Map balance and then killer balances. Maps are what make it straight up unfair sometimes when trying to pressure survivors, it is why the splitting up on generator strategy is so effective.
Once the maps are much more balanced, then they could work on the killer powers themselves including addon passes. The game would feel much more balanced. Some can be nerfed or changed and others buffed.
Perks should then be next.

Fix Blight's camera being Yoda's height. This is just for the basic functionality of the character.
Survivor Hair physics are still completely silly sometimes.
blight will be patched in the next chapter if i remember correctly

Earlier I had almost a quarter of the wiggle bar left and was about to be the last hook for a dude when suddenly I stunned him, broke free, nabbed the hatch right near the hook lmfao... but he only got me with a swing 2 or 3 feet from behind the shack window as I already had half a sec and a few feet running ON A TURN so it was a bs hit anyways so I took the hatch and lol'd. I was gonna dc if I didn't wiggle out in time since he didn't deserve that hook. That dude is really gonna ruin his mmr, and have a rude awakening, once those hitboxes are fixed and he starts getting wrecked so bad he probably will up and quit.
The clip you showed, I would have been so mad I'd have closed the app before you could even pick me up on ps5 homescreening asap or hit alt+f4 on my steam and called it a night until I picked up the next day's log in bp lol
I didn't pick her up because i felt bad for this bs hit and tbh before i hit her i was wondering if i should let her break free or not, I went for the hit

I think it would become a great perk imo. It has its uses, it's not broken at all and it's fun to equip!!
Couldn't be more happy with it, I hope it stays very similar if not this exact version.
i want this change to go live tbh, i love this rework

I adore exhaustion add-ons, why is it wrong to take away 1 survivor perk when they can remove all or ours and even counter our own powers?

Yeah, that's not the flashlight 360 I was expecting to see. This is straight up exploiting/cheating.
totally, looks like some body placement/animation exploit that gives a speed boost to move them back where they should be or something

People who play like that are literally the lowest of scum. If I'm playing killer and I see someone trying to kill a team mate I'll make sure to face camp them, hit them on hook until they die, and let everyone else escape.
I do that too, when a dying survivor place themself under a hook i literally stay there until they move and i pick them up and i facecamp them, when a survivor sandbag with a pallet i usually let the other one go and focus all the way to the other one
-
time for me to stop doing that then haha

Yes. Working with a survivor to kill another survivor is bannable.
for the survivor or the killer or both?

Survivors run at 4 m/s.
110% killers like Huntress, Hag, and Deathslinger run at 4.4 m/s.
most of the rest run at 115% which is 4.6 m/s.
For more context, Legion in Frenzy runs at 5.2 m/s which is 130%.
Even if Survivors ran at 5 m/s (which they don't), your numbers would still be wrong because a 110% Killer would be running at 5.5 m/s.
That said, if all that happened is you getting confused about how fast Survivors run, then he sounds reasonable as a 110% or 4.4 m/s Killer.
well i confused myself and edited it properly, i meant from the start 4.4 but i typed 5.4, my bad

TL:DR
I always thought Stefano would make a good killer. He could set camera traps that would time stop the survivors. His mori can leave an after image of the mori playing in a loop like in the game.
I did think about it as well, he definitely would be a great killer as well, but I went with Ruvik

I swear I hate that girl with a passion. Her boss fight in part 2 is so annoying. She creep me out too much too.
well tbh it's so easy, you freeze or shock her twice and burn her 2 times, can be done in like a minute

So... like... you've got this guy being a 135% movespeed killer with a 24m terror radius, when the standard is 115% with 32m terror radius. That's kind of crazy base stats alone... but I don't really see any sort of downside to balance that out.
Am I missing something?
what do you mean 135%?????? i said 5.4 so it's 110%
-
@Exerlin said:
omg those perks are all super cool
One issue though: Losing Our Mind is wack as hell. I love the idea of perks that have a big upside and a big downside, but movement speed is nothing to throw around willy-nilly. With your current iteration of the perk, the survivor will be moving at 107% a little over half the game. Screaming every 45 seconds is simply not a big enough downside to compensate. However, a shorter speed boost would be more fair. Perhaps a 5 second 7% speed boost whenever they scream every 45 seconds would be better.
Also, maybe remove the repair speed from "Learn From Experience" and also get rid of the loss of all tokens upon hook? That way it's a nifty build-up perk like Fire Up, but for survivors!
glad you like it
learn from experience is a perk that reward you greatly for taking risks, and the more you take the better results you'll have from it, since it will give repair speed buff, it will give a reason for survivors to run it since it will help them to get out of their way to make the main objective faster afterwards

It’s triggerd by the scream itself so it’s a risk vs reward perk as it could sell you out while hiding near the killer any moment
that is the point, you can either have no effect from it and know you are safe from the killer or make it trigger while you hide and you are spotted or have it in chase and have a easier time to loop, or maybe i should make it it won't trigger in chase,

i mean, it's possible. she marks a survivor to be the current victim, not visible to or can see anybody else. on last hook, turns them to a lost and uses them. just a thought. could be cool as #########
in fact, she has a lost that finds a survivor for her. the survivors attempt to hide from this lost. if they get detected, it will be through killer instinct, and anima if in close range can attempt an attack and that's how she marks her survivors as victims. survivors who are near the lost will play a tense music signaling them to cower and hide, and survivors who are close to anima will hear the clair de lune chanting. i haven't thought about how her power once she actually marks a victim, and what can she do if she hasn't marked a victim yet, but this is a start
that could be interesting

Hrmmm your forgetting people could abuse losing our minds by combo with calm spirit so they get aura reading without the drawback of being seen lol OOO
i already answered this but it has to me checked by a mod so i'll reply a second time
calm spirit will prevent the survivor to scream so since the survivor can't scream, losing our mind can't trigger, so you won't ever have the effect, like with no mither, inner strength will never work
-
@[Deleted User] said:
what about anima?
all we do from her is hide and seek the 3 times, she could be a spirit skin tho
-
@redsopine00 said:

that's a good thing you've mentionned that.
but since he can't scream because of calm spirit, he can't scream to make the perk trigger, so calm spirit make this perk unusable, like no mither make any healing perks useless

Probably because they have to hunt for a totem against what suddenly becomes the most dangerous stealth killer in the game.
And also Otz mega popularised that build, so it's probably getting really common.
I didn't know he did, i've been using this build for like a year, never changed it
and yes, ghostface with devour is most definitely the deadliest killer

@Saltjar34 said:
Maybe they got that glitched totem spawn that made it impossible to cleanse? That or it could be because they dropped Detective's Hunch or Small Game thinking the totem meta is over
i often check where my totems are and often it's like this
most of the time they are just behind a rock or a tree, I never saw them into a spot where survivors can't clease them (personally)
totem meta will never be over.

The purpose of playing is to accumulate Bloodpoints, which we use to level up our survivors and get new perks, items and offerings. So if that’s the main purpose of our games, why is there a perk to make survivors drop their items?
Franklins Demise is a perk for players who are scared of survivors having items, nothing more. It rewards killers for playing poorly, if you can’t find a way to counter play keys, med-kits etc etc then I’m sorry, but you need to get good. I no longer bring items into my games, because whenever I do, the killer decides to bring FD. I’ve been playing for maybe 7 hours today, and I’ve played against nearly 13 killers that used this perk, across various (although dominantly red) ranks.
When will the developers nerf this perk? At the very least, you should be able to keep your item, but lose a certain amount of charges, or lose the ability to use it for a duration of time. That would be preferable to losing it all together. If killers can have power add-ons that survivors can’t counterplay, Iridescent Head and Tombstone for example, why can killers do that to us?
Thoughts on this vile perk?
don't get hit

@gendoss said:
This is an honest question to all killer mains out there. How do you justify playing as killers or using builds you hate to go against as a survivor? I don't play killer very much but whenever I do I always feel bad playing killers like that. I despise going against killers like legion and deathslinger with builds like ruin and undying, but find their gameplay really fun as a killer. As a survivor main I feel empathy for the survivors I play against and can almost feel the groans as I load in as legion or clown. So how do you guys deal with that feeling or what do you tell yourself to justify it, because I feel like i'm being contradictory when I do that.
i personally have no killer build that i hate to see, I don't complain about killer builds, I do complain about survivor builds however and no i am not double standards, i don't run survivor builds i totally hate, and the only time i'd run DS ever is if i also run deliverance to make clutch saves at the end game and that's the main point of the build, not to be untouchable and get back up with unbrakable

This feels like one of those perks that would either be extremely weak or blatantly overpowered with no middle ground.
5% isn't that big of a deal, it helps that for sure but it's not comparable to pwyf with 2-3 stacks

2 pages of players saying it's broken. Tons of tweets stating the same feedback, many videos to show proofs and you know what ? It is still here :).
Yes, only survivors are impacted by the hit validation. As a killer there is clearly no difference.
i can tell sometimes i don't hit when i should have, it sometimes happens on the killer side as well, but it's harder to notice

No grass sounds is actually a HUGE issue because it removes an incredibly important source of tracking.
Like,i've already found so many survivors trying to hide just because they were slightly moving in the grass. But that's not possibly anymore
totally agree and have lots of experience in that aspect as well, the fact they can hide behind a tree or else and move without a single sound, it realaly affect killers hard

the old grass always had sound and I don't remember it once being bugged personally, but the new grass always been bugged and never ever made sound, i made 1 report about it the other day and made 3 just today on the ptb, 2 were bugs and 1 was the grass, grass was made first, the other 2 came after, both bugs got acknowledged but the grass is still at pending, so is the other one i made, @Almo why ignore the grass sound?
