Nurse mains are gods. Nurse players are dumpster fires.
That's her balance
-
I would like it if Killers had one liners when they downed Survivors. On rare occasion
-
My guess is maybe... but if the clouds mix at all they count as the same cloud so it would be really hard to pull off at any loop and mainly for map mobility

Popularity is intrinsically linked with accessibility. Making something more difficult will alienate players, even though the new bottle provides Clown with HUGE potential in chases.
I still don't see the point. If a Killer is strong and fun to play to their mains, who cares if they have a small playerbase?
Being lowkey OP with a smaller playerbase (like Nurse and Hag) is much better than being overrated for having a high playerbase and getting the nerf hammer (like Billy and Legion were).
-
I'm really not sure why it should matter if new players can use Clown.
The point of the rework is to make Clown more competitive at high levels not more popular.

I think that what they should add is a status effect that lasts the whole match when you use a perk like DS or Unbreakable, and all the status effect does is disable both of them. Maybe it only needs to be restricted to those two perks, or any future perk that have a similar "get out of jail free" card at play.
What if they caused a -5% hindered status for the rest of the game?
Gives a slight disadvantage at loops that would be minimal at low/mid tiers where the Killers are mediocre and the Survivors don't optimize loops. But extremely unappealing and costly at high tiers, where they really optimize loops and know their distances super well.

Thrill of the hunt doesn't show survivors aura, it slows cleanse speed and gives a noise notification.
I know undying is fine. But for people complaining about the aura reading aspect this is the simplest and fairest change you can make without making the perk useless.
My real question is why does Undying need Aura reading at all?
If it didn't have Aura reading, Ruin/Undying would be more risky and possibly need to be combined with Thrill of the Hunt to be reliable at high tiers. That seems like a good thing to me for the overall health of the game and viability of other Killer perks that are supposed to compete for slots.
-
Honestly, I think Retribution should be buffed to have Undying's current Aura reading on top of its existing effects.
And Undying shouldn't have Aura reading at all and should give the Survivors a map wide notification when it causes a Hex to respawn so everyone knows it's in play.
-
It gives the entire Survivor team a Hex: Undying notification when a totems respawns.
And the Aura reading is either removed or heavily nerfed to like 1-3 seconds

Why don't no one like the maps being dark? I think it's good as it helps promote a stealthy play style.
Because looping is better on both sides when you can actually see the loops. No one likes getting stuck on stuff

but isnt the whole point of legendary skins to change the character you play?
Trapper changes to Krampus, Oni to the Minotaurus and Cheryl changes to Lisa - gameplay wise they are still the same ofc, but canonically they are different people.
Ehh. The Devs don't take Legendary skins seriously they're just for money
-
@Mister_xD said:
wasnt Lisa Garland a nurse?
that would make it 1 - 1, unless we count Doctor as a "Healthcare worker" - which he really wasnt. i dont think he ever even made his Doctor title, its just a nickname he got from the captives he tortured to death...
Lisa isn't a Survivor. Until they give legendary skins their own nameplate on the campfire screen and at least one exclusive perk to unlock. It's just a skin and means nothing towards the actual survivor Cheryl
-
I just had a game against a Blight where I cleansed both Ruin and Undying in the first three minutes by myself, no totem tracking perks.
The game was over after that. Killers that don't have gen regression perks lose the game because of the current state of gen speeds.
-
@lagosta said:
Where's mah boy Doc?
Doc's power can help tremendously at loops. He doesn't play the same way as standard M1 Killers do.

Until you play killer
I do player Killer. And Survivor. At Rank 1.
Very few matches on either side feel like getting at least a neutral pip is out of reach. It’s actually pretty difficult to de-rank when you know what you’re doing and when to start farming points for damage control
-
Honestly, I’d be 100% fine with being run over by Daddy Myers
-
The only Survivor tier list that matters is one that ranks Survivors on how loud they are to the Killer. Because that can actually give you an advantage in game.
Because otherwise Survivors are basically just skins since you can unlock any teachables you want on them

With the buffed Mind Breaker, Blood Echo can be really devastating as you can basically lock survivors out of their exhaustion perks.
I've tried running that but you often end up getting gen rushed because its burning too many perk slots.
Plus, not as many Survivors run exhaustion perks as everyone thinks. In my head, I assume everyone is running Dead Hard, but on the endgame screen there's like one Sprint Burst and a tier 1 Balanced Landing

for number 4) i completely agree on Thanatophobia, but i dont think Add Ons are needed on Legion - extended Frenzy duration is nice, but you can also just learn the distance you can cover with your frenzy and when you can actually reach someone far away and when not - you can always cancel your power right after hitting the first guy, walk up to whoever you spotted far away and then reactivate your power there (only worth if you know there are multiple targets in that area ofc)
but yeah, if i had to recommend Add Ons, extended duration and faster power recovery speed (not stun duration, the ones that fill up your frenzy faster) would be the ones i'd recommend - i just dont think they are necessary.
My default Legion build is the yellow ruler with the brown sketchbook.
I don't see any reason not to run add-ons especially since most of Legion's best add-ons are yellow and brown so you can really stock up on them and run them every game. Having extra duration is good for my playstyle since I like to use Frenzy a little bit early and respect pallets so the extra second or two usually comes into play.
-
@WishIcouldmain said:
As a Legion main. Do you run Blood Echo? I've heard it is good on Legion and Plague.
Blood Echo is decent. I used it in place of Thanatophobia before the Ruin/Undying meta. But now that Thanatophobia also effects totem cleansing speeds... there's too much synergy not to run it.

Distortion has always hid scratch marks. It's part of the perk in its current version
-
@Aneurysm said:
If object is nerfed first, then yes
Distortion would work for five seconds, every sixty seconds.
Most Object players I see spend a lot more time than that staring at the Killer lol
-
The funny part is that not healing and spreading out is the play against a lot of killers unless you have a med-kit or are a very weak looper
-
Honestly, it's Joey. He seems like a good kid that got caught up the the wrong crowd. He's shown to be reluctant to kill people in the Legion's cutscene from the archives and his cosmetics hint at him being a troubled but well meaning person.
"The holidays always brought up the worst in him. To avoid the fake Christmas cheer with his single mom, he'd leave the house and cause trouble."
"The blade used by Joey as he attempted to cut himself free from the abomination Legion had become. Once he lost his control over Frank’s arm, his fate was set."
-
The correct answer is Kate, Tapp or Ace. They have a natural advantage because their sounds are quieter than others
-
You have to play Spirit to learn how to play against her. There are specific mindgames and predictions that you have to know in order to fake her out correctly
-
I main Legion and generally play unfun Killers. Something about sucking the happiness out of people brings me joy.
-
Not sure it would matter, because the amount of people that quickly climb to Red Ranks vs the amount of people who climb to Red Ranks slowly over time because of the Emblem mechanics
-
Stabbing four people in Frenzy. It's very satisfyingly
-
Honestly, they're both inconsistent Killer that heavily rely on slugging and snowballing. Personally, I would go for the Twins mainly because Plague interested me at first, but I got pretty bored with her.
-
It's really freaking hard to turn on Oni in his power. Just treat him sort of like Billy where you can sometimes juke the chainsaw with good spins and weird movement in general
-
Fun Fact. Tier 3 Botany Knowledge will allow you to heal twice with a plain yellow med-kit that has no add-ons.
-
@BattleCast said:
I have seen them... unfortunately.
At least we know they're doing ok. I was worried something happened to Victor
-
Honestly, I'd love to see a Killer with no power and base 120% movement speed.
All add-ons would give them stat buffs and downgrade them to 115% or 110% in exchange depending on how good they were to compensate.
-
An Obsession Perk, my choice is Blood Pact because it helps with finding heals. But anything works. You never want a game without an Obsession in solo queue.
-
I don't really like to sweat when I'm playing Killer. I just run the strongest build possible and pretty much go full autopilot mode for 4ks.
The only reason I play Killer is because one good Killer game can get 3-4 times more bloodpoints so I can level up new Survivors and Prestige faster. BBQ is pretty much guaranteed to get 4 stacks every game (aside from early DCs which are totally lame)

Yep.
What @gatsby meant to say was "What makes killers strong is having tactics specific to that killer that are effective".
Not really. I meant what I said lol.
Some Killers have mechanics that probably weren't part of their design and were popularized by their playerbase as alternative ways abuse the power's mechanics in ways the Devs didn't expect.
I highly doubt that the Devs thought things like "lets create a Killer with a power that is stronger at camping than anything else" or "lets create a Killer that can stand still and win chases" or "lets create a Killer that can crouch spam excessively to expose Survivors"

Look at their post history.
Almost looks like a history of nothing but bait.
Yes. With my two most recent posts such as
Which Survivors do you have Prestiged?
Remember to get the Cheryl sweater even if you don't have Cheryl
-
The sad part is that I'm pretty sure Overcharge is bugged and only causes 5% regression not the 15% that you would assume
-
@Caleegi said:
What a knob you are lmao. You decide its ok to camp survivors because it annoyed them so much that they DC'd and then decided it was ok because of their perks? its you kind of people who ruin the community for the players. Find better tactics.
@Retromind said:
And even with all those perks she still died because you decided to camp. Man, if you don't see any hypocrisy in your own post then I'm actually amazed.
It's "camping" because its Hag. I wasn't actually staying near the hook idk why people can't understand that lol

Wow. What a scumbag. Using good perks to try and win. What perks did you have OP?
Franklins, Third Seal, Undying and BBQ.

Blight is extremely strong when played well and extremely punishing when played badly. Nothing about his kit really gives him free value you have to work for it.

The problem with completly removing the aura reading is that Hex: Undying would do nothing on its own. I don't think the devs want that.
Open Handed exists. The Devs have done it before.
-
Personally, I would just remove the Aura reading. And give a Hex: Undying notification whenever a totem respawns. So we're pretty much on the same page. I feel like Undying steps on Thrill of the Hunt's toes too much

If there was a devotion cosmetic, it would have to be something generic across all characters. Kind of like the entity crown cosmetic.
And it should be legitimately hard to obtain like Devotion 10+

No Head On. Low quality meme.

I’d settle for Cheryl Legendary Skins changing her nameplate in the Lobby. But this is really cool too
