EVERYONE COULD GET JOJO POSES.
You have a great idea!

But Ash is cool, too. He has a puppet. Does anyone else have a puppet? No? Then that makes him the coolest by default! 🐇

@KaoMinerva Legion never really was "viable" or easy to win with. With the old one, you had to down some with your power in most cases. He's in a better state imo, though could use some improvements.

Now as endgame pig, I must use my RBT before they finish the last gen.
And thats pretty hard.
But I still think, both abilities should work in the complete match.
Because she need both abilities as scary killer.
And its not a good SAW feeling, if you escape with a RBT on your head.
And I think we should test endgame piggy in the ptb.
We still dont know, if she would be sooooo OP.
Maybe with some addons reworks/buffs.
I only use 2 addons, because the others addons are bad or only luck.
I've used all my traps before end game. They just don't seem to affect all that much, really. If you have detection perks, it can help you in finding where people are and patrolling gens can help find people, too. Going from one person to the next is so important with pressure, so it's something killers typically do, anyway.
Well as I was suggesting, Piggy would be the strongest end game character if her instruments weren't changed. No one else can hold people in the end game without a perk or someone on the hook/downed. People were marveling about how Piggy would have been the strongest end game before they heard the change and there's reason for that.
I'd say it'd be a better SAW feeling if the traps were a threat during the actual match instead of just end game. Not only is there more people to pressure than just one, but there's more things to pressure, too. It'd be more helpful.
-
Wait, they accused you of camping gens?
I had someone complain about taking too long to kill everyone and someone else complain about BBQ while running Distortion. Anyone who complains about perks are quite silly imo.

I think Frank's Mixtape should let you see scratchmarks and blood.
Pin add-ons would be broken as hell if you had to hit people only once, I think that's why devs made them that way, I think those add-ons should be speed increasers.
Everything else is great
@tt_ivi_99 Why do you think the pins would be broke if they could be used on the first hit?
-
@ShyN3ko 🐈️
Well, what's more than likely to happen is that you would get one before the gates open, so that would leave Blood Warden for when you get your second person by catching them trying to open the door, etc. You could also bring along Remember Me and make sure to kill the obsession before the end game. I was talking more of a perk build than a killer, though. Any killer can be an end game killer with the right perks. I don't think any of the other killers would have a strong end game effect, so I can understand why they would change that.
I think they've essentially made her helmets be a main game affect. So used to create pressure before the end game. I think that's what they're intending. She does need a buff to her traps if they're going to change that aspect of her, though, in my opinion.
If I say anything you don't understand, let me know by the way.
-
The end game was meant to create a tense ending to a long (or short) match. It isn't just to stop survivors from prolonging in the game, but to give a time frame for them to leave. It's essentially time management. Keep an eye on the bar and treat the survivor as a death if they keep getting caught and you wouldn't be able to make it out safely if you were to try for it.
Also here's a tip: Gideon Meat Plant has signs for both the stairs and the exits. Just follow the signs.
Making it feel more arbitrary and frustrating than fun and challenging.
There's plenty that's arbitrary and frustrating, though I wouldn't say this is one of them. Just work on your time management skills and follow the signs or look up to see where the doors are (you can typically see the doors while approaching them).

I hate Ruin.
I never take it, because I just hate it.
Btw my chases are rly short.
But 1 survivor need only 80 seconds for 1 gen.
So my chases must be 20-30 seconds and then they cant gen rush me.
But thats impossible, because the hit and hook animation.
And I want my endgame killer, because I liked it.
"Its not over,I still have my plan"
"Lets play a game"
Endgame pig was just a good feeling.
@ShyN3ko Is it the totem aspect you don't like? I believe the Plague had a perk that's helpful for keeping survivors off of certain gens at the start. Discordance is also very helpful in locating where the pressure is highest.
I heard someone suggest extending the timer while the killer is in an active chase once. I believe it was like every new chase would give survivors a debuff, that way chasing a survivor wouldn't be as restrictive. I'd be up for testing that out on the PTB, too.
I know people suggested slowing the timer for the end game collapse and instead they just removed the power. Does it still work if it goes off before end game starts? You can still technically have an end game build. NOED and Blood Warden are really strong together, for instance.

You can get it to activate on most killers, even plague or legion if you have decisive strike.
@PolarBear I've had a couple of matches as Legion where the MoM user got it off, so I left them. I both hit them and left them with the intent to return if I couldn't find someone if they chose to heal. One chose to heal, so I used FF to get a quick hit off to go find the people hiding. One chose not to heal. I downed them quite easily when I was patrolling the generators later on.

I still want my endgame killer.
Its was a little counter vs genrush.
Do you take in Ruin? Honestly that's typically enough to counter how fast gens get done. Otherwise it's all about pressure. Going from one to the next is important and knowing when to continue chase and how to take your loops are important, too.
Saying "I want an endgame killer" would be like saying "I want a hatch build" for survivor. I don't think it's good to go into a game, banking on everyone falling like flies and having to rely on that particular endgame. Same for killer. @ShyN3ko I forgot to @ you

She can still do this?
Ok not in the endgame.
But yeah, I agree with you.
We must test it in the PTB.
BTW, Freddy is a endgame killer.
Delete his ability in the endgame, too?
Yes, but she could do this before and I've seen people on the forums express concern over the pig just following around the trapped individual until the helmet goes off.
Freddy isn't really an endgame killer. His power is actually weakest endgame without the help of perks. His perks are endgame, but they did nerf his perks relating to endgame.

So what if he complains about teammates? He is complaining about NOED, BBQ, Plague, Devour Hope and even Nurse!!! If he just started playing survivor he should be rank 20-15, how the ######### are you facing good enough Nurses to come here and complain about her? He hasnt faced good enough Nurses to complain about her and even if he does complain about her he should know why she's like that.
@tt_ivi_99 Survivors aren't the only ones who depip and ranking has been crap recently. I've had games where everyone but me were yellow ranks (I'm green atm) while running solo and have had killers be both red and brown. Not everyone experiences things the same as you and immediately implying someone isn't as they say just because they say stuff you personally don't agree with doesn't help your case.

In my opinion the RBT doesnt work right.
I find the right key after ~1 min.
So in the endgame, I could escape.
But I dont know what the devs want.
The survivors stay in the match vs a endgame killer.
And then the survivors fail and 1 or 2 get on the hook.
The Pig made no mistakes, but she get punished for it.
I've had matches where I've found the key first try and matches where it was the last one searched @ShyN3ko It's far too random imo and I don't think the first searched should ever give the key. I also think survivors shouldn't see the aura when active too, though, and that that add-on should be changed to always hide the boxes so you actually have to look. I think we could try that to see how it goes in a PTB. C:
As for
The survivors stay in the match vs a endgame killer.
And then the survivors fail and 1 or 2 get on the hook.
The Pig made no mistakes, but she get punished for it.
I think the issue was that pressuring one person on the box is easy and everyone could just leave. She could follow a person around until their head blew up, essentially, which can be quite cheap. I'd honestly rather her just get a buff to her kit.
-
People are too quick to dismiss someone with ad-hominems. Maybe not a killer like you, but someone having a different perspective than you doesn't mean they're not a killer main. That's severely short sighted. Now to what OP said.
Ruin makes the game easier for killer when it actually works (which in games with randoms, it generally does). It's like DH for killer, though less to do with skill and more to do with luck. If your teammates don't work through ruin, either you need to do it or you need to find the totem. Being a killer main, I'm guessing you've used Ruin or totems and have a general idea of where they may spawn.
Nurse has her counters (stealth, walls), though she is really really strong and can be unfun to face.
Devour Hope can make matches super tense and it's a totem you can cleanse. The killer needs to hook multiple survivor/s before the perk becomes strong, too.
Moris suck. No points for everyone.
If there's NOED, either find the totem or leave. If the killer is hanging out by the survivor, don't feed them points or kills, please. It justifies this sort of behavior.
The corrupt plague is temporary and you can use walls to block it. If you go up and crouch next to a pallet, she won't get you most of the time. She needs to recharge to use it next, so use that chance to run. You can also deny all this by not cleansing. Huntress can also hit across the map. Plague can't.
A good counter to BBQ and Chill is knowing where's safe and where isn't. Know your loops and don't be afraid to run the killer if they do come over to you. You can certainly hide in a locker, but you don't need to every time. There's other counters, too, like faking a direction, getting close, etc.
Teammates generally suck, especially while solo. If it gives you any solace, most of the time the teammates doing nothing aren't pipping, either.

in Identity V, every player has an in-game profile where you can view things like survivor and killer rank, win rate, match history, match count, etc. it also displays "likes" which players can give to each other at the end of each match. it really wouldn't be a perfect system for dbd but at the very least it would encourage people to behave a little more.
@ekto I would like this sort of thing being implemented. Perhaps you could only like a user once? That way SWF wouldn't just spam like on their friends.

"Slow the EGC timer, if someone wears a RBT."
This would be fine. @fluffybunny
But delete a complete ability in endgame is just dumb.
Its like :"Trapper bear traps dont work in endgame, because people could die".
@ShyN3ko I believe the issue was that everyone could leave ('cause the timer's going down) and the killer had nothing to pressure but the boxes and the survivor only had the boxes to go for. It'd make the Pig the strongest in endgame by a long shot. She'd essentially have a kill, even if people did safe saves.
Honestly I think it'd be fine if they gave the traps buffs for in game use, like hiding the boxes until a gen goes off, making it harder to take it off first try. I believe how it works is that the boxes are chosen all at once, so it may have to be reworked to accomplish this.

Maybe check your attitude a little bit.

How do I make them up exactly? 100% of the game consists of 5 people, 4 (80%) are survivors, the remainder 1 (20%) is the killer. Then there comes variables such as people playing both sides. We have plenty of survivor mains, so that weighs that end of the scale, we have killer mains, which is naturally disproportionate to the amount of survivors needed at any given time, so that weighs that end, then you have survivors that dabble with killer on the side when they're bored but still primarily play survivor, which again, read the aforementioned. There is very little complex thought involved in this and I would love for aggregated data to become available that had these numbers just for the sake of proving a point. BHVR's stats team has shown that they have a hard time showing accurate aggregated data in general, so I'm not holding my breath
then you have survivors that dabble with killer on the side when they're bored but still primarily play survivor
You mean the people who play 50/50 or 30 survivor, 70 killer or do they not exist in your fantasy world @Raizinz You're not helping your argument saying stuff like this.
-
Drop them and down the person sabboing. Hook that person. They often put themselves in a place to get hit easily and making people pick up the person on the ground is still providing pressure. The hooks respawn, give it a few minutes. Otherwise take them to another hook if you can find another close run. Don't run in the direction of survivors, go the opposite. They won't be able to catch up unless they have a SB.
Also remember the lovely point that if they're sabboing, they're wasting time. If one-two people are busy sabboing, that means there's one-two people not doing gens. It really isn't that bad.

It's way better.
You could counter old DS by dribbling the survivor as any killer. The only way to counter MoM for sure is by playing instadown killers (minority of the cast btw) and even then the survivors can work around certain killers to get MoM working.
You also get free OoO, let's be honest here, nobody uses that perk to check the killer's location, It is used to make the killer chase you.
You also get free OoO, let's be honest here, nobody uses that perk to check the killer's location, It is used to make the killer chase you.
With OoO, you know where the killer's coming from. You know what the killer's doing. It isn't just to get people to chase you, but to watch the killer, too. To see what they're doing and to get a lead if they do decide to come for you so you can loop more before you have to throw a pallet.
Honestly it should be from the moment you get smacked, not when you heal. Or it lasts for the rest of the match. I would say I agree with people saying to get rid of the SB or at the very least give a BT affect so they have to waste time due to their free get away.
-
@Delfador said:
They will nerf it when enough survivors buy Ash to get the perk.
I am pretty sure that the devs knew what they were doing. This seems to be 100% business move to sell the Ash Vs. The Evil Dead chapter. This is not as strong as the old DS but a very close one.
@Delfador Isn't there quite a few people who got Ash 'cause they like Ash, though? I'm pretty sure the perk being adjusted or balanced wouldn't have affected that.
-
@Shad03 The power is good for locating people, pressure (especially if people are nearby), and to get the first hit off. I really wouldn't say it's useless, just not useful to follow and down someone with the stabs alone.
-
@Milo Either that or make the applied time longer. It's far too punishing to use the add-ons. I don't think a reduced timer would be too strong at all or having it apply to the first hit.

@Victory You misread him, he said killers cannot see WHAT ADD ONS survivors have on their boxes. We don't know if the 2-4 survivors joining our lobbies are running green/purple toolkits with the best stuff you can find plus plunders or ace perks to search gens for even better stuff. We don't know if someone on your team has botany knowledge with we'll make it and a green medkit with good ass add ons for a 3-4 second heal time and 5 full heals plus mettle of man, plus borrowed time on anyone. Sometimes its not even just 3-4 player swf that are trouble. A smaller swf can still be optimized with the randoms they're with.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/463680#Comment_463680
@Kees_T I won't lie, sometimes I want to play with douchebag perks as a survivor because of those sweaty killers out there who want to pull out some noed, mori, and act crazy just because they see like 2 people with toolboxes. Now if I see so much as 2 people with a toolbox or medkit and I'm playing survivor, I will pull out a map offering. Which is @Victory yet another advantage that survivors have. The ability to be able to choose maps.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/463801#Comment_463801
@fluffybunny Yeahh but some players dress their characters pretty noticeably and still get dodged. I'm not for dodging either in most cases, but I'd rather a killer I went against lobby dodge me than just try to build to counter me or me and my friend only. Sometimes I have those games where I go against the same killer like 2-3 times in a row maybe even more or the same killer just over and over at some point in the day and they just select a killer and build to get revenge on me or a friend constantly with as little effort as they can put in. I'd like those killers to be able to lobby dodge if they ever want to, please keep them back! Begone foul no deodorant having killers!
@Kurisataru It wouldn't be an issue if they couldn't see who the survivor is. They could only guess in the lobby screen. It isn't like survivors can and the reasoning was that people were using it to dodge the good killers, but killers pick and choose their matches based off of that stuff, too.

@ShyN3ko The nerfs to killer were necessary, too. They were to stop cheap and cheesy methods. I don't know why anyone's complaining about this like moonwalking, holding the game hostage by blocking the stairwell, etc. was somehow good for the game health.
-
The basement which was meant to be a scary place for survivors to go into now is just another safe haven for survivors.
If you wanted to block the survivors path, it's still possible to get in the way. You just can't hold the game hostage anymore. And you say all that like killer complaints didn't result in survivor things getting nerfed or changed.

@DBD_Pinhead "Genrushing" isn't an excuse to DC. Unless we're going to say it's fine to get a 4-man DC 'cause they don't like an add-on or killer. Hint: It's not.
-
@Zarathos said:
I cant see your med kit, box, key or map add ons only that you have one. If you play against killers often enough you can figure out there add ons.
No ones arguing dcing killers dont happen but its less of an issue because survivours dont have to put up with continuing the game when a killer dcs. Its also way more common since 4 players are statistically gonna be more likely to contain these kinda players then a single killer player.
Lobby dodging consumes no add ons or items and its really just making it longer for killers to get games its not like survivour queue times are crazy long either.
Also let not dodge the issue your lobby has 4 boxes with there names all written as gen rush. Telling a killer he has to put up with that crap or worse telling me its unfair to not throw on a mori or Franklin's.
@Zarathos Most killers assume you have the best add-ons, regardless of if you do. The same goes for survivors. If you play against certain survivors enough, you'll know their build. You'll know if they loop really well and decide FROM THE LOBBY SCREEN that you don't want to deal with that and leave. You know, what survivors do in game. I'm not for DCing, but I'm also not for the double standards presented here. If killers' names were hidden to prevent abuse, survivor names should be, too.
Otherwise there needs to be a punishment for lobby dodging.
-
It's more likely that people just happen to be playing newer characters of theirs.
