It's frickin' sweet! I love the power as well. The menu looks like something out of DBD too.

Clearly you have never heard of the perk "No Mither". It's OP as hell
Infinite Unbreakable, Lucky Break, and Tier 1 Iron Will all in one perk? Now that's what I'm talkin' about!

Considering sets shouldn't even exist in the first place... yeah, we should.
Sets are kinda necessary for skins like the Greek Clown one. I really like the weapon from that set tho which is why I wish it was unlocked. I don't really get why the Pyramid Head outfits are locked though.
-
Let's see...
Trapper has heavy snowball potential if you know where to place his traps.
Twins is nowhere near weak.
Demo is powerful in the right hands coming from someone who plays it a lot.
Plague is also nowhere near weak.
Wraith is actually kinda good if you know how to play him.
Clown is too controversial so we'll skip the big guy.
And Pig can actually slow down the game heavily despite her mediocre kit.
Legion is, well, something compared to the others. Their power rarely ever works, and when it does, you'll still have trouble catching survivors because you're nothing but an M1 killer after you use your frenzy on them. If I wanted a killer that could instantly down all survivors the way Legion can, I would choose Myers. At least he has faster vault speed in tier 3 and a slightly bigger lunge. Legion might have those in Feral Frenzy, but can they use them to down survivors quickly? Nope.

And IF they cleanse - will they do it in a random corner where you can't go unless you want to lose gens ?
Exactly :P
-
Plague takes no skill my balls. It's actually difficult to play as her against survivors that know what they're doing. The team you're going against is unpredictable. Will they cleanse, or will they play risky and smart?

oh

I hope it's just a joke. If not then as long as the devs are working on making the update better then I'm fine with it being delayed.
-
LEGION REWORK WOOOO
-
My best guess for the killer getting the rework treatment in the next mid-chapter is either Demogorgon or Myers. I'm not really looking forward to a Demogorgon change because I think they're balanced already, but I'm hoping for a Myers change. Also perk changes sound fun, the OoO rework is gonna be exciting!
-
Not sure what insane person would pay 100 bucks to instantly complete the rift. Anyways, it's a bad idea to buy tiers from the auric cells you get from the premium rift because if you complete the rift, you should have enough auric cells to buy the next rift and so on so forth.

Always great to see anotha' Yui main coming in.
-
The ultimate counter to Dream Pallets: Just don't use pallets at all :DDDDDDDDD
I found Any Means Necessary to be a useful perk for countering them though, once it charges up you can drop a pallet. If it's fake, then good! If it's real, then oops, but don't worry, I can pick it back up!
-
Oi, welcome to the Yui club!
-
I guess for early-game slowdown. It's not that bad, but I prefer Corrupt and Pop because at least I'd still be able to use Pop while the game is being slowed down.
-
Basement Billy is the biggest meme of all time.

Most likely will arrive in two days (this Tuesday) at 8 AM PST.
-
Both.
-
Will be this Tuesday, 8 AM PT. If not then definitely next week, but updates usually come out 3 weeks after the PTB so yeah.

Generally they will hit it most of the time, some survivors if they expect a trap like that, usually only really good ones, they will let go and then press move again again to make themselves dodge it midair. Most folks don't though and either hold W or just let go entirely.
This applies to almost every drop down trap. However traps have a slight vacuum to them too so it's not always enough. You have to kinda figure out of they are the really good players who are going to do that or not, and you can kinda adjust the trap a bit to snag them if they try that.

He has some good out door ones too, don't underestimate the power of tall grass and bushes, the macmillian maps can be really good for example.
Also, the new game map is indoor and it can still really suck, your traps stand out an awful lot and they have too many god pallets for you to deal with even with traps usually.
You can pull some interesting stuff off down stairs though, and in a few spots.
I really REALLY like midwich though; your default traps camo so well into much of the map, and it has a lot of narrow passages.
Thanks for the tips!
-
Yep, still possible! HOWEVER, the custom icons no longer work during games in the current patch. Turns out this was a bug though, and the bug should be fixed in the next update!
-
Hawkins as Trapper is pretty fun. I like to put a trap under the hole from upstairs and when a survivor falls down they get trapped. Sometimes it doesn't work if they dodge it while falling, but when it does it's pretty #########' funny.
-
The tear of joy...
...when I'm on death hook and the other survivors manage to escape.
-
O h . . .
-
This would be pretty fun but I'm not sure if it'll be healthy for solo queue. Maybe it could a feature that can be toggled in KYF (custom games)?
-
Yeah, I wanted to see an outfit of Clown wearing a party hat with a birthday cake backpack that has fire effects :(
-
Unmasked Oni do be lookin' pretty cool tho
-
I like running Forced Penance on Legion so this is a great change.
-
Use Ruin, it's a powerful perk. Ruin staying up for 2 minutes is actually not bad. Applying pressure gets you the most out of Ruin. Thanatophobia isn't that good unless you're playing Legion or Blight or something.
-
Oh hey Sluzzy posted, wonder what it is-

Right so, the issues I have with these.
Nurse, you've made her a glorified blight. Not even. At least blight can change direction 5 times. This is way too much and her whole kit and baboodle was that she could work against loops. So she would need more of a buff than 4.4 m/s to compensate. Maybe make it so if you dash through someone they get hit (but instant fatigue, and can hit multiple people).
Hag- you've just nerfed her. There is counterplay (crouching) but the wipe away would be ok. However there needs to be a buff to encompass this. Maybe more traps base? Or an affect applies whenever you trigger them?
The balance changes are thought up by people in this thread, not by OP.

This sounds fun my turn here’s 2 killers I have in my head
.The Hillbilly
Reworked the overheat mechanic so it only works while reving. When you rev the chainsaw it starts to overheat but when you start sprinting it resets back to 0 the overheat. This is made to prevent camping so when you rev for long periods of time you will overheat.
.The Twins
-Fixed Victors camping strat so if Victor is within 8 meters of a hooked survivor he dies instantly while idle.
-While playing as Victor press the action button to instantly teleport Charlotte to Victors exact location. This is made to reduce tunneling.
Okay, that idea for Billy is wayyy better than the idea I had. Makes more sense too.
-
Huntress, Plague, and Deathslinger, the ranged trio. I have horrible aim, so if I'm gonna play a ranged killer I'll probably be playing Trickster. Yeah yeah I know, I'm weird.
I haven't really played Wraith but I am interested in playing him sometime, once I have the urge to level him up. So he doesn't count here.
Hag is just boring. I like chases, and Hag isn't a chase killer, so she's not my type.
I probably won't be playing Ghostface that much. I kinda regret leveling him up tbh
-
This thread deserves a revive, it'll be fun to share ideas of our lore headcanons!
I've always thought of teabagging and taunting is actually something the survivors canonically do in the Entity's realm. I know it sounds silly but it'd be fitting for Feng mostly, considering one of her cosmetics' descriptions has a quote saying "GG EZ." Maybe the killers could taunt every now and then. I could see Nurse, Doc, Freddy, Clown, GF, and Trickster sadistically taunting their victims after they down them.
-
me trying to read this
-
Sounds a bit too overpowered. The idea @MadLordJack has (3-5 seconds instead of 30 seconds) would be a great change to that idea though. The cooldown of Zanshin Tactics can stay.
-
It's somewhat of a buff to Trapper but a nerf at the same time. He REALLY needs more stuff added to his base-kit to make him stronger, then I'll enjoy the RNG mechanic fully.
-
Tbh that should be given to Calm Spirit instead.
-
While Hillbilly is a strong killer, I don't think he's as strong and fun as he used to be. Overheat REALLY messed him up badly, forcing you to use his mobility a lot less.
I think it's safe to say that Bubba is now the stronger chainsaw killer (in my opinion at least). He is a lot less addon-reliant compared to Billy, who really works best with Engravings or steering addons. Bubba's anti-loop is pretty damn good if you know how to use it. Combine that with Bamboozle, Spirit Fury, and Enduring, and you've become the anti-loop brute.

I guess I didn't put my point across well enough.
People say if you camp you have no skill, you're a bad player etc etc but all of the highest level players use these tactics because you have to. The game is unbalanced everyone knows that and at the high level you need to use every kind of strategy to win.
I'm fed up of survivors dictating what takes skill in this game. Camping 1 hook and you're terrible, meanwhile they hold W in every chase.
I played spirit with stridor because as expected it was a swf with 4 iron will. Apparently I'm terrible at the game, ok but these people all needed a perk thats nothing but "press E for another chance"? and they had iron will, think about that its just a perk that turns off sounds so killers can't hear you. These are common builds too and somehow one side has twisted the narrative so that having extra chance perks and disabling all sounds is high skill but anything on the killer side is bad? I won btw, which is funny because everyone says you're bad but they lose so what does that say.
Sometimes you need to play to your characters strengths. Imagine you're playing Bubba and you have a survivor in the basement in the Myers house and some other survivor starts tbagging, wanting you to chase them through the house of pain. Why on Earth would you take that bait? why should you put yourself in a situation that is a great advantage for the other side and throw away the great hand you have?
I'm just going to play as dirty as I want to be honest. Funny how it always ends up in disconnects though. I guess thats what happens when the developer coddles you for 4 years.
I mean you can play how you want, BHVR ain't stopping you. As long as you're having fun with the way you play.
I don't really get why you're upset that people told you camping/tunneling takes zero skill. But yeah I agree camping and tunneling are necessary at times.
-
Elodie is a mixture of a cutie and a hottie tbh (If Quentin's face were to be, y'know, fixed, he'd probably be in the middle of A tier)

Except for when it's obvious. If people can't see obvious things then
1: they can't be taken seriously in this world. (Like you so parent like attempted to tell me)
2:shouldn't be given any reason as it's silly that they can't see obvious things.
Do I need to provide proof and a debate as to the grass being green? Or the sky being blue? Should I explain those things to you as well?
- what
- what
As someone said here, I really hope you're just some edgy 12 year old instead of an obese jobless 29 year old typing all that #########.
-
Whoa, this sounds fun! I might edit this overtime if I get new ideas. This is a very creative post for people to share their balance change ideas!
HILLBILLY
- Overheat mechanic lives on, but in a different way. You can only overheat if you are within 12 meters of a hooked survivor. The chainsaw cools down when you leave the radius. It will still cool down while it is being used outside of the radius.
NIGHTMARE
- He can only teleport to generators each time a generator is completed, up to a maximum of 1 teleport. Teleportation tokens regained by consuming one, then gaining one once a generator is completed.
- His cooldown for Dream Projection is removed.
Decrease the snare's Hindered effect by 2.5% to 12.5%.Changed my mind on this one.- He is no longer able to cancel Dream Projection.
- If Freddy is running Dream Pallets, the ability to teleport to generators has a cooldown, but no requirement for generators being completed. You'll also be able to cancel his Dream Projection.
CHANGES TO HIS ADDONS
- Outdoor Rope, Jump Rope, and Swing Chains: These addons will no longer be able to stack with each other or with perks. Slowdown prioritizes on the higher action speed reduction. For example, if Thanatophobia reaches 20% in its penalty, it will NOT stack to 22% or 28%. These addons will also slightly decrease the time it takes for survivors to wake up (using Alarm Clocks or teammates).
Spirit
- Movement speed buffed from 110% to 115%
- Has a special ability called, uhh, you decide on that one. Switching to this ability is similar to how Clown swaps his bottles or how old Doc switches to treatment mode. Spirit cannot phase in her normal mode. Once she switches to her special ability, she is now able to phase like normally. Phasing can no longer be cancelled while charging it up, but you can let go of the button you used to charge up her power during a phase to cancel that phase. Just the usual. Phasing is the same as it was before, however, a sound plays to warn the survivor if she is phasing. Probably glass related, idk.
- After she is done phasing, she is brought back to her normal mode, and is given a cooldown until she can switch back to her other mode.
- In this new mode, her movement speed is decreased to 110%.
- She can still M1 in her new mode.
- She is no longer able to passive phase in her normal mode, HOWEVER, she passive phases by default in her special ability mode or whatever.
DEMOGORGON
- Increased movement speed when charging up Of the Abyss by 9% to a total of 99% (aka making Rat Liver basekit)
- Decreased the time it takes to place a portal to 0.5 seconds (aka making Rat Tail basekit)
CHANGES TO ITS ADDONS
- Rat Liver: Slightly increases the speed of charging up Of the Abyss
- Rat Tail: Slightly increases Shred's maximum distance
CHANGES TO ITS PERKS
- Cruel Limits: Your ties to the otherworldly manifest when your prey attempts to get away. Each time a Generator is repaired, all Windows, vault locations, and pallets within the killer's terror radius are blocked for all Survivors for the next 20/25/30 seconds.
-
C'mon Sluzzy, you didn't say hi to me when I replied to you with "hi" on a thread!
-
I'm down for a Freddy nerf but honestly I'd be fine with just his slowdown addons getting nerfed, those addons are BS. I'm gonna put my Freddy change ideas here:
- Remove his ability to cancel dream projections (aka teleporting to generators) so that he is forced to teleport if he chooses to.
- Make it so he can only teleport to generators each time a generator is completed. Makes him a better Demogorgon with the ability to cancel his teleports and teleport almost any time. His cooldown can be removed if he gets this feature.
- Decrease the snare's Hindered effect by 5% so that it's just 10%. It's crazy how Clown has only 4 bottles in his basekit while Freddy has 8 without needing to reload them.
- Change the Outdoor Rope, Jump Rope, and Swing Chains addons so they don't slow down the action speed of survivors.
- If Freddy is running Dream Pallets, the ability to teleport to generators has a cooldown, but no requirement for generators being completed. You'll also be able to cancel his dream projection.
-
Doc may be stronger, but IMO he isn't as fun as Clown is (to play as, at least).
-
Once the DS nerf comes out, this'll be a great change.
