I seem to always be playing Bubba when I get Coal Tower... and the worst gen spawns... agh...

I'd actually have to think about the most balanced experience I have on a map... maybe Sanctum of Wrath. And I've actually been enjoying Eyrie as both roles.

There really shouldn't be a map larger than 9984m2, which is the size of maps like Temple, Sanctum and Eyrie. A lot of maps are just way too big. I mean, c'mon... Disturbed Ward is 11000 square meters. Bonkers.

I have the same experience with Bubba.

I just want to play on Midwich every game...The rest can go. Only map I like no matter what killer I am using and when I'm survivor. Is that weird?

Is that mean killer camping fun for you ?

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/JXJS6FXWI5OK/camper.jpg

This picture show myers t3 permanent camping. Usually bubba / Hillbilly.. Let me ask you which fun you talk about ?

I'm confused by this? Who complains about a killer camping EGC in 2021?

Mike go check those finished gens while my buddy unhooks.

Mike go check that exit gate over there while my buddy unhooks and we go to the other gate.

    All sounds stupid.

So, i was in a killer match with a Jill, David and two Mikaelas

Some time at the start of the match, i caught Jill and hooked her, but i heard a gen exploding over and over not far so i go to check it out. I see the David and one of the Mikealas pointing at each other, obviously one of them was sabotaging the gen

As a killer, i don't side with survivors no matter what happens, but i play with this at the same time too. i hit the David, then Mikaela, then downed David and left him to go after Mikaela.

Though out most of the match, i caught those two in weird situations, such as one trapping the other in a corner. But the end of it, Jill and the other Mikaela were dead and only those two were left.

I found the Mikaela first and downed her and then went to find David, he wasn't exactly hard to find, he was in a snowman because there was a crow around it. I downed him and hooked the Mikaela first, then David.

David died on the hook and Mikaela had Deliverance and jumped the hook, but i got her down imminently. Avoiding a possible D-strike, i wanted for the hatch to spawn before i picked her up. It spawned near the area and closed it, picked Mikaela up with no issue and killed her

Then the David messaged me asking why i cheated. I had no idea what he was talking about and he was under the impression i was working with the Mikaela, and he goes on threating to report me and saying how i kept avoiding her when i actually didn't. I said i was hunting them all the same, but he just ignored me and kept insisting i was working with her. There were two Mikaelas who were obviously SWF because they wore the same outfit, so it was hard to tell them apart.

I told him over and over than i wasn't working with Mikaela, that i was going to try and kill her just as much as the others, but he kept going on and on, sounding delusional all the while.

He even said he has video footage to use against me. Footage of what? Me hitting them all in the faces?

    This guy was absolutely delusional

This happens often....I wouldn't worry much about it.

I have been accused of cheating because I 4k a swf at 5 gens with Legion....They were really bad obviously.

Been accused because I found a Jeff upstairs on Hawkins....Really that's it. Messaged me saying "Gee wonder how you knew to come straight upstairs after your hook". I had BBQ and Infectious that game but knew he was up there because I heard him whining from downstairs not to mention perks.

Also apparently I hit a Jill while I was cloaked with Wraith. I body blocked hatch, closed it, uncloaked and downed her. She said I was cheating because I was still cloaked. I chalked that one up to visual bug or LIES.

Okay, I think I get what you're all saying about the nerf, and how it impacted his play. There are a few characters im just no good at it, and would hate to spend my shards on a character and then not be able to use him. I know I'll have fun with Legion, so I should probably just stick with Legion.

Oops, forgot I had to unlock Oni too. Poor Oni.

That's who you should go with (ONI). Legion has Disco and Iron maiden which helps reload killers but I find him bloody boring. Slinger just feels broken to me but still can be dangerous however besides maybe Retribution his perks are butt tier. Oni is the best overall out of the 3 but his perks are ass tier (I don't know which ones better ass tier or butt tier).

No one of course. I get awful teams and awful runs as a killer in equal numbers. And i experienced more mercy from the killer than my companions sometimes. The last match the killer squash the whole team except me, i can leave alive. And no is the first time, its like fourth since i start playing one month ago. I dont te bagging never or run foolishly risk, i play to win ever playing seriously ans whethever some of you think its no good that way, its the only way i can got fun or enjoy my free time and doesn't feel i wasted it later. I hate BM and cheap clowns, SWF its full of these, i play with friends but i hate when they play like idiots disrespectful themselves and me. But is a free world this all i can say, sometimes i prefers play alone and survive alone, try to enjoy the good side of the game and stay calm, doesn't cost you.

Staying calm is easy said then done but is the best way to enjoy this game. Yesterday I loaded into a match with Artist and got RPD....So instant I was at a disadvantage (By far her worst map). I was trying a new build (Ruin, Thrill, Pentimento, Scourge) and 3 of them were booners. Thrill was the first cleansed blessed and in case you don't know RPD is the best map for boons (effects 3 floors). Worst luck I have had in awhile and first time I truly believe I lost soon as I loaded in.

  • @dugman said:

Michi was showcasing a fun combo.

    • Scourge Hook Pain Resonance - regress the most advanced gen on a Scourge Hook and force the survivors off it
    • Dead Man’s Switch - After the survivors are forced off the gen above, if you hooked the obsession the gen is also immediately blocked for 45 seconds
    • Furtive Chase - Swaps the obsession role to the rescuer and reduces your terror radius in a chase (which makes it easier to catch the Obsession off guard if you’re not chasing them currently). Allows for more than average possible uses of Dead Man’s Switch

Strategy is find and down the obsession, Scourge Hook for major regression, find the new obsession and repeat. Michi is a Hag main so he also runs this with Make Your Choice so the new Obsession is Exposed and, because he’s Hag, they’ll probably stumble into a trap sooner or later if not get caught on the hook trade immediately.

I am so trying this....Not with Hag though. I only use her if I have too. I'm thinking I can get this to work well with Demo/Freddy.

    Nurses, Sloppy, Monitor and abuse

After I prestiged my Artist I didn't have lots to choose from so I ran Nurses, Sloppy, Coulophobia (sure thats misspelled) and it was pretty decent.

  • Both Scourge hook perks and agitation.

    Ruin/Undying/tinkerer - I don't run this

    Spine chill/Resilience/DH

    Head-on, Q&Q, Deception, IS

    Just some off the dome.

  • Survivor.

WOO - just a great perk for me with my memory problems. I look around while at gens to have escape plan but after that WOO shines.

Potential - Fast track/Stake out I run these perks and enjoy them but they need something and it's too early for me to figure out what.

    Killer.

Surge/Jolt - Basic atk, 40 sec CD, and range keeps this perk out of my loadout. It's just 8% which may or may not even hit a gen. It's outclassed heavily by SHPR, Pop, etc. It's almost 2022 please give it the Third seal treatment and allow any atks please.

Oppression - This perks has great potential. The issue is the 80 sec CD is not justified due to the effect. I recommend at the very least reduce to 60 (40 best) and add overcharge to it. So kick, fail, 5% regression on possible 3 gens....would be better but still outclassed. Re-work overcharge to do something else.

Agitation - This perk is so underrated. I know some Doc's use it but with the new SHPR this perk should get some more love. I can take 15% off a gen every hook with agitation.

That was changed due to EGC being added to the game, pretty much killing off her endgame potential.

They also can yeet on out through the hatch, active trap or not.

Ah, well it's good to know that now rather than later.

I remember when a active trapped survivor jumped through hatch on me for the first time.....I was so salty even made a forum thread (which I rarely do). I was so upset but it would be really rough if it was any other way. Even though they can't be activated @Pizzasauce still place a trap in end game....No reason to through away 500 BP each and you never know might trap a survivor who does not know about the trap rules and regulations.

  • Nothing wrong with being modest.

  • Nice touch.....Trolling I see.

  • How the hell is @dspaceman20 not on this list?

And @Mooks you should most definitely be on it as well.

  • It's a close battle between Sprit and Artist but it's Artist for me. The giant glass shards could get messy with Spirit which is why it's Artist.

Side note - Huntress would be a fun one.....Hey babe don't like how that guy's looking at me....Hatchet go.

  • BRUH

You are just killing me......Can't believe you have this giant post of false advertising.

Learn to play against the new killer maybe?

If you hate the game you are obviously taking it way to serious resulting in frustration which leads to bad play.

Only cause people keep bringing it up. Yes, it has horror themes so do most games that have that but how many of them advertise it and market it as a horror game when you actually play it and it's almost a complete 180.

If it bothers you that much to make a thread why are you playing? Has it got more and more disney of late...maybe but do we really want survivors hiding in bushes all day scared to do anything? The hide and seek game is not as appealing as what we have now...I know this because i used to try to get friends to play (when i was new before i knew better) and they said " I dont want to play hide and seek ".

Again it's still not a horror game. If this is considered a horror because of examples like that everything from fnaf to half of Nintendo's library is as well.

Dont AGAIN me. I didnt say it was i said it had horror characters thats it....since i have to repeat myself.

  • Its got horror characters but its only creepy for a short time.

Now it can still make me jump here and there.... here some examples.

Working a gen and notice myers staring at you through a window. Hear ghostface straps when working a gen or opening a chest. A very fast ogre in flames flying in your direction.

  • This is just sad...no new player should have a bad experience. This is the time you should have the most fun but instead you have to deal with 5 year players who act like they have never won a gm before.

  • Dont want to shame anyone but im sure you can find it.

  • Do crows get repelled quickly? Yes but thats about my only gripe besides elevation screwing her. Honestly she def in top 10 and i heard her compared to legion and almost died choking on my coffee.

  • @Laluzi said:

I'm having no problems using her. The fact that she's a 115 gives her more flexibility than most other ranged killers when it comes to chases, and she has a much longer attack range than semi-ranged killers like PH or Nemesis. She's able to find survivors with ease, and she zones the hell out of people. If you don't want to deal with a loop, it's trivial to either push a survivor out of it or get a health state. If survivors try overmuch to deal with the birds, she's perfectly capable of running up to them and whacking them the old-fashioned way.

She's better on some maps than others, which is true of most killers, but they mostly hurt her long-distance tracking potential, not her ability in chase (excepting Haddonfield, where survivors constantly switch floors in chase.) She's not S-Tier, because she lacks mobility, but I'd give her a solid B or A in her current state. She takes skill to use her ability effectively, but if you're good at predicting survivor movements (which is a vital skill for any ranged killer), she can be pretty damn oppressive.

Well said. Agree with everything you said. I have had lots of fun with her.

She has some add ons to help but yes her recharge is slow. However unless you are send crows to scout gens you should not use them all at once mid chase. Use 1 or 2 and it recharges faster. Block a couple of exits they can take from the loop and physically go to the spot you didnt block with crows. If they leave loop your prepared and if they run from you around the loop bang em with the crow you placed. Hope i said this in a way you understand.

I have been using her exclusively since release and she takes some learning but worth it.

For instance I had a survivor drop shack pallet ( he inside shack me outside) so i placed a crow at dropped pallet, then placed one at vault and proceeded to the only exit left. He decided not to run out of shack when i placed crows and ran towards palket as i came to the open door....downed by crows. His best bet was to bolt out the door when i placed the crows but he still wouldnt of had much distance since i was rotating towards that exit. If you on xbox i can send the clip.

  • @MrSlippery said:

There's different ways to use the crows. You can use them to force a survivor into the open, or be hit. To track survivors across the map. Or use the swarm in a closer area, then you either can get a free hit, because they either have to repel the crows, or try running from you, which let's you hit them with the crows again. Bird lady is pretty good. You just aren't playing her right, it sounds like.

    This.

I didn't even consider this. For some reason I assumed it had to be on Doctor.

The Static Blast one is pretty easy though. Go to Midwich, The Game or DDS. Try not to kill anyone too early (and hopefully nobody DCs). Used:

Distressing+Discordance+Lethal Pursuer+BBQ with Calm and Order purple addons.

Got pretty lucky and nailed it first time.

    I will try that.

And yeah, I'm glad I wasn't around for the Wraith one.

Yes. It says using these 3 perks....not these 3 only. Using another killer that can benefit from M&A is wat im looking for its his only good perk and not good for his style.

  • @StarLost said:

Just got done with this one - oh man that was nasty.

It's basically the Adept Doctor, but slightly easier.

DCs do not count as kills either, from what I'm seeing.

Took me 7 tries to get it and didn't have to resort to camping or slugging, but I have a feeling there are going to be a lot of very irate Doctors running around over the next few days.

So - if you see a doctor running Overcharge, Overwhelming Presence and Monitor - please consider easing up a bit. Otherwise people are going to start camping this nightmare of an archive challenge out.

Pssf. I still aint did 20 static blast. As for the adept one I am hoping one of my other killers have his perks.

I mean, I got 8 likes on my comment which means I’m not the only one who believes this.

To put my own explanation out there:

Survivors have to compete with each other for points considering there are 4 of them vs 1 Killer who doesn’t have to worry about sharing points with anyone.

If a Killer performs well, they will always have more points (which is what my argument was from the beginning).

You too are funny. I have had games where i outscored every survivor. I have also had games where qll 4 outscored the killer. Both roles have a bp cap at 32k...just got to do work.

Freddy is still really solid and if you played him the right way its not a big change. 5 snares is all you need and I have no idea why the nerf was needed for pallet freddy. Thats what happens when you balance for ass tier (aka where the devs play).

I do try to take a hit for the person who just unhooked me when they have BT, not because I want the killer's attention but because I feel like I owe it to the guy who saved me.

I understand that but if the unhooker is healthy and you get in between the Killer and them you cant really blame them when they go after you. They tried to go after unhooker and denied that. Borrowed time is to protect you from a tunneling killer not to use as offense. Leave, go heal, get on a gen or go back on hook.

I know there will be alot of people that will use that stupid excuse "that's the risk of hexs"

In reality why is it even a risk or fair for your hexs to be spawned on and in sight of the survivors. To lose 2 perks within 16seconds is honestly just stupid.

Hexs or totems in general shouldn't just spawn in the open.

Totems should not be spawned on in sight.

Totems and hexs should not spawn near a gen.

I dont think it's unfair or unreasonable to ask for all totems to be hid in some degree. Or if you wanted to go the extra mile block all totems for a small time early game.

I can assure you lullaby and undying isnt game changing.

I have been running plaything pentimento so i would love this. Fully understand your complaint though but at same time not the best time for regular hexes. It the time if the booners so I recommend my build. There always at least one who has to cleanse there plaything totem resulting in 30 repair debuff. Its really fun when you see a dull cleansed early in game....GG EZ

    Exactly.

I’ve watched a lot of streamers who complain on stream that they are being ‘tunneled’. Simply because they got a second hook and no one else has. When playing if see someone who was last on hook I often ignore them but there has been times I encounter them again after that. No second chance sorry. I also sometimes lose track of who I hooked last.

Legit tunneling does suck though. Yesterday had a trapper hook me. When I was unhooked he ran past other injured survivors to hook me again. Once again I get unhooked and he did the same, ran past other injured survivors he could have slugged to once again hook me. Then he proceeded to smack me on hook. I really wanted to know what in chat what I did to piss him off so much but he was a console player.

Thats what i do. Only two exceptions.

    1. If i am behind i slug the unhooked.

    2. Unhooker has bt and refuses/blocks me from going after unhooker. You want my attention now you have it.

I like playing killer and honestly something I love is that as a killer even if you lose you still win. Not only do you play into the "hope" aspect of the entity you're also fighting a battle of attrition. The survivors can never really win, it's only a matter of time...

Great mindset to have....you play better when you dont care about losing (at least i do). I play to win with double digit hooks and what i did was if i dont get a 3k or better I get to change my outfit. Win stay in the winning outfit lose get some new drip. Im sitting here hoping i lose because i have been on same outfit for days. Team i just played almost pulled it off but that one survivor just had to cleanse her plaything totem.

I dont watch other people play the game that I can just go play myself much. What i do know is I could care less what otz says or does. I could go see whst hes claiming and see if i agree (as anyone should) but that sounds like poor time management when i could be playing the gm....Make sense?

A lot of people consider her S tier because she's a solo queue stomper, which is fair considering most teams you'll face are solos. Just a bit of coordination ruins her.

I never considered her s tier. S tier killers usually have the whole toolkit (meaning most or all strats can be countered by them) Hag does not fit that bill. Yes if you are a Hag master your very strong but its like that for a lot of killers. Solo q stomper? That can be anyone 😄

  • Killer

STBL - building up tokens is so fun and the way to can punish survivors mistakes with it is a bonus.

SHPR - 15% pop for doing a task you going to do anyway. Great for tracking as well.

Brutal - mainly a feel good perk but who dont want to feel good.

    SURVIVOR

WOO - Great to find next safe zone as fast as possible. Also helps with knowing whats been used.

Q&Q - the plays you can make in chase are so satisfying....even better with deception/head on.

    I bounce.

Hag will probably always be my comfort zone killer, but I also play a lot of Demo, Doctor, Artist, Cenobite (not as much since his nerfs), Plague and when I've had enough time to forget, Pig.

Im a jack of all trades. No matter was daily they through at me im comfortable with it. There are killers i prefer of course but the only killer i prefer that can be considered top tier is Artist and i guess Huntress. Pig, fred, trapper are in my preferred list as well. DS used to be there but he just dont feel right anymore.

To have some extra fun I play cosmetic roulette. I use an outfit and if I win I keep that outfit until I have a game i lose (2k or less). Since her release i am on Artist 3rd outfit (midnight blue dress with purple wreath). Have yet to use her ice dress or yellow outfits. Hope i lose soon.

SBMM has been much better than ranks were (seriously, if you look at my earliest posts, maybe 2/3 of my matches were awful - so many smurfs) but I still get the odd 'wut' matchup, and it's very difficult to tell that you've been thrown to the wolves until you've already gotten a few hooks.

True. Cant compare us normal folks to people whos job is to play this gm. We dont play their competition and im not saying we are all low mmr but we aint there level. You can still get unlucky on occasion and get survivors below or way above you.

As far as seeing me play are you on xbox by chance?

She's fine... except the distorted screechy whale sounds she makes every 2 seconds 😂

Lol i am just in love with everything about her. I can still get so much better with her and im still doing more than well with her. The build i have is magical and snowmen have no effect.

Well, at 3000 hours you are probably experienced enough to pretty much do as you like and have a reasonable chance of winning.

For us intermediates, when we get certain maps/matchups/killer combinations, we have to sweat a bit.

That said, I am genuinely curious as to how you're going about getting 12 hooks every game and still winning. Do you stream/have a YT channel?

DCs...yeah. It feels like that sometimes there isn't a 'right' answer. I can end the game fast and get cussed out for not giving them a chance, or I can give them a chance and get cussed out for not just ending.

So you guys dont play intermediate survivors? Sounds like poor matchmaking which effects everyone positively or negatively. To be clear i play for 12 hooks and not all the games i can 4k (no one wins everything) but my point was i win wayyyyyy more than i lose (2k or less). There are certains games where the map, spawns, tiles, etc are just a complete mis match for the killer Im using.

I believe most pay more attention to the few they lose instead of the majority they win. I can only play between 5pm-9pm eastern and a bit more on weekends and i have a wife and 4 kids so know i dont stream. I get grief from my wife for the few hrs i play now. Im not a fan of watching someone else play a game when i can play....time management.

I still groan when i see rpd, haddonfield, Chapel, and im extremely glad Hawkins is gone. Honestly midwich is the only map i like no matter the killer i use. I just play, equip what i know i can get value out of, and kill. I usually always let someone leave but the game is a 3k double digit hooks win for me.
