Some Small QoL changes for Legion suggestions
Legions add-on's have seen significant changes in the last update. Some have been understandable, but others have been questionable or have rendered the add-on's practically useless to a Legion player. Due to the fact that the Deep Wound status effect pauses in terror radius and when mending, it's threat level is moot. On top of that Legion also no longer damages the Deep Wounds timer when striking a survivor again while in frenzy, and this leaves the player with 0 incentive to do so when it not only does nothing to the survivor, it also gives the Legion player a 4 second stun while the survivor gets a 3 second sprint burst, making this the worst possible option. So here are a few suggestions for helping these add-on's gain some potency:
Iridescent Button:
Because of the changes to Susie's Mix tape/Never-Sleep Pills which now extend the detection range of killer instinct in a frenzy, this Add-on lost the ability to increase the Killer instinct detection radius to Map Wide. Simply give it back that ability, and it will be the best Ultra Rare Add-on for the Legion.
Fuming Mix Tape:
This one was unchanged, but is still fairly pointless for an Ultra Rare. Add the ability to Tremendously increase Frenzy Duration (5 seconds), or Moderately increase Frenzy Movement speed (bringing them back up to the 5.2m/s speed they used to have) would be great additions to it so that a Player using it can actually get to a generator they see is heavily progressed in time to try and stop it from being completed.
Franks Mix Tape:
Currently it removes 25% (7.5 seconds) of the deep wound timer per additional frenzy hit, but since doing that means a 4 seconds stun + 20 second recharge time + survivor sprint burst, it takes 5 hits and 70+ seconds to successfully down a survivor this way; which no one is going to do and makes it completely unworthy of the Very Rare category. Instead, I suggest making it so that it stacks its potential damage to the deep wounds timer by 25% per survivor hit during one frenzy. That way if you manage to strike all 4 survivors, then the next one who has deep wounds applied will go down if struck again. Managing to hit all 4 currently is already difficult to do in one frenzy, and more often than not a Legion with this may only get the 50% reduction on someones timer most of the time, but overall it rewards the player for frenzy attacking the entire team by giving them a down if they are successful. I'm unsure if this would make it worthy of a "Very Rare" again, but at least it wouldn't be useless.
Stab Wounds Study:
Deep Wounds timer hardly ever goes down anymore due to the changes it's received, and so this add-on is also practically useless. To make it have some semblance of usefulness simply add to it the ability to make the timer continue to tick down while mending, and not stop at 1% like the timer did before this update. Since the timer will still pause whenever in the killers TR, this will either encourage survivors to try and sneak a mend in while in the TR, or start mending as soon as they are out of it because if they are careless they'll bleed out. This should help make Deep wounds a Threat again, but not make it as abuse-able as it was before.
Defaced Smiley Pin/Scratched Pin/Legion Pin:
The New detrimental status effects on these pins are great except they require the player to strike someone twice while in frenzy to apply the effect. As mentioned above, there's no incentive to strike a survivor twice in frenzy due to the 4 second stun + survivor sprint burst problem. Instead have it apply these status effects upon the first frenzy strike so that the player will be encouraged even more to strike as many survivors as they can during a frenzy if only to give them these effects for 60 seconds.
Aside from these suggestions another thing that would help make Deep Wounds a little more of a threat happened to me by accident the other day while I was playing. I struck someone with a Frenzy attack, but the red aura glow surrounding them remained in my vision (even after frenzy ended) until they mended the deep wound or were downed. This happened to a few survivors in the game, but it made me feel like deep wounds was finally useful against them, and not just a time waster since they stood out from the environment. If this were implemented as a base ability or an add-on change for Deep Wounds it'd help Legion in locating survivors they struck while in frenzy, especially considering that they no longer see scratch marks or blood pools while frenzied. It may have been a bug, but it was a godsend on the Rotten Fields map for me, and I thought it would be a great QoL change for Legion that'd help Deep Wounds become more of a threat and less of a mild annoyance.

I think Frank's Mixtape should let you see scratchmarks and blood.
Pin add-ons would be broken as hell if you had to hit people only once, I think that's why devs made them that way, I think those add-ons should be speed increasers.
Everything else is great
@tt_ivi_99 Why do you think the pins would be broke if they could be used on the first hit?
@fluffybunny
Because he can hit multiple people in no time.
Mangled and broken status effect aren't good debuff addons anyway, when you can just equip sloppy butcher and use better addons like the ones that reduce fatigue and increase FF duration. I don't find that change broken.
And about Frank mixtape, i think any change would make the addon better.. they literally trashed it.
Give it up man. They've clearly shown that they have no intentions on making this killer viable! I enjoyed him while I could too so I understand your pain!
@KaoMinerva Legion never really was "viable" or easy to win with. With the old one, you had to down some with your power in most cases. He's in a better state imo, though could use some improvements.
FMT Legion was more FEARED than Nurse. I miss him already!
@KaoMinerva
The way I see it, they tore Legion down to basics so that they could slowly build them up to a level that would be more balanced and still fun to play based on feedback from the community and stats gathered. Of course the problem is that the changes they made have destroyed their unique power and add-on's, rendering the power as only a minor annoyance. All I'm suggesting are some changes that would aid the power to be more of a threat without being too broken or OP. This would raise the viability a bit, but Legion would still be around mid tier at best imo if these were implemented due to the fact that they would still be add-on dependent in order to have said viability. A bit like the Doctor who is very basic aside from being anti-stealth, and is heavily add-on dependent in order to be viable at mid tier. Currently Legion is heavily add-on dependent, but the add-on's are mostly trash that pose no threatening changes or enhancements to their power and keeps them from reaching that mid tier level consistently, much less have any chance of reaching high tier even with their best add-on's. I just think at least some of these suggestions would help them achieve that level and make playing them both fun and more balanced for the mid tier.
@KaoMinerva He was only "feared" because he wasn't that fun to play against.
Legion is definitely better imo, the only change I want is for deep wound to prevent certain actions being available like for instance you can’t do gens or cleanse totems while in the deep wound effect.
That will at least make DW mean something again.
