  • NegaBond: view permanently the auras of your opponents in 36 meter radius 😏

  • On killer side, everyone knows the answer: because of the ***** nurse!

Imagine how fun starstruck / i'm all ears / (10+ perks) could be if this ass killer did not exist!

Delete nurse, then huge buff for all fun perks, tia :)

  • As a trapper main, yeah I remember these cocky guys :)

Their killrate was 90+% ... even if I had to sacrifice the game at some point: "you decided to bring this ######### in my game, well, you will not escape. deal with it, period!"

  • ######### perk against decent players ... but can be funny in meme build, e.g. nice synergy with tinkerer for easy and fun grabs on gens in indoor maps

  • This is official DbD forum ... sorry, but positive comments are not allowed xD

  • RPD!

My tolerance is 1 game per day on this map without offering. With an RPD offering from either survivor or killer, it is a systematic alt+f4 during the loading time.

You will not force me to play on this utterly ######### map

  • Hmmm ... where are the lovely white fences that added so much fun and survivor-killer interactions in the game?

  • I also think there is something wrong with this challenge (maybe just decrease the required number or remove the single game restriction)

I played several games with optimal killers to get benefits from the blood echo perk (a.k.a Plague or Legion)

I had very long games with most people being injured whole game, quick downs between hooks (during blood echo activation period), lots of hooks (10+) … many attempts of the same kind.

In other words, I should have downed injured blood-echo-related exhausted people lots of times in each game.

I unlocked 90+% challenges over all tomes/levels … still stuck with this one lol

  • You can win 95% games by slugging and maybe gaining 4k additional BPs while extending the game by 5 to 15 ass boring minutes.

    1) In other words, do the maths:how many "BPs per minute" can you gain during the regular game

    2) how many additional "BPs per minute" can you gain during the "extended period you desire so much a.k.a slug for the 4k" ?

With instant queues on killer side, you can almost play 2 full games, each being 20-25+k * 2 BPs with BBQ (assuming you win games; that was already the case at the slugging moment in the 1st game).

Then the same people, who ask for 20+ minutes games, will complain on forums that the grind is too much KEKW

    Besides:

    1) Killers will find hatch more often than survivors (better movement speed, the survivor may be already injured lowering his chance to find it, ...)

    2) Once hatch is closed, killers win more often the exit gate scenario (exit gates in front of each other or with line of sight, No Way Out, ...)

Finally, if you really want a 4k on regular basi: just equip the "No Way Out" perk. If the survivor manages to open one exit door despite NWO alert ... you just ######### up somewhere :)

  • They should add a quick fix (while waiting for more deep rework of AI algorithm): just auto-respawn/auto-kill zombies if they are not moving on the map for given period of time. Besides, they already have the routine for the spawns on the hooks.

  • Some killers do this since 2016, especially trappers/hags for obvious reasons and some pre-reworked doctors with the former passive madness feature.

This gameplay is boring as ######### (slow pace, often 20+ mins game) and relies on the attrition from survivor side. For instance, it will be very efficient against injured survivors who can't heal themselves. You got it, this strategy has been really impaired - like the hit and run strategy - by the CoH boon perk.

Finally, this strategy will only be efficient if 1 or 2 survivors are already dead (or alive morons that refuse to do gens for some reasons - common in soloQ)

In a word, it may backfire if the killer does this from start :)

  • Spirit - The Easiest

    1) Equip the purple blossom addon

    2) Press M2 and walk in some random direction

    3) Wait for the killer instinct to trigger

    4) *** Be careful, now is the most tricky stage ***, unpress M2 and quickly press M1

    5) Profit.

    6) Rinse and Repeat

This stupid add-on is so dummmmmmmb, period!

  • I would make NOED lighting up 2 remaining dull totems (or only 1, if survivors have broken 4 of them, unlucky!).

Only 1 totem must be cleansed to disable the perk (obviously).

This small change would just prevent cheesy scenarii where the hooked guy is quite close to the lit totem, destroying any fun late-game stage.

  • Not really tbh

Ngl, this map was quite original ... but the gameplay was awful because of the single existence of bloodlust mechanism -> tier F map just for this.

But there is something that pisses me off: less realms/maps in the rotation pool = more chance to get Midwich or RPD, damned!

  • P3 Quentin with flashlights will click-click 95% time, this is from huge statistically relevant pool lol

  • Trickster is almost OP from 1vs1 POV with mouse on several realms (full of t- and low walls, usually killer-sided maps) and blatantly useless as ######### on other realms (tall walls, often survivor-sided maps). Trickster is the definition of a really badly designed killer / power and should be reworked from scatch.

  • COH could be slightly reworked (e.g. defined max cap healing speed) ... but the potential need to destroy all 5 totems on indoor maps to remove either Ruin or Devour is not comparable in any way to current boons.

  • Trapper: "I may lose the game ... but I swear ... you will step in this **** god-like trap that nobody knows"

  • I would be ok for that fast move ability if Jill could use a rocket launcher (after being in closet for more than 3 seconds to loot it)

  • No, this map must stay a 0.5/10 from both gameplay and design points of view

A complete failure should not be modified, unless reworked from scratch

  • I would say: Huntress, Blight and Nemesis (NA East)

  • Bubble is the best killer to create Christmas Enti-tree with 4 beautiful and suffering ornaments ... I have seen lots of Bubba lately xD

  • My go-to build for solo games:

    • Swiss-army pocket knife Bond to know where my teammates are (global info, plan/coordinate saves, avoiding areas where people are working on gens when I'm chased, prevent 3 gen situation ...)
    • Iron Will, just great perk in both solos and swfs
    • BT to be able to save in good conditions on a regular basis
    • 4th slot depends on mood:
    • Boon:Healing to be able to quickly heal myself (+++)
    • Detect Hunch: find hex totems/chests and prevent 3 gen situation (+++)
    • Sprint Burst or Dead Hard (++)

  • As a 2016 player, I still can't forget the **** Adrenawin feature when I played on the Killer side :P

The other utterly annoying perk from killer POV is obviously Dead Hard

As a survivor, I really hate:

    • Tinkerer
    • Ruin
    • Ranchor/NOED
  • Nurse is the single killer in DbD that could be easily (* the most important word of the sentence *) played by an AI with absurd efficiency

This killer can't be balanced in a game where one side can mainly use stealth + pallets + windows, while this killer can basically teleport everywhere.

She still is fun to play as and vs on a regular basis ... because most of players are just not so great with her. She is utterly unbalanced as soon you add great muscle memory experience + add-ons + strong regression/detection perks.

    This is just basic logic!

  • Cheryl & Ace, period! xD

  • Trapper main since beta xD

I also enjoy playing Legion and Mrs Piggy

The highest tier killer I regularly play is DemoPuppy lol

I am so bored with Nurse, Hag, ...

  • @GrimReaperJr1232 said:

Nurse is an artifact of Old DBD. She was essentially the killer solution to some of the most absurd set ups, true infinites, old DS, etc. None of that mattered because they had Nurse.

As the game changed, Nurse remained. Like it or not, her age has more or less led to her gaining a general acceptance status among the community despite her power completely disregarding most of the base game mechanics. The devs are essentially stuck; they can't change Nurse because the community outcry will be severe (just look at her last nerf), so the only thing they can do is make her absolutely brutal to play/learn.

You perfectly worded what I wanted to say.

About the devs being stuck with this utterly broken killer: why the hell did they maintain range/recharge speed add-ons after the rework. These add-ons basically create the old nurse they wanted to rebalance: e.g., you barely need to manage your blinks with these add-ons.

  • I almost agree: I AM GOING TO STOP PLAYING THIS GAME BC OF BOOMERS. Damn boomers!

  • I can't even reach the title stage. Black screen for minutes after the EAC check: "DbD.exe not responding" ... I do not even see the typical "Press Space" message.

This is the first time since 2016 I have this weird issue!

/Edit: discord seems to cause this issue (maybe a bug with its overlay)

  • Hag Hag Hag, most reasons were already described. This killer coud have killed DbD back in the days if she had been more popular.

  • STBFL!

Otherwise, Enduring is very nice and BS looks like little QoL to me.

  • Fun perk combo to have good laugh

    • Mad grit / Agi or Agi / Starstruk with most M1 killers (best with Demo or Pig for the fun sound)
    • I'm all ears with PHead / Demo or Nurse
    • Ranchor + obs-changing perks like Nemesis or Furtive Chase
    • ...
  • Legion

He looks like dull teenager. I' m pretty sure I could kick his ass irl xD

Hag ... but I reckon I can be biased here, just because I hate this killer so much!

  • If you don't like RUT/RPT-based builds, you can be interested about these ones:

SRBG is a perk roulette tool for 'Dead by Daylight' (DbD) game. It includes an overlay widget and can generate both useful and pure random builds using varied features and constraints. - Sm...

This is a direct link to a large uploaded png picture.

These builds were my strong goto builds for each killer (Nemesis release date), mainly with Corrupt+Pop as slowdowns perks (I hate Ruin/Tinkerer from both Killer and Survivor point of views).

However, I tend to play more lately with Pop->Surge (or Pop->Deadlock) with most M1 killers.

It is obviously less strong, but I'm too lazy to kick gens xD

  • Unlucky, their game just crashed during loading when you used RPD/Hawkins/Midwhich offering ... Most important word from previous sentence was "U N L U C K Y".

And you can't prove they alt+f4'ed since streamers would typically say "ohhhh no my game just crashed, this is so saaaaaaad" in this case!

By the way, devs will never add a penalty for the loading crash moment ... deal with it!

  • Bubba with Hex Plaything is very fun

Demo or Phead with I'm all Ears

    Myers with M&A

    ...

  • Hag, the single killer where you need specific item to counter his power + built-in camping + no-chases + busted add-ons + ...

No killer can't be more stupidly designed than the ######### hag!

Except the game is already survivor sided.

And fixing one thing being broken by saying something else should be broken is stupid

Re-read my comment again. I never said I wanted this ... I even used the term BS for the both sides ;)

  • I would say infinite healing / unbreakable (several boon perks for instance) while the totem still is lit. Killer had their BS/OP stuff with Ruin, I expect the same BS/OP stuff with the new boon totem mechanism for the survivor side now.

  • I reckon devs use some kind of chess ELO-rating: good metric for SBMM .... but with very high "K-factor", so the MMR-value changes can be very wide after each game.

    From my experience:

I faced one RUT blight with about 20h that was clearly boosted by his perks and who mainly used his power to travel the map when tinkerer triggered. In the end-game chat, he said he easily won 10+ games in a row. I reckon his MMR value got quite high and very fast, despite only few DbD experience, and then he faced me, one other solo and one SWF-duo with 3k average hours.

Same when you badly lose a game as survivor (e.g. facecamp to death and you ######### up your single chase at the beginning of the game): the next game can be with a really inexperienced killer ... just like your MMR value was decreased a lot.

If the SBMM works as intended, these both examples reinforce my original hypothesis about K-factor.

  • 45 kg petite woman vs tall badass man, both of them having traps ... well, the pig will not win!

  • Aces, Cheryls and Neas are usually better than the average survivor from my experience

  • I never use hex and endgame perks, even if they can be very strong

Similarly, I never equip dead hard on survivor side!

  • Nurse with IF, strong 1 shot killers (Billy or Oni) with IF, default Hag (she does not need special perks tbh) ... and surprisingly, I would also add STBFL+IF Trapper in this snowball potential list oOo

  • With MMR on, strong solos could be in theory be matched together ... and they can be even better than voice-com SWFs using game experience, common sense and perks (e.g.; Bond, Kindred, ...)

For instance, they will not care much about each other at the end of the trial, where killers usually gain additional kills by taking advantage of the over-altruistic typical behavior of SWFs

Finally, BHVR will never add such kind of option for obvious reasons!

  • Sweaty 3+ slowdowns tier-A/S killers, that are decent with the killer power, will finally only face their equivalent survivors (also true for sweaty genrush 3/4 mans with toolboxes & other BS stuff)

Finally, a different ranking for each killer, allowing to play and learn additional killers without being stomped the first games

Well, if it works as intended ... I am fine with that :)
