Im not sure Umbra applies lol. She pulls in 2-4k every stream. That's just as much as Tofu.
I mean I thought she was pretty known as well until I saw others mentioning her haha
-
It warms my heart.
-
I feel like they should buff it so that if you are mending/healing your timer doesn't go down. It's probably not being used though because people don't want to run it with iron will, and from my perspective as killer it was actually pretty situational. Yeah, on Hawkins or this new labyrinth of a map it would be horrible to go against, but with pretty open maps like Coldwind or Autohaven being 5x more likely to show up it seemed weaker than I thought.
-
When dead hard gets nerfed are you guys going to complain about the other exhaustion perks? Sprint burst is better than dead hard if you ask me, it's just less annoying because it doesn't happen in the middle of chase. Lithe works better for me than dead hard and is more annoying to deal with. Not only do they make it to the pallet or window, they get to abandon the chase and the killer's time would be wasted unless he wants to waste more time catching up to the survivor. At least with dead hard you will eventually down them.
-
Ussylis is a good survivor that is generally respectful and fun to watch, Umbra is a good huntress main but plays other killers too, Rayoxium is a very good Nurse and Huntress.

could be both?
tbh to be able to win with trickster you need to be good as killer, if you aren't you'll be awful with him
I also feel like perks make a difference, some of the ones I won against had niche perks, yellow and green perks, going for adept, etc. Both of the ones I lost against had a good build.
-
I want to say two but I'm not sure if it was because they were a good trickster or just a good killer.

so she encourages a stealthy play-style. this is a problem how
I think that's a good idea honestly. The survivors playing stealthy and boring as ######### to counter Hag's boring play style.
-
I don't know if she needs to be reworked, I'm just glad no one plays her. It is BS that they can just proxy camp hook and come back knowing they'll get a down no matter what, I feel like that's how half of the people who play her play. I don't exactly get how her traps are supposed to be fair either. Trapper's traps are both easier to see and a much smaller range. Hag's range on traps are invisible, and the traps themselves are close to invisible, and it's almost always a free hit if you do run into one. Trapper literally got an update where it's easier to get out of stepping in his well placed trap. And when you disarm his trap it doesn't automatically appear in his inventory. Not liking the difference here. The problem with playing Hag though is that you can't chase because you're 110 and the shortest killer.

She has counterplay, much like Spirit and (kind of) Nurse. You basically need to aggro her, at least 1 of you, so that she can't set up. If she gets a chance to set up in an area of the map and y'all keep running into her traps there, you lose. You can't just let her do her thing and then loop her like you can other killers, because she doesn't go for chases, she goes for tp hit tp hit. And when you know you're about to run into one of her traps, you can try to spin into it and turn around so that she whiffs when she tps. It's a double back mindgame you can do just like with Spirit and Nurse. And when she traps the hook, just crouch through it. She can come back of course but that's still camping and will get punished if the other players are doing gens. But the way y'all talk about her, she has no counterplay and apparently is as strong as Spirit. Perhaps this just goes back to the main problem which is solo teammates generally being bad.
In solo queue you can't coordinate like that though. I always try to aggro her but my teammates just don't do gens, or 3-gen us against the hag. Also I will get almost no points for doing nothing the whole game because once again, can't coordinate taking turns of who is aggroing the killer.

Woah calm down hag is not even that hard to counter, you just need to get better at learning from losses instead of harboring hate for a video game character. You do realize hag traps are easy to spot with the flying magic particles all around it. Ever use object of obsession? Just watch her put down traps and trigger them when she busy making more traps early game. You have infinite maps as well as deja vu for easy counter to hag. What next nerf tier 3 Myers because you got one shot?
What magic particles? Is this an ultra-graphics thing? They're practically invisible for me
-
Wraith and Nurse as well... it wasn't as hard as it seems though, rank 20's are pretty easy to kill as Nurse if ya know what you're doing.
-
I think we should stop nerfing fun addons.
-
I struggle with it in the sense that a couple times I've hit it (or at least it looks like it did) but nothing happened.

You just inspired a perk idea:
"Cauterize"
You take advantage of open electrical panels in dire circumstances. When repairing a generaror while injured you heal yourself 2%/4%/6% but are Exhasted for 60sec.
Numbers can be played with here obviously, and the down side of Exhaustion could be changed. And I bet both gens being done would increase and SC use would drop.
I love when people come up with their own perks and it's actually decent, unlike 60% of the survivor perks already in the game.

I got a rank reset to rank 9. Now that im rank 4 again i can say that its not hard to pip as survivor. The big difference to killer are double pips. They are so much easier on killer so you rank up a lot faster.
Hmm, now that I think about it, the double pips probably are why it makes such a difference for me. I usually black pip or just pip as survivor, but for killer I double pip a lot so it's twice as fast.
-
Nurse is so buggy for me on that map, what are you all on about

And don't even get me started on the "trash" on Autohaven.
Lol, you mean the same few lawn chairs and pizza boxes?
-
In my opinion the main factor of ranking up should be chasing. Sitting on a gen and rescuing your teammates is important and should be rewarded, but it doesn't really take skill. You should also get more points for escaping the trial, but not get as much of a penalty for dying as it is unrealistic (in my opinion) to never get downed/hooked, especially because survivors need that to happen for Benevolent points.

True, but rank as killer does mean a bit more since it's harder to rank up.
Alright, my comment got deleted for some reason but anyway---I feel like it's easier to rank up as killer. I get all of my points just from doing my main objective, hooking people. I also play stronger killers like Nurse and Blight though. Survivor is supposedly easier to rank up with but I feel like my games are so RNG, sometimes I'm as good as the killer and sometimes I suck, sometimes my teammates suck, sometimes the killer is too bad so I don't get a whole Benevolent emblem, etc. I feel like pipping relies on the other players too much whereas killer it depends mostly on you.

I feel like it's easier to rank up as killer, but I also play strong killers such as Nurse and Blight like you do. Theoretically it should be easier to rank up as survivor rather than killer, but you have to rely on your team playing good and the killer playing bad, but not too bad or else you lose Benevolent emblem.
-
Mhm, killer is really annoying to play sometimes, and frustrating...but is it hard for me? Not really. If I lose it's definitely my fault in most cases.
-
The survivor wanted to win too I assume, and it seems like he knew you were on hatch. I wouldn't have expected him to kill himself in that situation. Also, I still think you won. An uncontrollable escape like that basically counts as a 4k in my book.

If the gen was about to pop why didn't you just finish it and then try to heal Claudette? If Claudette was choosing to heal herself you should've just focused on your nearly finished gen. Really can't blame Claudette self caring for you not finishing your gen that was about to pop.
Exactly, I feel like she was the smart one in that situation. If the gen was close to being popped then work on the gen and let Claudette heal, two things being done at once there.

You don't though. The other 3 Survivors can and will bodyblock for the injured person.
Couple that with Dead Hard, and they can make it to pretty much any gate.
I gotta agree with the other guy. You have four survivors alive at EGC, three of which are smart enough to coordinate like they're supposed to and outplay you. I get it's not fun, but it's not fun for the person being facecamped/farmed off of hook either.
-
He's not fun to go against on indoor maps, and not fun to play on outdoor maps.

The swamp maps are big?

That is my main gripe but it usually seems to be sided with a lower rank killer matched up versus higher rank survivors...I rarely get a yellow or brown it's always purple or red...I will take a group of greens with 1 purple or red as even right now
Yeah, as soon as I hit green ranks as killer I started getting full red rank lobbies, especially at night for some reason, and as survivor as soon as I was purple rank it started putting me up against red rank killers with thousands of hours.

the main argument survivor mains make is that no one will play against SWF after.
Well that just goes to show how broken SWF is if no killer wants to go against it
If I had the choice to not go against Spirit, Freddy (even after this nerf), Deathslinger, Doctor, Hag, I wouldn't. Does that mean they are broken?

you know in golf when you're clearly better than your opponent you get what is called a "handicap"
Several other sports events also offer handicaps to make things fair.
It's not unreasonable to suggest SWF should get some kind of handicap. I mean afterall SWF gets a free fifth perk to compensate (comms)
it's not that they are being punished for being SWF it's that comms is clearly unfair and punishing to killers and something needs to be done to make comms fair.
This is a video game though. Maybe if there was a competitive mode and a casual mode, then SWF in casual could be handicapped, but this is a game to have fun with friends for some people. I agree with killers getting compensation in BP or rank, but people shouldn't be punished for trying to have fun.
-
They're allowing you to facecamp two survivors at once :)
-
I wonder if they should let Myers stalk multiple survivors at a time, at least in T1. They should also let his T1 be hidden from Spine Chill until he's within almost 16 meters or something like that. Something I find annoying playing him is that I will go to stalk a survivor, but they are out of stalk. That is why a lot of Myers tend to run NOED, since their power will be gone by the end of the game. Maybe they should get rid of that mechanic, but each time he goes back into T2 he stalks slower and slower. Those are just my ideas though, I'm definitely not someone to listen to.

@Lord_Tony said:
if they buff myers they will remove his ######### tombstones
I think they should rework Tombstone Piece to be fair, but Judith's Tombstone is perfectly fine. Most of his addons are fine.
-
So you just want survivors to give the killer free kills or what? I don't care if I'm steamrolling what's probably a solo-queue group and when I play survivor, killers don't care either. I wouldn't be blaming the killers or survivors for bad matchmaking though. It's BHVR'S fault if they put a 500 hour player like me against a team or killer with 3000 hours.
-
It doesn't need to be horror but old-old Coldwind looked much more pleasing to me aesthetically. It was more about the lighting and structures than the map being darker though.
-
I thought it was fun and balanced and while it is balanced it's not fun. I mean, sometimes it's useful but it hurts me more than anything because the killer will always see me even when I don't want them to, such as when I'm healing or opening a gate,

I mean, they're trying to save me from getting camped by a lousy killer, I would probably do the same. Who cares who is worse though, the killer was complete trash, if your whole strategy is camp and wait, you aren't playing the game, you just suck, whether you killer none or 4.
I agree that it was lousy, why else do you think they're playing the easiest killer to camp with? At least they had the sense to try to get one kill though. If your teammates threw themselves at a Bubba they don't deserve to win either. If the game was fair you would've somehow gotten hatch for looping the killer that long, but the game is unfortunately pretty unfair.
-
Over 100+ BW to get Infectious Fright on Oni. No Tinkerer for Blight. Getting Tier 1 BBQ and never seeing it again on a killer. It hurts :(
-
@jester20k said:
Tldr. My first game back today after a few days, I ran a Bubba for 3 gens before he finally downed me. Solo queue. Despite my gymnastics signaling I was being camped, all 3 of the other survivors came to try to rescue me. Since he was Bubba, all 3 went down one after the other and then I died. This killer was complete trash. I don't give a ######### what justification you want to try to make up for it. He sucked.
Guess your teammates were worse though, huh?
-
I agree with most of this, but in my own experience it's harder to take agro than you think if the killer wants to tunnel vision. I mean, it works sometimes, a lot will take the free down thankfully. Killers are understandably desperate or maybe they just want this certain survivor to die, so they will find every way to go around your bodyblock, BT, whatever. Not really the survivor's fault in that situation.
-
Oh wait, I think I've went against you before. It makes me smile when killers do that, or a little twirl just to be fancy.
-
I'm going to have to agree, these games are actually so fun. You're almost never doing nothing, and they're trying to have fun even though they'll probably depip.
-
I was actually thinking about that too, because I saw someone suggest that Spirit have an animation cooldown after phasing. I thought it was stupid but then realized that's literally how most killers work, why does she get special treatment?
-
@RenTheCat said:
If the killer stops to kill you and hook you then he's not tunneling anyone.
It's almost like that was their goal.
-
I 4% when the killer is facecamping or when I'm trying to kill myself so someone can get hatch. Pretty useful if you ask me! /s
-
"Never seen a killer slug someone because they are evil or salty or whatever, there is always a reason to slug but survivors love the attention and playing victim so it's not surprising in their head they were being genocided or something."
Yes, I'm sure lack of hooks is why I encounter killers that force 4-man bleedouts at 5 gens. Killers definitely cannot be toxic.
-
Definitely. Mobility paired with lethality are great, that's why Nurse and Spirit are top-tier. And old Billy before everyone forgot about him.
-
You're probably top 1% out of what... green ranks? Yellow? Nurse is great against "babies". Try being an actual top player going against other top players though.
-
If Bubba hooks someone in the basement and mysteriously disappears... don't go anywhere near the basement. And yep, BT is getting reworked to counter insidious, although it never did much against Bubba in the first place.
