about doc?
I personally am, maybe a teeny bit of bias, but doctor can shut down a match easily if the survivor are even a mild piece of passive, he can stop gen rush, but it’s also his counter, he is the best 3 gen character in the game aswell.

This is my personal tier list, I’ll explain some of the lesser obvious choices
hag: her body has been heavily rotten, so it will be easy to take her down
Doctor: has really only killed people with “experiments” and having them be tied up, however his weapon and shocking could be rather painfull
All the “depends” tier killer’s: Freddy depends on if he would take you to the dream world (the nightmare on elm street version, he can basically do anything in that realm). Deathslinger would need his first harpoon gun, if he uses his normal gun, then GG EZ to survivor’s. Legion depends on if they fight together or not, otherwise E tier for each member. Plague depends on which vomit type she’s got. Spirit depends if you can even harm her (due to her being a spirit). And demo cuz, um, yeah, hard to explain, but yeah...
Charlotte: she’s been surviving all her life hoarding and sometimes killing people while still surviving
nurse: one fatigue and she dead
clown: has kidnapped and killed a good chunk of people before, all (mostly) done by his gas bottles, he will just knock everyone out
myers: is shown to be completely invulnerable in the movies, examples: uninjured by a high fall, keeps his eyes and isn’t blinded by getting shot in the eyes, SURVIVES A MOTHER ######### EXPLOSION (does get knocked out however), is invulnerable to fire and many more things happened to him, plus Laurie had YEARS AND YEARS of prep time, and still couldn’t kill him
oni: tall af and is wearing armor, plus the katana is just a 2 EZ swipe kill
-
Dead dawg saloon is my personal least favorite, as someone who play’s both sides, the map is extremely boring and small, playing survivor on the map isn’t fun due to a lack of differing loops, half of the pallet loops are pathetic and it’s always either a hit or miss on that map, either killer wrecks you, or you wreck the killer, no in-between due to window loops wasting a lot of time if window’s aren’t broken, now, from killer perspective the map doesn’t feel extremely engaging, survivor’s mostly use the standerd saloon loop to add that annoying spice, overall, the map suffers from size (and bushes, it’s not fun to have a claudette be completely invisible in a bush)

This kind of doesn't count as a complaint, but it is so frustrating to see people spam the DBD Twitter posts with "Please consider adding [Insert Licensed Character]".
If I had to go with something common on here, it'd be just the constant fighting between people. It's just depressing to see a community get this aggressive towards each other.
Yeah, I’m getting somewhat tired of that aswell

Why do you think most of these are listed? Because there are explicit problems with design that the devs are completely ignoring.
Spirit is a Killer that should be built on 50/50s, which are more like 90/10's (Spirit favor) with Stridor. 70/30 otherwise.
The devs nerf things that they absolutely shouldn't all the time, as well, like the Thanatophobia nerf a few months ago (which has not been reverted).
People are uninstalling because of the crappy state the game has been in since it has been released, and they're tired of it.
DS is not a perk that is used to prevent tunneling, about 30-40% of the time. That's a lot for a perk so powerful, that it can be used in so many cases where it really shouldn't be given the intended design. Do you understand how easy it is, with DS and Unbreakable, to just hop on a gen the second you get unhooked because the Killer can't do anything about it?
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1884527#Comment_1884527
Personally this is the only thing said here that is legitimately annoying at times, with little merit. Queue times are because of the players, not the devs, complaining to them about it won't do anything.
I know these are massive issue’s! I’m just trying to make fun of something that is get awfully annoying with the “same old, same old”

Some perks in this game are capable of being meta instead of the same 6 killer perks you see but the stupid basic attack requirements applied just restrict them.
Knock out
Surge
Gearhead
Why do all these perks have this dumb requirement?
Knock out used to not have it and it was fine.
Surge? Infectious with gens, not an oppressive perk and you can get it to work on so much more killers without the requirement.
Gearhead? Can't you just make it upon damaging a survivor? Maybe you'll actually get some value out of the RNG based tracking perk then.
Knock out is already kinda abnoxious with solo play, so maybe only have the aura hiding activate without basic attack, gearhead should just automatically activate on each down and with a longer duration, and surge could possibly be top-tier without the restriction, and I’d like that, more variety.
-
Yeah, This is basicly how everyone wants DS to work, maybe a little extra change to make the timer drain slower while downed, to prevent slugging against it and this would be perfect.

I see a lot of killer mains for lack of a better phrase and let’s be not everyone gets a trophy brutally honest, crying on here about how Hurd it is. They only got an average of 3 kills out of 5 games. My suggestion for the legions of killers crying about keys, crying about being looped, hatched, that this perk is op and that one is op, but BBQ is fine and apparently no killer is op but 1/2 the survivors are, spend some time as a survivor. Learn to get used to being killer fodder...
I play both roles and getting enjoyment out of killer is extremely hard most matches, unless I’m playing my personal favorite’s (doctor and huntress), I still don’t always get good matches, and first of all, unless your facing spirit every game, you should be able to loop decently after 20+ hours in DBD (which I’m expecting you have).

Personally, if they do it right, I think it would be amazing, while I’m not the biggest fan of FNAF, the lore of it does entice me.
some people desperately don’t want FNAF in, I don’t really give a crap if FNAF get’s in. The only part that scares me is the FNAF community, not everyone in that community is a bright bird.
People also say FNAF is targeted towards kids, which is isn’t what I’d exactly say, yes, it’s more for a younger audience, but have you seen the lore? That is something no child should ever see nor read.

So, with Power Struggle, we see a perk that is hard to activate on occasion, similar to the problems with Flip Flop. Granted, Flip Flop is decent in that some Killers don't expect it and it grants enough room to escape should the Killer have been careless. I like this quality of Flip Flop.
With Power Struggle, the needed 25% wiggle progress is fine, but in most situations, especially if the user is Elodie, the Killer will most definitely avoid pallets, as even without Power Struggle it's a gamble to shuffle on through those, since a survivor could be waiting.
In my opinion, Power Struggle should at least have a secondary quality to it so that it can be just a little more viable. For me, I think it personally should increase the time it takes for the Killer to recover from your pallet stuns by 15%.
15% is a very small but noticeable increase, as that makes the stun last 3.45 seconds, nearly an extra half second to the stun. I think this would be a small, but welcome addition to Power Struggle, as it allows for just a little more benefit from it's usage. Thoughts?
TL;DR: Power Struggle should additionally allow a 15% increase to pallet stun duration (3.45 seconds).
I can understand this reasoning, but power struggle is already a bit abnoxious with flip flop, plus power struggle is completely fine where it is.
power struggle is also very impactful to the killer, due to him knowing he has to take different path’s and play differently around you, especially if they know you have flip flop with it aswell, the killer physically cannot slug you with power struggle and flip flop is your on a pallet, and worst of all, coordinated teammates can go for the pallet stuns if the killer isn’t slugging, meaning the killer is forced to take the pallet stun or let them recover. overall, power struggle is good enough.

your first suggestion is actually very programable if they wanted to it wouldn't be too hard for them to do it the issue is that that buff would be way too strong and wouldn't be implemented.
As for the second buff it wouldn't make the perk that much better and honestly it doesn't really seem fair as it will only be useful against a IR user you don't know is near you or if someone goes into a locker. I think against good survivors who run meta and last long in a chase this perk wouldn't be helpful at all which makes it unviable, even against a bunch of solo's it wouldn't be good as survivors might not run IR and even if they did the amount of times it will help you find them is small since they are probably running away from you or are not close enough for the perk to work.
I personally don't think every perk should be viable nor do i think they could be, tracking perks like this no matter what are useless to good players and are mainly there to help newer players. That said certain perks that are just bad should get reworked or buffed, perks like blood favor are just useless against even decent players and perks like furtive chase serve no real purpose.
Good point, not every perk needs to be viable, but i would like more variety in good perks to use, but lovely civil reasoning.

All I want is new ways to play the game, for example another objective, it’s why I loved the 4th year anniversary event so much, bug’s can also use some squashing, but playing the game without the best perk setups is starting to get even harder.

hex: obsessive link, bind them and fill them with connective fear, you become obsessed with one survivor, the first survivor you hit that isn’t the obsession will suffer from obsessive link, when obsessive link is active on a survivor, both the obsession and the obsessive link survivor take damage if one is hit, the hit that apply’s obsessive link will not damage both players, if the obsession is switched, the old obsession suffers from obsessive link after a 60/50/40 second delay. This hex persist’s until cleansed.

I propose a significant change to decisive strike. If this perk was designed to to prevent people from getting tunneled then it needs to be so broken that it actually prevents killers from tunneling people. I propose that Decisive strike should always be available for at least 60 seconds regardless of what level, however the stun time is what changes. 5 seconds is no where near enough time. 6 seconds at level one, 7 seconds at level 2, 8 seconds at level three. In addition instead of a one time use, every time you are freed from the hook it activates.
Now a proposal for a new perk if you have any plans for introducing new survivors. Weightlifter. a perk that increases stun times by X%. I say 50% at level three. If someone were the use both recommended perks at level three that could equal 12 seconds of stun time. One that gives the survivor time to actually create space, and two it severally punishes killers who cant seem to out grow tunneling people. When you get faced with a possible 2 12 second stuns, just the threat of it will prevent most killers from tunneling people.
I Get what your trying to say, but 12 seconds!? Are you mad?! DS already sabotages matches sometimes and if it lasts for longer it will give survivors A MASSIVE amount of free time, also, why does the perk have to be BROKEN why not just good? That’s like saying you should buff already good/strong perks, also, this is would not be fun for new players. JUST GET AN SWF AND HAVE THEM ALL USE BORROWED TIME, GG EZ! Now I’m not a tunneler, but I do tunnel late game if I got No/1 kills, why would I let my prey escape?
