Yup, it's invisible, but it's now global to any game played, event or not.
Just look at the score screen after.
Thank you for the clarification, appreciate it!

So the bloodpoint multiplier is just invisible? Except for the lobby which it states on the article

Sorry, but I just had to comment. Found it way more funny than it should but still laughed. A Huntress Main talking dislikes concerning Sniping. Just thought that was funny, to me.
Have a Nice Day 😁
A character having a ranged power is different to pinhead swinging his little chain and hitting you over vaults you left 5 seconds ago 😥

I'm not sure about it. I remember they were talking about auto aim, quite long ago, years in fact, and they were quite specific that it only exists on consoles because of the usual reasons about people being clumsy with a controller. Unless that was changed. But I don't remember any patch that changed this. And I don't notice any sort of auto aim when I play
Sometimes it's not something you notice, but when you play a lot of DbD you notice it a lot easier. The clip shown by OP is also on PC, I notice it constantly on PC too. They can say it doesn't exist, but it's coming from the same devs that said cross-progression was coming to the game for console and PC over 2 years ago...

The charms are yellow rarity.
Alright, after restarting my Steam rather than just the game I can see I have the charms in the game. I didn't get any pop-up but I still have them in my inventory, so thank you so much for all of your help :)

@Rizzo said:
If your charms are not appearing after the purchase, try rebooting the game.
I got mine after a restart.
I've restarted the game a couples times today and haven't seen anything. I wasn't sure if there was another method to buying the cosmetics, I just used auric cells.

According to the following, you should have unlocked the Cadet Corps Crest Charm, the Military Police Regiment Crest Charm, the Wall Titan Charm and the Garrison Regiment Crest Charm.

I've heard that restarting the game grants these charms if you haven't already got them, but it maybe hasn't given you the pop-up? You may have to re-check your charm list to see if you have them.
I didn't even know you were supposed to get a pop-up. I haven't seen anything of the sort. What would the colour rarity be for these charms if you know?

It sounds like these perks are pretty cool, but just so I can understand the first perk is like you get a token each time a survivor is hooked until you reach 4, correct? Kind of like Remember Me? I think that these are some cool perks that could combo into some nasty endgame builds.
-
Complaining about killer/survivor meta is a snoozefest. What're players/devs gonna do when they see forum complaints? Nothing, it's a cycle.
-
I find it weird that a lot of people aren't getting any. My friend who had bubba but hadn't played a single match got 6k shards, and I got mine too.
-
He's strong, but not OP. You can counter him, you just need some understanding of his mechanics. Plus, he does have a cooldown, unless he has Alchemist Ring, which IMO should get a change. Otherwise, just practice against him is the best, and learning how to bait his swing when he's in rush can be really beneficial.

Ok I have a question. When you say item...does that mean only one piece of the outfit or the entire outfit
You get pieces of the outfit
Thank you to @Aven_Fallen and @Lycidas for answering x

Or maybe they could just make the dull totems break when a unit of a Killer stomps on them.
This really did confuse me that a massive like at least 6"7 killer crushing a seemingly brittle bone structure wouldn't be able to break the damn thing

I doubt it. They've already shown us with the anniversary event that they are perfectly fine with screwing a large chunk of their playerbase while the rest reap the rewards.
What's that in relation to?
-
This happens on PC as well, happened to me as Pig on Hawkins :/
-
I'm using PC and the same thing, no BP reward from going Rank 1 Survivor and Killer back to Ash 4
-
Teachable perks give reason to grind out the game to be honest.
-
I feel like RPD would better suit The Pig for her home map, considering the map is essentially like one of Jigsaw's sick games.
-
Because ranking system = perfect
-
Obviously there are gonna be perks to counter certain things to happen. Sure, some things are a bit busted, but LITERALLY the same thing could be said for survivor. Getting slugged, use Unbreakable or even We're Gonna Live Forever. Getting tunnelled, use DS. Survivors have BNP, Prove Thyself, and can gen rush the game if they're on comms easily with one person in chase. If a survivor messed up once in a chase, just use Dead Hard. Wanna do a safe unhook 1 second after getting hooked, BT. So yeah, it goes both ways.
-
BHVR has already stated that they aren't about accuracy when it comes to hitboxes in DBD, otherwise... idk they said that something would go wrong I can't completely remember, but then they made Slinger, Trickster, etc.
-
I feel like relying on other perks to have your randoms get info for when you have a certain perk that can benefit them is good, and I do think this change would be nice, it could help in almost any situation that helps a teammate... which I feel like BHVR will just say that that is the issue, that "Head-On wasn't intended to be a perk to save teammates, it was meant to be used in a solo chase, etc.", and then won't do anything about it. Otherwise, this is a solid idea.

I just have a problem with all-seeing blood & coxcombed clapper addons. Almost every wraith runs these and it’s so annoying to go against.
I think that if I had any issue with Wraith, this would be the only thing. But in the end it all comes back down to add-on's and how so many other killers too have busted add-on's for what would generally be mediocre killers; Myers & Fragrant Tuft of Hair, Ghostface & Chewed Pen/GFCOT, Clown & Redhead's Pinkie Finger, etc.

He's been Survivor's punching bag for so long that Survivors are used to bulling him every game and now they are complaining that they can't bully him anymore.
I full expect if the devs every made the clown a remotely good killer people will be complaining the same way for the same reason.
I completely agree with this

@glitchboi said:
Wraith is overrated tbh. However, he's a very relaxing killer to play as, although is quite an easy killer to loop. Hit and run Wraith is obviously boring to go against, but you can still beat one.
Anyone who hates Wraith would definitely hate going against the old Wraith if he was more common back then.
Literally this 100%
-
@ilovedbd123 said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/276025/why-is-wraith-getting-hate-randomly
It all depends on the map:
Wraith now has the basekit movement speed in cloak that he has always needed. His map pressure is now great. And if you go against a good wraith, who knows what LOS blockers, and brings silent claxon offering (iri add on for silent bell) then you'll have a difficult time.
However, on maps like the game, or other open maps (Ormond for example) wraith can suck because you see him before he gets to you. It all depends on how good the map and the wraith is.
So what is the issue then? That could be said for many other killers, that if you bring some add-ons and know what you're doing, then of course the survivors can have a difficult time. Likewise for the map thing.

Wraith has been the de facto ladder killer since I joined to be honest. I feel like you are late to the party. It has been this way for a couple of months.
I've only noticed a wave of it atm, like sure people can complain about any killer. "Myers OP because infinite T3 add-on, Pig OP because RNG, etc.". Could You tell me like the issues people have specifically with him (I'm entirely sure that I've missed a lot which is why I'm asking now).

I could understand nerfing top tier killers like Nurse and Spirit if they were addressing the issues with the game like Gen speed, but here we are nerfing Demogorgon LOL....Also a Freddy nerf which again would make sense since it was a nerf to his slowdown, yet here we are in a meta where people gen rush and are done a game in around 5 minutes but lets nerf the one killer that forces you to stay longer.
Freddy nerfs better have gen speed nerfs followed behind is all I have to say.
You'd have to be super biased not to think Gen speeds are absolutely ridiculous right now. I black pip so much as survivor because games are just too damn short.
I'm not sure if you meant nerf or buff with the Demo thing because it was most definitely a buff. But I think that instead of just nerfing or buffing gens I would say to add more objectives in relation to the nerfs which would make games longer and more interesting IMO.

My point is its a rare, random tile conflict. While it does give survs a route that gives them an extra 1/2 second lead, its really not that big of a deal. Much less annoying than the hill bug, the survivor sound bug, the hooking bug, or the grab bug. I'm not saying its "totally cool", im just saying there are bigger issues to deal with.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1711868#Comment_1711868
In this specific situation, if you can't hit a survivor whos trying to exploit this, you're just a bad killer. If you're talking about other day-shame tile glitches, that's a separate issue.
Sure there are bigger issues the game has that needs to be fixed, but you're saying that to the game where the devs decide to rework Slippery Meat than focus on things like Iri heads. Trees like this can extend loops for the survivors giving them extra time to drop a pallet, where if the tree wasn't there the killer would've hit the survivor. Sure, it's not common, but it sure as hell still gives an unfair advantage
-
Minecraft Steve. If they can add it into smash, why not DbD?

Because killer can just eat it and tunnel you after?
Ok, but does that change the fact that it's still wasting a hell of a lot of time? I couldn't even count the amount of times I've had to go after the unhooked survivor after not seeing the unhooker, chasing and getting looped for quite a considerable amount of time, and then downing them and get hit by a 59 sec DS. That can be crippling to a killer, and having 4 survivors with 8 potential DS' is a bit overkill IMO, like I'm ok with the other changes but multiple times is so unfair for killer
-
Wait hold on I'm sorry, use it multiple times? Why??

Doc's been doing that on console for years. Guess i got used to it. However for an fps-drop fiesta, I invite y'all PCrs to play on an Xbox. With doc. On Lery's. Pretty please!
I know how it is because i came from Xbox to PC. I was just so fed up with controller and frames tbh

Doc to me is much more annoying than leathal. His rework made him better at loops, and he was always good at tracking & messing up skill check. But others simply can kill faster and better.
Keep moving around and never ever 3-gen yourselves and you should be ok. And yes Calm Spirit is an excellent counter to him but few run it.
I think they're saying that its not the gameplay mechanics of Doctor, it's that their frames take a huge dip playing against him due to everything happening (getting shocked, illusionary doctors, static blasts, etc.), because the same thing happens to me and my specs are fine
-
I had this same issue playing Freddy, without Enduring or anything. I asked some people I know and it's apparently a not well known bug so hopefully it gets recognised

Its actually a better perk on hit and run playstyles like Jumpscare Myers, Wraith or (depending on how ya play him) Ghostface. If your intentions is to try to catch people injured for a chase later on...its handy.
OK but if i down someone with SB does it transfer into when they're off the hook? So would it be applied if i down them with a normal hit, then they get taken off the hook?
-
@DrDeepwound said:
problemn with sloppy on Legion is, sloppy only works on basic attacks, and with Legion usually you are downing them with m1 after already injured by feral frenzy, so it lacks the synergy there. Which is why people run thana instead on Legion.
I did not know that actually, thanks! I don't use him much it was just an example but that's very useful to know thank you

The use of a prestige for ranks are useless or even counter-intuitive, seeming how:
- We already have Devotion for our levels, which is DBD's prestige
- Matchmaking is broken enough, and would most likely create longer queue times (IF you're speaking of matching prestige 1 people with prestige 1 people, etc...)
Short answer...no

Oof thats gotta suck hard bud, I honestly feel so bad for you. I did not like that game, too short and not innovative

It's a massive issue that has plagued this game for a really long time because... I don't even know. People give killers a hard time for doing well that game or not doing well that game, it's stupid. Survivors get crap because of the same reason. Not many people care about the person on the other side of the screen and it's saddening that is the case. I hope you get it easier in future because it's absolutely not fun to be on the receiving end of this pointless harassment. Kind regards <3
-
This sounds like a Black Ops II zombies myth or somethin', but good luck finding it
-
Yeah, MMR is broken and doesn't work like at all. Plus killers are deterred from playing killer because of issues like gen speeds, so not finding many killers is another factor
-
Toolboxes*
-
I feel like a change like this would overly buff some perks such as blood warden. If end game is triggered and they get the doors open when end game is already halfway through, blood warden can literally make it impossible to escape if someone gets hooked. I feel like it'd also make the end of the game go too fast, and would make it harder for people to get gates open. That's just my opinion
