They're banning spasmodic users? Ok then, how many sprintburst or infinite DH exploiters got banned? None. GG devs, totally not survivor sided.
The thing that doesn't work about this comparison is that there's actually a way to tell whether or not someone is using killer exploits (at least when the devs actually notify the community). What about the survivor exploits? What way is there to tell that a player was exploiting the sprint burst bug? Should they have just banned every single player who ran sprint burst even if they didn't use the exploit? Also infinite dead hard wasn't / isn't an exploit. There's no way to purposefully make it happen, it's just a random occurrence and yet again, what way is there to monitor it? Should they just ban all players that run one of the most popular perks in the game?

I like this idea but as someone else said, he would need some buffs in return, something that makes him better in regular gameplay.
-
I really want more sort of 80s punk rock outfits for survivors like Jeff and Nea, just think it would look cool.

@Trollthem said:
So you want more buff for survivors even though survivors is easy to pipe and you have absolutly zero effort to make to get your pipe ?
I mean...pipes can be pretty heavy sometimes, sometimes you need help lifting one up. In all seriousness though, getting a pip doesn't automatically mean that you had fun does it? I could have a match where none of my teammates do gens, go down instantly, and farm me. I could escape this match after getting hatch or doing all the gens myself but it wouldn't have been a fun match would it?

Or just, you know, make Undetectable work against Spine Chill. That's fine too.
Then what would be the point in running it? So I know that a killer with a Terror Radius is coming towards me even though I'm not deaf? Spine Chill doesn't tell you where the killer is or even if they're actually coming towards you, just that they are looking in your direction.

What's so funny? That's literally the entire point of the perk. Get to where the survivors are before they have a chance to leave that area.

I can't stand this ######### title, it isn't even funny but it's making me laugh so much.

Someone obviously ignored the toolbox update :/

If they'd just add a bloody totem counter, solo survivor would be so much easier in regards to perks like NOED. Wish the devs would have stayed true to their word about buffing solo players.

Doesn't ST take place in the 80's?It's supposed to be old fashioned and give grandma vibes.Same with Laurie's outfit
In the show it actually looked decent though, in game it's an ugly colour and its shape is something that practically defies physics.

That's still skewing results if matches aren't being counted.
The thing that would be skewing results is counting DCs, the devs only take into account the matches where the killer KILLS the survivor when looking at their kill rate
-

Then it's counting DC's as kills. That would definitely skew the data due to how frustratingly often survivors DC.
Devs have confirmed many times that matches with a DC aren't counted when looking at a killer's kill rate.

DS and BT have both been changed due to player feedback in the past.
DS now has a requirement to be used, one that can be countered by just slugging the person who was unhooked.
BT used to give both the unhooker and the person that was unhooked endurance.

There is plenty wrong with them. They allow for survivors to get away with bad plays.
Imagine saying "don't make stupid plays" as if you can control when you get unhooked

Vigil is fine as it is .
It makes exhustion perks go from 45 Seconds to 35 seconds I believe . If it gets buffed . Game will be broken with Sprint Burst and Dead hard activating during chases .
1) It's 40 to 32 seconds.
2) How would that happen? Exhaustion doesn't go down while running.

@ABannedCat said:
How dare we buff a low-tier killer.
It isn't really a buff, it's an unintended event that creates inconsistencies, something that the devs have shown they don't want in the game (see Legion's power and Pig's dash no longer acting as a "basic attack").
-
DBD Mobile are getting free winter themed cosmetics for Claudette, Dwight, Trapper, and Hillbilly. Claudette and Dwight are getting base clothes with a snowflake pattern on them while Trapper and Hillbilly have been made to look frozen. Maybe we'll get them one day as well.

So exhaustion for a minute and a half just stays the same?

But you didn't need to mori them. Just sacrificing was fine.
Really? I tried that in a match, sacrificed the obsession to the EGC (had a bad match and they killed themselves for me) and it didn't count towards it.
-
Wasn't really a "massive skill ceiling" when people "mastered" a technique survivors couldn't really do anything against in less than a week. The flick meant that if the Oni was in close proximity to you while BF was active, there was NOTHING you could do against it, you could try to 360 but what does that matter when the killer can charge up his insta down ability in less than a second and instantly 180 onto you? Literally the only thing you could do was hope that there was a jungle gym with short walls on the corners in order to hide behind them while he flicked, if there wasn't one, you went down.
-
Obsessive, I hate using moris and people like to DC against them :/
Also, just in case we get another flashlight while the killer is carrying someone challenge, you don't actually need to get the save, just the blind so getting it early still counts.
-
As much as I just want the maps to be made brighter, they look really pretty at the moment. Before the last chapter they were much brighter but looked flat out ugly.

oh and that enduring doesn’t counter DS, but DS still remains 5 seconds.
big lel
DS was purposefully kept at 5 seconds even with the Enduring change because what sort of threat is a 2.5 second stun? Killers shouldn't not care whether a survivor has DS or not.
-
I'd really like if they kept adding things like this, brings in a bit more realism to the game.
-
Honestly I'm pretty ashamed that I've joined said battleground, a huge number of people here are overly stubborn (including myself at times) and it just leads to argument after argument. It's quite upsetting really.
-
They probably will be changed, especially seeing as they're all master challenges. Having repeats of certain challenges isn't all that bad so they may do what they did for level 3.

Weird. I was able to dodge and avoid it just fine after like 3 games when I came to the realization that you shouldn't just loop him like any other normal killer when his power is up.
Imagine that, playing around a killer's power. Amazing.
Now the counter play to his power is just walk 4 feet around a corner.
I completely agree that it isn't hard on jungle gyms with corners but in dead zones and/or simple pallet tiles, what can you do? The flick is combined with a lunge, meaning that even a decent amount of space gets closed and the charge time for the attack is next to nothing.
-
@Acromio said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/911878#Comment_911878
Indeed. Instadowns are an intended game mechanic. Pallet-looping is an exploit.
I was more talking about the "practically undodgeable" part but you think that pallet looping is an exploit so I really can't be bothered taking this convo any further.

I literally have both his achievements, got adept first try. May I ask you to point out where in my post I claim to know everything about him? Because I can certainly point out where decide to claim something with zero evidence. Remember, assuming makes an ass out of u and me.

Looping wasn't intended either. Should we remove that, too?
Looping may not have been intended, but it certainly doesn't equate to a practically undodgeable insta down attack.

love how people now actually try and defend them breaking the killer thinking this line means he wasnt supposed to have a flick
Ahahahahah "breaking the killer"
What real effect does his turn being 90 degrees narrower actually have? The survivor can actually 360 an insta down attack? Oni D tier plz buff :'(

His flick was literally a "known issue" in the 3.4.0 patch notes, it wasn't supposed to be a thing.

You're trading off slight progression to more map pressure and an insta down for an exact pinpoint on a survivor's location, seems pretty fair to me seeing as injured survivors who can't heal will practically have their aura revealed at all times unless they're just running about not doing anything.
-
So what should we have done about it? Constantly avoid the orbs? An impossibility if you want to heal seeing as you produce them while being healed or should we have just constantly ran about the map, not doing gens or being healed seeing as you need to remain motionless to perform those actions, meaning you touch the orbs, meaning your aura gets revealed.
-
Ngl, I don't really think anyone likes doing nothing other than holding a button and pressing another occasionally for 80 seconds straight. Freddy with slowdown add-ons and dying light could make a gen take over 100 seconds to complete. Does that sound fun to you? Because it won't to the majority of players. I agree that gens can go too fast sometimes but making them take longer by default is a bad approach to take.

Not many conditions, just one that makes perfect sense. It doesn't work after someone else has been hooked. How hard is that to understand?
I multiple down situations, this change wouldn't work.
I've had to tell too many people about this scenario because people never seem to think about the variables in this game.
Killer downs you and sees another survivor right by you, killer then downs that survivor. Killer hooks you and then picks up the other downed survivor. As the killer is carrying this other survivor, you get unhooked. Killer then hooks the survivor they were carrying, deactivating DS and allowing the killer to tunnel all they want.

It does, because the right holders for Halloween have all the control in this situation. So the Devs, would have to tell them if they wanted to add/remove/change anything that has to do with Halloween. Just like the last guy, do remember that they agreed with the Holders 3 years ago when they were very small. So they were, most likely, very submissive at the time.
Unless the devs for some reason signed a contract that said they weren't allowed to change anything Halloween related for balance, they can do whatever they want to the map. Following your train of thought, the devs weren't allowed to add the undetectable status effect to Michael without asking first.

Yeah I am skeptical too; I've heard dumber things though. They can re-balance freddy and change how he works entirely, they can probably change the haddonfield map.
From what I remember, before it was completely dead, when F13 lost the rights to add any more content, they let everyone know that they could alter the content that was already in-game for balance and QoL. So, the devs should be able to change Haddonfield.
-
@Spartagone45 said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/111348/so-when-are-we-gonna-fix-haddonfield
They're going to have to get permission from the people who hold the rights to the Halloween DLC. So until then, nothing is happening to Haddonfield.
Pretty sure it doesn't work like that
