Every killers that runs iris just rides the survivors booty and throws it, has nothing to do with practice at all, and you say "a rare item that costs tons of resources" yet none of the survivor pinks are worth 7K anymore but I'm sure you're perfectly fine with how "strong" they are.

Yes survivor items are fine atm...

And if its not being used at range its a single use chainsaw with no mobility... if its being used how you say how can a worse less useful version of another killers basekit possibly bother you

Ghostface, Mike, oni 1hk. No addon

ight then lets revert the insta heal changes and bnp changes

Yeah everything has to be tit for tat huh? You can't let a single killer have a single useful tool. And survivors all wonder why they have 20minute que times lol

It costs 7,000 bloodpoints, that's not 'tons of resources'. It doesn't take practice or is difficult if you are an average Huntress. It shouldn't be so oppressive.

If it shows up in your bloodweb...

And you buy your way to it...

I've done 2P working on 3 with my huntress and I've gotten a dozen or less.

Sometimes it takes 3-4 matches to buy my way to it if it shows up I can go entire weeks if playing without seeing one

You may have crashed only ten times, but that's just you. The problem with PC games in general is that every PC now-a-days is built differently with all different hardware and software, so what may not make you crash, may make another person crash.

Personally I had the game lock up on me three times last night alone (thankfully not in any actual matches, though one of them was loading into a match). That only began happening after this patch went live.

    20200430_160844.jpg

  • A rare item that costs tons of resources and is difficult to use and takes lots of practice... if you play nothing but killer and nothing but huntress you might have more then average... but really ultra rare should be that powerful its not like it could even be used every game

5 minutes, allegedly if it was the first DC anyway.

The problem is when the 5 minutes becomes 15. Then the 15 becomes 1 hour. Then the 1 hour becomes 8 hours. Then the 8 hours becomes 24 hours.

In all my years of dbd I've crashed maybe 10 times prolly less. It decays in a day so if your leaving matches or experiencing bugs every single day to get that 8 hour ban yikes check up ur system

If the game was that buggy for me I wouldn't want to play tbh I'd really move onto another game.

Tho... it would be nice if a crash report could appeal and reset the timer

    Best wishes

  • Smaller maps are a survivor buff...

    Get to gens alot quicker

    Go for saves alot quicker

    Hook Sabo quicker

Since 4 survivors move around at the same time less distance for both "teams" (killer vs survivor) it means that the survivors can cover 4 times as much ground in the same time. Its a massive buff

  • smaller maps... means the survivors can get to gens faster now... it's huge survivor buff

  • So the one minute ban for your first DC was rough on you huh ?

  • So the only argument against it is if survivors are too lazy to use any of the plethora of countermeasures it doesn't feel good to be one hit down ?

Am I understanding that correctly ?

So all the other one hit down powers killers have are... what exactly ? They fine ? Oni-mike-billy-leather-irrhatch-deathsling-ghostie.

All have one hit downs that you can charge and use mid match multiple times whenever... but the only one you have control over activating need that only works when the gates are powered thats the one survivors can't handle?

I'm reading the comments but I'm really not seeing anything that conceives me against noed. Its strong... I guess... stronger then monterous shrine but killers really don't have anything too powerful perk wise... some add ons I can see the arguments for but noed? Its not that good

yeah because that happens every single time, huh? Are you even rank 20 to see if matchmaking is that bad there? Did you even check it in the new update? I guess no

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/078/R1V6873FXRZV.png

Where are those stats from and what does it mean ?

    Genuine question

  • @BunnyTheHutt said:

Been playing the new update all day, and when survivors want too gen rush games still end in 5-6 mins. There simply isn't enough time for someone like Leatherface or Deathslinger too pressure gens unless they 3 gen. Plus BHVR buffed perks too simply make the gen nerfs completely void, making the whole thing useless. We need heavy nerfs too gens for killers too have enough time too pressure gens, no one enjoys being stuck playing the same 3-4 killers because they are the only ones who can handle the gen rush.

Gens can stay the same IF

They give killers that don't have mobility powers... powers of mobility

    Or

    They make maps smaller

Smaller changes could including blocking most gens access like... forcing a wall or structure to spawn so only 2 can work at a time

Making the gens harder to find or naturally regress.

Buffing killer gen kick to pgtw level so they would choose to pressure gens over chases sometimes

because kicking gens without it is a severe punishment to the killer and a full on waste of time

Lots of things could be done instead of flat out increase gen time.

  • 70% kill rate 2.8 kills per game... so he's mostly loosing matches...

So the killer is loosing all but 30% of games and this is OP to you???

And those stats where redrank where they can be matched with rainbow ranks and hook suicides and DC and even then they lost over and over again driving the kill rates high.

Here's so facts you missed. Killers are leaving the game in droves so much so that the matchmaking is broken leaving to 20minute survivor ques.

And whiles its true that gen repair has gotten a entire three seconds longer when repairing in a group

And infinite loops are gone on 2 maps oh geeze

You've already forgot about how the entire killer meta was nerfed into the ground because survivors can't handle hitting skillchecks

And hook Sabo is 2.5 seconds its easier to break a hook in a killers face then ever

But of course its skill when you succeed but all luck when you die ? Childish call of duty mindset.

I've go 7-10 games in a row never touching a gen and still escaping without perks... just because sfw teamwork is that effective. Survivor is the power role don't kid yourself and these slight map changes won't bring killers back. But please enjoy your 2-3 minutes of skillfully running round a car or a long wall like Scooby-Doo monster Nascar lap. Only to activate one of 12 second chance perks to repeat again at the next loop.

It's not that console players don't want cross play at all it's that we don't want to verse PC players with M&KB for a majority of games. In a lot of games, it's such an extreme advantage and with some monster rigs being able to outperform any console, especially when you've put 5x the money into it, there's just no competition. A lot of us play console more because it is a more casual experience, and in a way we want to keep it that way.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1238789#Comment_1238789

And what's so bad about the Xbox community? I know the squeaker stereotype originated from Xbox, but some of us are reasonable people. And prefer our exclusives to be games, rather than interactive movies.

Can't agree more on the pc front. I'm not a fan of modding and hacking is awful its not the ones you can see floating around the map as Shrek vomiting rockets its the

hackers who have just alittle more health then you... who get the killstreak just a little sooner... who's swords hit alittle harder then mine. The ones who whenever you meet it just happens to drop frames seconds before they turn the corner spraying.

I'm not that interested in a console war debate in this forum, so I'll just wrap it up with myself and everyone I've ever met have had massive longstanding unenjoyable experiences across all media with the Xbox community for almost a decade... overall as a generality i think im more then safe in my true and tested stereotype even if there are minute exceptions

I like that movie dig :) lol just name ur exclusives is it... halo or halo ? Or maybe its the halo remaster

  • I'd rather not play with the Xbox community

Or the mouse and keyboard folks

Cross play never interests me. Why dump a load of children into my servers or force me to play against people with better machines then me? Hard pass.

  • to be honest depends on the survivors but id still camp even if you made the timer 3 minutes or 5

completely ignores the fact that tunneling/camping is done more often to disrespect a certain survivor than it is to actually try to win a match.

Very closed minded of you to actually believe only survivors can be toxic or that teabagging is not at a risk to a survivors chance of winning. I've won multiple chases due to survivors spending too much time trying to upset me when they could have created a larger gap between my blade and their body.

    Cmon now...

Considering how butt dancing takes literally no time at all to perform, this makes no sense.

If you have time to gloat you have too much time.

And if you have so little fear of a killer you feel comfortable doing this then the killer should be a lot stronger

Survivors are completely undone by a killer that pressures and controls the match by going to gens and dictating which ones he will let the survivors do.

I love how a killer can have so many crutches, instant knockdowns, BS addons, easily abusable and unplayable (against) perks and a Mori to top it off, but no, it's the survivor's fault for having to play against someone who is naturally given more resources and perks which generally have less downsides to them and can be more frequently used than the survivor ones.

    k lmao

Lol yeah as killer I can track 4 players and protect 7 gens being at all places at all times while still doing chases hahaha hah

And every tool a killer has beyond m1 is a crutch ? Hahaha hahaha

    You are not a clown

You are the entire circus 🎪

I'm convinced you're either trolling or so heavily biased that you're blind on what the word balance means.

Killers have perks that can prevent and deny the survivors to even complete their objective. Keys are even objective locked/survivor locked until an end-game situation.

The only time that keys and moris would be comparable is if bringing a key completed one gen at the start of the match - just like how a killer can kill within the first minute of a match - before even one gen is done. :)

Ummm nah. The killer might kill within the first minute... if the survivor makes mistakes if the survivor refuses to use any perks. If the survivors team willfully unsafe unhook and if survivor fails yet again after the unhook to get away in a chase and if the team doesn't help by body blocks or stuns or flashlights or Sabo... you might get a killer if he's lucky and skilled enough and it's the 3 meta killers with mobility

Any killer is undone completely by basic teamwork... and if you have a meta perk squad lol yeah right. Anyone who advocates for mori nerf feels entitled to more lives.

Nah. You get one life its entirely your fault if you go down. Its entirely your teams fault for not rescuing you properly and then its your fault for going down a second time in order for any mori to work. So yeah its on you bucko

  • Yeah every "killer sided" update is just crumbs and a survivor buff.

Yay one map is slightly smaller and infinites are gone

But every single other loop in the game just got a lot easier to preform for common players.

Yay hooks aren't broke as long

But now they can Sabo so fast in front of you can't even clean your blade in time. So noone has to 99 hook setup anymore its easily for everyone to drop hooks in your face...

  • Nah... shortcuts are shortcuts

Surviors have 4 second chance perks to help them survive a mori

and mori blood web locked and very uncommon. items spawn in trails by the load

While killers just have to pray 🙏 that everyone just doesn't suddenly escape for no reason randomly.

Web lock keys. And make it so that only the person having it can escape. And make it so they have a minimum gen they have to do themselves and THEN it'll be like its = to a mori.

Mori base kit. Completely remove hatch. That'd be more fair

  • lol the survivor rulebook is it ?

  • I'd rather give killers more control over power then not.

Like when doc just static you for being near him passively now you have to choose when to blast.

I'd eliminate all the passive and make them manual if only to end the argument that " blank takes no skill its just always working with no effort"

  • I refuse to play killer until it gets better. I'm hoping these map changes help...

but honestly I need something else a clear killer objective. With the game balanced in favor of survivors with the devs goal of 2e2k every match feels like a loss in both emblem and points and the entity is always displeased

while on survivor as long as I get out its always a victory and its crazy easy to just escape doing nothing but hiding

Unless they fixed it (i have not had a situation recently to say they did or did not) you can get chain stunned because there is a bug that wont allow you to get out of cloak. It is ment that you get uncloak as wraith when stunned by a flashlight, but a bug prevent(ed) this. So they can simply stun you as long as they want until they run out of battery.

So yes, if this is still in the game they have to fix this asap, its no game mechanic, it is a bug.

    I mean... I'd always say fix bugs : /

  • matches are really short

And gens are the only OBJ

At base after all the nerfs its 7minutes total or 105 seconds per survivor...(including gates)

if played even half effectively the gens are done in 3 minutes and your at one or 2 hooks max.

Either slow the genspeed or add a second obj... it'd be nice if survivors all had to pick up a how to repair book in the center of each map before then can work on a generator that way at least they wouldn't have 4 generators half done by the time I walk across the map because they spawn on top of them

  • @Cheers said:

Most likely because games that involve violence are a good way to release anger. If you lose a match, often your body looks for an alternative, such as messaging opposing players.

Other players are 18 or 19, just after coming out of puberty and are complete douches due to this.

First I doubt everyone playing is close to being of age lol. I get messaged by a lot of sqeakz.

Its the asymmetrical aspect that breeds it. Its an us vs him mentality. As killer when someone upsets you its just you and you feel ganged up on

but as survivor you get mad someone killed you and then complain to your 3 other teammates who all support you and add to the rage.

We are all also collectively taught to hate the villain and see them as bad by movies and such... easily forgetting the killer in this game is a regular human just like us

  • If survivors are so powerful they can dance and gloat escaping with ease... maybe they need nerfs and killers need buffs.

  • I wouldn't remain cloaked midchase. Id go for the bloodlust or uncloak around the corner for that little burst of speed when you leave and hit them that way

I find wraith most effective if I play him almost exactly how I play spirt. Witch is to say only use his power for movement or short range sneaky dash attacks

Oh and I target and tunnel the first flashlight mf I see to death. Face camp even. If they realize it makes them a target they won't do it as much.

  • if you increase all the killers basekit speed you can get rid of bloodlust... sure.

    Otherwise nah.

  • now... and this is almost painful for me as I'm usually for every killer buff I can get...

but i have to disagree... flashlights are countered by just looking sideways and you can still swing when blinded... that stun only happens if you really let them lock onto you.

even really experienced players have trouble using flashlights

    I think it should stay

  • Can we get rid of sock accounts like this one instead?

    Weak bait.

  • The most toxic gaming community I've been apart of since League... Idk why dbd is a cesspool.

  • Tbag is a universal sign in gaming as disrespectful just like flipping people off in public it doesn't hurt anybody but it does make them really upset.

And just like in sports you can get disqualified for flipping people off i agree that being disrespectful in a competition should be penalized or since its digital be disabled.

I've seen alot of posts or videos mentioning how tbagging or antagonistic behavior negatively effects the game...

I think I've only seen a single post about how the killer nodding or hitting you on hook affected someone... and in that post they laughed about it because it cost the killer the game.

I would say its solely survivors toxic behavior in this game that's the issue because to be honest if you have time to but dance around as a team to disrespect another player then the killer should be buffed because the role is obviously to weak if everyone on the other team has so much time to screw around.

what sort of stupid argument is that? you're saying if the dev's removed instant down items then veteran killers would leave the game ? lol ?

    Hello.

    P3 huntress

    Devo 4 killer veteran here

Yes. Removing the few mildly effective tools killers have does in fact get players to quit.

Did you not notice how much longer the ques have gotten since the ruin nerf? And ruin didn't even last that long or work that effectively.

  • You know why dieing sucks? Because it takes forever to get into another match and get back to playing sometimes 15-20 minutes from ready up to full load into another game

You know why queuing takes so long as survivor and its instant to play killer ? Killers have very few useful or enjoyable tools to play and its mostly a stress riddled bullied experience that many have chosen to abandon

So please make yet another ir hatchet noed post. Remove the last few drawback riddled easily countered mildly OK tools the killers have... that'll help

  • I'm sorry you want the immortal killing machine to simultaneously fight 4 people simultaneously but you want him to be easily defeated by the ability to walk around a car repeatedly?

    Get out.

  • to be honest I used to do this when the game started because I loved "torturing" them. I was really into the mood and the spirt of the game... back when killers used to be scary.

I used to send direct messages like the "nurse will see you now " or "I'll be waiting for you next check up" and stuff like that using the phone app mid match

I was super into the role.

It wasn't until I was told it was seen as tbagging that I stopped because I wasn't trying to be rude I was trying to be scary...

  • @Saitamfed said:

I agree with you partially. Since NOED starts working when the gates are powered, not open. Meaning unless you're a really bad killer or that somebody just walk into the hex totem. You're going to get a hook.

Not if you stand at a gate before the last gen and start it the second its ready... only 2 killers have enough mobility to maybe get to you. Spirt and nurse

Even then at least 7 killers have 1hits anyway so its not like it helps them any.

Its not like you can't Deleverance DS and BT And DH right out the gates anyway even if they 1hk...

Its entirely your fault if the killer hits you and kills you. You could have hid at the gate until he saw it empty and turned around he can't cover both.

If he gets one of you because your awful instead of making a noed post in the forum message your teammates to leave so you don't reward noed with altruism because that's the real reason it gets kills poor teammates feeding it.

Its a unless perk until the last twenty seconds its the only second chance perk the killer has and its easily countered by 12 different methods 2 even base kit.

I want to keep noed for my clown, my my pig, and my nurse because maybe just maybe it'll stop the clicking dance at the gate for just one survivor while the other 3 escape. Just one limited activation weak perk can I just have that ? Can I have a single moderately ok perk to use as killer

1 … 10 11 12 13 14 … 22
