Self-Care as a basic perk? No thanks. If you'd ask me, they should slightly nerf Self-Care more so that med-kits have more value in trials, and most important ; People will stop being greedy and actually give their teammate(s) heal points.
How's about no because. I can be in matches quite often with my survivors who don't have self care and no one will heal me they leave me injured. I go looking for a medikit and most commonly I find a tool kit. Even when I heal others they still don't heal me. On occasion they will even sell me out to the killer and I have seen them using the come here emote to the killer and then the pointing emote in my direction. So I think self care needs to go back to its previous state or at least stay as it is now.

Are you having a laugh. Is there anything else the devs could do to make your game easier when playing survivor. I have had enough of finding people who have sprint burst perk. If they made it baseline then killers would struggle. It would break the game.

Survivors aren't getting nerds they are getting buffs in my opinion. Killers are getting nerfed imo.
Nerfs*

Considering all the buffs killers have been getting lately, plus all the nerfs to survivors, I think it's time to at least look at alternatives to insta-saw. With all the tools killers have now it's a little over overkill that Billy can rev the chainsaw as fast as he can with add-ons. I would say just tune it back slightly, or make it so the start up effects don't stack.

Too op. Running around slugging and snowballing. I wish I didn’t have to say this but it’s getting out of hand. 0-2 gens done max anytime this happens.
Take another killer out of the equation which is viable at high ranks is this what you are trying to say. I think not mate. Nurse and Billy are the only ones at the minute who are viable at high ranks. The plague may join those two. We need all the killers preferably to be viable at all ranks.
-
In survivor mains words we don't need a killer as strong bad powerful and nurse and Billy. All survivor mains want is an easy free win. Forget what the killers want
-
From what I gathered I find her strong enough to rival nurse.
I feel you. I am worried that my hopes and dreams of a viable powerful killer will upset the survivor mains big time.
-
Head on new surviver perk - Wont this be as good as the current/old DS? I'd think so. Leave a comment below if you disagree link to video on the perk is here:
Dwight gets the benefits lol
-
If this is true wow the salt than I can produce it would be an incentive to not camp as you get a benefit from it lol. But at the same time it could make camping more fun lol.
-
I love the new killer it will make the game more balanced in my opinion. You survivor mains won't be gen rushing me that much now hopefully lol. You ain't taking my ruin down quickly either without a fallback

You can see the animation during the stream. Using a fountain is like 4 seconds.
Coulrophobia might resolve this issue

The survivor perks all 'meh'. Solidarity only has value if both you and the survivor you are healing are injured. If you are playing solo, that is just beyond bad. Even in SWF, in 9 out of 10 games you would be better off with something with less restrictions like Botony Knowledge. I think for this perk to ever be a "thing", it should come with limited range empathy that only works when you are injured.
Poised is probably the most practical of the 3 assuming that it works when any generator is finished and not just the ones you finish. 50 seconds of no scratch marks during a match is nothing to sneeze at. I just don't really see what I would bother dropping to use this for. In a SWF group, it might be fun to try and coordinate with your team when to pop a gen so you can escape from a chase though.
Head On feels like it is both super troll-like and bad bait. Survivors are going to get themselves killed a lot trying to use this. Or wind up hanging out in lockers a lot for no reason. It's the 3 second requirement that really ruins this perk. Would it be that awful if there was no requirement? Or even just 1 second? Sure, the survivor would run into a locker right in front of the killer and get an easy 3 second stun. Then they are exhausted and can't do it again during that chase. Is that really any different than the advantage given by other exhaustion perks? I don't think I'll even bother unlocking the new survivor honestly.
I feel that the survivor perks will generally be used well in the right hands especially with my swf group we all play altruistically and heal each other. In my experience survivors will come to me for healing when I am playing solo.
-
The power when it comes to noise I think calm spirit would counter it. But however I do really like the sound of the killer and look forward to playing her in the ptb. When is the ptb due to be released.
-
What time in Britain will the stream be
-
very very very very vey easy to loop, very very slow, easy easy easy to dodge hatchets but when in corridors hatchet not hitting when it should, hitting when it shouldn't, touch "air" and dissapear.
Leave my Anna alone. I play her and nobody loops me I just hatchet them 3/4k most games. She is higher tier than Freddy because Freddy needs a lot of work done on him hence the reworks that are coming. Huntress needs a couple of buffs but she is actuated really good killer of you know how to play her.

I reckon there will be a double bloodpoints event around Easter or another event

It's a mediocre perk.
The perk is to counter gen rushing.
Survivors don't want to do totems.
Only lower ranked killers run it.
Pretty much survivors expect a free escape every game and now that their perk for a free escape has been reworked, they want nerfs to killer perks that deny them a free escape.
Like I keep saying to survivors when they get salty cos they died, or if I tunneled them for an obsession perk of something. I always turn round and say next time I will fetch my toolbox and give you hand with the gens next time. They soon stop messaging me lol
-
Also why do you survivors say I am camping when it's clear I am chasing another survivor around you on the hook.
-
I am sorry I use devour hope on a few of my killers which gives me an incentive to not camp. But when it gets removed in the first 5 minutes then I am going to camp. Also when I hook a survivor I don't usually camp but when I hook a survivor I don't expect to see someone dive bombing the hook straight away.
-
What if this killer was a lot better than legion and possibly a ton better than nurse or Billy. You wouldn't be saying this would you lol. You would be saying nerf them nerf them they are too strong. Lolse05239 said:I honestly don't care. Following Legion, there's nothing to be excited for.

God or goddess of light or darkness. Or another god sort of killer
-
Make a reduction of the terror radius for all killers similar to Myers
-
Depends on my mood I use to be really good with myers 3/4 k everyeatch, then hillbilly and now it all depends on my mood weirdly enough.
-
When genrush is sorted then noed can be sorted if I am against a seriously annoying swf or really competent survivors then genrush occurs especially as I don't have ruin on all my killers yet. NOED helps me a little bit I sit I don't always need more because usually in most games I have 4k before it lights but when I do need it I like to have it.
-
Ptb is out tuesday isnt it?
-
I have had it before. I was playing Freddy Krueger and as soon as the game loaded 1 DC. I went searching for survivors I saw one and they DC as soon as they here my lullaby and I am fetching the into dream world. I went searching for the 2 others I see them on a gen and fetch them into the dream world and chase then and hit them both down one and they both DC together
-
I think the timer needs to be reworked for it to become useful because 15 seconds isn't really helpful because by time you get the notification they are exposed and go find them the exposed status has gone. I have never used lockers as survivor really so not sure how much the perk is used. Apart from when I am swf and my friends say he has iron maiden. In my opinion haunted ground is more useful .
-
I like all dlcs. My favourite would have to be Myers though as I main myers

Adding to this what is the big problem with deliverance when you are the last survivor alive and you have deliverance available but you get hooked and you die immediately deliverance should be able to still be used if available.douggie123 said:I think it would be nice for survivors to be able to get back up once per match like a built in unbreakable. Then add the unbreakable perk to be able to get up a second time on your own. It's not very often that killers will slug in my experiences but when they do and you have the one survivor who is still standing and sitting on the hatch teabagging it waiting for you to bleed out it takes the mick. I would like to be able to have at least one chance of getting up on my own without having to rely on other survivors who not all of them will help you.
Thoughts anyone. -
I remember my first match with hag I got told by a friend crouch as much as possible but he didn't say why. I walked right over a trap and started a gen got the hag phantasm jumping up I cacked myself but repaired the gen still next second she is yanking me off the gen and my friend is like I told you.

Not all her add-ons are bad some of them I do like such as crate of gears and bag of gears. Although things like tampered timer could be buffed a little.Gamzello said:

PhantomMask20763 said:You must HATE the Pig then with how luck based she's based around then huh?
Technically it’s not really luck but more RNG. Not too long ago I found out that only one is the true box (basically key) out of death. The time when I got it twice at the end of the game due to that Pig camping me I went straight back to the “right” box and it worked lmao.
As for the OP: that’s tough. Lots of low/mid tier killers are kinda fun to play but you don’t get as many kills unless you play against a really bad team.
Yeah, Pig is complete RNG. You're right with the key too. Once a trap is placed, the trap is assigned a box that has the key in it. No other box will have your key making it so 3 boxes are 100% chance to fail and 1 box 100% chance to have your key. I think it gets affected by addons that add more boxes and give more traps though if I'm not mistaken.
I honestly feel like she has potential to be a good killer idk.

Hahaha this is every killers thiugth sometimes I mean I can be about 10 metres from the hooked survivor an still get called a camper even when I am chasing another survivor round the hook as they enjoy dive bombing the hook as soon as I hook people.Doc_W__HOLLIDAY said:Maybe make me spawn with tools so I help gens get done faster? Even then some if my totems have spawned in the easiest locations on then maps. Totem placement needs to be resolved a bit or something needs to be done with them to make it harder for them to be removed.thesuicidefox said:It's a catch 22. If you check it and a survivor is watching now they know where your totem is. If you don't check it then there is a high chance someone spawned near it and has already found it.
The only time killers don't bother to check (usually) are on Lerys or Game because they have good totem spots.
-
Playing as hag I use to go find my totem and trap it but now I can't be bothered hahaha.
-
michaelmyers87 said:where hex ruin is.
Hmmm let’s walk over there at the beginning of the match every time.
Half the time even as killer it takes an age for me to find my totems so I don't bother I go straight looking for survivors and on occasion when I am chasing a survivor I will see my totem and I am like ''' oh there it is " lol -
I had to DC earlier not because I wanted to but because I needed to go for my tea. I should have just stayed but I DC'd I don't ever dc. I don't like people who dc especially when survivors dc when they are getting moried or when there friend finds the hatch.

Trapper I disagree with cause it sorta changes his playstyle in a way other killers don't? But honestly yeah, add-ons that just slightly strengthen an ability rather than modify it are boring. If a killer needs that boost to be effective, they should probably have it as base kit. If not it feels redundant to have. Still, some DO change the way you can use a killer even if it's not immediately evident.
What exactly do you disagree with? Trapper is dependent on his "trapper sack", "trapper bag" and "stitched bag" add-ons because only being able to carry 1 trap at base sucks.
Oh my bad, I misunderstood. I thought you were implying trapper players shouldn't rely on trapper bag, and I felt it should be basekit. Seems we're on the same page on this then
I would like to see the Trapper starting with at least on extra bear trap because I always like to use stitched bag or something for extra bear traps along with honing stone because I like to trick survivors where I place a bear trap either side of a vault location and I watch from a distance as they disarm one and climb over but land in the other its quite funny. It just takes to long to find the traps sometimes and certain survivors pick up on what you are doing.

Which goes back to what I said the other day...killers want survivors to spend an entire generators worth of time cleansing totems
Killers also want totems harder to cleanse.
No, just no. Nerf NOED then maybe look at totems.
NOED doesn't bother me in the slightest. I just break all dull totems I see its not hard.

I play games because they are fun and rewarding. If a game isn't fun or becomes not fun, I stop playing. DBD can be very fun as survivors and killers try to outplay each other through strategy and general sneaky/deviousness. However, there are a few things that are simply not fun and so I avoid them. I'm wondering what the opinions of others are on these topics:- I would rather play killer (it's potentially more fun for me) but survivors have way too many tools for toxicity, so I'm a survivor main.
I don't play against Freddy. For the survivor, DBD is a both a game of cat-and-mouse and a game of hide-and-seek. Freddy greatly sabotages both of these. Out of the dream state survivors have no idea where the killer is (when you know he is near) to have a chance at hiding; it's mostly luck based. A game based on luck and not skill is not fun for me (I don't gamble either).
While in the dream state he can track the survivor very easily, so there is ultimately no escape unless he's after someone else. I like the idea of Freddy and have no problem with the killer or the mechanics really. I just find this to be zero fun and won't spend a decent chunk of my personal time doing something that's not fun.I'm considering no longer playing against The Doctor for similar reasons, but this only recently became the case when the maps shrunk. When half the map is covered by his terror radius, fun left the building.
Both Freddy and The Doctor are not the greatest killers and I find them both fun to play. However, the game should be fun for everyone involved (I can still have fun playing the game when not killing any survivors or being the first to die). There are a lot of discussions around both survivor and killer toxicity, so no need to continue the rant about those.
I enjoy testing my luck with freddy and doctor without any issues it makes the game more scary like which I think this game lacks in scare tactics freddy and doctor are quite good with luck creation and I laugh when I get caught because its fun..
-
the way I was reading it you want rid of all killer add-ons. I do apologise but I do agree without removing the killer add-ons killers still need major buffs and not just to there base skill there addons as well.
-
Here is an idea why do you survivor mains rely on toolboxes, flashlights, medikits and perks such as stake out, adrenaline, decisive strike, sprint burst to win.
-
For god sake is there anything else you survivor mains wish to moan about. Christ this is getting ridiculous now. Remove noed, Remove ruin, Nerf ruin ,what else do you want killers to not have a power. You need to get a grip for gods sake> @SpongeBob420Pants said:
Add-ons should be used to tweak an already balanced power and not be used to make up for weaknesses in the killers
base kit. This would allow for more choice in what add-ons to bring. Here are some examples of add-on dependency:
Trapper: trap carry capacity
Wraith: movement speed/uncloak
Huntress: hatchet wind up time
Hag: teleport range
Cannibal: chainsaw charge time
Doctor: shock therapy range
Clown: effect duration/hindered*As a side note, having to go through a blood-web after every game/other game just to get certain add-ons makes killers even more grind dependent than it is for perks and hurts killer variety.

Eveline said:Sometimes I just want to play around but I can't because that kills my team.

Kill your friends -
Yeah but surely wouldn't the devs see why they are doing so well using one perk. Surely they will pick up that things like noed a d camping etc are only used because there is no other way that specific killer can win fairly without thr use of noed etc.Delfador said:Almost everybody approaches NOED from the wrong angle. People might give this post a reply like 'insert killer main btw' meme but I wholeheartedly write this as a killer, not as a survivor.
One way or another survivors don't cleanse or can't cleanse dull totems. We can discuss the reasons for that but it doesn't change the fact that in more than half of the games, NOED gets activated and make a huge impact on the match.
Generally killers like trapper, pig, wraith, doc, leatherface, freddy resort to using NOED, and we know that NOED has the potential to turn 0k to 4k.
It just kills the chance for these killers to be buffed. Whether you admit it or not, at the end of the day, Devs will look at the stats they have, not what some people write on the forums.
For example, I see posts asking for leatherface buffs and I agree, he is not a good killer. Without using addons, his power is horrendous. Stating that, he will never get a buff because of the way people play him. Camp the first guy and get the second guy with NOED. Done. It is over. Leatherface has 2 kills which is considered to be balanced. Even though this killer is really bad, you can ask Devs whether they will buff him or not. They won't.
It seems like NOED helps killers and harms survivors but in reality, NOED harms killers more than it harms survivors.
As a survivor, I don't have any problem with it. I am a notorious detective's hunch user and I prevent NOED in almost every single match.
-
Now I have a question why do feel motivated to leave dbd. Give a proper answer if you do t mind other than oh it's toxic community etc.
