Faced a doctor with a skillcheck build. We couldn't even finish a gen because we kept screwing up and the regression was about 20% of the gen life and not the usual 5%-ish. I mean #########?
Or does Doc have an addon now that does that?
i played twins and i have seen this missing skillchecks and stoping a 99 percent gen

I've actually never had survivors whine about getting moried from 5 stacks of Devour Hope. IMO it's what a hex should be. Very powerful, a nice reward half way through and they don't know it's on the field until it's actually dangerous.
yes and you have alot of time to stop devour hope to

I really hope not. Its my favorite perk in the game. Ive been playing less and less killer lately as it seems survivors are getting more and more douchey so i haven't checked it.
Hoping its a bug.
devour hope is one of the most fair perks in the game

I started fully playing the game a few months ago and feel I have become mainly accustomed with the game and understand a lot, but the one thing I cannot grasp is why if I’m the last survivor and the killer closes hatch, after finding me they’ll just down me, bring me to the gate (sometimes letting me struggle out, just so when I try to get the gate open they down me again) just to begin looking at me and then hitting the gate switch, looking back, and then hitting it again. I don’t understand because as far as I’m aware, I’m as helpless as a toddler when downed.

Do you think there will come a day when you boot up DbD and don't face a toxic squad within 2 games? Where you might actually want to play it for more than 5 minutes a month?
I seriously doubt it.
that is like going to fortnight and not asking for toxic 5 year old

Oni are literally a slug machine, and it has no counter once he powered up.
A nerf i would suggest blood orbs should have a limited time: this should allow for oni to absorb blood orbs as soon as it is available.
Oni Mains are not afraid of missing hits because they literally get their powers everywhere.
no nerf
-
@Reinami said:
Why are you nerfing one while not nerfing the other? Nobody disagrees that they both need to be changed. They are both awful for the game. But you can't nerf the only reliable counter to keys, and then leave keys the same. It is going to be miserable for a while now until keys are fixed.
then dont play wait tell there fixed and stop complaining

@Moundshroud said:
I understand and accept that the Mori have been nerfed. It isn't how I would have done it, and I have strong reservations about this approach. Be that as it may, the Mori are now nearly worthless. This is problematic because the Ebony Memento Mori has been costing us as an Ultra-Rare Offering. My Brown Offerings are now more helpful. I respectfully suggest that we be allowed to sell them back at the cost we paid for them so we can make more reasonable purchases.
- This would take the sting out of the change.
- The people who want to keep them can.
- It would be equitable and the right thing to do.
I'm not asking for free Shards or Auric Cells. I don't want anything I didn't earn in the game. I just would like to be able to purchase something else in the Blood Web that I might use. How about it DEV? Surely this is not an unreasonable suggestion?
unlike everyone else i like how this is a reasonable request and not just i hate the new update post

i do not like that they changed mori's again, AGAIN. with all the survivor perks they should just make it so after they get unhooked once they can no longer be killed for the rest of the trial. Devs always just listen to complaining survivors who suck at the game.
@Peanits ruining the killer experience with every patch. Man i was excited about that patch notes list until i saw that addition. Next they gonna take Mori's out completely cuz survivors dont wanna die in dead by daylight.
I personally wanted different Mori's for the different killers
if you need a mori to win your games you don't need to be playing

I never complained about Moris. I complained about keys. It feels like my complaints are being ignored while other (survivor) complaints are being listened to. And thats the thing. Its how this change makes me feel, not what the devs may or may not be trying to do it. Its about perception, and my perception is that currently survivors are being favored.
your one in thousands of people they went for the easy one to fix first and the one people wanted and complain about the most
-
@Vetrathene said:
Because right now your literally proving you favor survivors over killers. Its the most solid proof you have ever given.
give them a break alot of people complaind about the moris now that they fixed them you complain about them not fixing keys

@HellDescent said:
And it's great, don't get me wrong. Every survivor is gonna start running keys, because they know the keys are next. Good job Bhvr. You have really learned a lot from the time you changed insta-heals.

Hey guys! So I went against a tuft of hair + tombstone myers and have about two gens left with only me and this other survivor alive. I found a skeleton key in a chest and I decided to wait by the hatch until the other survivor found me and she did! We both escaped, but the killer cussed us out for bringing a key and that we all should've died. Am I the bad guy in this situation or ?
they need to make it to ware only the one the uses the key can take the hatch

@Almo said:
This requirement will stay. There are things we don't want, like someone going into dying state due to a Bear Trap with Honing Stone triggering stuff like Surge. The alternative to the basic attack requirement is making exceptions. For example we could say Surge works for Demo Shred, but not Trapper BT/HS. Now every time we add a new Killer, we potentially have to through and update every perk with these exceptions. It's just not a maintainable design with the vast amount of perk/addon/power combinations available.
Since every Killer can basic attack, we can create the perk, and know exactly how it works with every Killer without having to check a ton of different interactions. If this means some perks don't work well given some Killers' powers, then that's just the way of it. Not every perk is exactly as useful on one Killer as it is on the others. Learning to choose your perks well to synergize with your chosen Killer is one of the important skills in DbD.
I have heard it said that this answer means we're "lazy"... that we're not willing to "do things that take work". Whole programming languages and paradigms have been based around preventing the same thing in code as we're trying to prevent in design with this strategy. You don't want a ball of yarn of a design where tugging on any little thing pulls a whole ton of others.
In a game as complex as DbD, there will necessarily be some of that. But minimizing it through smart design is still a worthwhile endeavor.

Yes, they do. Why should we care about the rewards for the coming weeks if they're not better than the rewards we got the first week? Given the nature of the OP, it wouldn't be worth talking about if it weren't the case. Ergo, it's implied the coming weeks will have better rewards.
btw there free rewards why complain if your not paying for them

I have a full time job but DBD is a game I enjoy in my spare time, and I have an opinion about the event. How does that mean I don’t do much for a living? Is it just video games I’m not allowed to complain about, or would complaining about movies, books or my local gym also mean I must be unemployed? Lmao.
dont complain

Yeah, it’ll add up to less than 300,000 bloodpoints. Definitely worth logging in every day for an amount that will buy you like 6 bloodwebs, lol.
no one is asking you to login

@[Deleted User] said:

Actually, given the trend, Next week will be the same as this week in terms of bloodpoints, and Shards will be halved again to 250, and there will be a new store deal. And during Christmas week Shards will be halved again to 125, with perhaps another store deal.
So, basically, the Daily login rewards are pointless, just check and see if the Store Deals are any good, and login to enter any codes.
I don't actually understand why they had 1000 Shards the first week, and 500 the next. You would expect and increase over-time. Had it been 500, then 1000, yeah sure. Otherwise it's like "Awesome sauce, next weeks rewards are less than this weeks, I totally want to login for that!"
Don't get me wrong, I understand the significance of "Hey, check out these store deals!", but that's not a substitute for Login rewards.
(Keep in mind that I don't really care any which way, just in terms of execution it's a bit odd).
im fine with that
